Blake Lively name-drops Anna Wintour during interview for Marie Claire UK

blake4

I know most of you hate Blake Lively. I understand. She’s kind of a pill, and she’s not really very talented. But she’s pretty! And she photographs beautifully and she’s really into clothes and showing off her boobs and her legs, and for some reason, that combination struck a cord with Vogue’s Anna Wintour. Wintour has given Blake Lively two (TWO) Vogue covers in less than two years. And since I subscribe to Vogue, I can tell you that Blake has also been featured in other issues where she’s not even the cover girl, like this: Blake and Anna’s whirlwind adventure in Paris to see the shows. Anyway, it seems that little Blake is so in love with Wintour, that she name-drops her into normal conversation – even when she’s doing an interview for Marie Claire UK (full pictorial here).

Move over, Leighton Meester! Blake Lively has a new BFF on the Upper East Side: Anna Wintour, the notorious Vogue editor-in-chief who reportedly inspired the roman à clef The Devil Wears Prada!

The 23-year-old Gossip Girl actress — who has appeared on the fashion mag’s cover twice in two years — opens up about her new friendship with the famed fashion editor in the October issue of Marie Claire UK.

“I was speaking with Anna Wintour and we were just talking about different fashion houses and I said, ‘I love Chanel,’ and she said, ‘You should come with me to the show,’” Lively recalls. “I also said I loved Dior. She said, “Okay, well I’ll take you to the Chanel and Dior shows and we’ll meet with Karl [Lagerfeld] and John [Galliano] afterwards.’ Insane!”

And Lively says she’s learned a lot from sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week with the 60-year-old editor.

“I’ve always loved fashion. That’s why I don’t use a stylist,” Lively tells the mag. “It’s such an expression of self.”

Though she’s happy to dish on her newfound friendship, Lively stays mum on her relationship with costar Penn Badgley, 23.

“At the end of the day, you’re just in any relationship. How does anybody go to work every day and come home?” she asks. “You just do it and it either works or it doesn’t.”

[From Us Weekly]

Is it rude to talk about another magazine’s editor when you’re doing an interview with a fashion magazine? Is it cheesy to name-drop Anna Wintour like she’s the end-all of fashion? Is Blake a conceited little bitch? Am I totes jealous? The answer to all those questions and more is “yes.” Also, I have to admit – this Marie Claire photo shoot is lovely. It’s even better than Blake’s shoots with Vogue. Take that, Anna Wintour!

Blake Lively’s miraculous boobs will have a long career

Hard and dedicated worker Blake Lively hits the set of Gossip Girl in New York City, New York on August 31, 2010 with hot new co-star Sam Page. Blake showed off her style in a sexy black outfit as she locked arms with her new on film fling. Fame Pictures, Inc

Here are Blake Lively’s magnificent breasts on the set of Gossip Girl yesterday. Lovely, aren’t they? I do believe they are man-made, because I don’t know of any natural breasts that would look like that in that kind of top. As many know, I do like Blake – I think she’s ambitious and ballsy and kind of funny, and I think she’s got what it takes to become the next… um… Hot Girl Who Gets Lots of Parts…? Who is that now? Who is in movies and you’re like, “She’s very pretty but I don’t know why people think she’s a good actress”? Like, one part Megan Fox and one part Jessica Biel, maybe? Blake is very much one of those girls. What sets her apart is what is on display in these photos – her absolutely amazing body. Sure, lots of girls have great bodies. But not many diplay their figures so consistently and with such aggressiveness as Blake.

Speaking of Blake’s boobs career, some more stuff has come out about The Town, the film Blake did with Ben Affleck (cough) and Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner. The new poster for The Town just came out, as did the international trailer (which isn’t that different than the other trailers). Enjoy:

The poster is freaky:

Enquirer: Gossip Girl’s Blake Lively and Leighton Meester can’t stand each other

fp_5398056_gossip_girl_cwny
There’s a pretty interesting piece in this week’s National Enquirer about how Gossip Girl co-stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are in a blood feud. Supposedly Leighton is jealous over the recognition and fame that Blakes has been getting lately. The most interesting part of this story is that Blake’s rep doesn’t deny this but merely says his client “has never been best friends” with Blake and just “goes to work and does her job” as if that’s enough to dispel the story that she can’t stand Lively. She tolerates her, and that’s about it. Here’s the Enquirer’s take:

“They don’t even acknowledge each other when they’re not in a scene together,” a set insider told the Enquirer.

