There were rumors going around that Kim Kardashian and Beyonce didn’t get along at all. In Touch Weekly claimed that Kim was being “abandoned” by her celebrity friends, and that Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce were Mean-Girling Kim because they thought Kim was super-cheesy and budget. But… when Beyonce did her Memorial Weekend concerts, Kim went to one of them and sources claimed Kim was really trying to be tight with Bey, because Bey’s husband and Kim’s boyfriend are so close. Well… it’s happening. Bey and Kim went to a Watch the Throne concert over the weekend, and they looked friendly and tight.

Kim Kardashian and Beyonce Knowles are becoming fast friends! At the Watch the Throne concert in Birmingham, England June 22, the E! reality star, 31, and the 16-time Grammy Award winner, 30, stood side-by-side as their respective loves Kanye West, 35, and Jay-Z, 42, performed on stage.

“Kim and Beyonce were dancing all night! They even went into the mosh pit!” a source tells Us Weekly. “It was the most hectic thing ever!”

Kardashian (in a demure black top) and Knowles (in a white tee and leather leggings) did their best to keep a low-profile amidst the sea of fans.

The outing marked the first time the two stars have been photographed in public together. Despite rumors to the contrary, “Kim and Beyonce have always been cool,” the source explains. “Beyonce and Jay love Kim and think she’s a good match for Kanye.”

Kardashian certainly seems so. In a pre-taped interview for Oprah’s Next Chapter airing Sunday, she explains how she fell for West after years of friendship. “It’s very comforting to have someone who knows everything about you, who respects you, understands you, has gone through similar things,” she says. “I feel like I’m at a really happy, good space.”

The savvy star and West are on the fast track, an insider recently told Us. “They’re seriously talking marriage. And yes, she would [accept his proposal].”

So… Beyonce has given Kim the side-eye of approval. And Jay-Z seems fine with Kim too – Kim, Jay and Kanye hung out together about a month ago too. So… no drama? Well, we’ll see what Gwyneth has to say about this mess. Gwyneth thinks she’s down with Jay-Z and Kanye, but Goop also thinks she’s Beyonce’s big sister. Will Goop lay down the “No Kardashians” Law?

These are new photos of Beyonce and Jay-Z yesterday, still in Paris, just like they were earlier this week for that blanket-covered photo op with Blue Ivy. No Blue Ivy in these photos! Too bad. I was getting used to seeing her cute little baby feet. As for the fashion – I don’t think much of Beyonce’s outfit, but it’s not as full-on WRONG as some of the stuff she’s been wearing lately. She actually took a moment to coordinate – red jacket with black lapels, black leather pants, white tank… but the combo looks kind of Michael Jackson-ish right? Anyway, I have a funny Beyonce-Jay-Goop story for you. I’m not saying I believe any of this, but I would love if it was true:

Beyonce and Jay-Z are planning to holiday in a mobile home with Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow. The superstar couples have decided to take a low-key vacation with their kids after Jay-Z and Chris finish up their grueling respective world tours and have chosen Florida as the perfect road trip destination.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are currently in Paris – and were seen tonight heading out to dinner at Caviar Kaspia, with the 30-year-old singer look fantastic in leather trousers and a red and black tuxedo jacket.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘The two couples are planning a trip around Florida. Both Chris and Jay have been on intense world tours so they really need a break. Gwyneth and Beyonce think the jaunt, going back to nature on a high-end Winnebago, will be the ideal getaway. It will be low-key but it’s just what they need and they’ll get to spend quality time together.’

Beyonce gave birth to her first child Blue Ivy in January while Gwyneth and Chris have two kids, Apple, eight, and Moses, six. Chris has previous revealed he thinks his friendship with Jay-Z is ‘hilarious’ and thinks they get on well because they can identify with one another.

He said: ‘Yes, it is hilarious [our friendship]. What’s the common denominator? Well, underneath he probably feels a bit like me and I probably feel a bit like him.’

Gwyneth believes her husband and the ’99 Problems’ hitmaker get on well as they ‘balance’ one another.

