Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Inc., must be pissed that she didn’t care enough to visit him in prison on his birthday. He is said to be selling private wedding and honeymoon photos including pictures of the singer topless to his fellow inmates in exchange for heroin:

Superstar Amy, 24, knew the 25-year-old loser had been selling signed publicity shots of her while he’s on remand in London’s Pentonville jail…

A prison source said: “Blake is in a bad way and is always desperate for any drugs he can get his hands on. Some of the photos of Amy are a bit racy but he obviously puts his habit before his wife.”

The seven snaps include three of the loved-up couple canoodling on a hotel balcony on their wedding day in Miami almost a year ago.

Others show Amy posing in a bra - and sticking out her tongue as she frolics in a pool in a bikini.

But the most upsetting image for the Back To Black star is the boobbaring shot of her in lacy undies.

Amy has ignored the pleas of family and friends to ditch Blake, who is being held on charges of trying to pervert the course of justice over an assault case. She regularly speaks to the junkie on the phone.

But she hasn’t visited him for weeks after quitting her central London home to stay in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, where she is recording a new album at a studio with her musician pal Mark Ronson.

It was thought that Winehouse was moving on from Blake by refusing to visit him and even conveniently forgetting his birthday. She was seen out with her friend Blake Wood over the weekend, but she was carrying a photo of herself with her husband Blake, suggesting that she’s making a show of solidarity with her jailed man despite the fact that she hasn’t gone to visit him in some time.

The Sun reports that Winehouse stood up the “cast and crew” of the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace when she failed to show up to the set to “get inspiration for the 007 theme she is recording.” However her rep has sort of half-denied that she’s recording the theme song, saying “Amy has been in the studio working on songs for her new album with Mark Ronson. Recording for anything else is pure speculation.”

And as for the nude pics, we’ve already sort-of seen Amy’s boobs in that breast cancer awareness photo spread in which her breasts were covered in duct tape. That had to have been painful to remove. Unlike getting rid of a certain vindictive drug-addicted jailed husband, whose absence would lead one to breathe easier. This is a girl who cuts herself though, so there’s a lot more going on for her in that relationship than just young love.

Well, this reporter is snarky and all, but I don’t think Amy’s been doing too much new recording of the new James Bond theme or anything else, especially since her record label has given her the ultimatum to clean up or they won’t release her new CD. No, I think she’s been doing a lot of drinking, drugging, and wandering aimlessly. Which probably makes Blakie Wakie really mad. Every time she doesn’t show up to visit him, he ends up doing something stupid, like trying to kill himself or overdosing on prison heroin. Hey– maybe Amy is smarter than we give her credit for. Maybe she is purposely ignoring her lecherous husband hoping he’ll do the heavy lifting and get lost for good.

Amy Winehouse’s record company, Universal, has decided that they really cannot release her album unless she can get drug free.

British newspaper The Sun is now reporting that the 24-year-old has been issued an ultimatum by her record label after she allegedly cancelled a recording session in the Bahamas - with label chiefs urging her to stay out of trouble or plans to release her highly anticipated third album will be shelved indefinitely.

A source tells the publication, “Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album.

“They would never release her from her deal, they would just not put an album out. She has been warned about her behaviour and needs to keep the standards up.”

Now, we might assume that her record company has suddenly developed a moral compass, but in reality it is their best interests to make this album and its promotion flow seamlessly. If Amy’s album stinks, Universal may never recover the costs of recording. Not to mention Amy has a habit of canceling performances, and if she can’t meet her promotional commitments it’s going to cost the record company. Her sales might not be enough to cover these costs.

While if we banned every recording who takes drugs from releasing an album we’d only have a choice between James Blunt and Celine Dion, it seems to me that Amy’s life is absolutely falling apart, and that is the key here. Most people, and particularly those working in an industry where drugs are readily available, have tried drugs, and may even use them regularly, but mostly they seem to function reasonably well. At least until their life falls apart for whatever reason. And Amy’s life is certainly falling apart right now. She has been exposed smoking crack, her husband is in jail, she has visa problems, and appears to be self-harming. Amy, it’s time to pull your shit together, because soon the cash will run out and you won’t be a star, you’ll just be a junkie.

