While Paris Hilton and her mother seem to be gushing over her new found ‘best friend’ Benji Madden, he’s been fairly quiet about the whole affair. Until now. It seems that this whole relationship isn’t just in Paris’ head, but that Benji is equally smitten with her. Or so she says.

The couple, who have been dating for little more than 2 months, has recorded the song ‘Shine Your Light’, which Paris claims was written about her.

In an interview with US site People.com, Paris said: “He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and actually recorded it in the studio. He surprised me with it… it’s this really beautiful love song about me. It was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me!”

You know, there’s nothing my husband hates more than when I blab about him to my friends, even if it’s highly complimentary. (As it always is, darling) Paris has previously talked about how much she is in love with her ‘best friend’, spilled to People the details of their two month anniversary celebration, told him she loved him on her myspace page, and her mother and father have also talked about how they love Benji, and how much Benji and Paris love each other.

There’s also speculation about the possibility of Paris and Benji getting married, after Joel jokingly referred to Paris as his sister-in-law, accompanied by equal amounts of speculation as to when they’ll get divorced.

How long before Benji gets tired of all this? After all, I suspect that dating Paris Hilton does nothing for his rock star credibility. He had it right in his last relationship with Sophie Monk. Rock stars should date supermodels.

Paris Hilton has been blacklisted from the Moscow Hyatt after she wrote “Paris Moscow 2008″ on the wallpaper as part of photo shoot she was doing in a suite there. The suite costs $16,000 a night and Paris was fined $9,000 for damages and will never be allowed back. Starpulse quotes a “hotel spokesperson” as saying “Miss Hilton ruined the wallpaper in the luxury suite. In such a case the client automatically goes on the black list.”

There’s a pretty exclusive Hilton in Moscow so it’s not like Paris won’t have somewhere to stumble back to after a night of heavy vodka consumption. You have to give props to the Hyatt people for saying she’s banned, but there’s also a kind of status in publicly stating that Paris Hilton is not welcome at your establishment. Alexander McQueen said that he didn’t want her at the opening of his new store in LA, but he didn’t exactly say he wouldn’t take her money if she shopped there.

Meanwhile Paris is still talking about her new boyfriend Benji Madden to anyone who will listen. She gave details of their two month anniversary celebration to People Magazine, and said she made dinner and they watched movies at home. As for their relationship she said “I think the way it works so well is that we’re best friends and we totally trust each other and we’re in love and we have an amazing time together.” I give it two more months before Benji is banning Paris from his establishment, too.

Paris Hilton is on tour with her boyfriend Benji Madden’s band Good Charlotte, but the fiance of his twin brother and band mate is stuck home with their newborn baby. That may be her choice, but Star Magazine says it’s not and that Nicole Richie is super pissed that frenemy Paris gets to tag along while she’s left holding the baby:

Sources confirm to Star that Nicole was devastated when Joel informed her she would not be coming on the tour. She previously hit the road with the band, even while heavily pregnant, so she assumed this time was no different. She had even begun interviewing nannies to help her with daughter Harlow.

“Nicole begged Joel to let her tag along, but he refused to put the baby through that much traveling,” says a friend of hers. “He thinks a rock tour is no place for a newborn and has put his foot down.”

One insider says Nicole tried to make her case for coming by insisting she was nervous about being away from Joel, 29, for so long and that she was worried about caring for Harlow without his help.

But another source says Nicole, 26, is really just upset that Paris Hilton – who has been dating Joel’s twin brother, Benji, since February – is crashing the tour. And Nicole knows that wherever Paris, 27, goes, there’s usually trouble. “Nicole is livid!” says another source. “The thought of Paris on the road influencing Joel makes her skin crawl. Nicole doesn’t trust Paris as far as she can throw her.

You can see this being the case even if Star Magazine’s sources all happen to be staffers. It’s got to be hard to be apart from your partner right after you have a baby, and going on tour with a nanny seems preferable to staying home. It’s possible that Benji and Joel didn’t really talk about the fact that Paris was tagging along and that Joel decided that Nicole should stay home before he realized that Paris would be stealing his band’s thunder.

When my husband and I were watching “Wetten, Das?” with Paris on Saturday, he asked “isn’t it bad publicity for Good Charlotte to be associated with Paris Hilton? Like doesn’t that demean their integrity as a band?” It kind of does. They may not be sleeping with tons of groupies but we know at least one of them thinks with his dick.

It’s never any big surprise to hear that things aren’t going well between Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton. Frankly, it’s a big surprise to hear otherwise. The two had an infamous falling out in 2005, supposedly after Nicole screened a copy of Paris’ sex tape “One Night In Paris” on a big screen TV. Though they eventually reconciled, they clearly haven’t been as tight since then. Paris is now dating Benji Madden, twin brother of Nicole’s boyfriend Joel Madden. Though several stories have claimed Nicole set up the pair to get Benji out of her hair, it seems that’s the last thing from the truth. Apparently Nicole can barely stand Paris, and having her date Benji just increases the time she has to spend with her.

