Kimberly Stewart gave birth to her Benicio del Toro-love child two months ago, and Kimbo has finally “revealed” the baby in a new photo shoot with Hello Magazine. I’m always surprised when American celebrities go with the Hello Mag debut – I guess Hello must be paying more than People Mag? Probably. I’m also surprised that Kimberly was “allowed” to debut baby Delilah in a magazine – she kept a surprisingly low profile during her pregnancy, and it seemed like she was making an effort NOT to famewhore. Still, it’s always nice to see baby pics. Kimbo also gave an interview about how Benicio is involved with the baby:

Benicio Del Toro surprised Hollywood earlier this year when he announced he was the father of Kimberly Stewart’s first child. And despite no longer being romantically involved with each other, the socialite insists the Oscar winner is very hands-on with their two-month-old daughter Delilah.

Showing off their child for the first time, the former model, 32, reveals Del Toro was in the delivery room when Delilah arrived on August 21. Del Toro and her mother Alana Stewart were by Kimberly’s side when she gave birth to Delilah Genoveva Stewart Del Toro in Los Angeles. Also at the hospital were her father Rod, stepmother Penny Lancaster, and her many siblings.

And despite Del Toro and Stewart splitting soon after Delilah was conceived, the actor is determined to be a prominent part of the little girl’s life.

Kimberly tells Hello! magazine: ‘The whole family, including Benicio, was at the hospital and my mom and Benicio were in the delivery room with me. Benicio’s very involved; he and Delilah have a very special bond.’

Kimberly admitted she had named her daughter after Tom Jones’s 1968 song Delilah.

She enthused: ‘I named her after the Tom Jones song, as I’d always loved that. She definitely looks like her dad, but she has my legs and eye colour.’

Delilah’s birth meant Rod, 66, became a grandfather just six months after becoming an eighth-time father to son Aiden, with third wife Lancaster. Having lots of young siblings, Kimberly has plenty of people to ask for parenting advice.

She said: ‘Dad handles children great – he’s had a lot of experience.

‘Since they (Delilah and Aiden) are only six months apart, I am counting on them being best friends.’

Kimberly and Del Toro were said to have had a brief romance last December after meeting at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

However, when Del Toro announced her pregnancy in April, he made it clear they were no longer together. His statement read: ‘Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive. Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.’

There have been a handful of reports indicating that Kimberly still wants to be in a relationship with Benicio, and I suspect that she’s being so nice and sort-of forcing this whole “Benicio is really involved with the baby” idea so that Benicio will see that there are no hard feelings, that she still cares for him, and that they could be all coupled up with the baby, and she could make it really easy for him. Oh, well. I’m glad she and the baby are happy and healthy, and it’s good to see little Delilah.

Back in July, when Kimberly Stewart was in the home-stretch of her pregnancy with baby daughter Delilah, we had some new photos of Kimbo’s bump and I expressed my interest in how low-key Kimbo was playing her pregnancy. After all, she got knocked up by an Oscar-winning actor who some women get damp for. Kimbo doesn’t really have a job, a career, or anything to do with her time. And yet, Kimberly didn’t famewhore her bump out, only getting pap’d a handful of times and not issuing any direct statements to the press. It was very interesting. Some of you suggested that Kimberly was playing by Benicio’s rules – that if he was going to pay up in child support, he wanted his baby-mama to keep as quiet as possible. You may have been right, partially. Radar has a new report suggesting that Kimberly really wants to have a relationship with her baby-daddy – which means that she was keeping it low-key because she’s in love with him (I think).

Kimberly Stewart is thrilled to be a new mother, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the rocker’s daughter still wishes it had worked out with baby daddy, Benico del Toro.

The 32-year-old’s pregnancy shocked the public — and the couple who the insider says only hooked up for a month, casually, before getting pregnant.

“Kim and Benicio still see each other and talk for the sake of the baby, but it’s not romantic and Kim wishes it were,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“They weren’t really ever dating to begin with, just sort of hooking up for a month, then boom — she was pregnant.”