“Leighton thinks Blake is an egomaniac who views her time on the TV set as slumming.

“And Blake feels stifled. She’s just ignoring her co-star because she knows bigger things are in store…”

When asked about the feud, Blake’s publicist told The Enquirer: “Blake and Leighton have never been best friends and never professed to be. Blake goes to work, does her job, and goes home.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, September 6, 2010]

The Enquirer goes on to say that Blake “asked Gossip Girl producers to kill off her character because of cast infighting.” (I hope that’s not a spoiler for our GG fans.)

Kaiser reminds me that while Lively has been on the cover of Vogue a head-shaking two times, Leighton is still struggling for recognition. It seems like we’re always talking about Blake’s fashion or boobs, while Leighton is barely mentioned at all in the press. I remember when she was hot sh*t too, and when it was all about how she was born in prison to a convict mom. She also had some sort of half-assed pop music career that went nowhere. Now it’s all about Blake and her upcoming role in The Town and maybe-fling with married Ben Affleck. No wonder these ladies are fighting. One’s career is on the rise while the other one is struggling. It’s not rocket science.

Ben Affleck interviews, flirts with Blake Lively in Interview Mag

blake2

Ever since the tabloids began publishing photos from the Boston set of The Town last year, I’ve been wondering if Ben Affleck and Blake Lively really did have an affair. I know that this may hurt CB’s long-standing love of Ben, but I think if Ben had his way, there would have been an affair. I’m not so sure about Blake – yes, I think she’s the kind of actress who would do ANYTHING for a good part, but it seems like she got a part in The Town without sleeping with Ben, so why have an on-set affair? But, as I said, I think Ben wanted it, and I think he was crushing hard on young Blake.

Anyway, after those rumors surfaced, percolated and clung to the gossip world like bacon grease (mm…), you’d think that Ben and Blake might try to avoid each other as The Town’s promotional duties gear up (it’s being released on September 10th). Not so much – Ben interviewed Blake for her cover profile in Interview Magazine (full piece here). Let’s see if they’re flirty in the interview, shall we?

BEN AFFLECK: Somebody told me that you’re in Paris now. Is that true?
BLAKE LIVELY: Yeah, I’m in Paris!
AFFLECK: Are you liking it?
LIVELY: Oh, my gosh, it’s so amazing here. It’s couture fashion week, so it’s been like a fairy-tale Paris experience.
AFFLECK: You don’t have to tell me . . .

*******

AFFLECK: We met when you came to do The Town, and when you turned up, I was a little taken aback. I was like, “How did you learn this Boston accent? How did you learn all of this stuff?” Which I thought was hard to get because I had been doing readings with all of these actresses in New York and L.A., and it was just hard to find the right person. You were by far the best, and when I asked you how you got everything down, it turned out that you had tried to work with this one dialect coach, and then tried another one, and then just started doing all of this incredibly thorough, diligent, independent research on your own-seeking out people who spoke the way your character does, seeking out people whose own life experiences you could draw upon. How did you get to the point where that became your approach? Because it’s certainly nothing I ever did at any point in my twenties. Where does that instinct come from?
LIVELY: I don’t know. I think it comes from the fact that I never really thought about acting as a child. It wasn’t like, “This is the career that I want to pursue.” So when I first started acting, I was more concerned with just being on a set and all of the woes of that, and I didn’t really know it or understand it as a craft yet…. That’s been something, movie by movie, that I’ve been able to grow and learn from-that I always need to work harder to be better because it’s still a new craft for me.

AFFLECK: Did anyone help you learn that?
LIVELY: I just did it on my own. I’ve never worked with an acting coach, but my parents had acting classes and I grew up around them my whole life just because I didn’t have a babysitter. I’m actually a very shy person-that’s a big secret, so don’t tell-but being in those classes pushed me to break out of that a little bit. It’s like nature versus nurture: I’m naturally very shy, but I was brought up in a way where I had to get up and get out of that.

AFFLECK: I wouldn’t really describe you as shy. That hasn’t been my experience of you.
LIVELY: Well, I had to be bold with you! I had to be brave because this role was terrifying. But it was all smoke and mirrors because I read the script and I didn’t know how I couldn’t do it. I loved this character so much. I was a little selfish in wanting to do it because I also thought, Well, maybe I’m not the best person for this, but I really want it. I didn’t know how to do a good Boston accent, so I went and got a dialect coach, and she was really good, but it was a real proper accent I was learning, and my character is from the projects.

