Bringing new meaning to the circus surrounding her death, Anna Nicole made a video tape in which we get to see her vacant drug-addled expression enhanced by clown makeup. She’s eight months pregnant with Dannielynn at the time and doesn’t understand cameraman Howard’s repeated question “Is this a mushroom trip?” She also has some kind of baby doll in a stroller. Howard tells her “This footage is worth money,” and she answers in a baby voice “Why? What footage?”

Since she’s barely able to function, I wonder how she was able to paint her face in a reasonable semblance of a clown? She must have done that before the drugs kicked in.

While it’s not really shocking to see her whacked out of her mind while pregnant, the makeup really adds something to the “footage.”

Yesterday RadarOnline reported about this video, and said no one really wanted to have anything to do with it - not because it showed Anna pregnant and drugged out of her mind, but because there were questions as to who owned the copyright. The guy shopping it around claimed it fell off a truck. Fox News was apparently satisfied with his claim enough to air it.

Supposedly there’s parts of the tape where Anna talks about how she wanted to die the first time she gave birth:

Radar has seen the video—intended for Smith’s blog, but never posted—which features the onetime Playboy Playmate discussing her fears about her impending childbirth a week before she entered the hospital. In it, she slurs that she suffered such a difficult ordeal giving birth to her first child—her ill-fated son, Daniel—that she “wanted to die.”

We’re sure to see the rest of this already annoying video in the days, probably hours, to come. We’ve already seen Anna having a C-Section, what else is left to gawk at? I wouldn’t be surprised to see a sex tape shot by Howard of Anna and the Bahamian immigration minister, who has since resigned his position in shame and probably doesn’t have much more to lose at this point.

I mean, I seriously can hold my breath while driving down I-45 from Dallas to Houston and pass by Mexia with air to spare (I also do this with Waverly, Texas). Mexia is so small, that if you miss the exit, get ready to drive a few miles more to make a U turn. This little town is recalcitrant to admit that Anna even set foot into their little city.

“Anna Nicole is not somebody we consider one of our own, one of the great citizens we’re proud of,” said the Rev. Marcus Sheffield, pastor of First Baptist Church, who did not know Smith. “If people connect her with what Mexia is, I’m not proud of that.”

You hear so much about how she met her past husband at the Jim’s Krispy Fried Chicken, it really makes you want to go there (for the legs or breasts, zing!).

And just in case you missed the first snub, Mexia residents want you to really know, they could give a rat’s ass about ANS (as I am sure all of you are sick of hearing her dominate the blogs as well).

Although Smith has died, locals doubt that any signs or tributes will go up in her honor.

“I don’t think that will be done,” said Linda Archibald, the Mexia Chamber of Commerce executive director.

Nan Capers, a former Mexia teacher, did not have Smith in her classes and barely remembers her.

Like many locals, Capers is not thrilled by Smith and her shenanigans.

Even if Anna Nicole Smith didn’t cause her own death, she sure was prepared for it. She was working with a seamstress to create a custom dress for her funeral, at least according to the suspicious word of her supposed lover and ex lawyer, Howard K Stern. One of Anna’s lawyers said that Howard told him that Anna was obsessed with death after her son Daniel passed and wanted to have her dress ready for her last special occasion just in case:

Her son’s death apparently led Smith to morbid thoughts of her own demise. Attorney Ron Rale said Stern had told him that Smith had been working with a seamstress on a dress for her own funeral.

“There’s a dress Anna Nicole had, the dressmaker had been preparing a dress,” Rale said.

The legal wranglings over who has control over Anna’s body and how many additional DNA samples will be obtained in Larry Birkhead’s paternity suit for her daughter continue. Another mouth swab was ordered for DNA from her body, which has been at the Broward County, Florida morgue since she died on February 8th. Anna’s estranged mother and the executor of her will, Howard K Stern, are battling over who has control of her final resting place, but beauty-conscious Anna will finally be embalmed.

The judge a jam-packed Florida hearing noted that she was always concerned about her appearance in life and that her wishes should be honored in death. Judge Larry Seidlin said “”We want to show respect and dignity to the body of Ms. Smith. Beauty was important to her. She wants to look beautiful and we want to make sure that occurs.”