She said: ‘They balance each other out. Chris and I are like Jay and Beyonce; two paranoid ironists and two calm grounded people.’

Chris added: ‘There you go, you’ve got the answer. We balance each other out.’

Gwyneth was recently criticised for tweeting the N-word – while cheering on her famous friends Jay-Z and Kanye West during their co-headline show in Paris. Dancing with the superstars during a guest-appearance onstage at their Watch The Throne tour, the mother-of-two then tweeted a photograph with the caption ‘N***as in paris for real’.

But she received a barrage of abuse as people expressed their shock over the word.

Gwyneth defended herself, saying: ‘Hold up. It’s the title of the song!’

Her husband Chris was headlining the Emirates Stadium in London with Coldplay as she supported their close friend Jay-Z in the French capital.

Beyonce, Jay, Gwyneth and Chris and the kids… all on a roadtrip? In FLORIDA? Um, NO. That will never happen. I could totally see Beyonce and Gwyneth day-dreaming about it, though. In their minds, it would be so quaint, like pretending to be peasants for a few days so they could really appreciate their luxury lifestyle. But the harsh realities would soon be upon them: how does one speak to a Florida peasant? How does one get petrol for the recreational vehicle? How does one get takeout (how gauche!) caviar and blinis in Jacksonville? How does one function amongst the peasantry when one is a ‘paranoid ironist’?

Here are some new photos of Beyonce, Jay-Z and baby Blue Ivy in Paris today. It’s a rare occasion – Blue Ivy’s daddy is holding her for a public outing. Usually Beyonce is the official baby-carrier, but not this time. Maybe Beyonce wanted to show off her pink outfit. Can we talk about Bey’s outfit for a sec? I hate myself for liking it all together. Maybe I was just sick of seeing Bey do shades of BLUE or maybe hot pink is just her color, but she looks good here. The pants are an unflattering disaster (tapered leg AND pleats?!?), but all together… it’s good. Beyonce looks super-fit too. She’s just come off her wildly successful New Jersey concerts, where she had practiced, exercised and trained for, like, 12 hours a day… so of course she’s fit.

As for Jay-Z and Blue… I do enjoy seeing photos of a fathers and daughters. I wish Beyonce and Jay didn’t feel the need to always cover Blue’s face. I mean, I know why they do it and I hate that the paparazzi got so close to the family. But still – we already know what Blue Ivy looks like (Indian!), and I want to see the baby. Notice too – Blue Ivy is barefoot! No little Louboutins, no little diamond-encrusted socks. Blue Ivy’s feet can touch the Paris air.

The family Carter-Knowles was caught leaving their hotel, I think. Reports indicate that they’re on their way to Belgium for the next concert stop for Jay and Kanye’s Watch The Throne tour. They performed in Paris over the weekend – and Gwyneth Paltrow was in attendance, of course. Gwyneth even tweeted something about “N–gas in Paris” and everyone had a fit. Not to defend Goop too much, but it is the name of Jay and Kanye’s song.

These are some photos of Kim Kardashian in Atlantic City a few days ago. Good God, how awful is this dress? It’s like something designed by Kanye West – “For the Cocktail Waitresses/Escort In Your Life”. Anyway, I just never got around to using them yesterday, because I was too busy marveling over Kim’s 2006 Face in our post about Paris Hilton being totes jelly over Kim Kardashian’s Fabulous Famewhore Extravaganza. According to Radar’s Paris is seething with jealousy because Kim is now super-famous, and Paris thinks Kim just co-opted her playbook and improved upon it… which is true. Anyway, Radar has a follow-up! And it’s just as dumb as you’d imagine:

Paris Hilton is fuming over her frenemy Kim Kardashian’s meteoric rise to fame, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that Kim just shrugs off any news about her former bff.

“Kim couldn’t care less about Paris, or what she thinks about her,” a source close to Kardashian tells RadarOnline.com.

While Paris was at the top of her fame her trusty sidekick was Kim, but they fought with each other and are now no longer friends. However, Kim’s fame has skyrocketed since and as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, this has infuriated Paris.