***********

AFFLECK: You brought a sense of complexity and nuance to the character that I felt was really important. And then I also found it impressive that even though your schedule on Gossip Girl was really tight, you made the time to come to Boston and do some firsthand research.
LIVELY: Well, I had to come to Boston because they told me, “Ben said you have to come to Boston if you want the part.” [laughs]
AFFLECK: That’s not true. They said I wasn’t interested? Really?
LIVELY: Well, no. They just said, “Ben is not going to come to New York. You’re too young for the part, but if you feel like you want to pursue this, you can take a train to Boston.”
AFFLECK: And you did, which I thought was cool. You spent a lot of time with some of these girls from the real projects who showed you around and showed you their lives. You got into a whole world that I imagine is very different from Burbank-and probably very different from what you experienced on Traveling Pants. What was that like? Were you nervous? Were you excited?

**************

AFFLECK: You know, before we did The Town, I wasn’t superfamiliar with everything you’d done.
LIVELY: You weren’t?

AFFLECK: Well, I was a fan of yours, but I didn’t have the full, in-depth familiarity. But then I got to see The Private Lives of Pippa Lee on DVD, and I just thought all of the acting in that film was great. It was directed by Rebecca Miller, and she’s super-heavy-duty. What was she like to work with?
LIVELY: Oh, gosh. She’s such an incredible woman. She’s one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. The script was really wild. It was entirely hers, because she wrote the book that the film was based on, and she’d worked with the story for so many years…”

AFFLECK: See, if I were a real director, I would have said something informed and brilliant like that. I was just like, “I don’t know. Come on, let’s shoot.” So I was basically right to feel insecure.
LIVELY: [laughs] I don’t know if you should have felt insecure, but I would call Rebecca between scenes on our film and say, “Ben’s telling me to do this thing, but he’s so wrong.”

*********
AFFLECK: Is there anyone whose career you admire?
LIVELY: People always ask me that and I always answer with men. Which is not to say that there aren’t incredible women in this business, but I feel like men are still given much better opportunities. I feel like there are so many people I admire for so many reasons that I can’t look at one person’s life and say, “I want that life.” I want to make my own history.
AFFLECK: I always have to remind myself how young you are. You were 3 when Good Will Hunting [1997] came out.
LIVELY: [laughs] Not quite.
AFFLECK: And you’ve never even seen it. That felt good to me.
LIVELY: You were in Good Will Hunting?
AFFLECK: But you have your head on pretty straight. You and I had to do a sex scene on the first day of shooting, and you were very poised and comfortable about it-more mature than some of the crew members.
LIVELY: Well, I have a big family and no one ever treated me like a child. They always treated me like an adult, like an equal. But with acting, I think half of it is just acting confident. We stand on these red carpets and pose in these dresses, but we’re all only so confident. It doesn’t mean we think we’re great looking or anything. It’s all a façade. But the sex scene was really awkward. It was my first day, so thank you for that.
AFFLECK: You’re welcome.
LIVELY: I guess it was good to break the ice. [laughs]

********

AFFLECK: So before you got to Paris, you were down in New Orleans doing Green Lantern, which is a big Hollywood superhero movie. You’re playing the secretary of the Air Force or something?
LIVELY: Secretary? I own the company! I play a fighter pilot. Are you intimidated now?
AFFLECK: So you’re playing a much older character-a person with a lot of responsibility in regards to airplanes and that kind of stuff.
LIVELY: Did you see Pearl Harbor [2001]? My character has the same kind of position as the lead character in that.
AFFLECK: [laughs] Funnily enough, that doesn’t bring anything to mind. I must have blacked that out. So who’s more attractive: Jon Hamm or Ryan Reynolds?
LIVELY: Pete Postlethwaite.
AFFLECK: See, that’s the quote that’s going to get pulled out and be in bold letters above the interview. So when people read it, they get to this part of the conversation and they say, “Well, that was just bullshit.” [Lively laughs] I do have to say though, Pete Postlethwaite is an attractive guy. He is fabulous. And Green Lantern sounds pretty good.

