Priscilla Presley’s face is the result of a plastic surgery scam artist

gla-003013.jpg
Everyone who’s seen Priscilla Presley in the last few years has had one question: What the hell happened to her face? Priscilla has always been a beautiful woman, but lately her face has looked frightening and plastic- much like the face of socialite infamous Jocelyn Wildenstein, better known as “The Cat Lady.” TMZ reports that Priscilla was the victim of a scam artist who claimed his injections were better than Botox, when in fact they were just low-grade silicone.

TMZ has learned Priscilla Presley is the victim of a botched cosmetic procedure. What’s worse — it was at the hands of a gigolo who was sent to prison for perpetrating an injectable scam on Hollywood’s elite

Priscilla, whose face looks … strange on “Dancing with the Stars,” went to Dr. Daniel Serrano around 2003. Serrano was a good-looking doc from Argentina who hooked into Hollywood’s social A-list and started giving them what he claimed were miracle injections that worked better than Botox.

In fact, Serrano was injecting industrial, low-grade silicone similar to what’s used to lubricate auto parts in Argentina into the faces of these women. Several women, including Shawn King, Larry’s wife, and Diane Richie, Lionel’s wife at the time, held injection parties in their homes, with Serrano needling them with the non-FDA approved drug that he had smuggled in to the U.S. Shawn King has said the injections created a lump in her lip that made it difficult to speak and drink liquids. Serrano charged between $300 and $500 a pop.

But wait, it gets worse. Serrano wasn’t even a licensed doc in the U.S. The injections caused lumps, paralysis and holes in the faces of some of the women (and some men) he injected.

Serrano, who was nicknamed Dr. Jiffy Lube, was indicted by the Feds for smuggling drugs, and the conspiracy and use of unapproved drugs. He was convicted, and last week he was released and is currently being investigated by federal immigration officials and could be deported.

BTW, Diane Richie was also indicted as an accomplice. She pled out and was placed on probation.

As for Priscilla — who had no idea she was being injected with silicone — we’re told she’s undergoing corrective work.

Paralysis and holes in your face? Damn! I wish Priscilla had spoken with natural aging advocate Jamie Lee Curtis before she hired this clown to ruin her face. She was a beautiful woman and didn’t need any enhancement whatsoever, and now she looks like a sideshow freak. I’d bet if she had this to do over again, she would have been happy with her natural born face– wrinkles and all.

Note by Celebitchy: You can get a good facelift and not look like a cat person with pinched eyes. It’s just a matter of letting the surgery settle and not getting constant botox and restylane touch ups. That’s awful that Presley was injected with industrial silicone! How dreadful for her. Even though she looks freaky and is a Scientologist, I still like her. The 62-year-old is also doing great on “Dancing With The Stars.” Here are clips of Priscilla on DWTS from this week and last.

Jamie Lee Curtis talks about aging naturally

jamieleeheader.jpg
Actress/author Jamie Lee Curtis, who turns 50 this year, is one of the few Hollywood stars who isn’t chock foll o’ Botox and silicone- and now she’s going public with how she feels about aging and beauty. Curtis appears on this month’s cover of AARP magazine topless, with little makeup and zero airbrushing. You know, like normal people.

jamieleecurtis.jpgActress Jamie Lee Curtis has once again decided to bare her soul – and body – to convince women that they will be their most beautiful if they take care of their bodies and age naturally.

The star, whose curves turned heads in such early films as Trading Places and Perfect, will help celebrate her 50th birthday in November by posing gray-haired and topless on the cover of the May-June issue of “AARP The Magazine“, available March 24.

She made a similar splash in More Magazine in 2002 when she appeared makeup-free and unretouched in a sports bra and briefs, drawing attention at the time to her “fatty little tummy” and other flaws. The point, Curtis tells PEOPLE, is that glam isn’t real, but good health is.