According to the source, Kimberly is a wonderful mother to baby Delilah, who was born in Los Angeles on August 21.

“It was a tough birth for Kim, but she’s a tough cookie,” the source said.

“I think having any more children is the last thing on her mind right now!”

As for Kimberly’s famous dad, Rod Stewart, the source said he couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to their family.

“I’m really happy and thrilled for them both. Kimberly is delighted!” her mother, Alana Stewart, told RadarOnline.com when she found out about the pregnancy.

Delilah is the first child for both the Oscar-winning actor Benicio and for Kimberly.

During her pregnancy, there were a few reports about Benicio being “not happy” regarding the unplanned pregnancy, but at the end of the day, he’s acknowledging the kid, he was there for the birth, and he’s probably providing a wad of cash too. I think it’s nice to see both Benicio and Kimberly step up and be adults about the situation, but if this is all part of some plot Kimberly has hatched to win Benicio’s love… well, I feel bad for her. He’s not going to give it to her, I don’t think.

Rod Stewart has a new interview in today’s USA Today, and some people think that he’s revealed his grand-daughter’s name. His first grandchild – which Kimberly Stewart gave birth to on Sunday, with baby-daddy Benicio del Toro present and accounted for – is apparently named… Delilah? This revelation comes in the weirdest way – Rod is talking about how happy he is to be performing at Caesars Palace, and this happens:

…For starters, “I’m writing songs again, something I never thought I’d do,” he says. “I’m writing about divorce, about my childhood, all sorts of things. Why this gift has come back to me after lying dormant for 17 years, I don’t know. But it has.”

And “I’m a grandfather now,” he chirps, singing out the name Delilah, born Sunday to daughter Kimberly, 32 (whose mother is Alana Hamilton Stewart, one of his two exes). “I’ve been going around blabbing that for hours now.”

Rod also says that he’s managed to be “friends” with all eight of his kids (including 6-month-old Aiden, apparently), and that “We had everyone at the hospital to help Kimberly. I won’t say we always agree, but we get along.” Well, that’s not what I expected – I thought Rod was peeved or pissed about this situation with Kimbo and Benicio, but he sounds really happy. Perhaps he’s just excited to have a grandkid.

As for the name… I don’t hate it. Delilah is kind of cute, Biblical whore or not. Will she be Delilah del Toro (awesome) or Delilah Stewart (meh)?

On Sunday, Kimberly Stewart’s 32nd birthday, Kimbo gave birth to her daughter, fathered by Benicio del Toro. In the initial “breaking news” report, Us Weekly claimed that Kimbo’s dad, Rod Stewart, and her mom, Alana, were there for the birth, and it sounded like they were the only ones. However, Us Weekly’s new report claims that Benicio actually showed up for the birth! No mention of whether he was “in the room” or not, but it actually sounds like Benicio is making an effort. Good for him…?

Del Toro’s a Daddy! Benicio del Toro was present when ex-girlfriend Kimberly Stewart gave birth to a baby girl in L.A. on Sunday evening — and the former couple are “thrilled that she is beautiful and healthy,” an insider tells Us Weekly.

Although the Oscar-winning actor 44, and actress-model Stewart, 31, are no longer involved, he’s vowed to play an active role in the life of his new daughter, the source adds.

The couple hasn’t yet picked out a name for their first child, who weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long at birth.

Del Toro wasn’t the only one by Stewart’s side when she gave birth: Her famous father Rod Stewart, his wife Penny Lancaster and Kimberly’s mom Alana Collins were all at the hospital for the big moment.

“Both mom and baby are doing really well,” the source says. “Rod and Alana were thrilled to become grandparents for the first time and delighted at the new addition to their family.”

