Katherine Heigl knows she’s boring us with her newly brunette hair, so she decided to get up in front of an audience of Hollywood glitterati at the Showest convention and flash her boobs. This was “unintentional,” of course. Much like my go-to move when I meet Clive Owen will be to “accidentally” graze his crotch whilst “accidentally” licking my lips and “accidentally” moaning. Actually, in Dame Heigl’s case, it probably was an accident. She’s the kind of actress who would only flash her boobs if she was getting a $20 million paycheck. When Heigl was giving her acceptance speech at Showest for her “win” of the Showest’s Female Star of the Year, the strap on her ugly red prom dress got busted. Surprisingly, Billy Bush rescued her and was a complete gentleman. Dame Heigl probably kicked him in the nads when they got offstage.
Katherine Heigl has suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction.
While accepting the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year in Las Vegas Thursday, one of the straps on her red dress broke. Shocked, the actress, 31, struggled to continue with her acceptance speech.
Access Hollywood host Billy Bush immediately ran to her rescue, holding her strap in place.
“Oh my,” he Twittered. “Hosting showest awards in LV. Heigl comes up to get award, dress strap breaks…I hold her top on while she accepts!”
All was well by the end of the night: Heigl regained composure and finished her speech. Later, she went backstage, found a pin to secure the strap and continued taking photos.
Earlier in the night, ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine praised Heigl for her “ever-present charm and innate talent” that has made her “transition from TV screen to silver screen seemingly effortless.”“Her comedic timing and flair for acting are showcased in each of her roles and have captivated audiences around the globe,” he said of Heigl, who is rumored to be leaving ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy this year.
Heigl returns to the big screen in June, costarring with Ashton Kutcher in the comedy Killers.

What kills me about Dame Heigl is that she actually is a pretty good actress. She’s got that Julia Roberts-esque ability to make even the most ridiculous rom-com premise slightly watchable. It’s just Heigl’s attitude and general bitchiness that ruins it. But, whatever. Good for her for winning “Star of the Year” and good for Billy Bush for stepping up to help her out. That was really nice of him!

Try as hard as I can but I just can’t give any love to this lady. There is something about her that ticks me off. Must be like those people that don’t like Paltrow I guess.

Can someone explain how she got star of the year? The last movie she had out was Ugly Truth in 2009, which was widely panned as one of the worst of the year. Before that it was 27 Dresses in 2008. 2 crappy rom coms in 2 years makes you Star of the Year? Um…OK.

WHAT is going on with that crazy dress? It’s inadvertent-looking strap width discrepancy has me flummoxed. Is it meant to be that way? Is one boob larger/lower than the other creating the scramble to adjust that caused the malfunction in the first place? Why do I care??? Because I can’t stand this ho!
