Ashley Greene: “Now I’m in this realm with a lot of highly respected actresses”

Ashley Greene covers the March issue of Lucky Mag to promote, I don’t know, her role in a five episodes of “Pan Am”? Of course, she wasn’t terribly popular on that set, and the show is probably going to get cancelled anyway, which is a terrible waste of star power considering that Greene has called herself the next Angelina Jolie.

Naturally, the Lucky journalist had no idea what to do with Greene, so the interview focuses primarily on her role as Alice Cullen in The Twilight Saga. Yet sadly, I’ve omitted most of those paragraphs because consist mostly of Lucky’s characterization of Alice as a huge, “major” role in the franchise that could never have been portrayed by any other actress. Really? I won’t go there except to say that Alice is pretty interchangeable in the films and really isn’t a demanding role, but neither are any of the other characters in the franchise. In the interview, Ashley namedrops her Butter makeout session with Olivia Wilde because any form of sensationalism is all that Ashley has at this point in her career. And she’ll gladly remind you that her career is on an upswing since the end of Twilight too:

On Her Craft: “I won’t lie, there are times when I’m like, ‘Why is this so hard?’ You come off a high like Twilight and then you get dropped back down to reality. Twilight has given me something to skyrocket off of, But now that it’s ending, there’s so much work to be done. And if I don’t do it, then Twilight‘s all I’m ever going to be known for, as great as it is.”

She’s Leading Lady Material: “Basically I went from ‘dying to get a gig’ to ‘dying to get the gig that everyone wants,’ so now I’m in this realm with a lot of highly respected actresses, which is an amazing place to be, but also kind of terrifying. I mean, I think I’m doing all right, but the main focus is trying to solidify my spot in Hollywood.”

On Her Start: “My mother put me in modeling classes because I had low self-esteem. I was friends with older people, so I was always around someone more mature who boys responded to. I think that kind of messed with me. She never actually wanted me to be a model; she just wanted me to feel good about myself. But then there was a chain reaction. All of a sudden I wanted to be an actor, and of course, my mother was like, ‘Oh, great, what did I do?’ When I took the modeling classes in Florida, they had us walk in crazy heels and do the whole runway thing. And actually? That’s been very helpful, because I can walk and run in pretty much anything! And they will have you run in heels in films, as ridiculous as it sounds.”

She’s No Lohan: “I was like ‘Oh, I can go out and do this and do that,’ and it took me about five seconds to realize ‘If you do that, you’re not going to book jobs, and there are 10,000 girls who want your job.’ It’s all glitz and glamour in Hollywood, and you want to be part of it. And the deadly thing is that you meet people who do have the money and do have fame and are in a position to not spend every waking moment working toward getting a job, and it’s easy to feel like you can do it too, when really you haven’t earned it. You can either socialize or you can study your script, and luckily I learned that pretty quick!”

On Makes Out With Olivia Wilde in Butter: “It wasn’t that awkward. It’s the same idea when you’re having to kiss a male costar and it’s not real. Olivia is such a cool chick and very professional. So we were just messing around and cracking up in between scenes, and it ended up being really fun. And now I’m the envy of every straight male everywhere!”

[From Lucky Mag]

Well, the producers of Butter really hit the casting nail on the head by letting two famewhores paw at each other. Other than that, Ashley probably won’t be around in Hollywood for very long. In a few years, Ashley will be much less like the next incarnation of Jolie and much more like Jessica Biel, and she’ll be talking about how she auditions for everything but never gets the roles that she really wants.

Ashley Greene in leather and lace DKNY: pretty or very dated?

At last night’s People’s Choice Awards we saw the leather and lace trend rear its hideous head again. Several of you actually liked the ruffled leather and lace Valentino dress that Jessica Alba wore to a Globes party and said that it would have worked with different accessories and styling. I thought the dress was ugly in and of itself, but this is obviously a fashion trend that’s trying to stick.

Here we have Ashley Greene, in leather and lace DKNY that isn’t quite as ugly as Alba’s dress yesterday. It’s a more formfitting dress, and it also has a ridiculous ruffle at the hem. The lace neckline on this dress looks very similar to the dress I wore to my junior prom in 1990. It’s dated, it’s fug, but I’ll be damned in Ashley doesn’t look hot for the early 90s. She’s bringing back a lot of memories for me. Her hair and makeup are excellent and very polished, but would it kill her to try and hide the smug a little?