Feud 2.0 is all about the whirlwind relationship between Nicole’s future brother-in-law, Benji Madden, and Paris, a hookup that’s left Nicole fuming with her friend. “Nicole has made it clear to Paris that she doesn’t like her seeing (Benji),” an insider told Star. “She thinks Paris is a total nightmare to be around and just wants her to go away. She isn’t happy about Paris once again crashing what is now her picture-perfect life.”

So why does Nicole suddenly see her BFF as a big burden? Allegedly it all goes back to Benji’s breakup with her other pal Sophie Monk. Sophie and Benji were engaged, but split up in February. While no one’s accusing Paris of stealing him away, Nicole doesn’t like the timing.

“She feels that Paris screwed Sophie over by coming on to Benji so quickly,” the source revealed to the magazine. “Her allegiance is definitely with Sophie — she doesn’t trust Paris one bit.” Apparently Nicole’s plan is to wait it out and hope for, well, the worst. “Nicole is just hoping Paris’ relationship with Benji goes down the toilet as quickly as most of her other relationships have. She just wants to get on with her life without Paris.”

I wonder how this kind of gossip plays out at home. I couldn’t be around someone who’d said something like that about me – but if most celebs paid attention to all the gossip about them, they’d be in a constant state of bickering with nearly everyone they knew. Somehow these two ladies are so petty and empty that it wouldn’t surprise me if Nicole had said this type of thing about Paris – and it wouldn’t surprise me if Paris was just dating Benji to piss off Nicole. Either way, dating the brother of your supposed best friend is probably a little too close for comfort. But I’m guessing Nicole’s prediction will be correct, and Paris will be bored of Benji in under a month.

Nicky Hilton doesn’t have anorexia, it seems she just doesn’t take a good photograph. She can look super-skinny sometimes, notably in these pictures, but Paris’ little sister denies having an eating disorder.

Hilton, who has been dogged by Internet speculation about recent weight loss, hit back at the reports. “There’s no truth to any starvation, eating disorders, rumors,” she told People Tuesday at her Nicholai fashion show, part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios in L.A.

“I think the press has been printing a lot of pictures of me from unflattering angles,” added the 24-year-old designer. “My friends see the pictures and they’re like ‘Oh my god are you okay?’ And then they see me, and they’re like ‘Oh … ‘ It’s really not that interesting or true.”

I have a huge amount of sympathy for celebrities having their photo taken. While a glamorous shoot for a magazine gets re-touched and looks fabulous, sometimes you look at a cover and it is hard to identify who the celebrity is, they’ve been altered beyond recognition.

Paparazzi shots are even worse, because they can get those totally unflattering shots of your skirt sticking with static to your behind, the light behind your legs highlighting the fact you need a shave, or looking particularly thin. While some of us might love the pictures that make us look skinny, it seems that for the slimmer members of the population you stop looking slender and just look unwell.

Nicky has a new fashion collection out this week, called Nicholai. Sister Paris was in attendance at the show, wearing a dress from the collection, with her latest accessory, Benji Madden. She wore one of Nicky’s creations and said it was one of her favorites.

Paris Hilton was seen out wearing a large, completely unsubtle ring on her left ring finger with the initials “BM,” which was thought to be for her new boyfriend, Benji Madden.

There is of course speculation that she’s engaged. It looks more like a giant token of Madden’s love, like something an eighth grade girl would wear on a big chain around her neck, having convinced her boyfriend to buy it for her during a planned detour to the jewelry department of the local JcPenney. Paris also has a necklace with a big “B” on it, but that wasn’t getting the press coverage so was looking for so she switched to a ring.

I was so hoping that these two were parading around in public as part of Ashton Kutcher’s new reality show, but if that’s the case it wasn’t revealed in the first episode last night.

Paris wore the lovely sparkler to the opening of the Kim Vo Salon at the Mirage resort on Friday. She frequently held her hands up to her face, laughing giddily, curtains of spit visible in her open mouth. At one point she even held her cellphone with both hands so the photographers wouldn’t miss yet another shot of the ring. When asked if the ring meant that she was engaged, she said “It means exactly what it means.”

There’s something else that BM can stand for, and given how skinny Paris is she might need a constant reminder to go. I’ve heard that adderall can really block you up. And I hope that’s the case for Paris, because that dress is clinging to her and she’s got some sort of bump going on. Please don’t let her be pregnant.

Nicole Richie praised her baby daddy’s twin brother in her People interview, and revealed that Benji Madden is always willing to babysit her now seven week-old daughter, Harlow. Nicole also said that Harlow smiled for the first time at her uncle. According to ever-reliable Star Magazine, Benji is more of a nuisance than a help, and Nicole and Joel are said to have set him up with Paris in order to get him out of their house.

A source tells Star the 28-year-old Good Charlotte guitarist has holed up in his Glendale, California home, which he shares with his twin brother, Joel. Joe’s fiancée, Nicole Richie, and their new baby, Harlow. As a result, he “barges in on them all the time,” says the source. “Nicole insists that Joel lock their bedroom door at night because she’s afraid of Benji walking in on them.” The new arrangement is driving Joel and Nicole so crazy that they’re trying to set Benji up, adds the source!