Your career may never recover. As your own mother says “It’s like watching a car crash - this person throwing all these gifts away”.

Amy’s new album is looking to hit stores sometime in 2009, after reportedly canceling recording sessions for the planned 2008 album.

I’ve come up with a new rule: never write (or probably read) a story about Amy Winehouse while trying to eat lunch. The only thing worse than that is researching a story on Winehouse, because you’re bound to be accosted with a plethora of unsightly, stomach-churning images. Now I know the girl’s got issues, and I truly do feel badly for her, in a way I don’t for a lot of celebs. But that doesn’t mean I can look at the crusts on her face and still want to eat the crust on my sandwich. Amy’s still having her skin issues – and it was reported last week that she was using her some concoction involving her own urine to try to clear her skin. Interestingly, the other thing that works really well is washing your face. Also, showering more than once a fortnight can do wonders for the entire body. Since the invention of plumbing, people have been really big fans of it. Now Amy’s decided to add a little more crazy to her plate (I’m sticking with the lunchtime metaphors here). According to The Sun, Amy believes she’s being “tormented” by demons, and is going to move house for the third time in four months.

She is said to be tormented by “demons” in her new pad in Camden, North London. Though this hasn’t stopped her from letting in some late night guests… Wino wants to quit her home just a few weeks after moving in because she feels her surroundings have contributed to her disturbed state of mind.

A pal said of her latest pad: “She feels it is full of bad vibes and demons bringing her down.” The star quit Camden for Bow, East London, late last year to escape bad memories. Amy then collected more bad memories in Bow, where The Sun’s shock video of her smoking crack cocaine was filmed in January. She then went back to Camden, but believes the demons followed her.

Her face complaint [skin infection] has made her lock herself away, writing her darkest ever material. Maybe she should stay put in her current house and kick out the demons instead of moving – by stopping pumping them into her body.

Rarely do I find myself wholeheartedly shouting, “I agree with those logical people over at The Sun!” But today is that day, because holy crap are they right. Dear Amy Winehouse, the demons aren’t following you from house to house. You’re transporting them. The little hitchhikers are latched onto you so tightly you don’t even see them anymore. I really couldn’t help but wonder how a logical person could think it’s demons that are mucking everything up – and then I remembered that we’re dealing with an addict who likely is neither sober nor logical. So I guess Amy might really think there are actual demons following her – in which case, it’s time to head back to rehab. Actually it’s time to head back to rehab no matter what – and for a good long while this time. I know they say that for rehab to really work, the addict has to hit rock bottom and really WANT to be there. The problem is that Amy Winehouse’s rock bottom is a pretty terrifying place to be.

As much as we tried to stay optimistic about Amy Winehouse, it appears that she’s worse off than ever. The “skin infection” on her face no longer bears the one large roundish mark but is instead replaced with dozens of spots and scabs, including a nasty one near her lip. Amy also bears fresh cuts on her arms, leading most people to believe that she’s back to cutting again. The scabs on her face look like she’s been picking at them, and almost look worse for the concealer she’s used to try to mask them. Supposedly she’s still suffering from impetigo, though a lot of people think her terrible skin is a result of copious amounts of drug use.

After a harrowing visit to her husband in prison, no one would expect Amy Winehouse to be looking her best. But even by her own standards, the award-winning singer appeared to be in particularly desperate shape. Heavy make-up failed to conceal the spots and scabs on her wrinkled cheeks, chin and nose. There were also angry red welts on her arms, leading to fears that she has started self-harming again.

Miss Winehouse’s spokesman has insisted she is suffering from the bacterial skin infection impetigo - which is highly contagious and can develop by repetitive scratching of a sore. He said the 24-year-old has been put on a course of antibiotics to clear it up. But friends fear the scabs on her face are a sign that her drinking and drug taking is once again spiralling out of control. Her love of junk food has also not helped the condition of her skin. She was pictured emerging from a fast-food outlet with fish and chips and a bottle of Lucozade. A source said: “Her friends are worried these sores have been caused by an excessive use of crack cocaine, which can cause these kind of blemishes.” Pete Doherty used to have similar sores under his nose.