Here’s “Pretty Little Liars’” Lucy Hale, who didn’t get the memo that the flash-in-the-pan mullet dress trend is over. She’s wearing Cengiz Abazoglu with Sutra earrings and a Baccarat ring. She’s so pretty and this dress is so fug it’s distracting. Look at these ridiculous platform slingbacks. “Pretty Little Liars” won for favorite cable TV drama. (I saw a few episodes of the first season, but it just got too complicated for me.)

Also from “Pretty Little Liars” is Ashley Benson in a goofy, poofy white A-line dress with a black tulle underlay. The waist is too high, the dress looks very young, and the style does nothing for her. She looks so lovely on TV and really could have shone with some more adult styling. Her hair looks too young to me too. She’s 22, there’s no excuse for this.

I’m throwing in my girl Busy Phillips because I just love to see her. She usually doesn’t rock the red carpet, but she always looks thrilled to be there. I love the cut and style of this dress but the earrings and shoes are all wrong.

Update: here’s Kristen Bell, also in leather and lace but Valentino. I was originally going to add her to this post, but then I saw that she was at the premiere of The Grey last night in this same dress and I got confused. She actually wore it to both events. This look works for me. The skirt is A-line, not ruffled, the lace is subtle and hidden under a sheer overlay, and it’s sleeveless. Her hair is a little listless, but I like how understated her makeup is. I’m probably giving her a pass because she’s so nice.

Ashley Greene was a total bitch when she deigned to film episodes for ‘Pan Am’

These are photos of Ashley Greene from late November in NYC, when she was filming several episodes of ABC’s budget-Mad Men show, Pan Am. Funny story about Pan Am – they stopped airing the show in December, and ABC claims that they’ll finish airing the season in January, but after that, it’s looking more and more like the show is being canceled. Anyway, before Pan Am’s producers figured out that ABC wasn’t going to support the show for very much longer, the producers decided to hire world-famous movie star Ashley Greene to “guest star” in a three-episode arc. The same Ashley Greene who is a legend in her own mind, and who conjures a litany of “WHO?” from great swathes of non-Twihards. So, with that in mind, enjoy this story of Ashley acting like a C-U-Next-Tuesday while deigning to grace a peasanty television show.

The skies aren’t so friendly with Ashley Greene around! Greene is ruffling feathers on the set of Pan Am – clashing with cast and crew during filming of her three-episode arc on the struggling TV show.

“Ashley came rolling on to the set acting like a queen bee,” an insider tells Star. “She was stuck-up with the crew and acted like appearing on TV amounted to slumming. She referred to herself as a ‘real movie star,’ and said she was sure her guest stint would boost ratings.”

And while she publicly gushed about guest-starring on the ABC drama, Ashley was completely cold to her costars.

“Ashley didn’t want to socialize with Christina Ricci or Kelli Garner, the stars of the show,” the source says. “They had organized a welcome lunch for Ashley, but she blew them off. That was extremely off-putting to everyone.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

“She referred to herself as a ‘real movie star’.” << That’s what sealed it for me. That sounds like Ashley. She probably couched it in something equally terrible too, like, “Oh, I expected more from craft services, but then I get treated so well on all of the films that I’m starring in. Because I’m a real movie star, you know.” I would compare her to Gwyneth Paltrow, but I have to admit – I don’t even think Dame Gwyneth is this bad.

PS… The combination of costume, hair and makeup just proves that Ashley really isn’t that pretty. To me, at least. She only looks good at certain angles, and with a certain hairstyle.

Ashley Greene in Donna Karan & Narciso Rodriguez: bland, fug or pretty?

wenn3614312

This should show you just how dull and boring it is today, gossip-wise. I’m doing a post about Ashley Greene. Just my opinion: Ashley Greene only deserves her own post when she’s saying something dumb or wearing something especially hideous. Her styles for the Breaking Dawn publicity tour have been neither mind-blowingly awesome or completely awful. Much like Ashely herself, her style is just kind of there. Oh, and yes, she’s the newest face of Donna Karan, sorry I didn’t realize that before, Ashley-loonies (for why?). That’s why Ashley has been wearing so much Donna Karan lately – she’s the newest face of the brand. God knows how she even got that gig – could most people honestly pick Greene out of a lineup of bland brunette actresses? She’s like the budget Jessica Biel, and Biel is already a pretty budget version of the “bland brunette” type.