Why “beautiful” in front of “healthy”? I know every parent thinks their kid is beautiful, and the statement was probably tossed off because there were more important matters at hand, but “healthy” should come before “beautiful” because things should be listed in descending importance. As for the speculation about the baby’s beauty – you bitches are mean! I don’t think Benicio or Kimberly are amazingly gorgeous people, but you never know how genes are going to combine and the little girl could end up stunning.

Rod Stewart issued a statement to People Magazine saying, “My joy is indescribable.” Rod also threw Kimberly a birthday party the night before at Dan Tana’s, the LA institution. It really sounds more and more like Rod knows that he’s going to be supporting this kid as his own.

It was back in April that we heard about Kimberly Stewart’s pregnancy. We heard about it from Benicio del Toro’s rep, because Benicio was/is the baby-daddy. Most people assumed that Benicio and Kimberly must have only happened for one night, or perhaps even a brief relationship, which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy (and Benicio wasn’t happy about it). Personally, I was surprised by how little Kimberly was seen during her pregnancy, and by the fact that she didn’t issue one statement about the whole deal. She’s still not, even now that she’s given birth to a baby girl – once again, it’s Benicio’s rep who is confirming the news:

I find it weird when new (celebrity) parents announce how long the baby is. Is that something people really want to know? The length? Anyway, Kimberly actually gave birth on her 32nd birthday (she and her daughter are Leos). This is Rod Stewart’s first grandchild, and I’m sure the as-yet-unnamed little girl will be playing with her baby half-uncle, Aiden (Rod and Penny Lancaster’s son, born in February). Kimberly is still living on her dad’s property too – so even though Benicio is probably paying out, Kimberly is still living in lap of luxury on her dad’s dime.

I have been truly surprised by the lack of coverage given to Benicio del Toro and Kimberly Stewart’s unplanned pregnancy. He’s an Oscar winner, and he boned Scarlett Johansson in an elevator. She’s the daughter of a rock star and she was once BFFs with Paris Hilton. This should totally be a bigger story. Specifically, I want to know if the pregnancy was the result of a one night stand socked in alcohol (and more) or if it was actually a “they fooled around quite a few times” sort of relationship. Barely anyone is talking, though. Benicio’s rep confirmed the news more than a month ago, and The Mail followed up half-heartedly, saying that Kimberly had been offered a reality show where the focus would be on how she’s raising Benicio’s kid as a single mom, while living with her dad Rod Stewart. This week’s Star Magazine had a scrap of a story in this week’s issue, but I’ll take anything I can get:

Kimberly Stewart is expecting Benicio del Toro’s baby later this year, but don’t bother passing out any congratulatory cigars.

“Benicio was not happy about the news that Kimberly was pregnant,” a source close to the noncouple tells Star. Publicly, Benicio is attempting to appear he wants to be a doting dad. But the sources counters, “He’s just not the settling down type and has never wanted kids. He made it crystal clear to Kimberly that they were just having a ‘no-strings-attached’ fling.”

While the source claims Kimberly, 31, is a realist and knew Benicio’s viewpoint going into the situation, she has found some comfort with loved ones, especially her mom, Alana, and her rocker dad, Rod.

“Her family has been amazing. They are rallying around her and being very supportive.”

So according to this source their relationship was a “no-strings-attached fling”. That resulted in a pregnancy. Seriously? I know Benicio doesn’t look all that bright, but I’ve always considered him an intelligent man. How does a half-way intelligent dude have a “no-strings-attached fling”… WITHOUT PROTECTION? Gross, gross, gross.

By the way, I do have a theory as to why we aren’t getting much info about Kimberly and Benicio – it’s because of January Jones! Her (married) baby-daddy blind item is more exciting than (somewhat) established paternity.

The Daily Mail has one of their lengthy speculative pieces on Kimberly Stewart’s pregnancy after some kind of fling with Benicio Del Toro. You can tell they’re drawing their own conclusions about the situation, but they make some good points in that bitchy wordy way of theirs. (Takes one to know one.)