And with that in mind he ordered that her body finally be embalmed and no further DNA be taken. Birkhead is concerned about the integrity of the samples from Smith’s body, and was assured that all samples were kept in a locked refrigerator.

It’s unlikely that Smith will be buried in the next week or so, though. Her mother wants to take her back to Texas while the executor of her estate, Howard K Stern, wants to bury her according to her supposed wishes in a plot next to her son.

Other crazy details in the Anna Nicole Smith death saga continue to come out. There’s another potential baby daddy that seems even less likely, and Prince Von Asshat has filed an official paternity suit. Meanwhile her hairdress says she had very bad stomach pains and that she popped pain pills, causing her to pass out while she was getting her hair cut in the mid 90s.

What else would you like to know about this woman? I for one would like to see her buried into obscurity pretty damn soon.

According to the latest Star magazine, five month-old Dannielynn was not in the Bahamas with a friend throughout her mother’s stay in Florida and was indeed in her hotel suite when she died. When Howard K Stern got word that Anna had died, he is said to have immediately arranged for the baby and a caregiver to be whisked back to the Bahamas to avoid a controversy, and perhaps to maintain custody of the infant:

Star reports that immediately after Anna Nicole’s death, media outlets reporter that her 5-month old daughter had been in the Bahamas the day her mother passed away. But that may not be the case.

Another source tells Star exclusively, “I have heard Dannielynn was at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with Anna and Howard – and that when Howard received the panicked phone call about Anna being stricken, he orchestrated having the baby and a nurse removed immediately from the hotel, sending them out on a flight back to Nassau!”

Star also gives this blow-by-blow from the website: It was 1:38 p.m. on Feb. 8 when Anna Nicole Smith’s private nurse, Tasma Brighthaupt, discovered the blonde bombshell collapsed in Suite 607 of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Brighthaupt immediately called a hotel operator to report that Smith was in dire need of help.

The nurse also called Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole’s lawyer and lover, who was 20 minutes away checking out a yacht that he and Smith were in the process of buying. They planned to call the boat Cracker, Anna’s pet name for her deceased son, Daniel. Yet it wasn’t until just before 1:45 p.m., almost seven minutes after Smith was discovered, that someone finally called 911.

So -why the delay? Was Dannielynn really in Florida?

The delay in calling 911 seems to have been because Anna was prone to these type of drug-induced comas and they probably wanted to make sure it was absolutely necessary before getting authorities involved, which would lead to publicity.

If Dannielynn was there she hopefully didn’t see anything. She is so little she’s not likely to remember but it still seems traumatic, even if she didn’t really know that Anna was her mom, as Anna’s former nanny has stated.

Meanwhile there’s a report that wrappers for opiate painkiller suppositories were found in Anna’s room. Wrappers for a generic form of Dilaudid were found, an overdose of which could result in respiratory arrest.

The more I hear in this Anna Nicole story, the more realize she really wasn’t someone I could have much sympathy for, or even give a shit about. She was so delusional that, according to her former nanny, she ordered that her baby be underfed so that the infant would be “sexy.”

Her former nanny gave a sworn statement before Anna died, saying she was concerned for the baby’s welfare in so unstable a home and with an absent, erratic mother.

Anna insisted Dannielynn be fed only 2.5 ounces of formula every three hours instead of the standard 3 ounces because she was obsessed with her tiny daughter being “sexy.” She didn’t seem concerned for any other aspect of Dannielynn’s health or well being, though, and apart from strictly monitoring her food intake she wasn’t around much.

The nanny said that Anna spent barely any time with her daughter, preferring instead to be locked up for hours in her bedroom with the Bahamian immigration minister, or sleeping off her drug-induced haze and waking up in a foul mood.

Other caregivers included the friend and mother of Anna’s special favor’s lover, the bahamian immigration minister. Anna couldn’t be bothered to be around Dannielynn much, but she did tell the nanny that she would shoot her if she heard her daughter call her “mummy.”

Anna was also seen downing an entire bottle of sleeping medication, after which she laid in a coma for 48 hours and was surprised to wake up, telling the nanny she meant to kill herself. She also tried to drown herself in the pool, and once she was rescued by Howard he told her that he would get arrested if she died.

The nanny was ultimately fired after less than three months when Anna, in a drugged fit, accused her of losing the user’s manual to a new washing machine.

