Miley Cyrus and Twilight’s Ashley Greene were spotted dancing up a storm at the VIP Club in Paris on Sunday. The two are in town working on the film LOL: Laughing out Loud and were photographed filming yesterday and over the weekend with their co-stars. Miley has been linked with her co-stars Douglas Booth and Adam Sevani following her split with Liam Hemsworth. The Enquirer has a story in the latest edition about how “she’s quickly jumped back into the dating scene with two guys!” They really claim that she’s just dating Douglas, an 18 year-old British guy, but is “flirting up a storm with Adam,” also 18.

Star has an article this week about how Liam used Miley for fame, supposedly, and has a quote from an “insider” who claims “He’d brag to pals that dating Miley was making his career hotter” and “Everyone was kind of suspicious about him – except Miley.” The Enquirer claims that Miley’s new relationship(s) are how she’s getting over the breakup, and that “She wants Liam to get the message loud and clear that she’s done with him and loving every minute of it.”

Whatever is going on with Miley, she’s young and enjoying herself. She hooked up with Liam when he played her on-screen love interest, so it seems likely that she might fall for Douglas that way too. Whether she should be at a club at 17 is up to question, but as long as she was only dancing and eating candy I can’t see the harm. It’s not like she was seen drinking or giving an old dude a lap dance – this time. The drinking age in Paris is 18, which Miley will turn on November 23. It seems like she’s already 30-something in human years. I think celebrities age differently than the rest of us and that it’s somehow correlated to how young they were when they got famous. The Fanning sisters kind of blow that theory out of the water, though.

Ashley Greene plays the willowy psychic vampire who sports a pixie cut in the Twilight series. She’s moderately famous and has earned a few magazine covers. She’s not really on my radar but I vaguely remember that she dated Chase Crawford briefly, had a series of nude photos that conveniently leaked and starred in an ad for Sobe water wearing only bodypaint. Now that Ashley, 23, has reportedly been dating the oldest middle Jonas brother, Joe, 20, she’s sure to get a lot more tabloid coverage. I can’t claim to have much insight into this girl’s psyche, but Joe doesn’t seem like her type to me. Here’s OK!’s report on their date in London:

He may have walked the red carpet with Nikki Reed at the Eclipse UK premiere, but Joe Jonas is getting cozy with another on-screen vampire — Ashley Greene! The hot young Hollywood duo have been spotted out together in London, a source tells OK! exclusively.

“Ashley brought Joe to the Kings of Leon concert in London, and there was definitely something going on, but it’s not serious,” a source tells OK!. “They went backstage and she was talking to the band a lot, and he was just hanging out.”

While there may be only some sparks flying between the pair, Joe, 20, seems very into Ashley, 23.

“I think he wants it to be more than she does right now,” the source adds. “She’s a maneater.”

I get the impression that Ashley knows just what to do to get our attention. Maybe I’m being too much of a cynic though and she went on a friendly date with Joe. It doesn’t matter if he’s not her typical date (as if I would know) – the guy is a famous music star with plenty of cash. A lot of women would find him irresistible. He also seems to have a thing for young starlets, having dated Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Camilla Belle. Ashley better not fall too hard for Joe, though. His M.O. is dumping women over the phone.

“New Moon’s” Ashley Green may have landed herself in a bit of hot water. Or not, it could go either way. When she was recently asked by Us Weekly how she got in shape for her role in “New Moon,” she responded honestly and said she didn’t eat much. Now she didn’t say anything like, “I tried not to eat,” or “I ate as little as possible.” She said that they had busy twelve hour days, and that didn’t leave a lot of time to eat. But that doesn’t mean people won’t accuse her of promoting unhealthy diet strategies.

How did Ashley Greene get fit for New Moon?

“It was really easy,” the actress, 22, told Usmagazine.com Saturday at the Magnificent Mile Festival of Lights event in Naperville, Il. “We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn’t leave too much time to eat.”
After her response, her publicist nudged her, but Greene didn’t seem to care about her blunt answer. When she did eat, she chose “really healthy stuff, which was nice.”

Greene also said that training extensively for the sequel — which had the third biggest box office opening of all time — accounted for her figure in the movie. “We had a personal trainer and then we also had fight training,” she told Us. “It was a good four hours a day of training.”

To stay in shape these days, she said she does Pilates, usually six days a week. “I do it early in the morning. It wakes you up, and it’s kind of refreshing,” said Greene, who is headed to London in a few months to begin filming the thriller The Apparition. “And that is basically it. Sometimes cardio. I am not a big weight person because when I do weights I build muscle mass.”

Thanks, publicist. Now we know why you earn the big bucks, keeping your clients in line. This is one of those cases where someone gave an honest answer, but not the correct answer. Ashley should have added something about how not eating isn’t the smartest or safest way to lose weight. If nothing else, just to cover her own ass. And it’s true, too. Either she doesn’t know that or doesn’t care.

From my own experience, not eating is about the worst way to lose weight. One summer in college I meticulously counted my calories and didn’t allow myself any more than 450 a day. I was the meanest bitch in the world that summer. I went to a Catholic university, and I kid you not, I actually snapped at priests. Several times. Guess how much weight I’d lost by the end of the summer? Nothing. I gained two pounds. And I didn’t break from that ridiculous, torturous, unhealthy diet once. It puts your body into total starvation mode. Ashley probably would have lost a lot more weight if she’d eaten every three hours or so. And while she didn’t say she felt unwell on the set, if she wasn’t eating much and was training a lot, I bet she didn’t feel great. If she’s eaten every few hours, the whole experience probably would have been better for her. And she could answer Us Weekly’s questions honestly and healthfully. That’s why I eat better now. For when Us Weekly comes calling.

Yesterday we saw both nude photos of Twilight star Ashley Greens, 22, and a picture of her smooching Chace Crawford in the back of a limo outside LAX airport. Was that just a coincidence or is the young Ashley trying step out of the shadow created by the hot relationship between Twilight’s top two stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Ashley plays vampire psychic Alice, and she’s getting some attention now that these photos are out.

Ashley lawyered up very quickly and sent cease and desist notices to blogs and websites that published those naked self portraits. According to her lawyer, they’re “illegal and are being unlawfully displayed.” It took Vanessa Hudgens months to issue cease and desists on her first set of nude photos and by then they’d already served their purpose and she’d benefited from all the publicity.

So did Ashley leak these photos herself? The timing is pretty good for her as she’s currently promoting New Moon, out in November, and just appeared at the Teen Choice Awards. If she did do it, she’s smart to have sent out legal notices right after the photos were leaked. It either makes it seem like she’s really concerned about the violation of her privacy – or like she was already prepared to make it seem like the photos were released without her consent. She does look very attractive and well-groomed in them.

Meanwhile it’s good sense to get involved with Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford. The last we heard about Chace’s lovelife was in early June when just about every tabloid reported that he was involved with Sports Illustrated model Etzi Ginzberg. According to a source quoted by E! Online’s Ted Casablanca these two have “known each other for a while,” and “used to hook up actually back when he lived in L.A. It was never anything too serious. It was before either of them were famous.” How convenient for Ashley that she’s back with Chace right when it could help her career. There were at least two photographers outside the car when she was kissing Chace because I’ve seen those photos at two different photo agencies. So, is her career on the rise and does that make her more of a target or is she doing whatever she can to make sure she gets some attention right when she needs it?