Anyway, enough of my bitching (whippersnappers!). Here are photos from two Breaking Dawn events – Ashley wore the black-and-white Donna Karan to a screening in NYC, and she wore the orange-red Narciso Rodriguez to the Toronto premiere. At first, I kind of liked the Donna Karan one, but that cut at the waist is really throwing me off. I know Ashley is always at the gym, but seeing her stomach muscle cast its own shadow is unsettling. I really liked her styling with that look, though – not so much with the Narciso look. Her hair was too tight, giving her a bird-like appearance. But the dress is cute.

Ashley has been getting a lot face-time on red carpets for Breaking Dawn. Usually, no one pays attention to her, but she got to tour Europe with Sparkles, and now she’s being sent off to more cities to represent the Twilight brand. I’m sure she thinks it’s because she’s so awesome, but really it’s because Kristen Stewart is stuck filming Snow White in England, and she couldn’t get away.

Ashley Greene in red Donna Karan: unflattering or pretty?

wenn3610558

As I’m sure you heard, last night was the Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere in Hollywood. Before I even considered covering Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s appearance on the red carpet, I had to make room for the true STARS of the franchise, the two actors who think that they could play the leads better than Robert Pattinson and K-Stew, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. I love both of them. They’re both delusional.

wenn3610543

Ashley wore this red Donna Karan that I really, really dislike on her. It’s not that the dress is matronly – it’s not, really – but I still feel like this isn’t a “young” enough look for such a young woman. I think Ashley is really trying to get a contract with Donna Karan, though. She’s been wearing a lot of DK for the Breaking Dawn promotional tour. I also think Ashley might not get first (or even second) pick of all of the new clothes. Poor Ashley. Also: is her lip color too matchy with her dress? In some photos, it looks good, but in others, she looks like a brunette Barbie.

wenn3611016

Is it just me, or does Kellan Lutz looks slightly LESS serial killer-esque with dark hair? Kellan Lutz has gone back and forth on Kellan Lutz’s hair. On one side, Kellan Lutz is a Kellan Lutzy blonde. On the other side, Kellan Lutz likes to mix it up, Kellan Lutz-style. Kellan Lutz also brought his Kellan Lutzy girlfriend to the premiere. Her name is Sharni Vinson, and she has bangs trauma, and she loves the spotlight just as much as Kellan Lutz. KELLAN LUTZ! PS…Kellan Lutz is happy this week because The Immortals was such a smashing success, and that’s all because of KELLAN LUTZ. People came for The Lutz.

Kristen Stewart in Marios Schwab: very cute or too short for squatting?

twillight_handprint_12_wenn5749523

Yesterday, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were all on hand at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre to immortalize their hand and foot prints, in honor of Twilight. Kristen’s dress is Marios Schwab – why do girls wear super-short dresses when they know they’re going to be photographed squatting or bending over? I don’t get it. Anywa, I tried to find and crop some photos of Sparkles and Kristen looking at each other lovingly, but those were kind of hard to find. I suppose in addition to Kristen’s multitude of personality quirks and physical twitches, you’re also going to tell me that she OF COURSE has some kind of extreme light sensitivity, because in nearly all of the photos, she’s shielding her eyes from the sun, squinting unattractively or just closing her eyes. I would think that the sun was just really, really bright, but both Taylor and Sparkles managed to get through the ceremony without ruining every photo with their “light sensitivity”.

But! There are still enough photos of Sparkles gazing lovingly as his beloved for me to think that they’re still together. I don’t think they’ll stand the test of time or even last much longer than a year more, but for now, they’re still together. I had been wondering about their couple status because Sparkles had been doing Breaking Dawn promotion with Ashley Greene, and that girl looked like she was ready to jump on some sparkle-dong. That’s what Star Mag’s story says this week – that Ashley is trying to get with Sparkles, and Kristen “ordered” Sparkles to avoid Ashley like the whore plague.

While Kristen Stewart has been busy filming Snow White and the Huntsman in Wales, her Twilight costar has been getting close to her longtime love, Robert Pattinson.

“Now that Kristen’s gone, Ashley Greene is making moves on Rob,” an insider tells Star. The pair have been getting cozy while promoting Breaking Dawn: Part 1 abroad. And Rob isn’t exactly pushing Ashley away.