*********

AFFLECK: Well, that was the last question. I didn’t get to some others I wanted to ask you, like, “Which day did you find yourself most impressed by me?”
LIVELY: Or am I happy that you don’t wear cashmere turtlenecks anymore.
AFFLECK: Oh, Jesus Christ. I don’t know what pictures you’re looking at. How about: Would you work with me again? When your price is too expensive, can I hire you for scale? I want you to say it now so it’s in a magazine.
LIVELY: Oh, gosh. You’re so tacky! I told you already that I’d never work with you again. Jason Bourne maybe.
AFFLECK: Do you remember when you and I had worked together for months and we were wandering around in Boston and at one point I just randomly pointed to a place and said, “Matt Damon lived there.” And you turned to me and were like, “What? You know Jason Bourne?” [Lively laughs]

LIVELY: Of course I’ll work with you again.
AFFLECK: I’m going to introduce you to Jason Bourne so that you’ll be grateful.
LIVELY: I’m already grateful.

AFFLECK: Now stop trolling the Internet looking for pictures of me and critiquing my wardrobe. Before I went to do this interview somebody said, “Blake is a fashion darling.” All of us can’t be fashion darlings, Blake.
LIVELY: Well, people like you make me fashionable, because if there is no wrong there can be no right.
AFFLECK: You’ve gotten so much more bitchy since we wrapped the film.
LIVELY: But I think you have to say that I’m charming at the end of the interview. I think that’s the rule.
AFFLECK: You’re very charming.
LIVELY: Actually, I think they usually like to end these interviews on a funny note.
AFFLECK: I’m not sure that I said anything funny. Maybe you did.
LIVELY: Maybe they’ll just have someone else redo the interview.
AFFLECK: Okay, then. I’m going to let you go. I can hear the Gossip Girl people banging on your trailer door because you’re holding up the whole production doing this interview. This is how you get a bad reputation: You stay on the phone doing interviews.
LIVELY: I’m actually not in a trailer. I’m in a hotel room with no air conditioning. It’s very special.
AFFLECK: That’s the charm of Europe. What can I say?
LIVELY: That’s going to be the quote right there: “Ben Affleck says things don’t work well in Europe.”

[From Interview Magazine]

Um… I totally think they were doing it. And I think it was really hot, too. Is it wrong that I’m kind of in love with Blake now too? True, she doesn’t seem like the most awesome girl in the world, but she’s a bigger, more hardcore bitch than I realized, and I respect that. Oh, and Ben was totally gushing over her. It was kind of uncomfortable. Like, if the interview went on for any longer (and this was already a seriously long piece), Ben was going to ask, “Can I touch your hair?

Blake Lively tried & failed to steal a role from Scarlett Johansson

fp_5498137_twelve_aar_072810

Call me crazy, but I kind of like Blake Lively. I don’t think she’s supremely talented, and I think there are several parts of her body that were purchased from the “blonde starlet” package, but she’s grown on me over the past year. She’s ambitious, she seems smart, and she’s our little budding fashionista. She cares about the clothes. She cares about it a lot, and she knows that her red carpet appearances have contributed a lot to her celebrity. Almost as much as her big, fake rack and her constant pantlessness.

So will Blake ever be truly A-List? Not that she doesn’t already have some sense of that: she gets more press than many of her peers, she’s pals with Anna Wintour and she’s got a hit television show, after all. But Blake wants to be a movie star. And she wants to be even bigger. Personally, I don’t think Blake has the talent to be truly A-List, but lots of A-Listers aren’t that talented, so whatever. Blake isn’t going to let anything stop her from being a movie star! She’ll even step on some important toes to make sure that people notice her:

Is “Green Lantern” star Blake Lively green with envy over Scarlett Johansson’s career?

Just a few weeks ago, the “Gossip Girl” actress was lauding Johansson’s performance as Black Widow in “Iron Man 2″ and telling MTV.com that she wanted ScarJo to teach her “how to fight” for “Lantern,” her first comic-book flick. But a super-connected source tells us the luscious Lively was simultaneously scheming to wrestle a plum part away from Johansson.

Our source says that soon after Gatecrasher broke the news that Johansson had verbally agreed to star in Alfonso Cuarón’s ambitious sci-fi survival flick, “Gravity,” Lively approached the “Children of Men” director to snag the role for herself before Johansson inked a deal.

The film, which relies heavily on computer-generated imagery, will reportedly tell the story of two astronauts – Robert Downey Jr. will play the second – who must figure out how to get back to Earth after an exploding satellite kills the other crew members on the mission.

