I don’t really have strong feelings about Brooklyn Decker. I think it’s kind of funny that when she had long hair, every dude in America was like “Brooklyn Decker is the hottest thing on the planet” and as soon as she chopped off her long blonde locks into an unfortunate mom-style football-helmet style, all of a sudden dudes aren’t lusting after her. I also think she’s kind of dumb, but… she’s harmless. Anyway, Brooklyn is married to Andy Roddick, the tennis guy who I’ve also never really had strong feelings about. Do people still talk about him in regards to his game? He was pushed aside for Federer, and Federer is being pushed aside for Nadal. Only one golden boy at a time? Perhaps. Apparently, according to In Touch, Andy is still competing, and he wants Brooklyn to be a standard-issue tennis wife. The problem? Brooklyn’s career is blossoming, and she’s working steadily in films now. She doesn’t have the time or the inclination to just sit around and watch her husband.

It seems like Brooklyn Decker’s two-year marriage to Andy Roddick may be a losing match. According to an insider, tennis pro Andy, 29, isn’t too excited about his model-turned-actress wife’s exploding career, and it’s creating a big rift between them.

“Brooklyn is always traveling for her acting roles, and Andy is not happy about it,” the insider explains. “He seems to want her to follow him around like a good tennis wife.”

But Brooklyn, who is currently filming What to Expect When You’re Expecting in Atlanta with Jennifer Lopez, refuses to slow down – and is threatening to leave her controlling hubby.

“They are constantly fighting,” the insider adds, “and she has had enough.”

But, despite their problems, a close friend says they are not splitting and Brooklyn, 24, will be in the stands while Andy plays in the US Open in late August.

You know who they remind me of? Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds. Like, they’re rarely in the same city, they usually keep their marriage low-profile, they probably got married much to young (in Brooklyn and Scarlett’s cases, absolutely). Dual careers, with the women as the “bombshells” that other dudes lust after. And I do suspect that Roddick and Decker will end the same way as Ryan and Scar.

Maybe it’s all about the mom hair, though. Maybe Andy was like, “Girl, YOUR HAIR. I can’t even.” Or maybe Roddick should have just stuck with Mandy Moore. Mandy doesn’t have a lot going on, and I’m sure she would have loved to be a “tennis wife”.

Brooklyn Decker has been chosen as Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue’s cover girl. Brooklyn is mostly famous (in my mind) for being the wife of tennis player Andy Roddick, and I can’t even think of one major modeling contract Brooklyn has. I also seem to remember that Brooklyn used to have brown hair – I didn’t recognize her as a sunny blonde. As for the cover shot – well, it’s nice, I guess. She has a great figure. But is it just me, or have we seen this pose a million times before? That’s not Brooklyn’s fault – it’s Sports Illustrated’s fault. They should have chosen a less cliché pose for their cover shot.

For Brooklyn Decker, the next few months will bring a series of firsts.

The North Carolina-raised model, 22, is celebrating her first-ever time as the cover girl on the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – a spot she landed after five years of posing for the magazine.

“It’s shocking and a dream come true!” Decker told PEOPLE shortly after learning that her photo would grace this year’s cover.

Another first? Doing a round of talk show interviews to promote her prestigious job. “I’ve never been on one! I’m kind of freaking out,” she said before appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman Monday. “I’ve done news shows, but I’ve never done a big talk show.”

So how did her family react when they saw the photos of her clad in a yellow Delfina bikini? “My mom cried,” says Decker. The photos were shot in the Maldives by award-winning sports photographer Walter Iioos and inspired by ’80s and ’90s SI covers featuring Elle Macphereson and Rachel Hunter.

“We’re all on pins and needles before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly,” says Decker. “So it’s nice for my family because they don’t have to stress about it anymore.”

After the flurry of parties and media appearances – including spots on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ellen DeGeneres Show – Decker will take time for another very important first: Her 1-year wedding anniversary in April with tennis champ Andy Roddick, whom she says is 100-percent supportive of her latest accomplishment.

Asked if Roddick is even a little jealous that the men of America will soon be ogling his wife, Decker says: “No. He’s so proud. I think this gives him a one-up in the locker room for the next year or so.”

I wonder if that is difficult for a dude – knowing that a significant number of men are going to ogling (and masturbating to, let’s be honest) your wife. Something tells me that if Andy really gave it some thought, he wouldn’t be so understanding. But hey, maybe he gets off on that too. There are some guys who are like that.

Tennis star Andy Roddick married model Brooklyn Decker on Friday in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I was really hoping the headline would be “Andy marries Brooklyn in Brooklyn”, but alas, a Southern wedding was in the cards. The couple met in 2007 when Roddick’s agent contacted her agent – how romantic. Not exactly a “cute meet” but they seem happy. Roddick proposed to Brooklyn about a year ago, and the couple didn’t seem to be in any rush to marry. Perhaps because they’re so young? Andy is 26 years old, and Brooklyn is 21. US Magazine has more:

Tennis player Andy Roddick is officially off the market. The athlete, 26, wed his longtime girlfriend, Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker, 21, in an intimate ceremony Friday evening, Usmagazine.com has confirmed.

“It was really simple but beautiful,” a source tells Us. “Just close friends and family.”

Roddick and Decker exchanged platinum wedding bands by Tiffany & Co. during the ceremony, which included a performance by Elton John.

The nuptials were intended to be low-key without “a big Hollywood crowd as [Andy and Brooklyn are] not like that,” a source told Us prior to the event.

News of the Friday ceremony was first reported last week by the New York Post, who said Decker celebrated her upcoming wedding with bridesmaids during “a big bachelorette weekend” on April 11 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

“They just bounced around and had a great time,” added the paper.

The couple met in 2007 when Roddick asked his agent to contact Decker’s agent after seeing her in SI. He proposed to Decker in March 2008 but said they weren’t in any rush to walk down the aisle.

“With their hectic travel schedules, Andy and Brooklyn plan to enjoy their engagement,” said a statement posted on their Web site.

Sounds like a nice wedding. But what’s with celebrities never releasing information about the food, my favorite part of any wedding article? Anyway, they’re both very cute and wholesome-looking, and it’s the first marriage for both. Previously, Roddick dated the equally cute and wholesome-seeming Mandy Moore – if I remember correctly, I believe their managers set them up too. Does Andy not believe in meeting women in bars?
