Star Magazine wants us to know that after their date last Thursday, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Aniston are, and I quote, “on! on! on!” And so it begins. Allegedly, Jennifer and Bradley have known each other for a few years, and they were both in He’s Just Not That Into You (although they had no scenes together from what I’ve heard). There have been rumors about the two of them floating around since last year, but they got louder when Bradley and Jennifer were seen cozying up to each other at a screening a couple of months ago. After that, Bradley denied the rumors. Which made it weirder when he and Jennifer went to dinner last week. Maybe Bradley saw the coverage of the rumors and said, “Hey, me and Aniston. That’s not a bad idea.”
Which brings us to the Star cover story. Star’s online article doesn’t have a lot of meat, they’re just basically saying that they went out, had a good time, and that Aniston is “really excited” about Bradley, and that they have a “connection”. More breaking news: at dinner, they were holding hands! Gasp! Also, Star had a “typo” identifying Aniston as “30”. Don’t worry, I fixed it. In addition to that “mistake”, I’m pretty sure Star’s cover photo of Bradley and Aniston is an old picture of Aniston and Brad Pitt, with Cooper’s head photoshopped on. Oh, it’s on! on! on! bitches.
Jennifer Aniston and Bradley Cooper are on! on! on!
Days after sharing a romantic dinner together at Il Cantinori restaurant in Manhattan, Star has the scoop on the budding romance, including how Jen’s been bubbling to pals that she’s just so into the breakout star of the mega-smash movie The Hangover!
“Jen is really excited,” an insider says in our July 6 cover story. “She feels a connection to Bradley.”
That was clear during their June 18 dinner date. Throughout the three-hour meal, Jennifer, 40, and Bradley, 34, shared food and wine, laughed at one another’s jokes and acted like two kids falling in love. “I went over to say hi to them, and I noticed they were holding hands under the table because they let go to shake my hand,” an eyewitness at the exclusive restaurant tells Star.
While the idea of romancing Jen could be overwhelming for some potential suitors — after all, the ex-Mrs. Brad Pitt’s heartache is so legendary that even she makes fun of her relationship history — Bradley could be the right man for the job.
“Bradley knows that Jen comes with a lot of baggage,” says a source. “But he’s not denying he has feelings for her.”
[From Star Magazine]
“Bradley knows that Jen comes with a lot of baggage” is the understatement of the year. That being said, I’m kind of enjoying the tabloid press on this chrysalis of a relationship. It’s been nothing short of glowing – just yesterday, People Magazine fell all over itself talking about what a catch Bradley Cooper is. I agreed with CB partially on that one – I thought the coverage seemed written like a publicist’s press release, but to be fair, People does that all of the time. What I found fishy was the timing – but I suppose People, Star and the others are just thrilled they have someone new to connect Aniston with. The other stuff was getting pretty tedious.
Oh, and by the way – Bradley Cooper was photographed having lunch with a “mystery girl” on Monday. Some are billing this as “Bradley Cooper is a womanizer” or “Bradley Cooper already dumped Aniston” but I wouldn’t dare. Hey, perhaps the mystery girl is just a friend. Aniston could be just a friend too.
