You hear a lot of skanky stories about Aubrey O’Day. Okay you don’t, but that’s because you don’t hear a whole lot about Aubrey O’Day – the stories you do hear are always skanky. 9/10th of the stories you hear in Hollywood begin “So this one time I was having sex with Aubrey O’Day…” You get the point. So to hear her little story about getting her clothes stolen, you’d naturally assume she was wandering around naked somewhere when the cops or paparazzi came upon her and she had to make up an excuse. Reality is actually a lot less amusing… and less believable in general.

Aubrey O’Day was left without any clothes today in Los Angeles — and this time, it wasn’t on purpose.

O’Day tells us she was robbed this morning while on her way to film a segment for the TV Guide Channel. Aubrey says she was walking down an alley near the building when “someone ran behind me and stole everything I was holding” — including an expensive dress by designer Zac Posen.

Left without a proper outfit, Aubrey says she was forced to wear whatever the TV Guide people had handy.

There is one silver lining to the whole ordeal: Her beloved teacup Maltese named Ginger escaped unharmed — her makeup guy was holding her.

Something tells me that Zac Posen dress disappeared in a different, more salacious way. I’m guessing it was on loan – I mean how the hell could Aubrey O’Day afford Zac Posen socks, let alone a dress? – and she lost it/dropped it in the mud/had to sell it for some smack – and then had to come up with an excuse. Gets her a little bit of attention and off the hook. And yeah, it’s a little embarrassing, but it’s sooooo much better than admitting she traded it to a stranger for some false eyelashes and a bag of what turned out to be baking powder.

Just when you thought Aubrey O’Day couldn’t get any trashier…

Aubrey O’Day is in final negotiations to star in MTV’s bisexual dating show “A Shot at Love.” Aubrey will be following in the footsteps of Tila Tequila and a pair of twins, Rikki and Vikki, as 12 men and 12 women compete for her affections. The show sounds like it is going to be used not only as a publicity platform, but also to launch her solo “singing career.”

Ousted Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day is eyeing a return to reality TV. The hard-partying blonde is in talks to star in the next season of MTV’s lone bisexual dating series, A Shot At Love….

The recent nude Playboy centerfold, who was fired from Bad Boy mogul Diddy’s charttopping girl band in 2008, is hoping to use the appearance to jumpstart her stalled solo career by arousing the interest of record label executives, who she hopes will sign her to a new recording contract.

A source tells PerezHilton.com, “She’s in final negotiations. Aubrey will be singing the theme song and hopes this opportunity will help her launch a solo recording career.”

She started her career as a member of pre-fabricated girl band Danity Kane on a reality show created by Diddy. Then her bad girl image got her kicked out of said band, so she was airbrushed into oblivion as a centerfold in Playboy. Now she’ll be starring in the ever-classy bisexual dating show. What else is there for her to do? She has said that she’ll never do porn, so she’s basically washed up after this show wraps. There is literally nothing more skanky for her to be filmed doing. Unless they ask her back for another season like they did Flava Flav, Bret Michaels, and Tila Tequila, because she didn’t find her “true love.”

I must admit that I’m kind of looking forward to this train wreck. It is inevitably going to be a complete sh*t show.

Aubrey O’Day achieved fame on Diddy’s MTV reality show Making the Band, as the lead singer of girl group Danity Kane. O’Day has since done all she can to make a name for herself as a tramp. As we previously reported, Aubrey recently granted an interview to Complex magazine, and posed for some questionably hygenic pictures for the write up. Diddy has since decided that Aubrey isn’t what the mogul ordered.

Danity Kane members Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods got the boot on Tuesday night’s live season three finale of Making the Band.

“Puff did not like [O'Day's] image…where her image was going for the group,” Dawn Richard – one of the three remaining bandmates – tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

“It wasn’t a personal thing,” Richard continues, saying her sexy look (the singer posed topless in Complex last month) was alienating young fans.

“We had just did a signing with Dollhouse Teen, which is for 13, 14-year-old young girls,” Richard says. “So we can’t do that one day and then the next day do an obnoxious cover…. [Diddy] wants the fans, and he says he can’t do that if we can continue to go in the direction that we were going.”

Diddy pointed to O’Day’s attitude as a reason for getting fired.

“I just want to work with the young lady that I signed, not the person that fame has made her,” he said via satellite on Tuesday’s show:

I’m not going to argue the decision. Aubrey O’Day outgrew the interesting phase about 10 minutes after she entered it, and that’s being generous. She has pushed her celebrity far past where it should have been by cultivating the image of not just a sexually liberated woman, but a tramp. It’s her schtick and just about all she has going for her. Her vocals are completely generic and Danity Kane will have no problem replacing her.

Replace? Yes, replace. Danity Kane will stay together and continue on without O’Day and one other member of the group. That brings this back to what I speculate is the real reason for the dismissals, Season 4 of Making the Band. Diddy wasn’t labeled a mega mogul for nothing.