“His ego is getting stroked big time by Ashley – and he loves it!” says the insider, revealing that the on-screen brother and sister shared several intimate evenings together. “They have been on romantic dates, just the two of them. Ashley is forward – she made it known that she wants something more than a friendship.”

But Kristen isn’t turning a blind eye to Ashley’s advances.

“Kristen has warned Rob to keep his distance from Ashley and she’s furious with him for not obeying,” says the source. “Rob swears there is nothing going on, but Kristen is so upset that she’s saying she may dump him for good.”

[From Star Magazine, print edition]

I doubt Ashley is Sparkles type – yes, if we judge his taste in ladies from Kristen, we know he likes brunette bitches, which Ashley definitely fits. But we can also tell that he likes girls with some twitches, with some insecurities, which Ashley doesn’t have. Ashley is the closest thing to raw ambition out there. She doesn’t have time to twitch.

Fergie versus Ashley Greene: who looked better at the Avon event?

wenn3589500

Here are some photos from last night’s Avon Foundation Awards Gala. I’m only featuring Fergie and Ashley Greene, because those are the only two ladies at the event I really bothered to care about. First up: Fergie, in this pale pink dress with a sparkly jacket. The outfit is kind of meh – the pink washes her out, but it’s a pretty dress on its own. The jacket is cute too, but not with the dress. Do I have to again bitch about designers not making enough long-sleeved dresses these days?

wenn3589506

But really, let’s talk about everything from the neck up on Fergie. We’ve discussed her alleged plastic surgery, which is ALLEGEDLY in the hundreds of thousands of dollars at this point. I’m think she’s gotten a little more done recently, because she’s looking freshly tweaked to me. But does she look better than she used to? That’s always difficult for me to talk about with Fergie, because she is spending a lot of money to transform herself into a pretty standard-issue-looking blonde Hollywood girl. She has such a great voice, and I wish she didn’t feel the need to give herself such an extreme makeover.

wenn3589521

wenn3589491

Next up: Ashley Greene in Donna Karan. Bitch thinks she’s Dita Von Teese, and she’s really not. I think the dress looks really cheap on her, and her hair is just wrong. You have to actually BE Dita to make this look work. On Ashley, it falls flat.

Ashley Greene in L’Wren Scott, with Sparkles: budget or beautiful?

twillight_fan_event_01_wenn5745340

Earlier this week, Ashley Greene and Robert Pattinson were in Paris, promoting Breaking Dawn Part I – CB had the story here. These are new pics of Ashley & Sparkles in Brussels, Belgium, still on promotional duty. I guess it’s noteworthy that Sparkles is still front and center for the publicity campaign for the films, but it seems like Kristen Stewart wasn’t able to get time off? Or maybe the studio fears that putting Kristen front and center on the promotional trail will end up being a disaster? Or K-Stew is just filming Snow White and the Huntsman right now, and she couldn’t get away and I’m reading too much into things.

So Ashley Greene has stepped up to the plate. God knows, in Ashley’s mind, SHE should be playing Bella Swan. Of course, she also thinks she’s Angelina Jolie to Demi Lovato’s Jennifer Aniston (and Joe Jonas’s Bad Pitt!), and she thinks that if you’re unsuccessful in life, it’s because you suck as a person. Ashley wore this L’Wren Scott dress which… I almost always like L’Wren, but on Ashley, the dress looks kind of cheap, IMO.

My take on Ashley during this publicity tour? She’s loving all of the camera time with Sparkles. She would “take” Sparkles in a heartbeat if he gave her a second glance, even though she‘s technically dating Reeve Carney at the moment (at least, that was the last I heard). Speaking of “taking” the Sparkle-dong, I am wondering about the state of Sparkles and Kristen Stewart’s relationship. Allegedly, he’s come to visit her in England a few times, but for the most part, they’ve been separated by distance for a while. Do you think there’s something up?