They note that Kimbo’s dad Rod Stewart hasn’t issued a statement about his daughter’s pregnancy and won’t respond to requests for comment. This is telling since Rod even issued a statement when his son Sean got engaged to a woman he met at rehab. They also report that dad Rod pays both Kimberly, 31, and Sean, 30, £12,000 a month (or about $19,500 USD) “through gritted teeth because he feels they are grown up and should be taking care of themselves.” Neither of Rod’s children from his first marriage has any career to speak of and he just recently bitched about it to the press.

What’s more is that Kimberly got knocked up by Benicio when she went home with him after they met at the Chateau Marmont hotel. The Mail reminds us that this is the same hotel where Benicio screwed Scarlett Johansson in the elevator. (Allegedly, he doesn’t confirm or deny this but seems to take pride in the rumor.)

Benicio is a total playa
From what her friends can gather, their encounter took place at his Hollywood apartment after a meeting at the Chateau Marmont hotel. It seems to have been casual.

Del Toro, who is rumoured to have made love to actress Scarlett Johansson in a lift at the same hotel after an awards ceremony, has a rather unsavoury reputation in this area, which he is at no pains to dispel.

He told Esquire magazine: ‘Did I ever have sex in an elevator with Scarlett Johansson after an awards show…let’s leave that to somebody’s imagination. Let’s not promote it. I’m sure it has happened before. It might not be the last time, either,’ he smirked.

He is, then, a toxic bachelor and proud of it. He calls his bachelor pad a ‘cave’ and, asked why he’s never married, he said: ‘Why do I have to get married? So I can get divorced?’

Kimbo has no career and this pisses off her dad
However, it seems the chief problem is that Kimberly has reached the age of 31 without finding her métier in life. She has worked, but — as is customary in the world of Hollywood socialites — only here and there. She toiled in a LA-based clothes shop for a few weeks, worked as a model on and off for several years, and had a little-watched reality TV show.

She even started her own clothes label when she was 19, but it foundered because she couldn’t get the supply chain to work.

Rod pays for his kids and complains that they’re not working
He joked that he and wife Penny Lancaster would definitely stop having children, as that brings his total by various women to eight. ‘Otherwise I will be touring until I’m 90 to pay for them all,’ he chortled…

He is thought to pay Sean and Kimberly, his children by actress Alana Hamilton, £12,000 a month in living expenses between them, and there is a sense he does so through gritted teeth because he feels they are grown up and should be taking care of themselves.

But now Kimberly is starting a family herself — and she doesn’t even have a career to take a break from. Does Rod regret being so indulgent?

‘I bloody well am strict,’ he said last month. ‘I grew up in a house a fifth the size of my gym. I believe in tough love . . . but I wish one of them would get a job. It’d be nice to see another wage slip coming into the house.’

Buried in all that is the rumor “that Kimberly has been offered another reality TV series, this time about bringing up the baby as a single mum on Rod’s estate.” She’s staying at Rod’s mansion in LA while he’s in England with his third wife, Penny Lancaster and their two children, Alastair, 5, and Aiden, 2 months. The Mail reminds us that “Rod has always refused to let the children film on the property [in LA]” although I could see him being less strict about that if it saves him $20k a month. Kimberly will probably get some kind of child support from Benecio, but it’s not going to be as high as the amount her dad is paying her.

No one cares much about this girl, but the fact that she’s knocked up with Benecio Del Toro’s baby definitely makes her more interesting. The Mail quotes her as saying at some point that she wants kids and a career “I’m going into that next stage in my life of being really grown-up. I know what I want now. A nice husband, good career and babies.” Maybe she sees a baby by a movie star as her gateway to a “good career” the Kardashian way. It’s almost as if she planned it.

This news has just blown my mind: according to Life & Style, Kimberly Stewart is pregnant… with Benicio del Toro’s baby. Like… how did that happen? Did you know that Kimberly and Benicio were “dating” at any point? Or was this just a one night stand? Why did Benicio even deign to get with that? Surely he has better options. Not that I’m trying to be really nasty about it, but… it’s Kimberly Stewart. Benicio has better options. The end.

