So much for that “amicable divorce”. Eddie Cibrian’s estranged wife Brandi Glanville was in Las Vegas over the weekend celebrating her “divorce celebration-slash-get-away-from-your-life party” (her words) with some girlfriends. Of course, somehow, People Magazine managed to get another interview with Brandi about the whole Eddie-LeAnn Rimes situation. Brandi keeps going back and forth on how classy versus how bitchy she is about the situation. She’s given a couple of interviews where she seems like a really cool person – in other interviews, she seems hellbent on destroying both Eddie and LeAnn in the press. While I appreciate how much news Brandi provides, I’m starting to wonder what the deal is.

Anyway, Brandi’s new interview isn’t as hardcore as last week’s interview in the National Enquirer, where Brandi talked about how “shallow” and “toxic” Eddie is, and how he’s only after LeAnn’s money. Brandi admits that she had a “not pleasant” run-in with LeAnn, but fails to go into further detail about the incident. She also reiterates her basic point that LeAnn will spend time with Brandi’s two sons over Brandi’s dead body, basically:

In the midst of her divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian, Brandi Glanville is taking the opportunity to speak out against her rival, country singer LeAnn Rimes.

At the TAO/LAVO anniversary party in Las Vegas Saturday night, Glanville, 36, acknowledged that she has had a neighborhood run-in with Cibrian’s current girlfriend that was “not pleasant.”

Rimes, 27, and Cibrian, 36, took their romance public in August and have recently been staying at a house near the home Glanville used to share with Cibrian.

Still, the estranged couple – who are parents to sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2 – “definitely save face for the kids – absolutely, they are the most important things in both our lives,” Glanville said. In fact, Cibrian was watching the kids during Glanville’s weekend in Sin City.

Glanville added that she was in Las Vegas with girlfriends for a “divorce celebration-slash-get-away-from-your-life party. I’m just here to enjoy myself and relax.”

As for Rimes, who filed for divorce from Dean Sheremet on Sept. 1, “she can have most of everything,” said Glanville, “just not my children and my family.”

A friend of Rimes says of Glanville’s comments, “This is absurd. It just sounds like someone’s desperately trying to extend their 15 min here. Everyone else has moved on.”

Yikes. That comment from LeAnn’s “friend” was extreme, nasty and false. In my mind, you can’t really say someone has “moved on” when the divorce proceedings have literally just begun. I mean, the paperwork just got started less than two weeks ago! If Brandi, Eddie and LeAnn are still involved with ripping each other apart in the press four years from now – like, say, Mary Jo Eustace - then I’d say that LeAnn’s “friend” had a point. Oh, and LeAnn’s “friends” shouldn’t be making fun of anyone’s relevancy or fame, for goodness sake. It’s not like LeAnn is any kind of pop culture phenomenon. She’s just some squinty, irrelevant country singer that stalked the hell out of her costar on a Lifetime movie. Paging Andy Warhol.

UPDATE: Us Weekly just put up more extensive comments from Brandi, and it looks like she’s on the motherf-ckin’ warpath. Some of it is the same stuff that People reported, but then Brandi also says: “I have a new neighbor and her name is LeAnn Rimes. She’s moved in a half a mile from my house and a block from my son’s school. So she is completely space invading me at the moment so things are not cool… There is a point where she needs to have a sensitive side and back the F up… Honestly, she’s Single White Female-ing me. She wants my life. She wants my kids. She wants my husband. She can have most of everything but just not my children or my family.” Dude… I love the Single White Female reference, and my guess is that Brandi is right-on about LeAnn. She totally gives off the stalker vibe to me, and it’s interesting to see that verified by Brandi.

At first, I thought this report from the Enquirer was just going to be full of quotes from random unnamed sources claiming to be friends with LeAnn Rimes. I was in for a rude, yet not unpleasant awakening. The Enquirer has an exclusive interview with Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife (and mother of his two sons) Brandi Glanville, and she’s still got a mouth on her. It’s wonderful. A month ago, Brandi was giving interviews all over the place, telling everybody who’d listen that Eddie was a compulsive liar, an absentee father, a cheater and a homewrecker, and that Eddie and LeAnn “deserve each other”. After the initial flurry of interviews, Brandi got quiet and seemed to be playing a different game. I thought she was really going to give this whole “amicable divorce” thing a go, but it looks like that was just a pipe dream. Brandi has a message for LeAnn: Eddie just wants your money, moron.

But LeAnn, who’s worth an estimated $35 million, doesn’t seem to care, say insiders.