Ashley Greene: “If you end up unsuccessful… it’s probably because you’re a jerk”

ag4

In addition to her balls-out cray-cray interview in Allure, Ashley Greene also managed to wrangle herself onto the cover of the November issue of Blackbook Magazine. Really? Her? Was Kate Bosworth not available again? I personally don’t think that Ashley is all that a bag of chips, but I “get” her appeal to certain guys – she’s the haughty bitch-type, right? Some men love that kind of girl. Men like Joe Jonas. LOL. Anyway, Ashley’s Blackbook interview isn’t even half as eye-roll-inducing as her Allure profile, but there are still some decent quotes:

Ashley’s appearance in the Sports Illustrated’s 2010 Swimsuit issue: That’s Ms. Greene inside, wearing nothing at all, her body a marvel in the ’90s-era supermodel mold. “My team asked them to go easy on the Photoshop,” she says. “I’m not perfect, I have flaws.” Perhaps they lie beneath the pink, scaly bikini that was painted onto her muscular form. “I painted it on myself,” she jokes. “Actually, it took 12 hours, and the artists are amazing. I was debating whether or not to do it, but I talked to my dad. I thought it was very beautiful and artistic.” She readily admits to harboring ulterior motives, though: “It had a really good response. I think it was actually a good thing in that it made my audience more broad.”

She’s disciplined and her dad’s a Marine: “My dad used to be in the Marines, so no one is going to give him flack,” Greene says. She and her brother were raised with SEAL Team Six strictness in Florida. (Her father now owns a concrete business, and her mother works in insurance.) “At 14, I was being a little brat. I thought I knew everything, and my dad was like, ‘I own your bed, your TV, everything.’ At the time I was annoyed, but I’m very thankful because he worked really hard to provide for us. There was a lot of discipline, and with what I’m doing now, I’m glad for it.”

She’s sporty: “Growing up I was very competitive with my brother,” she says. “He did martial arts, and I was a tomboy. I got into martial arts and won medals.” Odds are good that one of them was a Purple Heart. “Once on the trampoline, I hit my leg and it just snapped,” the former cheerleader says. “They put pins in it.” Restrained in what nearly amounted to a full-body cast, Greene managed to re-break the bone soon thereafter when her brother, off balance on roller skates, sent her wheelchair careening into a concrete wall. “I broke my arm twice, I broke my femur twice, I split my head open twice,” Greene says.

Doing the cover of Maxim: “I wouldn’t have done anything too crazy,” she says. “The thing I tell myself is, My father’s going to see this.” She knows that teen girls make up the vast majority of her fan club, too. And yet, she understands what brings home the bacon. “It’s important to have a male audience.”

On her dating life: It’s a wonder the aforementioned teens didn’t abandon her in droves in 2010 when she started dating Joe Jonas. (Whatever did happen to that promise ring?) Since their breakup last March, her love life has been the source of endless speculation—she’s been paired with everyone from onscreen afterlife-mate Jackson Rathbone to Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane. “I’m not an actress, I’m a professional dater,” she jokes. “I’m dating everyone! My brother lives in LA and won’t even walk outside a restaurant with me. He’s like, ‘I do not want to be romantically linked to you.’” But she’s quick to add: “I’m not dating anyone. I’m very focused on what I’m going to do next.”

She considers herself a teen idol, sort of: Greene knows that people see her as Alice from Twilight. But she also realizes how limiting that can be. “Everyone sees Alice as a best friend. A teen idol is an untouchable, unapproachable, amazing thing. The cool thing about Alice is that anyone that comes up to me is like, ‘I just want to hug you.’” Is that not also, well, a little creepy? “No, they’re not asking for a lock of my hair. They just relate to that character and relate to me, but I don’t consider myself a teen idol. Justin Bieber is a teen idol.”

She’s not thanking God for her success: “The first year I was in LA, I worked my butt off. I was in acting classes every day. I would rather pay money for a class than have nice clothes. If I hadn’t worked as hard as I did, I wouldn’t be with the manager and the agent I have and they wouldn’t have sent me out for this Twilight thing. There are roles I didn’t get and I was really devastated, but because I didn’t get them, I was able to do Twilight … If you end up unsuccessful, on the street with no friends, it’s probably because you’re a jerk. It’s not necessarily divine intervention. Your actions predict what happens.” But just like any good Girl Next Door, Greene counters all that talk about forging her own destiny with some good-old fashioned humility: “You can’t control if the casting director thinks you look like his ex-girlfriend.”