“Kim will always be a sore spot for Paris because she believes that without her Kim wouldn’t have the success she has in her life,” a source close to the situation previously told RadarOnline.com. “Paris thinks Kim wasn’t a loyal friend to her and only used her to gain fame and that she is ungrateful for everything Paris claimed to do for her.”

Kim and her family have become household names the way the Hiltons once were, and this has annoyed Paris’ family.

“Bottom line, Kim used her friendship with Paris, straight up,” the source says. “She knows what she did and doesn’t care. It’s just like she’s now using Kanye West to advance her agenda.”

Kim and her sisters have seen a financial windfall lately, especially with their reported $40 million payday for their E! reality shows, while Paris’ recent Oxygen network show flopped.

“The Kardashians used the Hiltons all the way to the bank,” the source says. “Kim is so desperate for attention, even within her own family. She decides to wear ridiculous colored wigs for no reason other than to see how they all react to her.”

Do you expect me to have an opinion? I don’t. I guess I’ll say that Paris is still stupidly upset that Kim has a few more brain cells to rub together, and thus, Kim eclipsed Paris with a great deal of ease (“ease” = famewhoring). Paris is just so dumb. That’s the only strong opinion I have.

Meanwhile, while Kim was in New Jersey, she caught Beyonce’s concert on Sunday. Us Weekly reports that Kim was even allowed backstage!

After touring Cannes, France last week and unexpectedly parting with some “sentimental” items in her luggage, Kim Kardashian was looking to let loose. So on Sunday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star made a beeline for Beyonce’s concert at Revel’s Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, NJ for a night of dancing and singing along with the songstress’ chart-topping hits.

Backstage, Kardashian, 31, got a chance to chat with the woman of the evening herself, and the pair were seen greeting each other with an embrace and dancing together. Beyonce’s husband of four years, Jay-Z, is best friends with Kanye West, Kardashian’s serious boyfriend.

“Kim thought it was such a great show,” a source tells Us Weekly. “There’s always some random rumors there is tension between them and there totally isn’t! Kim had so much fun.”

I would like to know what Team Beyonce has to say, because there really were some rumors floating around that Beyonce had banned double-dating with Kanye and Kim, and Beyonce had declared Kim to be “beyond cheesy”. But! Kim was hanging out with Kanye and Jay-Z together in Europe, so it’s not like Jay-Z is totally opposed to spending time with his BFF’s new girlfriend. So maybe Beyonce is coming around too?

Beyonce began her four-date New Jersey concert series this weekend, her first concerts since giving birth (!) to Blue Ivy in January. We don’t have agency photos from the concert, unfortunately, but you can see some photos here and here. I’m including some photos from Beyonce’s Tumblr, all of which I think are actually from the concert. Beyonce wore custom-made costumes by Ralph & Russo and the costumes used “500,000 Swarovski Elements crystals.” Jay-Z was there of course, and he tweeted, “I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine. BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.” Aw… that’s really cute. Michelle Obama took her daughters to the concert, and Beyonce had some stuff to say about losing her pregnancy weight. Cough.

New mom Beyonce, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January, knew there was no time to waste in slimming down as the May dates for her four-concert weekend in Atlantic City, NJ approached. Especially when the star would be squeezing her bod into custom-made Ralph & Russo designs, including a midriff-baring, fringed two-piece adorned with Swarovski crystals.

“Y’all have no idea how hard I worked!” the 30-year-old exclaimed to her fans during her concert at Revel Beach’s Ovation Hall Saturday night. “I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!”

And now that the superstar is halfway through her much-anticipated, post-baby concert return, she’s celebrating.

“Now tonight I’m gonna get chocolate wasted!” Jay-Z’s wife told her fans.

Saturday’s show proved to be quite the star-studded event: Michella Obama and her daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, were in attendance. (Back in April, Beyonce wrote a heartfelt, public letter to the First Lady in which she thanked her for being a “true, strong African American woman.”)

