Chris Pine has just been downgraded from one of my favorite young actors to one of those guys who has really bad taste in women. Chris, whose celebrity is on the rise, is allegedly hooking up with Audrina Patridge. Yes, that girl from The Hills. The one with the fake boobs who isn’t Heidi Montag. According to Star Magazine, Chris and Audrina have been hooking up on the downlow since April. Star claims Chris is keeping Audrina “under the radar” because he’s still technically with girlfriend Beau Garrett. I suspect Chris is keeping Audrina on the downlow because he doesn’t want to be seen with a girl who is dumb as a box of hair:

Chris Pine is beaming from ear to ear these days. The Star Trek hottie has been hooking up under the radar with Audrina Patridge. The couple was spotted drinking together at the Red Lion Tavern in L.A. the weekend of May 16, but Star can reveal that they’ve been sharing secret dates since April!

The honey from The Hills first met Chris in Vegas while both attended the ShoWest Awards in early April. “Audrina had been looking for a boyfriend for a while,” a source tells Star. “She thought Chris was so charming. Not to mention really hot!”

Back in L.A., they continued their fling with secret hookups at Chris’ pad. On May 2, Audrina made an early-morning exit from the building — wearing the heels and tank top she’d donned the night before!

“It’s no surprise that Chris is taking her back to his place,”” an insider tells Star. He and girlfriend Beau Garrett have been on the rocks for a while. And Beau, 26, lost a boyfriend to The Hills’ vixens before! “She used to date Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend, Kyle Howard,” a source adds. “She must really hate that show!”

It remains to be seen if it’s the real thing for Audrina and Chris. He’s set to embark on the press tour for Star Trek, and she’s caught up in the MTV on-screen drama. “I hope Chris makes time for special dates with Audrina,” the insider adds. “They’re a really cool couple.”

Audrina was wearing heels and a tank top to her hookup with Chris? That’s the exact outfit Chris claimed he loved on women when Cosmopolitan interviewed him. Now, if Audrina only talks up his penis size, Chris will probably stick with her.

I had such high hopes for Chris too. He was never going to be the next Gerard Butler (who could be, really?) but Chris could have been the next Matt Damon, perchance. He had that wholesome, funny, average-guy thing going for him, but that will be destroyed if this report is for real. It’s funny how learning that a guy has awful taste in women just destroys the fantasy for me.

On the heels of the announcement that she will be helping Pam Anderson open a steakhouse/strip joint combo, Audrina Patridge has appeared in PETA’s pet adoption print campaign along with her adopted dog, Speedy Gonzalez. The campaign asks people to adopt, never buy, pets, because “buying animals means killing animals.”

Audrina Patridge an angel? Hills fans might think it’s a bit of a stretch, but the reality TV star is donning her wings – and a sexy white bikini! – in a new campaign for PETA, revealed first on PEOPLE.

On a billboard set to be unveiled Wednesday on L.A.’s Beverly Boulevard, Patridge poses in the sexy angel outfit with her rescued dog, Speedy Gonzalez, next to the line, “Be an Angel for Animals-Always Adopt, Never Buy.”

In a statement released by PETA, Patridge says, “Each year, 6 to 8 million unwanted dogs and cats are turned in to shelters, and half are killed because there aren’t enough good homes. The solution is as easy as ABC – animal birth control. Always spay and neuter, and never buy from a pet store or a breeder.”

She has been photoshopped into oblivion, and yet they still can’t do anything to fix her ceiling-eyes. They just had her tilt her head so that her eyes floated to the corners. Yesterday, JayBird questioned why the vacant look is supposed to be sexy, and I have to agree. It seems that Audrina has taken a page out of Paris’ (very vapid) look and taken it for her own. Audrina also has great abs, but her whole body looks hard, like she needs to add a few pounds to soften the edges. In the Peta ad campaign, though, she looks like a Victoria’s Secret model.

On PETA’s website, Audrina says that she did the campaign because of how much she loves animals.

During the photo shoot, Audrina told us, “I wanted to get involved with PETA because I’ve always been passionate about animals, and I think this is a great way to make people and all my fans aware of all the animals that need a home. And a lot of people go to pet stores and breeders to buy their animals, but you should adopt, so go to an animal shelter and rescue a dog.”

However, her love for animals, as The Deceiver points out, does not expand to cows. Does she realize that leather jackets and sandals comes from animals? And why is it that PETA always picks the densest of hot women to be their spokespeople? Pam Anderson, Khloe Kardashian, and now Audrina.

Pamela Anderson is not the brightest bulb in the shed. A while back, she posed naked for PETA’s “I’d rather go naked…” campaign, and has been one of their celebrity spokespeople. That didn’t stop her from wearing Uggs, however, or driving a car with leather seats, or being a spokesperson for Vivienne Westwood, who uses leather and feathers in her lines. Now Pam and Audrina Patridge have been booked to open a steakhouse/strip club in NYC. Maybe it’s been too long since I’ve been to a steakhouse, but don’t they still cook meat there?