“Now that the excitement of the cheating is over, what else could there be? It’s the bank account,” Eddie’s soon-to-be ex Brandi Glanville told the Enquirer in an exclusive interview. “I know she’s spending money on expensive gifts like jewelry and vacations on him.”

Brandi says one of the places LeAnn has been spoiling Eddie is at the altra-expensive chic jewelry store Chrome Hearts.

“He might be pretty on the outside, but he’s toxic on the inside,” Brandi added. “He’s a shallow, shallow man.”

When pals have warned LeAnn that Eddie sees her as little more than a fat wallet, the singer has responded: “I’m a big girl, I know what I’m doing,” according to a source.

But even Eddie’s pals have said the actor has dollar signs in his eyes. When one complimented Eddie on the matching his-and-hers mountain bikes LeAnn had purchased, Eddie laughed and said: “Yeah, I’m working my way up to a Ferrari!” revealed one of his friends.

Hot damn, right? I love this kind of juicy interview. I’m now revising my opinion of Brandi once again – a few days ago I thought she was angling to piss off LeAnn by being more conciliatory to Eddie, but now I think Brandi is still out for blood. As for what Brandi’s actually saying – well, I’ll buy that Eddie is a “shallow, shallow man” and that he’s mostly interested in being with a LeAnn because she can support him financially. Especially after Brandi takes his dumb ass to the cleaners. However, I don’t think Brandi should be offering this kind of “advice” to LeAnn – Brandi should stick with her earlier “they deserve each other” instincts.

Last month, Eddie Cibrian formally filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville, after months of speculation and a very public affair with LeAnn Rimes. Last week, Brandi Glanville joined the divorce petition, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Brandi is also seeking spousal support and physical custody of their two sons, while allowing Eddie visitation rights. After spending a significant amount of time calling Eddie and LeAnn “liars” and “homewreckers”, Brandi seems in a much better place. A source close to her told People that Brandi and Eddie hope to “divorce amicably”.

Although his relationship with LeAnn Rimes played out under a media glare, Eddie Cibrian’s divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville promises to be less explosive. “Both sides are hoping to settle their divorce amicably,” a Glanville source tells PEOPLE.

Los Angeles Superior Court records show that Glanville, citing irreconcilable differences, is seeking spousal support from the CSI: Miami star as well as physical custody of their sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, with visitation for Cibrian. The actor filed for divorce last month and is also seeking shared custody.

Earlier this month, Rimes announced on her Web site that she and husband Dean Sheremet were divorcing following months of rumors of her affair with Cibrian.

Cibrian, 36, and Rimes, 27, met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall.

There’s further evidence that Brandi and Eddie are steadily maturing too. Over the weekend, they both attended (separately) their son Mason’s soccer game, and they were even photographed standing near each other and hanging out (photos here). Us Weekly notes that Eddie brought the folding chairs and umbrella, while Brandi brought her parents. No word on whether Eddie’s mom really is pissed at him for dumping Brandi, but it’s always nice to see a divorcing couple bury the hatchet for the sake of their children. Perhaps I’m just a dirty gossip (true story) but I think Brandi’s about-face on the whole “I hate Eddie, he’s a douche” thing is very interesting. My theory is that Brandi is looking for a way to drive a wedge between Eddie and LeAnn, and she figures that it will piss LeAnn off if Eddie is now getting along with his ex-wife. Brandi’s probably right.

The National Enquirer has a story about a subject that’s been hinted about in previous articles. Namely, that Eddie Cibrian’s mom is totally Team Brandi in the epic Eddie-LeAnn-Brandi scandal. The Enquirer basically claims that Eddie’s mom Hortensia doesn’t even want to meet LeAnn, and this is totally driving LeAnn crazy. Hortensia thinks Eddie should just finish with his strange and go back to his wife. Well played, mom:

Eddie’s mom Hotensia disapproves of his affair with the Grammy-winning singer, and refuses to meet or even speak to LeAnn, pals say.

“LeAnn is completely stressed,” an insider says. “She was hoping her new life with Eddie would have a happily-ever-after ending. But that’s not happeneing because Eddie’s mom is horrified that he ran off with her and ditched his wife Brandi. She sees LeAnn as a homewrecker!”

Adding to LeAnn’s insecurity, Eddie still hasn’t introduced her to his sons – Mason, 6, and 2-year-old Jake. Eddie even caught Mason’s soccer game on Sept. 12 by himself.

“LeAnn desperately wants to meet the boys, but so far Eddie hasn’t let her,” the source revealed. “When they hang out, it’s usually just the two of them. Eddie’s friends and family still haven’t adjusted to the idea of LeAnn on his arm.”