Life & Style can confirm exclusively that Kimberly Stewart, the daughter of rocker Rod Stewart, is pregnant with actor Benicio del Toro’s baby, a rep for Benicio confirms.

“Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive,” Benicio’s rep, Robin Baum, tells Life & Style exclusively. “Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

Benicio, 44, is best known for winning an Academy Award for his role in Traffic in 2001. Kimberly was most recently linked to actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans, and in 2005 Kimberly was engaged to then-Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero, who was seven years younger than her.

“Although they are not a couple” = One night stand that led to pregnancy, and Benicio still isn’t quite sure the baby is his. That’s how I’m reading it. But I appreciate that Benicio isn’t doing the Ryan Phillippe thing and making a big stink about paternity – even if there are questions about paternity, bringing that junk up in public is tacky, in my opinion. So for now Benicio is going to stick with Kimberly (sort of) and then there will be a quiet paternity test once the baby is born.

Ugh, Kimberly Stewart. That chick who is famous for being Rod Stewart’s worthless, vapid daughter. Benicio could do so much better for a baby-mama-drama scandal. Oh, I just remembered – she was dating Rhys Ifans for a short time, right after Sienna Miller dumped him. Ugh.

Last night, Wolfman premiered in Los Angeles and all of the major cast members showed up for the red carpet. These aren’t our usual suspects (get it?) for gossip, but I liked the photos from the premiere, so let’s talk about it! Emily Blunt brought her fiancée John Krasinski, who looked just like my mom imagines what her son-in-law will look like. Anthony Hopkins (above) might be the winner of Hollywood’s Grand Beard Experiment, and he’s killing me with that cravat. Oh, and I would still nail Benicio del Toro to the wall. Yum.

Here’s Emily Blunt’s simple, lovely dress. I don’t really have a feel for Emily’s style yet. From what I’ve seen, she can be very hit-or-miss on the red carpet, and she usually gets at least one thing wrong (between hair, makeup and dress). But I really like this overall look:

John Krasinski is such a cutie. Is it just me or are his ears getting bigger? The ears give him this air of goofiness that I just love. He’s like a young Jimmy Stewart.

Benicio del Toro. I know, I know, I questioned whether he still had the hotness. When he smiles, you can still see it. Jesus, this man does it for me. I get that many of you think I have weird taste in men and everything, but seriously, how could you not want to do dirty things with this man?

Lastly, here’s Hugo Weaving, better known as that dude from The Matrix. At first I thought it was Sting. The beard works for him and I’ve never really noticed that he’s a pretty good-looking dude. Well done, Hugo.

Back in the day, Benicio del Toro used to be one of my imaginary boyfriends. It started for me with The Usual Suspects and ended shortly after his Oscar win for Traffic and subsequent multi-year disappearance from Hollywood. It wasn’t that he started looking bad (okay, he wasn’t as hot as before), but it was more like I kind of forgot about him.

Benicio is trying to re-enter Hollywood with a big-budget, effects-driven film called Wolfman, also starring Emily Blunt and Anthony Hopkins. These photos are from the German photocall, as the promotional tour for this film is just gearing up (the American release is February 12). Now… I don’t remember Benicio looking like this. Yes, sure he had his not-so-hot moments in the past… but he just looks rough here. Like he’s been out of the game for too long, I guess. Who am I kidding? I’d probably still hit it.

Meanwhile, a lot of people are starting to wonder if Wolfman is going to bomb. It’s a film remake about a dude who gets bitten by a wolf in the 1820s, et cetera. You know the drill. Man becomes wolf, grows hair in special places, blah, blah. It was supposed to be released last fall, but it needed reshoots or more effects or something. So, will it bomb? And will Benicio’s lack of old-school hotness be a factor?