While America’s current economic crisis might be causing a reduction in the number of men heading into strip clubs, recent studies have shown that it is increasing the number of women who want to perform on a pole. So while there are no guarantees that Pamela Anderson and Audrina Patridge will be flashing any flesh, the two Hollywood hotties have been booked to launch a new Gentleman’s Club entitled “Sapphire New York” on April 27th which will be part of Prime 333 Steakhouse on the Upper East Side. (It makes you think about “meat markets” in a whole new light, right?)

According to the invitation, the former “Baywatch” babe and “The Hills” hottie will be joined by Sopranos cast member Steve Schirripa, while Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson turns the tables.

I’m not a huge fan of PETA’s practices, but if you’re going to be a spokesperson for a cause, then go all the way. If you’re a celebrity and you’re part of any organization like that, you have an obligation to set an example. Either Pam doesn’t understand this, or all that bleach really has gone to her head. Or she’s really desperate for money. Her reality show was terrible, and she’s planning on getting married to a surfer – I’m guessing she’ll be supporting their family financially.

As for Audrina – why does anyone care and why did they book her? If she didn’t have such great abs, no one would pay attention to her at all. I get irritated just looking at her vapid ceiling-eyes and fake boobs. I guess the steakhouse’s only requirement was that their opening ladies be dimwitted and have implants. Sounds like half of Hollywood to me.

In the new issue of Seventeen magazine, Lauren Conrad talks about boys, what she’s learned about relationships, and breaks the news that the next season of her “reality” show The Hills will be her last. She and the rest of The Hills gang have recently been seen filming scenes for season 5 in Hawaii, with everyone in a bikini except for Lauren. My big question is, how is she still relevant?

“I think there was a time when I let a guy, if not several guys, walk all over me — which I would never let happen now,” she tells Seventeen magazine for its April issue. “I’ve grown to realize you can’t allow yourself to be a victim.”

Unlike her past romances with Brody Jenner and Jason Wahler, Conrad has kept her current relationship with actor Kyle Howard away from the cameras. In fact, the fashion designer won’t even officially call him her boyfriend. “He’s a friend,” she tells the magazine. “I’m a fan of labels, but girlfriend doesn’t always look good on me. Ha!”

MTV star is a label she won’t have for much longer: Conrad tells Seventeen the show’s upcoming fifth season (season 4 bonus episodes will premiere in March) will be her last.

“My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still a great thing,” she explains. “I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’ ”

Considering that most of the show, as well as its precursor Laguna Beach, consisted of blank stares, makeup artists off-screen, and a lot of self-pitying, I’m surprised that Lauren thinks she learned anything at all. Still, the fact that her new real-life boyfriend isn’t in the show might be a step in the right direction.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag must be pissed that Lauren has decided to leave – those two are happy wherever there are cameras. But like it or not, without Lauren, there’s no show. Some producers from the show have even expressed that they don’t know whether the show will go on without her. There were talks for some time of giving the couple their own TV show, but as their star is slowly fading, it probably doesn’t seem profitable to the suits at MTV. You can bet, though, that there will be some sort of special on their (real) wedding – or breakup. Look forward to lots of nuptual drama.

It seems that the Heidi Montag/Spencer Pratt wedding is a fake, filmed for MTV’s The Hills. Try to contain your shock.

US Weekly, which bought the exclusive pictures, featured a wedding that Heidi described as spontaneous. Turns out, it may not be legally binding in the US. You need a few bureaucratic boxes ticked before you can get married.

But were their nuptials a legal marriage, or just an elaborate photo shoot?

Several Us Weekly images, both posed and candid, show the couple at various stages of a wedding ceremony at a chapel near Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Nov. 20. The accompanying story features an interview with the pair, as well as details about the rings, Montag’s dress, and the content of their handwritten vows.

The story does not address whether they obtained a marriage license or took part in a separate civil ceremony, which is required by Mexican law to make the union binding.

Their publicist, Rick Rhodes, said he knew nothing about the marriage. “I’m not privy to any of that information,” Rhodes wrote in an e-mail. “If there was a wedding I wasn’t invited … Sorry!”

Spencer Pratt says that they will, of course, be tying up the loose ends of their wedding when they get back to the US.

Spencer Pratt is opening up about his wedding to longtime gal pal and fellow Hills star Heidi Montag. “We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer,” he told UsMagazine.com and The Associated Press in a statement. “We’ve never been happier.”

The wedding, which took place in Mexico, has had some in the media questioning the legality of their nuptials. But the groom insisted those will be taken care of in time: “Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”

Of course, MTV cameras were there to take the footage, meaning it couldn’t have been that spur of the moment. Not to mention US Weekly taking pictures, and Heidi and Spencer being dressed appropriately for a wedding. Most of us who decide to get married on the beach one day do it in a sundress, if not a bikini.

Getting a camera crew and a frock takes organization, and I think I know exactly when planning went underway for the wedding. On November 14th Audrina Partridge declared that “There is going to be a fifth season, we just found out.” This was six days before the wedding. It seems less than coincidental that the next season was confirmed right before Mr and Mrs Pratt had a fake wedding ceremony in Mexico.

In time we’ll see if Spencer and Heidi do in fact legalize their vows.