Despite a recent getaway to Mexico, the family tension has LeAnn fearing that Cibrian, whose mother is reportedly battling breast cancer, will dump her, said the source.

“Hortensia is hoping it blows over soon and he goes back to Brandi,” added the source.

The whole “Eddie doesn’t want to introduce his kids to LeAnn” thing is also a running theme in In Touch Weekly’s little story about Eddie and LeAnn. In Touch claims that LeAnn and Eddie are “shacked up” in a Beverly Hills home “just blocks away from Eddie’s children’s school.” According to IT’s source, “Eddie wanted to be close to his kids, because that is very important to him – although LeAnn hasn’t met the kids.”

Meanwhile, the source goes on to say that Brandi Glanville “is so angry… she doesn’t want LeAnn around her kids, and she feels like they are being really disrespectful. Brandi wanted nothing to do with Eddie after she learned he was seeing LeAnn.” I actually disagree. After Brandi spent weeks bad-mouthing Eddie to whoever would listen, she seems to be taking the high road as of late, almost as if she figured she could let “sources” do her dirty work. It doesn’t really matter – public opinion is on her side in that respect. Although if I were Brandi, I would be concerned about the kids too. LeAnn seems sort of Alex Forrester-esque.

Brandi Glanville, the estranged wife of Eddie Cibrian, is now a paparazzi target because of the drama happening between LeAnn Rimes and Eddie. This is an interesting phenomenon, and I don‘t think Brandi minds it one bit, even when she’s out with her kids (Mason, 6 and Jake, 2). This makes me uncomfortable generally, but I have to give this one video-paparazzo for E! News some credit. He spoke to Brandi while she was out picnicking with her kids, but he waited until she was alone by the car to speak to her, and he stopped filming after she talked to him. On Brandi’s side, she really didn’t seem upset with the paparazzo, or with the questions he was asking her.

Has Eddie moved his stuff out of the house yet?
Brandi: Uh… no comment.
Have you talked to LeAnn?
Brandi: I don’t speak to LeAnn.
Does she ever come over and see the kids or anything?
BG: Not to my knowledge.

According to E!, on Saturday Eddie Cibrian showed up for his son Mason’s first soccer game – and Eddie didn’t bring LeAnn, so at least he has some modicum of respect. I wonder what Brandi (who was also in attendance, and who ignored him at the game) would have done if LeAnn had shown up. Something involving a shank, I bet. Sources tell E! that Cibrian and Rimes are “not as serious as everyone thinks they are.” And! According to E!‘s gossips, Eddie has his own apartment, he and LeAnn aren’t really living together, and “He still hasn’t moved everything out of his house [with Brandi].” said the source. Eddie also hasn’t brought LeAnn over to meet his mom, which is some kind of big deal (who would have thought – Eddie is a mama’s boy). E! source says: “His mom and Brandi are like best friends. They are still really close. They just don’t talk about him.”

This totally contradicts the publicity campaign that LeAnn is running in the tabloids. In this week’s current issue of In Touch Weekly, LeAnn’s unnamed friends are all over the place, breathlessly harping on and on about how LeAnn knows that she and Eddie “can be together now” and how this is “no fling for LeAnn – she wants to spend the rest of her life with Eddie… she’s looking for their dream home.” That dream home must suit Eddie’s needs, of course: “He is excited for her to move and would prefer she live next to a golf course.” Yeah. He sounds totally into her, doesn’t he? Like Eddie knows LeAnn is boring as hell, but at least he might get some good golfing out of it.

I couldn’t resist. Page Six had this funny little piece about LeAnn Rimes – apparently, in her official announcement that she has filed for divorce from Dean Sheremet, she misspelled Dean’s name. LeAnn made the announcement on her website, and although I noticed that his name was spelled “Deane” in the coverage, I thought it was just People Magazine’s mistake. I didn’t realize LeAnn was actually married to a man for seven years and she never realized he spelled his name with only one “e”. Out of sight, out of mind, I suppose.

In other LeAnn Rimes news, she went house hunting this weekend in Los Angeles. She already has a home there, but I guess she’s not happy with Eddie Cibrian moving into the home she shared with Dean(e). So onto a new love nest!

LeAnn Rimes is literally moving on. Now that she’s officially split from husband Dean Sheremet and openly dating boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, the singer/actress needs a new place to call home in Los Angeles. Then it was on to something entirely different. LeAnn also looked at a sprawling ranch within a gated community in suburban Caabassas, and there are several other properties lined up for her to look over.

