Ed Westwick is a bitchy diva to everyone

Cosmopolitan Magazines Fun Fearless Males Of 2010.Dinner New York City

I’m one of those few people that kind of adores Ed Westwick. Granted, I don’t watch Gossip Girl, but I like Westwick as a celebrity. I think it’s because he just seems so fey, so bitchy, so fabulous, and like he doesn’t even care what people think of him and his ways. I think his “I like whatever is happening to my ass” pose on the cover of Arena Homme might have been the point where I was like, “This bitch is amazing!” Oh, and I buy that he’s straight too. I actually think he might be a womanizer.

Anyway, Westwick has become the victim of a Gatecrasher piece that paints him in a horrible light. Gatecrasher basically claims that Westwick is so arrogant, he had a hissy fit at a restaurant when another patron was taking photos… of someone other than Westwick. According to the patron, Westwick “came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’ He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and sh-t.” My Westwick? Oh noes!

Hey there, upper East Siders: We hear that “Gossip Girl” guy Ed Westwick can’t quite keep his cool. A patron at LES hot spot Los Feliz is claiming that the Brit became extremely heated during a recent night out after deciding that his dinner was being disturbed. And what was the cause of the distraction? The fellow diner says he was merely taking photos — at his own table.

“Ed came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!'” says the snapper, who insists he initially didn’t even know who “Chuck Bass” was and was simply trying to capture memories of his own evening.

“He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and s—. I thought it was a joke.”

But it most certainly wasn’t: The amateur cameraman soon realized just how angry Westwick was (“He walked off in a cloud of disgust,” he says), but decided he wasn’t going to take the insult sitting down.

“I went over to him and asked him who he thought he was, and he dissolved into a fit of rage,” says the man, who continued taking pictures of his party.

Soon after, he says he was approached by the manager of the restaurant, who told him he had to leave at Ed’s request.

“Ed was snickering in the corner, because the people he was with had told the staff that I was paparazzi,” says the man. “So I paid my bill, and I left.”

A rep for Westwick admits that Ed has dined at the eatery, but insists that “there was no altercation.”

Still, this isn’t the first time the CW heartthrob has been labeled a hothead — he was reportedly involved in a bar fight with fellow British actor Toby Hemingway at L.A. cantina El Guapo last summer.

Ed’s co-star Chace Crawford supposedly broke up the brawl.

Later, Westwick’s rep denied that altercation, too, adding that Ed and Toby had been friendly since the party.

But those who have worked with the Brit say he has been known to lose his temper.
“He’s been perceived to be like his on-screen Chuck Bass character in real life,” says a snitch who has worked with him. “He does what he wants.”

[From Gatecrasher]

Yeah, I totally believe this happened. And I totally believe Westwick is a big bitch, bless his heart. I mean, it totally sucks for the dude who got kicked out, and it totally sucks that Westwick is so arrogant and moody and intemperate, but what do you expect? He’s Ed Westwick! Seriously, he should take it down a notch. DIVA!

    “What do you expect?”

Ummmm, he plays a cliché part on a crappy show that is going to get cancelled soon (Blake Lively’s boobs can’t even save it)

He needs to suck it up. Sean Penn is an ass, a complete tool, but if he acts like a little bitch and are trying to defend him (very hard) you can always say “Well, he’s won 2 Oscars. He has that going for him”

Same thing with Naomi. She’s a bad bitch but an amazing model and broke many boundaries.

I’m gonna need Ed to do more than smirk at the camera before he starts throwing hissy fits, because honestly, that was very sh-tty/entitled behaviour to get that guy kicked out.

  7. Snarf says:

Toby Hemingway was in that movie with Chace Crawford.

  22. Karen says:

God, what an obnoxious prick; I don’t think being on one (not even a major network mind you) Tv show (in an ensemble cast) should give someone a reason to feel as if they have the right to act like that. He’s totally C-list and not even that famous!

  23. Ali says:

He’s gay. EVERY man in Hollywood is gay, this pretty little diva is no exception. BTW, NOTHING is more unattractive than a pouty, childish, temper tantrum throwing adult male. Yes, that behavior will totally pull in the women! Luckily, gay men LOVE drama so he’ll be OK.

  26. rainy says:

I don’t believe winning an oscar or being a great model gives you the right to be an asshole to people you think are lower than you. We’re all people. If anything you should be looking up to doctors and teachers who have to deal with other people’s shit everyday. Actors and models have people kissing their asses all the time, they should be in great moods. They should also remember that a huge reason they are famous is due to their fans, I just hate that celebrities feel they’re entitled to treat people badly because they’re famous or have won awards that only mean anything because we as a society have given them value.

  27. jen says:

He’s vicious looking and will be a has been in a season… just wait. Mischa Barton knows the drill..

I think giving a celebrity or anyone a pass b/c they ‘are so bitchy and fabulous’ is almost more pathetic than the person with poor etiquette/behavior. How fawning and sad. He’d make fun of you, too. Someone who lies and gets a patron thrown out of a place he has every right to be as well- that’s funny and ‘fabulous’? How much of a loser/celeb worshipper are you, anyway?

  28. Mentok the Mind Taker says:

The mentality of “Who cares? He’s hot!” reminds me of all those women who cheated with all those celebs must’ve thought to themselves.

An a$$ is an a$$ — and usually the cute ones are the worst because of that above stated attitude.

He’s only cute ’til he tosses you like a Kleenex.

Grow up, people. No wonder why women are still treated like garbage. With that attitude, they ask for it.

  29. Sam says:

^^ Oh come on!! It’s not like they know him personally, not like they’re actually going to hook up with him! And besides, they like his attitude, be it a show for the media or his real personality. If they like him that way, you can’t tell them to go like the good guy, or whoever else.
And women are not stupid, don’t make them sound like they are. They all know who they choose to be with and why.
