If I’d have bet on this relationship, I’d certainly be out a few dollars. Camilla Belle and Tim Tebow have called it quits! The two young quasi-lovers had been dating since this past summer when they were spotted grabbing kisses and holding hands, and it was apparently very serious stuff. Tim had already introduced Camilla to his parents, and it was widely reported that he believed (rightfully or wrongfully) that Camilla was a virgin and “the woman of his dreams,” which would seem quite appropriate for a young NFL star who is intent on saving himself for marriage.

Now Camilla and Tim have reportedly and sadly broken up, so we are free to hypothesize over the reason that Tim dumped Camilla. He totally dumped her, right? Let’s just go with that assumption. Now, was Camilla trying to get Tim into bed, and was it like that silly scene between the two virgins of Twilight: Eclipse where Bella is trying to get Edward into the tacky, golden bed, and he’s all, “But all I have left is my virtue!” Or … is it a case of Tim finding out from mysterious sources that Camilla isn’t exactly as virtuous as she seems?

After less than two months of dating, the New York Jets quarterback and actress Camilla Belle have called it quits, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.

Explains the source of Tebow, 25, and Belle, 26: “It just didn’t work out.”

Tebow and the Push actress were first spotted bowling with pals at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville, Florida on Oct. 30. “They were grabbing kisses and holding hands . . . They were having a great time together,” a witness said at the time of the Hollywood beauty and Tebow, a devout Christian who has said he plans to remain a virgin until marriage.

Before Belle, Tebow had been falsely linked to Glee’s Dianna Agron and Taylor Swift. Speaking of Swift, 22, Belle dated the singer’s ex, Joe Jonas, from 2008 to 2009.

You know, I really thought Camilla was going to pull this one off. Theoretically speaking, she had the perfect resumé — dating Joe Jonas of the mandatory purity ring — to end up with Tim Tebow. Of course, her prospective success could only be predicated upon the validity of said purity ring and/or the likelihood of Tim Tebow believing that Camilla was an actual virgin when he started to date her. Last week, we covered the shocking news that Tim Tebow is not only dating someone, but the lucky lady (relatively speaking) just happens to be Camilla Belle, who is best known for dating Joe Jonas for about nine months a few years ago. Joe Jonas, of course, is best known as one of the trio of (semi-musical) brothers who made a huge deal out of wearing purity rings. Of course, Joe Jonas also dated Ashley Greene, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift, and these chicks don’t exactly seem like they’d be down with dating a dude who is using his purity ring for anything other than a publicity stunt. So my question is this … would Joe Jonas, who in 2008-2009 could have commanded the interest of countless young starlets, choose to date a girl who wouldn’t put out over the course of nine months? This is doubtful, but Tim Tebow, who has made no secret of saving himself for marriage, seems to believe that Camilla Belle is indeed a virgin as well. In fact, Tim has allegedly been dating Camilla since this past summer, and he’s so wild about her that he’s already thinking of marriage according to the Enquirer:

Self-proclaimed virgin and football star Tim Tebow is so head over heels for his new girlfriend that he’s already sizing her up for marriage, sources tell The Enquirer. The lucky lady is Camilla Belle, 26, a knockout brunette who shares the 25-year-old quarterback’s conservative views on premarital sex.

“Both say they’re virgins,” an insider divulged. “They’ve been dating secretly since the summer, but they can’t hide their love any longer. Tim is looking for a woman so he can have a proper engagement and church wedding, and he’s told friends that Camilla fits the bill.”

The highly religious twosome — he’s a devout Christian raised by Baptist missionary parents, while she was raised Catholic — were spotted getting affectionate during an Oct. 30 date at Latitude 30, an entertainment center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Tim, who plays for the New York Jets, has been open about what he wants in his wife. In September, he told a reporter: “Obviously looks play a part…but there’s also so much more than that for me. It’s about finding someone sweet and kin — and that has a servant’s heart. It’s about finding a girl who likes me for me, and not because of what I do or who I am or the name.”