LeAnn and Eddie began their affair after costarring last fall in the Lifetime TV movie Northern Lights. For months they insisted they were “just friends” but finally went public as a couple this summer when they were spotted golfing and attending a concert. They’ve just returned from a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they opened cuddled on the beach.

Eddie filed for divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville on August 24. A week later, LeAnn wrote on her official website that the decision to split from her husband of seven years was “amicable.”

Now comes the dirty work of dividing up their respective assets but at least LeAnn and Eddie can do it from the comfort of their new love nest.

Yesterday, we had some early coverage on Us Weekly’s cover story this week, which is about LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, and how their exes are “speaking out”. Unfortunately, the online version of the story does not have some of Brandi Glanville’s patented hilarious, bitchy comments. It’s just a story about how Brandi and Dean Sheremt are becoming friends, “supporting each other” and how they’ve slowly been putting the pieces together of their spouses’ infidelities. Dean is quoted as saying the situation he’s in is “bizarre” and “surreal” – but I think that interview was done before LeAnn filed for divorce yesterday.

As LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian began going public with their relationship in August, her ex Dean Sheremet quietly reached out to Cibrian’s ex Brandi Glanville, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now).

“They have been supporting each other,” an insider says of the pair, who first met last fall while visiting their spouses on the Calgary, Alberta, set of the Lifetime romance Northern Light.

At the time, they didn’t know an affair had begun. Now, the source tells Us Weekly, “They’ve put the pieces together about the last few months, and they’re developing a good friendship through this.”

It will be interesting to read the full text of this story, because I’m really curious to see if Dean has more to say. My thoughts were always that Dean was going to keep his mouth shut and hope for a generous settlement from LeAnn – she’s already buying him off with a new apartment and life in New York, and I’m sure she’s not so big of a bitch as to try to cut him off in the divorce proceedings. Actor Eddie Cibrian is breaking his silence in wake of his bitter divorce from his estranged wife Brandi Glanville and scandalous affair with country pop star LeAnn Rimes. This past Monday, the CSI: Miami star filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to end his seven year marriage to the former model.

Now, in a statement released by Cibrian Thursday, the actor says: “From the outset I have made a conscious decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the press. So he’s basically telling his ex-wife to shut the hell up already. I’m sure Brandi will take that under advisement. Here’s the thing – I know that Eddie is a womanizing douche, a liar, and a pretty disgusting man. But I’m not so sure he’s a bad father. The tabloids are all over this story this week. Most of them are highlighting a very LeAnn Rimes-friendly version for some reason. Every source points out that Eddie has been spending most of his nights at LeAnn’s house in Brentwood. In Touch Weekly takes a more judicious point of view, calling in an “expert” to tut-tut that Eddie and LeAnn are “acting like teenagers instead of adults.” In Touch also points out that Dean Sheremet is moving into a New York apartment that LeAnn is paying for, but Dean still tweeted “Dishonesty is the most deplorable quality” the day after LeAnn and Eddie’s outing to a Kings of Leon concert.

Star Magazine has a source who claims “LeAnn knows she found true love with Eddie… Now she wants the rest of the world to know it too! She wants to be able to go everywhere with him… She feels like the worst is behind them and now they can be happy together.” Star points out that LeAnn is – wait for it – already making wedding plans. LeAnn has “already subscribed to Brides Magazine and talks about getting married in Las Vegas… as soon as both their divorces are done, they’re heading to Sin City! She’s dying to be his wife and call herself Mrs. Cibrian. She even wants to give him more kids!” Oh, barf. She and Eddie really do deserve each other… just wait until he gets another Lifetime movie, honey.

Eddie Cibrian has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville, according to E!. Eddie filed earlier this week, and Brandi went straight to E! and People Magazine to dish the dirt and get out a few more bitchy statements. Which is totally her right, and I hope she keeps it coming. First, here’s E!’s report – Brandi jokes that she’s “looking forward” to seeing pictures of Eddie and LeAnn Rimes on vacation:

Eddie Cibrian, who is finally romancing LeAnn Rimes out in public (sort of), has filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Brandi Glanville, E! News confirmed Tuesday.

“He filed yesterday and I accepted it,” Glanville told E! exclusively. “We’re getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday.”

Which was just in time, apparently, because it turns out that Cibrian is already planning a romantic getaway with his “new” girlfriend, according to his soon-to-be ex-wife.

“They’re going on vacation this weekend to Mexico,” Glanville, who has made no secret of her feelings toward the recently separated Rimes, told E! “I’m looking forward to seeing those pictures.”

A rep for Cibrian had “no comment” at this time.