Curtis Drops 20 Pounds on a Simple Diet

After learning her cholesterol and blood pressure were too high about a year and a half ago, she dropped 20 pounds by giving up “fattening” foods that most Americans would consider relatively healthy – like crackers, bread and granola, which have white flour and sugar and are surprisingly high in fat. She hopes American women will learn from her example.

She also gave away her uncomfortable shoes and most of her jewelry. For one, she doesn’t wear them (save for her wedding band, a necklace with a charm for her daughters, diamond earrings and a watch), and also because she wants to lighten her load off the scale. “I’ve had the experience of going into people’s homes after they’ve died, and I’m amazed at the number of things people amass and never look at again. And I’m just not that person,” Curtis says.

“I’m like the Terminator, that’s what I am,” she adds. “I should have a TV show where I go into people’s houses and terminate their possessions.”

There is something to be said for taking care of yourself and feeling confident in the body you were born with–regardless of age. It’s sexy as hell! I think Helen Mirren is another great example of this – she looked amazing at the Oscars last month. Compare photos of Jamie to other celebs who are fighting the natural process of aging– such as Nicole Kidman and Janice Dickinson– and she blows them away. I wish more actresses would follow Jamie’s example.

Note by Celebitchy: I love how Jamie Lee Curtis has never been afraid to show her body. She is making an important statement about how normal women shouldn’t feel bad when confronted by the Hollywood ideal, which is unnatural for older women in particular. Here’s a quote from her 2002 More Magazine interview where she posed in just bike shorts and a bra with no makeup:

“There’s a reality to the way I look without my clothes on,” she says. “I don’t have great thighs. I have very big breasts and a soft, fatty little tummy. And I’ve got back fat. People assume that I’m walking around in little spaghetti-strap dresses. It’s insidious — Glam Jamie, the Perfect Jamie, the great figure, blah, blah, blah. And I don’t want the unsuspecting 40-year-old women of the world to think that I’ve got it going on. It’s such a fraud. And I’m the one perpetuating it.”

Brooke Shields says she keeps thinking she’s younger

jtm-030955.jpg
Brooke Shields has a new interview in the upcoming issue of Parade Magazine in which she talks about the issue a lot of us face as the years slide by; she says she thinks she’s younger than she is:

“I keep thinking I’m younger than I am,” the Lipstick Jungle star, 42, tells Parade magazine in its new issue. “The other day, I was working with a photographer to recreate an image we had done years ago. When I saw my face, I kind of went, ‘What is that?’ I assumed I was going to look the same, and I didn’t. It was a shock to my system.”

Still, the vibrant actress identifies with young characters for which she’ll read scripts – even if her husband, Chris Henchy, 43, thinks otherwise.

“Sometimes I’ll read a part and identify with the material, and I’ll say, ‘Oh, honey, I really like this,’ ” Shields says. “He’ll look at me like I’m crazy and ask, ‘What’s wrong with you? You’re not in your 20s. You seriously think you can walk in there and get this role? It’s going to a 24-year-old.’ ”

Nevertheless, Shields enjoys a busy life. Besides her TV series, there are daughters Rowan, 4, and Grier, 22 months.

“I’m really proud of my kids, I’m excited about my job, and my marriage is not suffering. It’s not easy, but it’s not falling apart,” she says. “This is the first time in my life that everything is exactly the way I want it to be.”

When I heard this story I was like “Bingo!” because this has been happening to me the last few months and I thought I was the only one. Even though I try to hide it on myspace and facebook, I’ll be honest and let you know that I turn 35 next month. I’ve been looking at myself in the mirror and thinking “Where did the time go?” and “Who is this person?” because in my mind I’m still late 20-something. So good for you, Brooke Shields, for being honest about it. A lot of us think we’re younger than we are. You don’t have to have an acting career to feel old.

Brooke Shields is shown in the header at the Glamour Magazine 2007 “Women of the Year Awards” on 11/5/07, thanks to PRPhotos. Here’s are pictures of her as a young girl. She’s still gorgeous.