Unfortunately for Blake, we hear Cuarón is dead set on having the Lamborghini-curved Johansson star in the 2012 3-D space thriller. So for the time being, Lively will have to content herself with the chance to act opposite Johansson’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and his scintillating six-pack. Lively plays Carol Ferris, the love interest of Green Lantern’s alter ego, Hal Jordan, who eventually becomes his enemy (and, if the movie franchise follows the comic book franchise, a supervillain named Star Sapphire).

Lively certainly sounds stoked to play the role. When MTV.com asked her if she enjoyed tapping her “inner bad girl” for the part, she replied that she would “love to get to beat [Reynolds] up! Best day ever!”

The website went on to say that Lively had the “perfect woman in mind to train her” to kick Reynolds’ butt: none other than Johannson. “Oh, I think she would beat him up, too! She’s Black Widow!” Lively said. “She was terrific!”

That recalls a line from “Godfather II”: “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” Lively’s spokeswoman did not respond to requests for comment by deadline.

[From NYDN]

Honestly, I don’t think what Blake did sounds that bad. Until ScarJo signed on the dotted line, it wasn’t official, and I can’t fault Blake for being ambitious and pursuing a part vigorously. True, it looks kind of desperate, and I’m sure it would turn off some producers and directors, but it also shows that she really wants to work. And yes, I think there’s probably a lot of competition (in Blake’s mind) with ScarJo. Scar probably doesn’t give a sh-t though. And after all, it’s not like Scar is some amazing actress – she’s really not. I think Scar is a good choice for Blake to emulate.

Blake Lively nerd-baits with her amazing boobs at Comic-Con

comic_con_green_lantern_05_wenn2937659

What did Blake Lively wear to Comic-Con? Satin harem pants and a blouse that shows off most of her breasts, of course. The nerds are definitely going to be seeing The Green Lantern now. Sure, they were excited about seeing it before, but now they know that Blake’s amazing (purchased?) boobs will be heavily featured. Ryan Reynolds looks okay too, I guess. Is it just me, or does his skin always look funky in candid photos? I think he fake-bakes, and it looks especially weird on him. Plus, he was making a lot of dorky faces, probably trying to fit in with the nerds.

Ryan Reynolds says he took the title role in “Green Lantern” to play a hero that can “throw a punch, tell a joke and kiss a girl.”

The actor, along with castmates Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong and director Martin Campbell, presented a clip from the film at Comic-Con Saturday for some 6,000 ecstatic fans, many of whom camped out overnight for a chance to see the presentation.

Campbell says the 3-D movie blends realistic action with humor and an otherworldly trip to the planet Oa, home of the Green Lanterns. He added that while the hero’s costume is “a work in progress,” his cinematic story is set: He is joined by his fellow Green Lanterns for a face-off against Parallax, whom Reynolds describes as “the physical manifestation of fear in our movie.”

The clip showed Reynolds as Hal Jordan, who, after a fight with street thugs, takes the Green Lantern oath and uses his new powers to blow them away. Reynolds recited the oath for the Comic-Con crowd, which rewarded him with cheers.

The cast seemed to embrace the Comic-Con energy, and revealed which characters they’d dress up with if they could walk the convention floor. Reynolds would go as a Wookie because he likes to “be cute and dangerous.” Lively would dress as Harry Potter and Sarsgaard would go as Captain America. Strong said he’d dress as his “Green Lantern” character, Sinestro.

DC Comics chief Geoff Johns hinted that other Green Lantern films, and a Justice League movie, could follow: “The success of ‘Green Lantern’ will lead the charge for everything DC does.”

“Green Lantern” opens in June of next year.

[From The Associated Press via Huffington Post]

Damn, it sounds like they’re really putting the future of comic book franchises on Ryan’s shoulders. Can he hack it? I don’t know. But I was reading some additional ocverage, and it really does sound like he was selling it, hard. He even name-dropped his famous wife, telling the audience that what with ScarJo playing The Black Widow in Iron Man 2,We’ve had some strongly worded dinners… we’ve probably got a lot more comic books lying around than your average married couple.”