Camilla dated singer Joe Jonas for about nine months after starring in one of his band’s music videos, but they ended the relationship in July 2009. Meanwhile, plenty of women — including reality star Kim Kardashian — have made a play for Tebow, but pals say Camilla’s the first to capture his heart.

“Tim calls her ‘the woman of his dreams,’” added the insider. “He’s anxious to make Camilla part of his close-knit family.”

That “servant’s heart” thing freaked me out at first, but then I realized that it’s a popular sentiment within Christianity. Also, I honestly don’t know whether or not Camilla is a virgin, but I think that she (at the very least) must have taken great care to covet such an image by dating one of the “purity ring” brothers. Even if the move wasn’t calculated, she’s certainly benefiting from the Jonas shtick since she managed to land Tim Tebow. It’s not like he’d ever know whether or not she was a virgin if they got married, right? I mean, he’s got no experience down there, so he really wouldn’t notice if anything was amiss. Dude is just going to be so happy to finally get some.

Poor Tim Tebow. I mean, he can’t throw a football worth a damn, but that’s not the real issue here. What is relevant to our concerns is that — ever since he became a household name — many very concerned parties have been keen to set him up with anyone who also fits the following criteria: (1) a household name; (2) female; and (3) single. So when Katy Perry split with Russell Brand, her parents tried to arrange a church meeting between her and Tim. Then Katy dedicated “Peac*ck” to Tim while he supposedly flirted with Maria Menounos. In the meantime, a pre-Kanye Kim Kardashian laughably tried to set up a date with Tim, but he wasn’t going there. As if that wasn’t enough, Tim was also supposedly caught in the crossfires of both Dianna Agron and Taylor Swift (that last one is actually believable), but it seems that he had another lady on his mind that entire time. Hmm, Camilla Belle. She’s a very pretty girl, isn’t she? Classically beautiful and very under the radar (in a sense). TMZ has a photo of Tim and Camilla together, and let’s just say that I’ve never been attracted to Tim Tebow, but his size is … impressive. Oddly enough, Camilla also dated Joe Jonas for awhile, and she may have hooked up with Sparkles while she and Joe were an item. Camilla was also the next chick that Jake Gyllenhaal dated after Taylor Swift, if that means anything at all, which it obviously doesn’t. Or does it?

Here’s kind of a final post for the Met Gala with some of the younger fashion ladies, all in lighter color dresses and all looking so pretty. I just couldn’t resist talking about them. It seems like with these big events, the more we look the more photos and celebrities we see that we want to cover. I’m especially taken with how lovely these younger girls look, and it gets me a little wistful for my youth. I know they’re all celebrities and are used to getting dressed up and dolled up, but it still must have been special for them.

First off is Dakota Fanning in a very pale lavender chiffon Louis Vuitton. Unlike poor Jessica Chastain, LV did right by Dakota. I love the structural elements of this dress along with the off the shoulder v-neck and fitted bodice. It’s very suitable for an 18 year-old girl and it looks young yet sophisticated. I like this look a lot, along with her simple styling. Check out the pretty matching flower brooches in her hair. They’re a nice touch.

Leighton Messter of Gossip Girl also went for a pale color. She’s in champagne color Marchesa, of course. I should have known this ice skater dress was Marchesa. It’s so ugly and the busy embroidered skirt is even partially see-through. Have you heard that Marchesa is going to be doing casual clothes now? I hope that never comes to fruition. Meester is a lovely thing, but this dress makes her look too princessy and much younger than her 26 years. I don’t pay a lot of attention to Leighton and I honestly assumed she was about 22. A lack of makeup is also making her look like a teenager. Also, Leighton reminds me that Blake Lively wasn’t there! She was probably too busy feathering her nest with Ryan Reynolds upstate.

Camille Belle is the star of this group for me. She’s a knockout in silver beaded Ralph Lauren with a deep v-neck. I love the contemporary look of the transparent netting holding up the dress. The flapper style of her hair and makeup compliment the look perfectly. Her makeup is a little severe, but that’s a very minor complaint. Look at the back of that dress, it’s amazing. Like Leighton, Camille is in her mid 20s at 25. I assumed she was younger since I remember her dating one of the Jonas Brothers. Those kids have grown up too.

