The tabloids are continuing their hissy fit about Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie being in the same city at the same time (and even in the occasional film frame). OK!, In Touch and Star are all running various stories on Jolie-Pitt versus Depp-Paradis, and some of the stories are sort of unintentionally hilarious. Things I didn’t know: Angelina likes to do all of her love scenes nude; Johnny Depp really wishes he was getting it on with Helen Mirren; Brad Pitt has bodyguards spy on Angelina; Angelina flirts with Johnny in front of Brad; and finally, Angelina forced Brad to stay in Venice with her rather than attend the Oscars, because she’s a demon. Magazine – In Johnny Depp/Angelina Jolie news, a source who has worked closely with Johnny says: “Trust me. kissing Angelina Jolie on camera is the least exciting thing he’ll do all year.… He likes to do movies that are a lot weirder. Johnny’s dream costar is someone more along the lines of Helen Mirren.” A different source says: “Brad doesn’t mean to act jealous, but he’s not comfortable letting his woman get really close to one of the sexiest men alive.”
In Touch Weekly – During the Oscars, Brad Pitt was in a rented home in Venice, drinking red wine alone. Brad wanted to fly to LA for the Academy Awards, but Angelina “put her foot down.” So he had to call all his LA buddies and tell them he couldn’t come over and play — including Jen, who was upset that Angelina “had come between” them “yet again.” On March 4, Brad, Angie and Johnny toured an art museum in Venice and Angie put her hand on Johnny’s chest and then put an arm around his neck. This “embarrassed” Brad, who turned his back, and a source says Angie “controls Brad like a puppet.”
Star Magazine – Vanessa Paradis has been checking Johnny Depp’s script for The Tourist so she knows EXACTLY when he’ll be working on love scenes with Angelina Jolie. A source says “Angie likes to do her love scenes completely nude.” A source says: “Johnny is the one guy Brad feels threatened by.” Brad has asked Angie’s bodyguards to report back about what’s the two are up to on set; “He doesn’t want to be the fool who doesn’t know what’s going on.”

Am I the only one enjoying the general tabloid consensus that Brad is now the “jealous mess”. Usually they cast Angelina in that role. I always enjoy a little gender equality! As far as what is actually happening (or not happening) between Angelina and Johnny… well, of course I have no idea. I’ve always wanted the two of them to work together, just because I think they probably have similar personalities and interests, but I don’t know how that translates into “affair”. But I’m an Angelina fan who acknowledges the possibility that it could totally happen.

The ragmags are hilarious!! I love reading the midweek madness thing at Jezebel and the comments.
I imagine that “Angelina likes to do her nude scenes naked” comes from the rumors that she did that to nab Brad when they did their movie together. So, I guess being totally naked didn’t work with all the other men she has done nude scenes with during her career.
And, poor poor Bradley!! Angelina “put her foot down” and didn’t “let” him fly to L.A. for the Oscars!! He had to go to a silly childrens’ birthday party instead. Boo hoo hoo!! Of course, they ignore the fact that Brad had said from day one that he would not be at the Oscars and he did not attend any of the other awards shows, even when he was in L.A., but still, it’s Angie’s fault he couldn’t spend the evening with his buddies and ex-wife. What a crock!!
These lies sound more ridiculous by the minute. I mean, really, these ragmags are reaching for negative stories, aren’t they? It must be hard since all the photos coming out of Venice shows a happy family enjoying the city. I imagine the lies will get more and more ridiculous as this movie continues to film. Can’t wait!!
Johnny is the male equivalent of Angelina in the looks department. Brad is not. I don’t think Johnny would go there b/c that would be too typical. He likes the unexpected.

Can’t let a week go by without Angelina on the cover. What is wrong with these tabs are they so desparate or is there just noone else as famous as Angelina? I don’t believe in any of the “romance” rumors with the two of them, but I’d be lying if I said that it didn’t REALLY disappoint me to see Johnny sign on with Angie. He’s always so eclectic and refreshing to watch, and he’s always focused on meaty roles that will get him critical acclaim, or eccentric ones done by the likes of Burton. I don’t understand why he’d do this play-by-play action movie that Jolie continues to turn out year after year. Not to mention the fact that he’ll be tabloid fodder for a while now. I thought he was above all that. Depressing.