When I was in London for six weeks, I found it nearly impossible to get a hold of any fruits or vegetables in restaurants. With the exception of ridiculous amounts of baked potatoes of course. But Amy Winehouse not eating a lot of fresh food doesn’t really come as a major surprise to me. The Daily Mail goes on to talk to a dermatologist who points out that whatever is going on inside the body shows on the skin. Any kind of imbalance – and certainly drug use – could show up there. It’s hard not to wonder how Amy can look in the mirror every morning and think her life is going well. She looks like she’s falling apart, and any health she gained during her brief trip to rehab seems to have left her a long time ago.

When Keith Richards gives you life advice, you listen. Why? Because he’s freaking Keith Richards. Stories about him are legendary. There is no way to ascertain the difference between truth and legend with this man – but I would wager 98% of what you hear about him is the truth. This was the man who was knocked unconscious – resulting in a pretty serious head injury – falling out of a coconut tree. And this was fairly recent, not during the Rolling Stone’s crazy glory days. Keith and Stones’ singer Mick Jagger were interviewed by the Mail, and Keith told them Amy Winehouse was the only singer he finds worth mentioning - but that she’ll be dead soon if she doesn’t change her ways.

Rolling Stone Keith Richards has revealed the only modern pop star he rates is troubled Amy Winehouse. But the guitarist - famous for his huge consumption of illegal drugs - warned that Amy, who was pictured recently smoking crack, “wouldn’t be around for long” unless she cleaned up her act. The Stones’ lead singer Mick Jagger also said Winehouse’s music would suffer because of the time she spent dealing with the authorities over drugs.

Asked which modern artists he rated, he said: “There’s only one person. That girl Amy [Winehouse]. Mind you, that girl isn’t going to be around long unless she sorts herself out pretty quick. Amy’s got to get smart.” Richards, 64, said he did not expect her to listen. He said: “I’m not a preacher. But I’ve been there and you have to pass it on.”

Jagger, also 64, spoke of the band’s trouble with the police over drugs in the Seventies. He said: “It completely took over our lives creatively and we couldn’t do this and couldn’t do that. You had to spend all your time trying to deal with the police. The same thing has happened to Amy Winehouse.”

Is this a case of the pot calling the kettle black, or is it more like, “Hey, when even Keith Richards is telling you to lay off, it’s probably something you should consider?” Probably a little of each. If nothing else, Keith is a great cautionary tale. Look at that man’s face. Tell me he doesn’t look 92, and I’ll tell you that you’re a damn liar. The man battled a coconut for God’s sakes. I realized I already mentioned that, but I’m a little hung up on it. It’s not your average occurrence. If nothing else, I’d guess that Keith Richards and Mick Jagger are probably musicians Amy respects. Maybe their advice will merit a bit of consideration for that reason.

I think we can officially give up the “Amy Winehouse may still be working on getting better” angle. The girl has definitely fallen off the wagon – though it’s not possible to know if she was ever really on it. Though she’s spent a good deal of time with her “sober companion” Blake Wood (or Good Blake as he’s known) clearly Blake’s influence hasn’t rubbed off on Amy – or perhaps she’s knock him off the wagon, who knows. Amy went out with a group of friends including Tyler James, Kelly Osbourne, Mark Ronson and Kimberly Stewart on Wednesday. When they got to Bungalow 8, someone sent the group 20 shots (thanks, whoever you are, for being part of the downfall). Amy then proceeded to light her shot on fire and snort it.

A source said: “Somebody had brought over 20 shots to Amy’s table and she decided to show off her new party trick. “She necked the top of the shot and lit the rest with a lighter. Then she grabbed a straw and sucked what was left up her nose. Amy threw back her head and reeled in shock and everyone around her looked stunned.”

Amy’s little trick is a version of what’s called a Gas Chamber. According to my extensive internet research, it involves one part vodka and one part Black Sambuca, each poured into a separate glass. You light the vodka with a match and put the other glass on top of it to create a “chamber,” making sure not to extinguish the flame. After a bit of the alcohol has burned off, a straw is placed between the glasses and you drink, continuing to suck the “gas” out of the “chamber” once the liquid is gone. It’s considered a pretty extreme way to take a shot, and that’s assuming a person is getting it through their mouth, not their nose like Amy did. It can easily be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. I’m thinking that between the impetigo/cigarette burn/Staph Aureus (who the hell really knows what it is at this point), the multiple severe addictions, the overdoses, and the husband in jail, the last thing Amy Winehouse needs is more alcohol chilling in her bloodstream. Considering the craziness of her lifestyle, you really can’t help but wonder how much longer she can go on like this.