According to Nicole’s People interview, Benji lives down the street, not in the same house, but he’s probably over there all the time. Who knows if this is true, but considering that Benji is with Paris now someone has to have a problem with him if they didn’t at least warn him against hooking up with her.

Benji’s ex girlfriend Sophie Monk spoke out earlier this week about rumors that the rocker left her for the heirhead. She wished her ex well, and made it clear that their breakup was mutual:

“Benji and I did not break up badly or anything like that. We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on.”

She also said: “I feel no animosity towards Benji and Paris at all and am very happy with life at the moment.”

How embarrassing it must be to see your ex cavorting around with Paris Hilton in “notice me!” lookalike clothing. These two immediately hit all the paparazzi targets to let the world know they were together. People are speculating that he did it to make Sophie jealous after their breakup.

Meanwhile Star Magazine notes in the article we mentioned above that gorgeous Monk was seen out having brunch with a hunky video game director, James Rubin, on February 15. It looks like she’s moved on to someone more her speed while Benji has been reduced to playing tag along with Paris Hilton.

Paris Hilton is going to get another reality show after The Simple Life ended following way too long a run and her film career ran its course. It’s going to be a show that will air on either MTV or VH1 and will “be about her searching for a new best friend,” according to a source quoted on US Weekly’s website. The unnamed source goes on to add in a sentiment reminiscent of the social issues that plagued us in Jr. High that “Paris is tired of the haters and she’s looking for someone new. She’s looking for someone new and cool who she can trust.”

Of course a reality show will be the best venue for Paris to find a trustworthy buddy who will stick with her through thick and pharmacologically-maintained thin. It worked so well for her the last time.

Paris’ latest relationship sheds light on why she may need to turn to reality TV to find a fellow fame whore girlfriend. She’s been seen all over town with Benji Madden, the recently-single twin brother of Nicole Richie’s baby daddy, Joel Madden.

Paris and Nicole were said to have tentatively reunited after their long standing feud that had them filming scenes separately for the third season of The Simple Life. Their insincere make-up was caught on tape and used as promotion for the reality show, but it wasn’t too convincing. There were rumors that they were playing up their feud for publicity’s sake and were secretly staying friends behind the scenes, but it never seemed like there was much love lost between those two to me. Paris was a co-host at Nicole Richie’s baby shower, but was said to be miffed that Nicole supposedly gave away the expensive crib she gave her to charity.

Her new relationship with Benji Madden seems to be a dig at Nicole, but maybe Paris is just taking what she can get and using it for publicity. She seems to have made a very successful career out of doing that.

It seems that the Madden brothers, Good Charlotte rockers Joel and Benji, can really attract hot women. Firstly there’s Sophie Monk, who is hot. I remember when she first came to the public’s attention in the girl group Bardot (link leads to video) – she was steamin’. The band was lame, Australia’s first fabricated band that was a complete Spice Girls rip off.

Now it seems, in bad news for single women everywhere, that she and Benji have split. The rumors first surfaced in December, and were denied by his rep, but now her rep has confirmed it.

“Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable,” Kim’s statement read. “This will be my only statement regarding this matter.”

That’s kind of sad. They met in mid-2006 and got engaged six months later. Amicable is the usual publicists’ line, I think we can pretty safely assume that they have definitely parted permanently, not just ended their engagement.

However, things are going very well for Joel Madden and his sexy missus.

“It’s really hard being away from her. I think after having Harlow we are already in love with being parents,” he said. “It’s cool to watch Harlow with Nicole because they already have a real special bond. It’s cute. I have my own little bond with her too.”

Aw, that’s such a nice thing to say. Nicole does look really good post-baby, a lot better than she did pre-pregnancy. Of course, it just raises the bar for all the other mummies out there who are more slummy then yummy. And that, Joel, is actually why we hate her. It makes more work for us!

Us Weekly are reporting that Joel and Nicole have gone to four parties in two days, although it seems on they just went out for a couple of hours each night. They didn’t even hire a sitter, but apparently relied on Grandma. Awww.

Nicole Richie is moving quickly with her new boyfriend, Hillary Duff’s ex Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte. Joel’s twin brother and bandmate Benji Madden lives right next to him and is said to be annoyed that Nicole is staying over at his brother’s house all the time and plans to move in:

Nicole and Joel seem to be moving rather quickly and not everyone’s a fan. We know Hilary thinks Nicole is a “skank” and now it seems as if Joel’s BFF and brother Benji does not like his new lady either. The problem is, they may already be moving in together.

Sources close to Richie say she is “moving stuff out of her West Hollywood condo into his Glendale home,” and Joel’s bandmate, brother, and next-door neighbor Benji is “furious.” The source also said Joel and Nicole “have already become inseparable, and spend almost every night together.

It seems Benji might be too busy with his personal life to worry too much about his brother. He just announced that he is engaged to cute Australian actress Sophie Monk. He proposed to her while they were staying in Australia for New Years. Unlike Benji, Joel is said to approve of his brother’s choice in women and is quoted as saying “She’s so cool. I hang out with her, we have a great time.”