[From Blackbook]

Okay, I rolled my eyes at Ashley going on and on about how she’s a teen idol (only to deny that she is one a moment later) – because she’s a second string Twilighter…? I mean, I know the die-hard Twi-hards have strong feelings about everyone in the cast, but do most people seriously give a crap “Alice”? I also muttered “bitch, please” at the whole “dating” part of the interview – she wants so badly to be seen as some Blake Lively type of girl, swinging from high-profile relationships.

Now, I kind of like that she wasn’t all “It’s about God, my career is thanks to JESUS!” – it’s just nice to hear someone talk openly about hard work and naked ambition, rather than acting like they’re too good or too much of a hipster to want their celebrity status. That being said, she should ease up on the whole “If you end up unsuccessful, on the street with no friends, it’s probably because you’re a jerk” argument – some of those jerks do very well in Hollywood.

By the way, Ashley had another PR success yesterday - People Magazine published a “Caught in the Act” piece about how she and Robert Pattinson had dinner together in Paris – can you imagine what kind of fame-monster Ashley would be right now if she had gotten the part of Bella Swan? It would be epic.

Ashley Greene in navy Givenchy: classy or trying too hard as usual?

wenn3573183
I’m surprised at how attractive I’m finding Robert Pattinson in these new photos. Rob was in Paris last night promoting Breaking Dawn, Part 1 with Ashley Greene. Greene is acting like she’s the star of the film, which is pretty much how she sees herself, but Pattinson doesn’t seem to mind. He’s just happy to pose and sign autographs for fans. He looks so hot to me here, and like he’s no longer jailbait. I love his scruffy beard and the small amount of weight he’s gained. (If he’s gained any and it’s not just the light beard.) Plus he’s grown out that awful patchy hair he was sporting this summer for a role.

fp_8064661_chp_pattinsongre
Pattinson trimmed down his beard from the full wilderness man look he had up until late last week. At last night’s premiere he was working the hell out of a Dolce & Gabbana suit. Greene was in a navy Givenchy gown with a goofy ruffle around the waist and down the front. It’s not bad, but that weird tooth necklace she’s wearing is bizarre. It’s so out of place that I would speculate that a fan gave it to her on the red carpet. It matches her shoes a little too much to be random though.

wenn3573195
Breaking Dawn is imminent, and they keep releasing scenes from the film in drips and drabs that are whipping Twihards into a frenzy. At first they released the honeymoon scenes, then the wedding, and there were probably some other releases in there that I missed. The film is out in the US on November 18th, so we have a couple more weeks of constant news about it to endure. It just looks so cheesy to me. To promote the film, a few of the secondary stars and performers are going to go on a five city appearance and concert tour starting next week. It will be free and tickets are sure to sell out quickly. It’s not a bad idea, but it’s probably completely unneccessary. This movie will clean up at the box office and probably requires very little promotional effort. Here’s more:

Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz and Elizabeth Reaser will pile into the van (OK, probably a plane) for a five-city tour from November 7 to 11 that will hit Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco and Salt Lake City, just one week before the movie hits screens (November 18). They will be joined by singer and “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack contributor Christina Perri on the first three dates. Three other soundtrack contributors — Aqualung, Lucy Schwartz and Sleeping at Last — will be on hand for the final two shows.

Tickets for the appearances are free and will be available beginning at 10 a.m. local time Saturday, November 5, at each location, with a two-ticket-per-person limit. Each event will feature a red-carpet arrival followed by the mini-concert.

[From MTV]

Good for them I guess. Ashley Greene’s name isn’t in the list quoted, but MTV reports that she’ll be joining them. She probably thinks they need a high profile celebrity there.

Update: After I wrote all that, the Flare Magazine people sent us this excerpt and these two photos from Ashley’s cover story. She looks so smug as usual, and while her interview isn’t as obnoxious as the one she just gave Allure, it’s still dripping with attitude:

On her protective instincts toward Taylor Lautner: “The guys get some very intense um… propositions. We all got a little ‘momma bear’ on Taylor because women were giving the guys their numbers and their panties and it was just a little insane.”

On staying in touch with the cast: “We’ll do dinners and game nights. This whole experience was really special to a lot of us, and we certainly don’t want to lose that family aspect just because we’re not filming.”

On Alice Cullen’s telepathic powers: “Seeing the future sounds really cool, but I think it would drive me crazy, honestly. I think it takes away the mystery, and that’s one of the best things about life… You never know what’s going to happen and you have to live every day like it’s your last.”