Other salacious details in the Anna Nicole Smith case include the fact that she had a doctor friend prescribe her methadone and demerol under a false name right before she gave birth to tragic Dannielynn. She had the drugs delivered to her in the Bahamas. She was friends with the prescribing doctor and was seen riding a convertible with him in a gay pride parade in 2005.

Our friends at Gabsmash point out that methadone is a liquid and that no pills were found in Anna’s stomach. Toxicology reports are pending, and it’s probable that she died of a methadone overdose.

The National Enquirer reports on Anna’s last drug-filled days, saying she was spiraling out of control after the death of her son Daniel. She smoked crack (they say cocaine, but I’m assuming it’s crack if she smoked it, my drug knowledge is limited), accused Howard of trying to kill her, never ate and was basically a mess:

An insider even claims they heard her outrageously yell at Howard: ‘I don’t want to see you again - you’re trying to kill me!’

“Howard never used drugs but Anna smoked cocaine every single day.

“She’d smoke the cocaine and 10 or 15 minutes later she would be a changed person, very animated and talking loudly.

“Sometimes she would smoke too much - and took pills to bring her down.”

The insider added, “Many times she was so drugged that she fell, often hurting herself. She frequently vomited on the floor and soiled her bed. She hardly ate, just smoked cocaine and drank fruit juice.”

This woman seems to have wanted to die. In fact, The Bastardly reports that Anna told FHM in a 2004 interview that she was involved in so many projects that “I’m probably gonna die at 37 like Marilyn.”

Anna Nicole Smith was an addict and a negligent mother. The people surrounding her, with the exception of the help, enabled her drug use. That seems to have been at Anna’s insistence, though. She may have been out of it but she didn’t hesitate to dump Larry Birkhead when he told her not to do drugs while she was pregnant with what he assumed was his baby.

Anna’s body is now in legal limbo. It has been released from Larry Birkhead’s court ruling that it be held until February 20 pending ruling on his paternity case, but now both Anna’s mother and Howard K Stern, the executor of her estate, are fighting over burial rights.

Little Dannielynn is still under Howard K Stern and his mother and sister’s care in that squatter estate in the Bahamas. She’s the real tragedy in the case.

As the Anna Nicole story has even more twists and turns, I’m trying to decide if I give a shit anymore. Of course her body is unburied amid issues over who has control over the burial and two different court orders demanding Anna stick around until further rulings on DNA testing for Dannielynn’s paternity. It will probably hang around for weeks while the court cases drag on, rivalling her son’s record of 39 days between death and burial, and James Brown’s wait for a final resting place of 50 days and counting.

Anna’s mom Virgie Arthur has hired a Florida-based lawyer to try to get Anna’s body released for burial as soon as possible. Larry Birkhead’s court rulings prevent the corpse from being buried before a further ruling on February 20th. Arthur supports Birkhead’s paternity claim and it seems like she would want to work along with him in his quest to get DNA from Anna’s body. Also vying for Anna’s body are her lawyers. They told Birkhead that they would give him DNA from Anna if he would release the body, but they won’t give him the baby’s DNA and don’t seem to have much clout in the matter compared to her mother

Her mother is also trying in her trash-talking way to gain control of the half-billion dollar baby Anna barred her from seeing while she was still able to do so. She obtained an injunction from a Bahamian court that prevents Howard K Stern from leaving the country with the tot and filed a complaint with police that the baby is not safe in Howard’s custody.

Anna’s estranged mom said she didn’t want control of Dannielynn, but that she didn’t want Howard K Stern to have her, either. She said she thinks Larry Birkhead is the father and that he should be caring for the girl. A friend of Anna’s mom said “There’s two common denominators in the deaths of her daughter and her grandchild - drugs and Howard K. Stern,” which seems to explain why she doesn’t think the baby is safe in his care.

Meanwhile the 911 tapes have been released, and are rather boring. No one seems particularly excited or distraught over the fact that Anna is unresponsive, and the 911 operator isn’t impressed when told that she’s responding to a call for Anna Nicole Smith.

And a traffic ticket in which Larry Birkhead explained his speeding to a police officer by saying “I got a call from my pregnant girlfriend, she’s sick,” may be just the evidence he needs in his paternity case for Dannielynn. The officer actually wrote down “wife,” instead of girlfriend, and Birkhead’s spontaneous response may be seen as evidence that he believes he’s the father and is not just in it for the money.