“They sat up in a private balcony with Gayle King. Michelle was jamming out to ‘Crazy in Love,’” a concertgoer tells Us Weekly. “When Beyonce told the crowd to get up and jump, [Malia and Sasha] stood and started dancing and jumping. They were shouting when Beyonce asked, ‘Do girls run the world?’”

“Together, all three of them did the ‘Single Ladies’ dance moves,” the concertgoer adds.

I feel like we’ve heard several different figures for how much weight Beyonce gained during her pregnancy, right? And none of those figures was “60 pounds”.

In additional to all of that, Beyonce has also given us two videos all about her preparations for these concerts. Beyonce put the videos up on her site (here). They’re full of Beyonce goodness, including her statement: “What I’m trying to say in the show is, ‘Yes I had a baby. It just made me more grounded and more like you.’” For real. Also: Beyonce looks so amazing without makeup.

I still can’t get over Beyonce’s Givenchy gown at the Met Gala. It’s been days and I’m still thinking about this hideousness. How did the House of Givenchy allow Beyonce to walk out with this dress? Did they send it to her, all “Girl, this dress will look AMAZING on you”? Or did Beyonce make the call? Was she all “THIS is the dress, y’all, these feathers are going to steal the damn show!” I tend to believe Bey made the call and the Givenchy people were secretly horrified. Although… they designed this crap, not Beyonce. They should be ashamed of themselves. Anyway, while Beyonce was on the Met Gala carpet, she only granted one interview, to Entertainment Tonight. In the piece, Beyonce confirms that she wants more kids (pillows?):

Blue Ivy Carter may not be a “Single Lady” forever. At the Met Gala in New York City Monday, new mom Beyonce Knowles, 30, said she and husband Jay-Z, 42, have talked about expanding their brood. “I definitely want to have more,” Knowles told Entertainment Tonight. “I don’t know how many. God knows. I don’t know yet.”

Just don’t expect a pregnancy announcement in the near future. “I don’t know about soon!” Knowles giggled.

The singer — who is currently rehearsing for a special three-night engagement over Memorial Day Weekend at Revel Beach’s Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey — added that she has “such a full life. I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.”

Knowles said she’s “been working really hard” to get her post-baby back. “There are no secrets. [It takes] discipline!”

She’s not kidding. The 16-time Grammy Award winner works out five days a week with trainer Marco Borges. “We do cardio and plyometric moves like lunges and jumps on and off a bench,” the pro recently told Us Weekly.

Knowles, who is 5-foot-9, avoids processed fare and sticks to whole foods like vegetables and grilled meats. “You don’t have to eat only celery sticks,” Borges advised. “Be sensible and exercise constantly.”

I giggled when Beyonce said “there are no secrets” to how she got her body back after the baby. Girl, keep trying to convince us. I love that she keeps trying. And don’t you love how the stories about her workouts keep changing? She says one thing to People Magazine, her trainer says another thing to Us Weekly, then Beyonce mentions to ET that she hasn’t been working out that much… except for “dancing, eight hours, nine hours a day.” Hahahaha. Wait, is she serious?

Beyonce flew solo at the Met Gala last night. And by “solo” I mean without Jay-Z, because I’m pretty sure Bey had some stylists and feather-fluffers around her. Beyonce wore this feathered Givenchy MESS. I know I said Sofia was one of the worst looks (and she was), but can we all agree that Beyonce was probably THE worst of the evening? OMG. I can’t even believe what I’m seeing, that’s how bad it is. I feel like I’m hallucinating. And just think… last year, Beyonce tried to do the “show-stopping” look of the night too – remember her vinyl dress which was so tight, she couldn’t even move? Think about that timeline too… Beyonce was “pregnant” at last year’s Met Gala. And now, just a few months after “giving birth,” Beyonce is at the gala once again, flashing all of her bits and pieces.

