Ever since I read Jennifer’s interview in The Advocate, she’s been back in my good graces. She was so funny about gay culture and how she’s a diva friend to the gays! It made me lover her all over again. So I’m loving Jennifer’s animal print dress for a big screening of The Back-Up Plan in Florida. She looks amazing! I think I like it because the dress is cut well, it’s a great length for her, and her hair and makeup are great. Is our diva back?
Marc doesn’t look all that great though. But he never does. Sigh… at least they love each other. I think it’s for real too. Jennifer recently spoke about how she didn’t want to “torture” Marc by doing lots of love scenes in The Back-Up Plan:
She recently revealed she asked her husband to keep away from the film’s set while she was shooting love scenes with her handsome co-star Alex O’Loughlin.
‘I didn’t want to torture the poor guy,’ she said.
‘He shouldn’t be watching when I’m seducing another man on a kitchen table. Personally I don’t like doing love scenes at all, because they make me feel uncomfortable.’
But the romantic clinches weren’t enough to put her off the script, which she says came about at just the right time.
In the romcom, she plays a a single woman determined to become a mother who meets a love interest on the same day as she falls pregnant through artificial insemination.
‘This movie was perfect timing,’ she says. ‘It was the perfect premise – I could bring everything I had just gone through to the movie, plus I love romantic comedies and
it’s what I wanted to do.’Her last big screen offering, the 2006 drama El Cantante, flopped at the box office but she’s still as sure as ever that The Back-Up Plan will be a hit.
She says: ‘With this movie, I knew it was going to be different from the others before it.
‘I had a new confidence, and a new stillness in my performance that I feel was a result of the kids.’

Jennifer’s really out there, selling this movie hard. I’m hoping it does well for her, honestly. Because I want my diva back, and because it doesn’t really look terrible.

I saw “Big Night” again recently, and I gotta say Marc Anthony was very cute and good in that. Random thought, there.

She does look fab. And I will totally be there to watch the movie, even if I have to go Sunday morning since my hubby won’t go with me. I am happy that she admits to liking romantic comedies. Me too! They are my favorite and I am so tired of hollywood actresses putting them down.

Usually I think she’s a so-so actress but she’s fine in romcoms. However, she is one of the few celebs I would invite to my margarita party. I bet she’d be a hoot to hang with. Bonus: I could get her throwdown drunk and convince her to give me Alex O’Loughlin’s phone number. 🙂

Well, I’m going to see the movie too and not because of JLo. She’s not one of my favorites, although she does look lovely in the pix above and the movie does look like fun. I’ll see it because of her hot, hot, did I say HOT co-star, Alex O’Loughlin. Check out Moonlight if you don’t believe me.

She needs to go back and try to get parts like in “Out of Sight” She was soooo terrific in that movie. Sex-ay as hell.
Now she suffers from the blahs like everyone else. Hollywood desperately wants to “blah” women out until they are all the same one-dimensional I need a man character. Bored by it. Bored.

LOVE the dress! She should have worn different shoes, although they do match Marc Anthony’s suit. The bracelet doesn’t really match either.