I really thought that the Anna Nicole Smith tale could not get any stranger, but I was wrong. It turns out she was involved with a heroin trafficking diet doctor in the late 90s who got sent off to federal prison right around the time Howard K. Stern entered the picture. Bear with me as this side story is complicated in itself. The guy was an Iranian-born Swedish citizen who went by Dr. Ben Khan and was a “dietician” to the stars. His real name was Ben Buicksson, and he had a side career as a mobster drug trafficker who dealt in heroin.

Dr. Ben was wanted in Italy for a 1990 charge of smuggling heroin. He fled to Sweden and then ended up in Beverly Hills where he set up shop and hooked up with Anna. Anna started hanging out with lawyer Howard K. Stern in February, 1997 when Dr. Ben was suddenly nabbed by the feds for that 1990 charge in Italy. He spent ten years in a federal detention center in LA before being deported to Sweden just one month ago. Rumor has it that he was able to run his drug business from jail, and that may have contributed to his deportation, although I’m just speculating.

Anyway while his plane was on route to Sweden it had to stop off in Rome for a refueling, and the Italian police, likely tipped off by the feds, forced their way onto the plane and nabbed the guy so he could serve the ten years he owed them!

Anna was with Dr. Ben right around the time she met Howard K Stern, and credited him with helping her lose a ton of weight in the late 90s. It seems she went back to a tried a true method to break her food addiction by turning to the heroin substitute methadone most recently - with Howard K Stern supplying her in Dr. Ben’s stead. (No offense to Trimspa, they just picked a terrible spokesperson, although they’re getting a lot of mileage out of it.)

Did Howard K Stern turn in Dr. Ben? Probably, just like he is thought to have convinced Anna to ditch Larry Birkhead and move to the Bahamas with him while she was pregnant.

Celebrity photo agency Celebrities.com, which tells this sordid tale, offers the conspiracy theory that Dr. Ben was outraged at being turned in by Stern and that his seizure by Italian police reopened old wounds. They say he may have had a hand in Anna’s death by sending one of his minions to do the deed. That’s doubtful, but it is an interesting story from her past, and gives even more insight as to the craziness she was involved in and the lengths that slug Howard K Stern went to in order to keep her in his clutches.

Now a fifth potential father of deceased Anna Nicole Smith’s sole heir, Dannielynn Smith, has thrown his hat into the ring. Anna’s hot but dumb former bodyguard, Alexander Denk, (not the one who was with her when she died) says he had a two year affair with her after he was hired to play the chef on The Anna Nicole Show and subsequently became her bodyguard. He told the tabloid news program Extra that “there’s always a possibility” that he’s Dannielynn’s father when the interviewer directly questioned him about it.

He didn’t sound convinced to me, but he’s hired a Beverly Hills lawyer to represent him in yet another suit claiming paternity of the 1/2 billion dollar baby.

Other potential fathers include Anna’s ex boyfriend, Larry Birkhead, her lawyer turned creepy confidant, Howard K Stern, (who now has possession of the baby at the couple’s squatter mansion in the Bahamas), Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt, and Anna’s long-deceased second husband, oil billionaire J Howard Marshall. Anna’s half-sister claimed that Anna wanted to freeze his sperm so that she could get pregnant with his baby and cinch her claim on his hundreds of millions. I doubt that Anna had the foresight or ability to plan all that out, but it’s a remote possibility.

Prince Von Asshat is the wild card, and it’s generally assumed that he’s claiming paternity to seek publicity for some reason.

And it’s possible that none of these guys is the father, as Anna was said to have used male hookers around the time that Dannielynn was conceived.

Anna’s Austrian bodyguard lover said that she suffered from what the interviewer called “life threatening seizures” that she was on medication for. He said in the preview available of his interview on the Extra website that he didn’t believe she died from drugs and that she was just “exhausted.”

Anna’s secret medical condition was not revealed, and I’m not sure if the buff bodyguard knows what it’s called exactly. I did look up the complications from too much methadone, and they include seizures, so it’s possible she was just occasionally suffering from too much of the stuff that helped her slim down so quickly.