I just can’t decide if Amy Winehouse’s life is getting much better, much worse, or staying about the same. And I feel that it’s really important for me to come to some sort of conclusion, so Amy can stop calling me every five minutes, anxiously awaiting my opinions about her life. The girl lives and dies by my thoughts, I swear. It’s a lot of responsibility to have on my shoulders, but I deal. I deal. Amy was seen out and about on the town last night with a very handsome, clean-cut, normal seeming young man, singer Tyler James. Who I first misread as my all time musical hero James Taylor, but luckily that’s not who she’s hanging out with.

Amy Winehouse stepped out with a clean-cut young man in London last night, raising hopes that she might yet dump her ‘Blake incarcerated’ and in turn increase the chances of kicking her drug habit. Amy was seen leaving her Camden home last night with clean-cut singer Tyler James to meet up with her celebrity pals at St Martin’s Lane hotel nightclub Bungalow 8. However, despite his presence the singer appears to be making a return to the increasingly chaotic lifestyle she led before checking into rehab for just two weeks.

It adds worrying credence to reports that she has lapsed back into her previous drug-fuelled lifestyle. After leaving the club, Amy and her pals drove back to her north London home and stopped off at the newsagents at after 4am for her usual supply of sweets and munchies.

The Mail goes on to make my decision for me, letting us know that Amy has pretty much fallen off the wagon, and will likely be ordered back into rehab by her record company. Which is probably a pretty good plan, since this time didn’t seem to take. I realize she’s got to want to do it, but I really don’t see that happening. I think the best anyone can hope for is minimizing the amount of drugs she’s on at any given moment. The Mail also cites a doctor who says Amy’s much talked about skin lesion/weird thing doesn’t look like impetigo as her agent claims, but appears to be a bruise. The doctor points out that could be an intentional or accidental injury, and that it’s certainly possible Amy fell in some sort of drug-induced… dizziness. Yesterday the internet was flying with the rumor that Amy had actually put a cigarette out on her cheek, which resulted in the bruise. Everything is just speculation, yet very little seems out of the realm of possibility. Still, if absolutely nothing else, the more time Amy spends with men that are not her husband, the better. That can only be a step up. Well, with the exception of Pete Doherty.

I love Celebrityville. It’s a little town I made up where all the stars live, and the laws of logic, normal behavior, and common decency do not apply. In Celebrityville, going to the E.R. to get your stomach pumped is checking in “for exhaustion.” Time spent at rehab for mainlining heroin is actually checking in to deal with some “personal issues.” And in Amy Winehouse’s case, getting hit in the face is actually some unknown exotic “skin infection.” At least according to her spokesman, who must by the mayor of Celebrityville by now. On Friday Amy was photographed with a bizarre… something… on her face. I don’t think there’s really a word to describe it. Rumors started flying that it’s a bruise and Amy must have gotten punched in a fight. While I’ve heard of people getting “a shiner” I didn’t think it was supposed to be so literal. Amy’s spokesman says it’s some kind of unknown skin infection. There are pictures of Amy from the day before, and her face looks completely normal. If it is an infection, it came on really, really fast.

Amy Winehouse has quashed rumors she was involved in a fight - putting her bruised and swollen face down to a mystery skin infection. The star fueled speculation she may have suffered a blow to the cheek after she was photographed on Friday (29Feb08) with a painful-looking swelling on the side of her face. But Winehouse’s official spokesman insists the singer has come down with a mystery illness and is seeking medical help. He tells British newspaper the Daily Star, “Amy has a skin infection which is why her face looks the way it does. At this stage she has no idea what it is but she’s getting to a doctor to try and identify the problem. “She’s not in any pain but, obviously, she wants to get it sorted as soon as possible.