He also did this for a very young fan… just wait, your heart will melt a little:

Here are some more photos of Blake’s boobs… I feel like we’re really close to seeing her nipple, and I also think she was trying to start a nerd riot (Ryan, Peter Sarsgaard and Mark Strong are also in these photos):

Blake Lively won’t even wear pants for her Vogue cover

voguecover

Blake Lively is pantless, yet again. Or should I say ALWAYS. She and Taylor Momsen have a thing about being pantless, although Blake is a legal adult, and her constant pantlessness is about trying to be sexy, whereas Taylor’s lack of pants is about being “hardcore”. Anyway, Blake is the unexpected cover girl for the June issue of Vogue Magazine, and the photo shoot is all about Blake at the beach, in little dresses or bathing suits, as best to see her perfect figure. I know she paid for parts of body, but still – the girl is gorgeous and healthy-looking, so I’m not hating this photo shoot. Here are some highlights from the article (full piece here):

blake4

On her part in The Green Lantern: “All I want is to be a hero to my nephews and nieces. I’m going to be the coolest aunt ever. Our director likes it real—the fights close and dirty,” she explains, and for added veracity aerial stunts are being filmed in the rig created for The Matrix. “I’m 40 feet in the air, spiraling around. That’s the best workout you can ever do because it’s all core,” she tells me. “You do that for ten minutes and you should see your body the next day! It’s so exhilarating, so thrilling—and nauseating!”

On wearing a wet suit to go surfing: “Of course you have to pee in your wet suit,” she declares with startling matter-of-factness. “It will keep you warm; they all do it.”

Los Angeles v. New York v. New Orleans: “I haven’t lived in California for so long,” she says sheepishly, “but my New York guise is gone. Ostrich flats don’t really work on the beach!” New Orleans has already lulled her into its gentler pace. “I’m used to that sweet, syrupy Southern mentality,” she says. “There is so much heart. I love, love, love New York, but it’s nice sometimes to have not so much to do—there’s time to walk through the park and to cook.”

[From Vogue]

Yeah, there wasn’t much. The whole article was about Blake and the Vogue writer, Hamish Bowles take a surfing lesson from “surf deity Rob Machado”. There’s a lot of bullsh-t about surfing that I didn’t really care about, I just want Blake to talk about who she’s boning and when she got her implants. By the way, the article does mention that she’s still with Penn Badgley, so he’s sticking with her even though there are rumors about her and her Green Lantern costar Ryan Reynolds, plus those old Ben Affleck rumors. It was probably nothing.

Really? Her? Don’t get me wrong, I do think Katy Perry is pretty, and she has a rocking body. Of all of the celebrity bodies that I think it would be awesome to have, Katy would definitely make my top ten (my number one is probably Blake Lively). Katy’s got a curvy yet athletic body, great proportions, nice legs and chest, and she looks all-natural to my eyes. But is Katy a good “number one” for Maxim’s “Hottest Women”? Not really. Of course, I’m just happy it’s not Megan Fox again. Here’s more about this year’s list:

Katy Perry has hit a high note: She’s been named No. 1 on Maxim’s 2010 Hot 100.

The 25-year-old singer – who’s engaged to Russell Brand and drops a new album this summer – is “a triple — no, quadruple — kind of hot,” Maxim Editor-in-Chief Joe Levy tells UsMagazine.com. “It’s that feeling you get when you suddenly realize that the smartest, funniest, coolest girl you know also happens to the best looking and a pretty good skateboarder, too. All of sudden, your crush goes supernova, and this is Katy’s supernova moment.”

Brooklyn Decker, who landed the coveted cover girl spot on this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, ranked No. 2, edging out Zoë Saldana (No. 3) and Blake Lively (No. 4). “This fiery Victoria’s Secret model makes even our female staff stop and stare,” the Maxim editor told Us.

Megan Fox, who was No. 2 last year, slipped to No. 5. The magazine still calls her “a sex symbol for the ages. Megan’s sultry looks hit every red-blooded guy right in the gut.”

Rounding out the top [10]: Rihanna, George Clooney’s Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, Olivia Munn, Kim Kardashian and model Marisa Miller.

Last year’s No. 1 girl, House star Olivia Wilde, dipped to No. 20. Wilde still managed to edge out Taylor Swift and Jessica Biel (Nos. 31 and 32, respectively) and Angelina Jolie (No. 38).

Missing from the list altogether: Jennifer Aniston.