And finally here’s Lily Collins, 23, in tulle and lace Valentino couture. I find this dress very fussy with the lace on top of the flowery underlay and the frou frou bow at the waist, but somehow it works on Lily. Maybe I’m just feeling generous today. On another woman I might really dislike it, but I think she’s working it well. Look at how it’s kind of flowing away from her in this pose.

Here are some more photos from that LACMA tribute event to Clint Eastwood – both Evan Rachel Wood and Camilla Belle came out for the event, and both wore Gucci (Gucci was the sponsor). Let’s talk about Evan first, because… obviously. She’s the bigger star, and there’s more to talk about. First, her dress – I think this “flapper” style suits her figure very well, and the gold and black works. I’m honestly not crazy about the dress, but I’m giving Evan a pass because she’s the kind of girl who can make items (that I don’t care for) work in interesting ways.

A few weeks ago, I complimented Evan’s makeup work while she was in London, promoting The Ides of March with George Clooney. Her makeup guy Toby Fleischman got in touch with us and thanked us for noticing – you can see his website here. If you want me to ask him about Evan’s styling and makeup, just tell me and I’ll email him. Once again, Evan’s got the kind of look where she can pull off stuff that I’m not usually crazy about – on anyone else, I would think her eye makeup is too dark for such a pale girl. But if you really look at the whole outfit, and the entirety of her styling, the makeup is helping. It’s her hair that bugs me. But her hair is so short now, and if she had poofed it up instead of doing these structured “flapper waves” I think it would have been worse. There’s not much else she can do, so at least she went for consistency with the whole look. And I absolutely LOVE her nails and her earrings.

And onto to Camilla Belle. Camilla’s dress looks a lot like Evan’s in colors and graphic theme. I think Evan wears it better, and I dislike Camilla’s hair more than I dislike Evan’s hair. Oh, and did Camilla’s maekup guy attempt WHITE cat-eyes? Evan and Camilla both have great figures, though. Sigh…

As I mentioned earlier today, Jake Gyllenhaal was reportedly flirting his ass off with every girl available at the Golden Globes after-parties. By the way, you should totally go back and read my thing from this morning – I just want you to watch the video of Jake and Ryan Seacrest flirting with each other. It’s incredible. Anyhoodle, Jake’s girl drama took the cover of In Touch Weekly this week – apparently, some “sources” are telling ITW that Jake was getting hot and flirty with another Joe Jonas ex, Camilla Belle the night before the Globes: “They hung out together the entire night. They were talking intimately, and laughing. There really seemed to be chemistry, a connection. Jake and Camilla were flirting all night. And before he left, I saw him very affectionately touching her arm. She is definitely his type.” Actually, his type is petite blondes (which includes Ryan Seacrest). Jake, 30, was spotted hanging out with Camilla, 24, at the Art of Elysium “Heaven” Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening. While the meet-up may have raised eyebrows amongst some Taylor fans, Jake’s rep exclusively tells Celebuzz that the pair are “not dating.”

RadarOnline previously reported that the pair “hung out together the entire night” and were spotted “talking intimately.”

“Jake and Camilla were flirting all night,” a source told RadarOnline. “And before he left, I saw him very affectionately touching her arm.”

Taylor fans were shocked to hear that Jake was reportedly getting cozy with Camilla since the 21-year-old singer has been feuding with the Disney singer for years.

Yeah, speaking of Swifty’s prowess as a lyricist (rolls eyes), it was inevitable. We all predicted it. At this point, it’s just Taylor Swift’s M.O. She dates a guy with gayish tendencies, he breaks her heart (usually by dumping her over the phone), and Swifty then writes a whiny song about everything, adding some references to ponies, glitter, kittens and high school. Well, PopEater’s sources are saying that Swifty is likely already recording “The Jake Gyllenhaal Song”. They also say that she’s kind of depressed and she’s not ready to date anyone again.