Intentional or accidental overdose of methadone can lead to unconsciousness, coma, or death. The signs of methadone overdose include confusion, difficulty speaking, seizures, severe nervousness or restlessness, severe dizziness, severe drowsiness, and/or slow or troubled breathing. These symptoms are increased by alcohol or other central nervous system (CNS) depressants.

It’s not so much of a stretch to assume that’s what caused Anna’s death, but with so many crazy details in this case it’s hard to know what to believe.

Meanwhile pictures have surfaced of Anna canoodling with the Bahamiam immigration minister who fast-tracked her residency application, and Anna’s final footage with Dannielynn is set to air on Entertainment Tonight.

TMZ has obtained photos from inside Anna Nicole’s fridge in the suite where she died. She had Slimfast products right beside Trimspa, for which she was the spokesperson. The real secret of Anna’s quick slim-down was also in her fridge, methadone.

The refrigerator, which was inside Anna Nicole’s bedroom in the Bahamas, contained methadone (5 mg per 5 ml). The small refrigerator contained cans of Slim-Fast– ironic, since Smith was TRIMSPA’s spokesperson. Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge.

The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for “today’s active lifestyle”), French’s Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials of injectable medicines.

Methadone was one of a deadly cocktail of drugs found in her son Daniel’s system when he died. It was said to have been supplied to him by Howard K. Stern, who some have called Anna’s “dealer.”

Anna is said to have had recent surgery to repair one of her breast implants. It is unknown whether that contributed to her death or to the flu-like symptoms that preceeded it.

TMZ also reports that the coroner said no alcohol was found in her stomach, and that her stomach did not smell like alcohol despite hotel bar patrons’ reports that she was pounding down shots on the night of her death. The coroner is also said to have disputed the earlier story that some of the prescriptions in the room were in Howard K. Stern’s name. He said that all drugs found were all in Anna’s name.

In case you’re worried that we’ll soon be subjected to leaked photos of Anna Nicole’s bloated corpse, there’s a law in Florida that was enacted after Dale Earnhardt’s death that is supposed to shield us from seeing those pictures.

Oh, and the headstone on Anna’s son’s grave is for some other person. She supposedly put it there to keep her mother from visiting her grandson Daniel’s grave.

Howard K. Stern’s behavior in the hours after Anna’s death may be considered odd by some, but it’s not much of a change from what he was doing before Anna died. Instead of flying back to the Bahamas where the infant daughter of his supposed lover was staying with his family, he sailed back on a new boat he recently purchased with Anna. Once in the Bahamas, he promptly snatched back the mansion that Anna borrowed from a peeved ex boyfriend.

He also got paid big bucks for his first exclusive interview after her death.

Howard and Anna had just purchased a 40 foot sport yacht they called “The Cracker,” which they were in the process of outfitting with flat screen TVs and fabrics selected by an interior decorator. The last owner of the ten year-old boat said that Anna like the fact that there were two bedrooms. Instead of flying from Florida to the Bahamas, Stern sailed back on that new boat. It seems odd to me, but he may have wanted the solitude.

The high-paid interview
People are ripping on Stern for selling his story right after Anna died by submitting to an interview with Entertainment Tonight to be aired tonight, and undoubtedly dragged out over the week. This is no different from Anna and Howard’s behavior after Daniel’s death, in which they sold his last pictures to a photo agency. In fact Anna and Howard held a “commitment ceremony” in order to sell the pictures before they could even be bothered to bury Daniel, who was finally laid to rest 39 days after his death.

Howard told ET that he wouldn’t let Anna’s mom, who is now in the Bahamas, even see her grandchild, and said “As long as I have a breath in my body, that woman will not see Dannielynn.”

He was said to be upset and crying a lot, but that didn’t stop him from cashing in on her death right away.

Snatching back the borrowed mansion
After Anna’s death, G. Ben Thompson, the rightful owner of the mansion where she was squatting in the Bahamas before she went to Florida to defend her daughter’s paternity, had the locks changed on his estate. It appears he had no legal right to do this, as Stern promptly had them changed back and filed a complaint with police over missing items, which included computers and art in the house.

The wedding scheduled for two weeks out
In the interview with ET, it is casually mentioned that Howard and Anna were playing a real for-keeps wedding that was to happen just two weeks after Anna died. It could just be a coincidence that Anna died before that wedding happened, or maybe she was trying to avoid it, subconsciously or not.