Glanville and Cibrian, who have two children together, confirmed about a month ago that they had separated—a good four months after rumors arose of an affair between the 36-year-old hunk and Rimes, his costar in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Rimes and estranged hubby Dean Sheremet revealed just days later that they had been living apart “for quite some time.”

Which apparently didn’t come as a surprise to Glanville, who says in the latest issue of Us Weekly that Cibrian is “a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker.”

“Eddie’s displays of poor taste have hurt our two children,” she said. “Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl.’”

But now that divorce proceedings are under way, Glanville is seeing things in a more positive light.

Brandi also gave a good interview to People yesterday, where she talked about how she met LeAnn when she and Eddie were working on Northern Lights. Brandi noticed how LeAnn and Eddie flirted with each other, but she also noticed how close LeAnn and then-husband Dean Sheremet seemed. Recalling when she and Cibrian went on double dates with Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet in Canada during the filming of Lifetime’s Northern Lights, Glanville says she noticed a little flirting between the costars.

“We went to play pool, went for sushi, dancing,” Glanville tells PEOPLE, adding that although she’s used to woman fawning over her husband, “it was different this time. It was a little more reciprocated.”

At the same time, Glanville noticed how affectionate Rimes, 27, was with Sheremet, 28. “They were very touchy-feely,” she says. “They seemed happy. [But] I felt like it was almost like ‘I love my husband. I’m not after your husband.’”

After reports of an affair surfaced in March, Glanville, 36, says she and Cibrian, 36, sought counseling to try and salvage their marriage, and she publicly stood by in him in April.

“We were in therapy, but he never stopped talking to [LeAnn] so how could that have worked?” asks Glanville, who says she plans to file for divorce.

Cibrian and Rimes took their relationship public last week – one month after Rimes and Sheremet announced their separation – at a public golf date Thursday and a Kings of Leon concert Saturday.

Now, Glanville says she’s been “trying to get a hold of” Sheremet. “I feel bad for Dean. It’s a horrible situation for him. I don’t think he’s ready to have a conversation about not being with her.”

Brandi is the nagging reminder to all of those people who are all “Oh, LeAnn and Eddie make such a cute couple!” No – they do not make a cute couple. Eddie is a douchey womanizer who cheated on his wife, and will cheat on LeAnn because that’s his nature. When you look at it that way, Brandi seems to be right – they do deserve each other.

While Eddie Cibrian’s estranged wife Brandi Glanville continues to issue hilariously bitchy statements to the press, LeAnn Rimes’ estranged husband Dean Sheremet has been keeping a very low profile. After the initial separation announcement, the only public statement Dean made was via Twitter, where he wrote: “Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time.” Now sources are telling Fox News 411 that Dean is already preparing to move out of the Nashville home he and LeAnn shared for during their seven year marriage. Dean is moving to New York – and he’s taking the dogs with him. Ouch.

It looks like Eddie Cibrian is free to move in with LeAnn Rimes in Nashville if he wants, because her husband Dean Shremet has moved out and on with his life.

Sheremet, a songwriter and one-time back-up dancer for LeAnn, has vacated their Nashville mansion to move into his own bachelor pad in New York City, FOX411 has learned. The Michigan native has been visiting NYC over the last month checking out apartments, and he packed his things and moved out of their Nashville home last week.

And he took their dogs with him!

“Dean is moving on, looking for work and creating a fresh start in New York City,” an insider close to Sheremet tells FOX411. “He’s excited to be in New York and plans to take advantage of his connections over the years to focus on his career.”

“LeAnn has clearly moved on with Eddie in California and it was time for Dean to make a major change of his own,” the source continues. “He’s trying to stay friends with LeAnn, but her public relationship with Eddie is no easy thing to avoid. Dean is a nice guy, trying to live a normal, quiet life.”

Meanwhile, Eddie’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Brandi Glanville continues to dish on Eddie’s less than stellar parenting.

A neighbor of the Cibrians tells FOX411 “there was a time when they were a happy family. They shopped together and went to the park with their two young boys. It is very sad to see it all come falling down. Brandi is so angry at Eddie, I’m not sure they will ever be able to get past all the deceit.”

While I think it’s great that Brandi Glanville is being so vocal about her anger, I also applaud Dean’s silence. Whether or not those pesky rumors are true (that he’s gay, and/or that he and LeAnn had an open marriage), I think Dean is showing a great deal of class with the way he’s handled things thus far. No matter his sexuality, it’s got to hurt him on some level to see his wife so openly moving on with Eddie Cibiran. I’ve got to wonder if there’s something other than respect and love motivating him.