Delving into her work since the recent split with Jake Gyllenhaal, Taylor Swift isn’t in a rush to find another guy.

“Taylor is not exactly a loner, but she fares well on her own and will be fine if she doesn’t hook up with a guy immediately, ” a source close to Swift tells PopEater.

According to several reports, Swift hasn’t recovered from the breakup and isn’t her usual bubbly self. If anything, she’s busy in the studio working on her breakup song. In the past, Swift, 21, has written plenty of songs about ex-boyfriends including Taylor Lautner and John Mayer.

Her relationship with Gyllenhaal, 30, was short but looked promising. After hanging together after a segment of ‘Saturday Night Live’ in October, the couple began seeing each other in New York, Nashville and London. Although they tried to keep things secret, they were spotted through the end of November in those cities, including a stint in Big Sur, Calif., walking on the beach and nibbling on ice cream cones.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, the couple spent time together in Brooklyn with Jake’s sister, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and her husband, Peter Sarsgaard. After that, Swift and Gyllenhaal flew back to Nashville for a few days where they were seen holding hands, embracing and sipping coffee.

“While people expected them to spend the Christmas holidays together, they were each photographed separately in different cities,” says the source. “It looked like things didn’t work out.”

SOB! Oh, how much do you love the idea of Camilla Belle and Swifty being arch-enemies? It’s fitting, isn’t it? Camilla Bella is a pretty girl, but she’s a Bosworth. No, scratch that – she’s worse than a Bosworth. At least I know why I know Bosworth’s name. Camilla is even less than that. Anyway, I hope Swifty’s Jake song is heart-wrenchingly awkward, with references to Seacrest, sparkle-ponies and Mattress Girls.

The rumor going around last month was that Camilla Belle was stepping out on her Jonas Brother with none other than sparkly Robert Pattinson. Camilla denied it of course, and organized a very fortuitous and well-timed photo-op with Joe Jonas, both of them looking casual and very much together. Perhaps Camilla got tired of the purity rings though, because her rep confirmed to E! that Camilla and Joe are no more. Of course the rep remembered to mention this little bit: “There is no third party involved…” Who said anything about a third party?!? Oh, right. I did. The National Enquirer is reporting that Camilla and Robert have had an undercover romance for a while now – one of her friends totally sold her out, saying, “She and Rob have been meeting up with each other for months, and she talks about him all the time.” Seriously, get off my boyfriend. No matter that Camilla is still dating Joe Jonas, the oldest virgin Jonas Brother. No matter that Joe’s mother probably thinks Camilla is trying to “seduce” her mama’s boy every two seconds. Joe Jonas is the latest Hollywood hunk to lose his girlfriend to Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson!

Pattinson has secretly been hooking up with Joe’s gorgeous 22-year-old squeeze Camilla Belle, sources tell the Enquirer.

“I’ve known Camilla for most of her life, and I’ve never seen her so crazy in love,” a close friend of the actress told The Enquirer.

While Camilla’s publicist denies she’s been seeing Rob, the friend added: “She and Rob have been meeting up with each other for months, and she talks about him all the time.”

But Joe Jonas isn’t the only guy smarting from 23-year-old Rob’s mega-pull on Hollywood’s young beauties.

Rob was eyewitnessed kissing Kristen Stewart in Vancouver AFTER the cameras stopped rolling on their sequel New Moon.

News of that hookup certainly unsettles Kristen’s steady boyfriend, former “24” actor Michael Angarano, who’se been dating the brunette beauty since she was 16.

Pattinson has also been linked to Emile Hirsch’s friend Erika Dutra, Twilight costar Nikki Reed and actress Shannon Woodward.

“Obviously, Camilla has some competition,” said her friend.

I seem to remember hearing that Camilla is extremely ambitious, and she has no qualms about using her relationships to get famous. So was the photo-op to contain the damage, or perpetuate the drama?