Anyway, the purpose of people coming to a thread to express annoyance with the thread even being here is so that the people who write this stuff know that we don’t want to hear about them.
Same as Heidi and Spencer *crossing myself* They got banned because all they did was stage photoshoots and it was boring.
The constant updates on the slightest things they do is nauseating. Other stories about other people are always when they are actually doing something-at a premiere/awards show/releasing something-or when there is really juicy gossip about them.
This is just so tedious. They don’t do anything particularly interesting and quite frankly I don’t understand why people find them so fascinating. Especially this site and a particular writer who seems to doggedly follow their every move/every gossip rag story/every little picture that shows up.
To be more clear, I think there shouldn’t be posts about them unless it’s something interesting. I.e. not bothering to cover a tabloid round-up written by some other blogger. It seems they were shoehorned into today’s gossip just so they could have a page.
If they aren’t doing anything interesting, just don’t post about them. Simple as that.

I have to disagree that posting comments will get Brad and Angelina banned. If every single comment said ban them that would be one thing but only a few comments say that in every thread. A lot of people actually enjoy bashing them. The best way to get them banned or have less stories is to not comment at all. Hits/posts drives what’s posted. If every Brad/Angelina story got 5 posts instead of 50, there wouldn’t be so many stories. I like them but pretty often new threads are not neccessary. Also Kaiser would have to get sick of them too. I think some people were banned mostly because she was sick of them too.
In Touch is so funny. They really love the “Brad is desperate for Jennifer” storline. But it doesn’t make sense. If he wanted her so badly, why not leave? If he’s so miserable I doubt Brad would stay for the kids. How can Angelina come between Jennifer and Brad when she’s the one in the relationship? Wouldn’t it be Jennifer coming between her and Brad?

I don’t know if Johnny would go for Angelina. He seems to like elfin women: Winona, Kate Moss & Kate Moss’s near twin Vanessa. However, he seems to like ’em crazy so Angelina would fit the bill on that one. I’m betting if she wanted it, he wouldn’t say no.
The problem with covering the tabloids for these two, is that there is a constant stream of stories but no actual new material. There is really nothing to speculate, as the tabloids are just writing out their own fantasies that has nothing to do with these two. It’s boring because it’s 99% bs, so why debate.

Why is everything ‘lies’ when it comes to Brangelina and yet every tiny bit of gossip about Jen is accepted as the truth, hypocrisy lives.
And sad that so many people have become so sheeplike and take on every opinion of these gossip bloggers. Every day now I see someone quoting Lainey word for word as if it’s their own….laughable.
This is a woman that has a history of dating/marrying costars (Johnny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Farrell, Brad Pitt) and so I get that there is natural curiosity that she is now costarring with Johnny Depp, one of the best looking and most interesting actors out there.
However, since getting together with Brad she has been in several films with male costars, and as far as I can remember, there weren’t really any rumors about her on set hookups (I’m thinking Matt Damon in “The Good Shepard”, Dan Futterman in “A Mighty Heart”, Clint Eastwood in “The Changeling”, James McAvoy in “Wanted”).
It’s interesting that she hasn’t seemed to be drawn to a costar since Brad, and yet the assumption is that she is a devouring man-eater who won’t be able to resist the allure of Johnny, and vice versa. Even though he has been with Vanessa Paradis for years and years and has never been accused of stepping out on her.
I mean, they’re both good looking people, but really? Who really believes that in the shit storm of interest, they would decide to breakup two families for some cheap thrills?

These stories suggest that Depp is as much of a cheating skank as Pitt. Are these “accusations” really fair? Has Depp done something to suggest he would be such a pig? By all accounts so far, Depp loves Paradis, although not enough to marry her…(I’m just sayin’…). Hopefully he’ll complete this movie with Jolie, with his dignity intact.

The fact of the matter is Brad SHOULD feel jealous of Johnny. Johnny is equally good looking, and also smarter and more talented than Brad. Also, we all know Angelina LOVES the sport of taking a man from a married or engaged woman.