Shall we really go through all of the parts of this dress which are made of hideousness? Here’s an honest question: if you took off the purple feathers, would you like this dress more? Obviously, the purple feathers are a fug bridge too far, but even without them, I would hate this look. It’s too sheer, especially from behind. The sleeves and the bodice look too lingerie-y. And the lining throughout the bodice just looks cheap and swimsuit-y, like it was added as an afterthought.

Two more things: the dress has built-in gloves. Is that what it’s called? The sleeves are gloves. Sleeve-gloves. The effect is cheap. Second thing: I really dislike Beyonce’s blonde ponytail. I feel like it’s the same hairstyle Gwyneth Paltrow did for the Oscars.

I enjoy how People Magazine keeps drawing out the excerpts from their “Most Beautiful” cover story with Beyonce. That cover was two weeks ago, and People keeps putting more and more excerpts online. They really hit the jackpot with this interview – Beyonce talked about more personal stuff than anything else, and many of you are not buying what she’s selling. AT ALL. We’ve already talked about the excerpts regarding Beyonce’s take on the “fake pregnancy” thing, how Beyonce did not feel beautiful during the “birth”, and how she breastfed for 10 weeks and then stopped. These new excerpts are about Beyonce and her hair, how Bey doesn’t want Blue Ivy to grow up focusing on “the aesthetic” and how Bey loves old mascara. Sidenote: I covered a few of these quotes before, but this piece has way more context:

Beyonce remembers first trying makeup when she was 6 years old.

“I was playing in my mother’s makeup,” she tells PEOPLE. “I had blue eye shadow and red lips, and I put crazy blush on. I looked like a clown, but I thought I was so beautiful.”

Her routine has come a long way since then – the singer often does her own makeup for appearances – but her love for the basics remains. Asked what she wears to look awake after sleepless nights spent with baby Blue, she replies, “Lip gloss – I love L’Oréal’s Infallible 8 HR Le Gloss in Coral Sands – and a little bit of blush.”

Growing up around her mom Tina Knowles’s salon, Beyoncé learned a lot about beauty. “I like to experiment [with my hair],” she says. “I love playing around with highlights or bleaching the tips. I can cut and style my own hair.”

In fact, she recently gave herself a trim, cutting two inches off her ends. “I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh,” she reveals.

But it’s inner beauty that she values most – and she hopes her daughter will learn to do the same. “My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic,” she says. “It’s really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful.”

The Secret of Old Mascara
Still, being a superstar means having to focus on the physical. When asked if she’s comfortable leaving the house without makeup, Beyoncé says, “Every day in my life is a part of my history, and I’ve worked really hard on my career and my life. So I make sure I wouldn’t be upset if somebody saw me.”

That means her standard lip gloss and blush, plus moisturizer – “I don’t have to spend that much time on my skin,” she admits – and sometimes, mascara.

“I’m pretty good at throwing out the expired stuff, but I hold on to my mascara for a long time,” she says. “I actually prefer old mascara. It makes your lashes thicker and longer.”

But regardless of who’s seeing her and where, the star is feeling better than ever. “I have embraced my flaws,” she says. “And I feel more confident.”

As always, I have to ask: are you buying what Beyonce is selling? Is she wearing you down? Or with each new excerpt, are you growing more and more ambivalent towards her? I’ll tell you the truth – before Blue, before the pillowy bump, I was pretty much over Beyonce. She was annoying the hell out of me. But ever since the bump and the baby, she’s just trying so hard, and it really does seem like she’s trying to be more interesting. So… while I don’t believe all of the stuff she’s shilling, I like that she’s trying.

Also – Jay-Z has a new interview about his daughter. Jay appeared on last night’s Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition, and he talked about how he is as a parent. Jay- said: “I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that… Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever… Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad until their [kids are] teenagers. [They say], ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me.’” I think Blue Ivy will probably be a spoiled kid too, but I think it will be a different kind of “spoiled celebrity kid” than we’re used to seeing. Blue won’t be a little Suri Cruise or a Willow Smith. Blue is going to break the mold of what we know about celebrity children, mark my words.