It could legitimately be a skin infection. Whatever is on her face is definitely very odd looking, and certainly doesn’t resemble a classic bruise. However the odd appearance could be due to Amy’s attempt to cover it up. It’s really not possible to totally rule out some sort of “altercation.” Though there does appear to be some other mark closer to her jawline. According to several medical websites, intravenous drug use increases the chances of contacting several types of skin infections, and also makes it much harder for the body to fight them off. Logically, a person would think, “Clearly Amy Winehouse has a skin infection, because if she got punched in the face she would of course stay home to avoid the paparazzi.” And while a normal, healthy, logical person would do that, Amy Winehouse would not. This is a woman who wanders around bloody and barefoot… and not even on her worst day. That’s just a typical Wednesday afternoon. Considering all the health issues that Amy’s got going on, and the fact that she’s never struck me as a particularly rigid bather, I would really love it if she’d see another doctor… and take her damn finger out of her mouth.

Update: Amy Winehouse has been diagnosed with impetigo, according to her rep, and many of you pointed out in the comments that’s what it looks like. US Weekly quotes the Mayo clinic website as saying that “Although it commonly occurs when bacteria enter the skin through cuts or insect bites, it can also develop in skin that’s perfectly healthy. Impetigo is seldom serious, and minor infections may clear on their own in two to three weeks.”

Blake Fielder-Civil appeared in court yesterday to plead not guilty to the charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice (The wordy U.K. equivalent of witness-tampering). What’s notable about this appearance is that his devoted wife Amy Winehouse was not there to cheer on “my Blaaaake, incarcerated” like she usually does. Instead, Amy was getting settled in at her new apartment while spending time with her sober companion, Blake Wood.

Fielder-Civil, standing in the dock alongside three other men, also facing conspiracy charges, spoke only to confirm his name and enter the not guilty plea.

Grammy Award winner Winehouse, who recently spent time in rehab, has previously appeared in court to support her husband.

When he appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court in November, the singer blew kisses and mouthed: ‘I love you,’ to him in the court room.

But it was a very different scene today.

Wistfully staring towards the public seats, greasy and unshowered Fielder-Civil, wearing a grey sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms, ruffled his hair in apparent agitation.

After he and co-defendant James Kennedy, 19, from Hatfield made not guilty pleas for conspiring to pervert the course of justice Blake offered a rueful smile to the dock officer and kept glancing towards the public gallery.

While lawyers discussed the date and format of his trial Blake was visibly distracted turning round every time somebody came into court. By the end of proceedings as he was led from the dock he looked fed up.

People Magazine notes that Amy’s visits to “Blake, Incarcerated” are becoming less frequent.

Amy Winehouse failed to turn up to court in London Friday to see her husband Blake Fielder-Civil plead not guilty to charges stemming from a pub brawl.

Fielder-Civil’s mother Georgette, a fixture at his court dates, also did not appear.

The normally merry Fielder-Civil – dressed in a gray Gap sweatshirt and jeans – was subdued during the two-hour hearing. He pleaded not guilty to conspiring to pervert the course of justice, a charge which arose from his being accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a pub landlord in June 2006.

A source close to Winehouse says, “She’s a mess at the moment. I don’t think she’s visiting him much either.”

Fielder-Civil is allowed two visits per week while incarcerated. And because of Winehouse’s fame, the couple’s visits are no longer held in the prison’s communal area, which the source describes as “like a really nasty [cafeteria].”

Winehouse moved to a new apartment in London’s Camden neighborhood on Wednesday as a hearing on her and Fielder-Civil’s appeal of a fine for marijuana possession was postponed.

I would love to speculate that Amy is finally wising up about this manipulative little twit she calls a husband, but I don’t think that’s the case. Most likely, Amy was busy with moving and didn’t have time to haul her skinny butt all the way to the courthouse just to see “my Blaaaake” for, like, five minutes while he pled not guilty. She was photographed moving her stuff out of the old place and showed photographers a famed photo of her with Blaaaake, so I’m sure she is still pining away for him just like always.

Note by Celebitchy: There are rumors that Amy is doing drugs again, and she was recently photographed with scratches up and down her left arm, suggesting they may have been self-inflicted. She also caused a mess at her hotel room before the Brit Awards, with champagne bottles laying around, booze on the floor, and black hair dye in the tub. She even supposedly put a big mirror on the floor. Stay sober, Amy!