The Hills star Heidi Montag isn’t content to get US Weekly covers for non-stories about how she’s fighting with her ex best friend or thinks her boyfriend betrayed her, but isn’t willing to reveal any actual details. Now she’s planning to fake a pregnancy in order to get more attention over the summer. Star has the story, and while they do make up a lot of their content I would bet this one is true:

A source tells Star that [Heidi and Spencer] want to hog more of the spotlight by faking a pregnancy!

“This summer, Heidi plans to wear loose clothes and even strap on some padding around her waist to make it appear as if she’s about three months along,” says the insider. “The plan is to get the baby rumor mill going so she can get phoographed more. She and Spencer won’t confirm or deny the pregnancy so they can keep everyone guessing.”

According to the source, Heidi, 21, and Spencer, 24, have plotted each step carefully. First the aspiring singer will stop drinking. Then she’ll visit chic children’s boutiques… to pick out baby stuff. But by the end of the summer, Heidi will be photographed bumpless and sporting a skimping bikini while strolling along the beach.

Just about everything about Heidi is fake, so a fake baby would be just her style. I guess there isn’t much more she can pull to get attention. While it’s not original, a faux pregnancy is better for extended press coverage than a see through top or a crotch flash. Heidi may not have a lot of class, but at least she hasn’t shown us her goods yet.

In related Hills news, Heidi’s co-star and friend Audrina Patridge is said to have held two separate birthday parties for her 23rd birthday in order to accommodate both Lauren and Heidi, who can’t stand to be around each other. According to the latest edition of In Touch, Lauren held a barbeque party on May 9 at their home for Audrina, and then Audrina had a casino-themed party at her parents house the next night. She invited Heidi, but not Lauren because she “didn’t want there to be any awkward run-ins.” Lauren was hanging out with other friends that night and it sounds like Audrina knew this and did not deliberately snub her.

TMZ reports that Heidi and Spencer and two of their friends were out at a restaurant this weekend while filming The Hills and that Spencer tipped a whole $16 on a $783 tab. 15% would have been over $100 so that is indeed cheap. A producer is said to have paid $60 additional in tip after the waiter asked why the tip was so low.

Let’s hope these two aren’t going to have a actual child anytime soon.

Audrina Patridge, 22, the lesser-known female from the trio on MTV faux reality show “The Hills,” has released more topless photos of herself. While she hasn’t commented on the latest photos, they’re new posed photos of her topless, so she doesn’t really need to explain that she wanted more publicity. They’re more like something you would see in FHM than Playboy, and maybe she thought her last set of topless photos taken three years ago were just a little bit porny and she wanted to show us that she’s capable of more subtle sexuality. She called the release of her first photos a “lesson learned,” and explained her involvement by saying she was “very trusting of others and… didn’t know to protect myself.” She probably thought that she didn’t know how to pose well either.

Audrina continues to deny that she leaked the first photos herself, saying “They were intended for my personal use and portfolio only. I never imagined they would come out.” She also suggested that the photographer betrayed her.

Audrina’s second set of photos, which are about as provocative as you would see in a non-nude men’s magazine, were released through the same photo agency that somehow had dibs on her earlier pictures. Star Magazine reported this week that those pictures were taken by a female photographer friend of Audrina’s at the home of an older rich friend of the photographer’s. Audrina sent them to Playboy magazine before she became semi-famous and never heard back so it’s not like she can claim innocence in the matter even if she didn’t intend for them to be released at this point.

On Friday night Audrina introduced the burlesque troop “The Pussycat Dolls” in Las Vegas. She claimed ahead of time that “I’m not going to be in the Pussycat Dolls. I don’t know where that came from. I’m going to introduce them one night and that’s it.” SFGate reported that she meant that she wasn’t going to wear a sexy outfit and perform with them on stage like Paris Hilton did, but that wasn’t exactly true. She was seen wearing two different barely-there outfits when she introduced them.Fox News notes that there wouldn’t have been as much interest in Audrina’s appearance with The Dolls if those nude photos hadn’t come out ahead of time. Maybe she should have spaced out the release of her latest pics until at least the end of the week. It’s possible though that given how quick the news cycle is she just wanted to take advantage of her fleeing fame while she can.

Of all “The Hills” girls, 22 year-old Audrina Partridge gets the least publicity and seems the most normal. Now she’s set for a little injection of mid-week fame with topless photos from her pre-Hills days.

Patridge’s rep gave TMZ her carefully worded all too perfect statement:

“I took these photos years ago when I was just out of high school and beginning to model. I was young and very trusting of others and I didn’t know to protect myself. It is a lesson learned, for myself, and hopefully for the young girls who look up to me.”

According to the photo description quoted on WWTDD, she took the pictures at 19 to send to Playboy, but they turned her down.

Earlier this month Patridge was rumored to be joining a performance of the burlesque troupe Pussycat Dolls, but said that she’s just going to introduce them and won’t grind it on stage like Paris Hilton did.

You know she leaked these photos herself, but it wasn’t a bad idea. She comes off looking like the sexy victim, and gets a lot of press in the bargain.
