Note from Celebitchy about the ads: The first six weeks of the year have been tough for the site, and we have been trying a new ad program for about a week. For around 2 days, we had new pop-over ads, and due to feedback that this is super annoying, I removed those ads – or so I thought. I turned off the pop-up ad feature through the ad program’s website, but I received some e-mail letting me know that these ads were still coming up. Then people told me there were ads that had sound, and this is completely unacceptable. I live overseas and these ads were not coming up for me or I would have disabled them sooner. We do need to make money, but it is not acceptable for ads to have sound or to take over your viewing space or otherwise disrupt your reading.
