Did Jesse James just leave rehab after less than a week?

Warner Bros. Premiere Of "The Lake House"

At this point, it’s pretty much established that Sandra Bullock is moving out of the home she shared with husband Jesse James. While we still don’t know for sure if she’s consulted a divorce lawyer (fingers crossed), photographers spotted a moving van at the Bullock-James home, and most people think Sandra was having her possessions taken from the house. I think that’s a good thing.

Not such a good thing? Star Magazine is reporting the Jesse James has already checked out of rehab – after staying at Arizona facility for less than a week:

A source close to Sandra Bullock’s disgraced husband, Jesse James, tells Star that the West Coast Chopper hunk has left rehab after only one week, and is laying low at a male friend’s house.

The source claims Jesse quietly checked out of Arizona’s Sierra Tucson Treatment Center within the last couple of days. His exit coincides with a moving van being spotted outside the L.A.-area home he shares with Sandra on April 2.

“All of Jesse’s pals have been talking about it,” says the source. Though a rep stated that James had “realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage” when he entered the facility on March 26, the source adds: “It seems Jesse just isn’t that serious about rehab after all.”

[From Star Magazine]

Did he leave the facility to try to win Sandra back? To talk her out of moving her stuff out? Or did he just come to the realization that screwing around on your loving wife doesn’t make you an addict, it makes you a f-cking douche? I’m sure Jesse “wasn’t serious” about rehab. There is no rehab for “dumb”. There is no rehab for “douche”. Only a series of choices about what kind of man and husband you want to be.

Considering the center had a bunch of people doing interviews about Jesse I’m surprised he didn’t leave much earlier. I couldn’t believe how open they were about a patient. Also if he went for sex addiction, a total copout. He cheated and got caught. It’s possible he went for drugs but there’s no indication he was abusing anything.

  2. rkintn says:

Looks like he was only playing the rehab card to get Sandra back and it didn’t work. Just when you think he can’t get any douchier..he does!

  3. guilty pleasures says:

Yup, once he realized Sandra isn’t going to be manipulated by The Tiger Maneuver he cut the act.
    Can’t cure douche is right!
Run Sandra, run! You are beloved by millions, he is reviled by millions, the only things that appreciate his particular charms are filthy gutter snipes. Oh, and maybe some White Supremist morons.
    Bye JJ.

I really love the dress she is wearing the in the bottom picture. She looks amazing.

You can take the white gorilla out of the jungle, but you can’t take the jungle out of the white gorilla. YOU BLEEEEEEW IT, you ugly, tattooed up loser. Oh, and Onion Hats & goatee’s are no longer cool.

  6. Sigh. says:

    You can’t fix stupid.

  7. Raven says:

I’ve been reading that he checked into rehab a day after the paparazzi incident where he blocked an SUV and his friend beat on it and broke windows while he threatened the photographer. It appeared that he may have been avoiding arrest. It’s possible that he worked out a deal to avoid arrest and then left. Obviously, with the arrival of the moving van, his ruse to get treatment wasn’t working either, so why stay?

  8. kate says:

sex rehab is an excuse for people who cannot control themselves. there are definitely people who have issues with attachment but you cannot be addicted to sex! do these sex addicts who leave rehab never have sex again? Because an alcoholic or a drug addict can never use again or they go back to the same place…

  9. All Is On says:

Just because he made it in life doesn’t mean he has it made. Same goes for Sandra.

  10. Kayleigh says:

Does no one else think that she knew what she was doing when she married the racist d-bag? How do you not know some one is so hateful and gross after marrying them? Every one found out before her? Really?

And guys, enough with the “addicted to sex” BS, it’s not a get out of jail free card for f*ck’s sake.

  11. lilred says:

Wow, a whole week That rehab center Must be good to “cure” him that quick.

  12. canadianchick says:

Sandra looks great in that photo with shoulder length hair. His leaving rehab is a good sign she’s sticking to her guns and not falling for his douchebaggery. I read that his mom supervised the moving van so I wondered if JJ was moving out away from the paps, not a move of Sandy’s stuff necessarily. And where are the kids while he was in rehab and then now at his buddy’s? Isn’t their mom at a halfway house? Hope the kids are okay.

Cute, how Tiger’s legacy has been cemented as golden boy off assholery.

  14. lucy2 says:

I think it was a combo of trying to convince her to work it out, and also to try to save some face publicly, because everyone really hates him right now. Neither worked, so he left, which is a pretty clear sign he didn’t go for the right reasons.

  15. Orbit says:

Bullock’s an idiot if she takes him back. The only way she’d hold onto him is by getting full tat sleeves and a boob job.

  16. mik says:

Sandra had to have known he’s a racist POS. He had nazi memorabilia for gods sake!

  17. Rianna says:

@mik. Not defending him but it is not unusual for people to collect war memorabilia. I have a friend who collects stuff from WWII so I really don’t see anything wrong with doing that at all. People collect all kinds of things you know? Just cause you collect something doesn’t make you what you collect.
I do think that he is an ass and I don’t think that Sandra is going to roll over like Elin did with Tiger. I would expect a divorce to be in the process by the end of this month. The moving van is pretty obvious that she has had enough.
Sandra doesn’t need his money, she has no children with him (besides loving her step-children) and she is not riding on his fame. So unless she wants to try and make it work there isn’t much to hang around for.

  18. snowball says:

Jesse’s first two kids have a different, stable mother and they’re with her. Sunny is with his mother, who was at the house when the moving van was there, which not only picked up a lot of boxes, it dropped off some furniture and several boxes.

Jesse’s agent (?) tried to make it clear that Jesse wasn’t necessarily going to this rehab place for sex addiction, that this Sierra Tucson place treated all kinds of things.

Someone else reported that Jesse had been trying to reach Sandra and when he finally got far enough to actually be on the phone at the place where she was and she refused to speak to him, that’s when he left rehab.

Meh. He obviously either wasn’t serious about it or has lost his mind.

  19. bellaluna says:

    @ Kayleigh,

Read the last two issues of people magazine. Even his “associates” say he had two lives: the one he had with Sandra, the children, and their friends, and the one he had with everyone else. There is truth to that saying “The woman is always the last to know” you know.

    @ Rianna,

Yeah, supposedly he got the hat from his godfather or great-uncle (the story is changing and thus unclear), who was in the war. Collecting things of value (and original German items from WWII are very valuable) is not exactly rare.

  20. kate says:

theres no way sandra is as innocent as everyone is making her out to be. she must have known at least something.

  21. kate says:

    @bellaluna
I don’t usually read People magazine with the assumption that everything they write is true and neither should you (or anyone for that matter). You have no idea what the real story is (nor do really any of us) but it is very possible Sandra knew that she was married to a neo-nazi. It is not a rule that the woman always finds out last. Unless you personally know Sandra, you probably should stop making huge generalizations about their situation.