So Blake made it to the top five. That’s good, she was my choice. Brooklyn Decker is beautiful, but does anyone else think her beauty is a little boring? Like, she looks like dozens of other models. If she wasn’t named after a borough, I wouldn’t be able to pick her out a lineup. Zoe Saldana is a lovely girl too, no complaints there. And I guess Megan Fox has some sort of contractual obligation to appear in the top five.

Now, I get that this list is for teenage boys, I really do. But in what world do teenage boys find Taylor Swift hotter than Angelina Jolie? Really? And Elisabetta Canalis…? For the love of God, who got paid off for Canalis to make it on this list?

Will forever-pantless Blake Lively do Playboy?

fp_4236992_lively_premiere_nyc_121709

I read this report over the weekend, and I found it a little… odd. The whole thing seems to have started in the current issue of the National Enquirer, which claims that Blake Lively has approached Playboy with an offer to pose nude. That in and of itself is sketchy, but the added twist is that Blake is asking Playboy to pay her $2.5 million for the pleasure. Now… why would she do this? She’s got a solid-to-hot career on television and she’s slowly breaking into films. She’s one of the more interesting girls on the red carpet, and she doesn’t really have any scandals around her, save for the fact that the girl will never wear pants. But that’s a plus in the industry! So why do Playboy? Because her mommy thinks it might benefit her career!

“Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively wants to shed her teeny-bopper image – by shedding her clothes for “Playboy”!

And she’s asking a whopping $2.5 million to bare it all for the cameras!

The 22-year-old actress — who plays Serena van der Woodsen on the hit CW show — started to consider posing nude after making the movie “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee” over a year ago, sources revealed to The ENQUIRER.

In the film she wore kinky bondage clothing and had a nude scene with Alan Arkin.

“‘Playboy’ had already been calling her — she figures a ‘Playboy’ spread now will really give her some heat in her career,” said a source.

Blake’s family is divided over whether she should do the photo shoot if “Playboy” meets her high price. “Blake’s mom has been in the business a long time, and she knows Kim Basinger and other actresses really benefited from posing for ‘Playboy’ early in their careers,” said the source.

“But her dad Ernie is old-school. He says, ‘Over my dead body!’”

Blake’s reps deny that the starlet wants to pose for “Playboy,” but the source insists it’s part of her plan to break away from her “Gossip Girl” image.

“The show has been a hit with teens, but she says she doesn’t want to get lumped in with the Jonas Brothers!” added the source.

“Posing nude would certainly distance her from her tween fans and put her in the adult world.”

[From The National Enquirer]

Is Blake Lively’s fan base tween girls? Do tween girls really watch Gossip Girl? I though only adult women and gay men watched Gossip Girl. And that’s Blake’s fan base, plus a healthy dose of perverts who have taken note of her constant pantlessness. So… in that respect, Blake would be opening herself up (get it?) to a new market – the mass market of heterosexual men who haven’t yet noticed that she’s constantly pantless and, oh by the way, she’s got absurdly perky breasts. And if she can pull down $2.5 million, sure. Why not? If I looked like Blake, I might consider it.

Blake Lively steps out in $1595 holey boots & no pants
Eric Daman Celebrates You Know You Want It

At what point do we need to begin our pants intervention for Blake Lively? Because this girl has a problem. It’s not a crack pipe problem or a Jack on the rocks problem or even a sex addiction problem. This girl is simply allergic to pants. She has a psychosomatic allergy to completely covering her legs and ass. Although, to be fair to Blake, this might the most covered up on a red carpet that I’ve seen her. At long last, right? I mean, what a East Coast winter to develop a pants allergy. She’s been freezing her ass off for months, strutting down red carpets in 20 degree (Fahrenheit) weather wearing little more than some fashionable booty shorts or a lacy camisole.

Anyway, this is Blake at the event for Henri Bendel on Tuesday night. The Huffington Post and Us Weekly both noted that Blake was wearing the awesome, new, perforated Stella McCartney thigh-high boots – that cost $1,595 - but no pants. Or, as HuffPo put it, “seemingly no pants.” Because what good are pants if it doesn’t seem like you’re wearing them? Oh, and she brought her boobs out again. The Henri Bendel event was for the publication of You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence by Eric Daman, who is Gossip Girl’s costume designer. And by that I mean “he made Blake the pantless wonder we know today.” Because who is Blake without the fashion stunts? Just another girl with a nice ass. At least Blake represents for her friends. That’s nice of her.