For whatever reason, people are still talking about what Beyonce did to take off her “baby weight” (“pillow weight”). Beyonce tried to discuss her postpartum weight issues, but much like everything else in the interview involving the discussion of her pregnancy, everything seemed slightly… “off”. It reminded me of that scene in The 40-Year Old Virgin, where Steve Carell’s character is trying to describe what a boob feels like using really weird descriptors and suddenly everyone realizes he’s never touched a boob ever. Anyway, Beyonce told People Magazine that her post-baby weight loss was simple: “I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week. I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I’m running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn’t just go right from being pregnant to running.” So it’s weird that Beyonce’s trainer says something different, right?

It’s hard to believe that Beyonce Knowles gave birth just four months ago.

The singer, 30, confidently showed off her svelte post-baby body in a sexy black swimsuit in St. Bart’s April 9 — and with good reason. “Exercise constantly.” Lunges. Jumping off a bench right after you’ve given birth? Sure, maybe the trainer is talking about what Beyonce is doing NOW, not just after she had “given birth.” Sigh… I don’t even know anymore.

People Magazine keeps excerpting more and more from their “Most Beautiful” cover profile of Beyonce. We’ve already heard Beyonce discuss how she’s so “natural” with cutting her own hair and wearing flats, and we’ve already heard Beyonce’s reaction to those “gut full of pillow” rumors (“it wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy”). Now Beyonce is discussing THE BIRTH!! And labor. And how much “weight” she put on (50 pounds!). And she talks about breastfeeding and post-baby workouts. Come on, now, Beyonce-stans! At some point, doesn’t it feel like Beyonce is really going out of her way to convince you of something?

When she arrived at the hospital last January, Beyoncé came with the best of intentions for her daughter’s delivery.

“I did have a fresh eyebrow wax,” PEOPLE’s 2012 Most Beautiful Woman says with a laugh. “I got my nails done, I got my feet done, had my hair done, and I had my little lip gloss.”

But, in the end, Blue Ivy’s birth trumped all the new mom’s primping and prepping to meet her baby girl.

“I didn’t feel that I looked beautiful during birth, but who does? After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight … I barely recognized myself,” she explains. “But after many hours of labor, I could care less about anything but my child. I didn’t care how I looked.”

The focus, she adds, was shifted to “the miracle” that she and husband Jay-Z welcomed into the world.

“I felt more powerful than I’ve ever felt in my life,” Knowles shares. “I felt connected to my body. I felt like I knew my purpose in the world.”

Losing the Baby Weight
The singer says she gained 50 pounds during her pregnancy – putting on the last 20 during the final month leading up to the delivery – and was determined to bounce back after baby as soon as possible.

“I lost most of my weight from breastfeeding and I encourage women to do it; It’s just so good for the baby and good for yourself,” Knowles, who breastfed Blue for 10 weeks, says. Then, “about a month after” giving birth, the new mom tackled the remaining pounds with a strict diet and exercise routine.

“I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week,” she shares. “I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I’m running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn’t just go right from being pregnant to running.”

All the hard work – including “staying away from anything delicious” and no cheat days – has paid off.

“I’m proud that my waist came back so fast. I’m proud of that and happy, but that was mostly from the breastfeeding,” the singer explains.

And not only is Knowles just “three to four pounds” away from her pre-pregnancy weight, but she has also acquired a new softness about her voluptuous body.

“My hormones are still in my body. Your body produces the hormones that make your body soft,” she says. “It’s just magical. It makes me so proud to be a woman because it’s just unexplainable what happens to your body – it’s incredible.”

That was one of the larger parts of the “pillow” conspiracy – Beyonce is curvy girl, like Jessica Simpson. When curvy girls get pregnant, most of them gain weight everywhere, like Jessica Simpson. The only thing that got bigger on Beyonce was her pillowy bump, and even if you buy that the bump was real, do you buy that she gained 50 pounds?!? And yes, Beyonce lost the weight quickly. Very quickly. She had her little waist back by March 19 – like, six weeks after the birth. Whatever. Just toss this interview into the Conspiracy Cauldron with all of the other interviews.
