Did anyone else completely forget that Ashley Greene and Chace Crawford used to go out? CB reminded me of that – they dated in 2009, around the time when Ashley’s naked photos “leaked”. But according to Us Weekly, they’ve known each other for seven years, and they’ve probably been fooling around all that time. Us Weekly claims that following Ashley’s split from Reeve Carney, she’s been hitting up her ex/friend-with-benefits for a while now:

Ashley Greene is on the rebound: she just split with her beau of 10 months, Reeve Carney, in August and she’s been cozying up to CW star Chace Crawford. The two were spotted smooching at the Gossip Girl wrap party in NYC, at the club Tenjune on October 20.

“They hook up whenever she’s in New York,” says a source. Their history dates back to Crawford’s days at Pepperdine University in Malibu, when he met Greene, then an aspiring actress in LA.

“They’ve known each other for seven years,” says an insider of the duo. Notes a pal of Crawford, “I don’t think they’ll get together for real. They keep it casual.”

Poor Chace. He’s like the forgotten Gossip Girl. People only really pay attention to Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick, but Chace exists! And I think he’s probably a lot dirtier than people think. Remember how Shauna Sand told Star Magazine that she deflowered Chace when he was only 18 years old? Yeah. When you’re first time is with Shauna Sand, you know that boy isn’t as clean-cut as you’d think. Haha, Ashley is dating/fooling around with someone who banged Shauna Sand. Ugh.

I didn’t even remember that Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford were together in 2008 as some sort of couple. I’m really reporting this because I think Carrie is calling out Chace Crawford for staging fake relationships. She told Now! Magazine (dubious source, but still) that she was unsure why Chace was with her back then and feels like it was a publicity stunt. Here’s what she said, and you can tell Carrie is parsing her words.

Carrie Underwood says dating Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford back in 2008 was definitely one of the biggest mistakes she ever made in the romance department. “In my heart, I knew it wasn’t right,” she told UK’s NOW Magazine. “You never really know why someone is with you. I feel like it was more of a publicity stunt.”

I looked up what Carrie said about the relationship at the time, and she admitted that they broke up over text message. She also said that the media made more out of it than it was. “It’s difficult while you’re dating because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are.”

So did Chace spurn her and is she getting back at him for using her for fame, or is she saying that they never really had much going on? Back in 2008 there were plenty of rumors about Chace and his costar Ed Westwick, who were living together at the time. Those two laughed it off and denied there was anything romantic going on between them. Chace was also spotted vacationing with N Sync singer JC Chasez in 2008, and Chasez similarly denied a relationship with him.

Carrie has a history of talking smack about her exes so this doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s calling out Chace for staging a fake relationship. She told Esquire that her song “Cowboy Casanova” wasn’t about her ex, Tony Romo, because “I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit.” What about “Before He Cheats?”

Chace Crawford is now said to be interested in ESPN sportscaster Erin Andrews. According to US Weekly’s latest print edition the two have gone on dates “a couple times” and “they’re getting to know each other.” A source close to Andrews says “she only sees him as a friend.”

Update: Thanks to those of you who pointed out that Tony Romo is now married to Chace’s sister, Candice Crawford, with whom he just had a baby. So that may be affecting Carrie’s view of her relationship with Chace quite a bit.

Last night was the premiere of What to Expect when You’re Expecting, that ensemble clip show romcom that looks really cringe worthy. I doubt it will be a big success at the box office, but I could be wrong. It could be a mommy daddy date night movie, which it was probably pitched as. Battleship and The Dictator are also out next weekend, and Avengers will probably still be holding on strong, so we’ll see.

So here we have some of the main stars of the film, minus Jennifer Lopez. Why was J.Lo not there last night? Was there some last minute drama with Casper forgetting to take his ADHD medication? I’m really surprised that she wasn’t around, trying to work an inappropriately small dress with a cutout around the waist and styled to the hilt like she’s in one of her music videos. She’s done a lot of press for the film so it’s bizarre to me that she didn’t go to the premiere.

Instead we have Cameron Diaz, dressed way down in a open comfortable-looking white top and loose black pants. She looks like she’s wearing a waitress uniform at a decent restaurant. This is one of those nice-looking casual outfits you throw together for a night out and then realize that you’re dressed exactly like the wait staff, so you try to hold it in and not get up to go to the bathroom. It’s a perfectly nice outfit for a night out with friends, but I don’t think it’s fitting for a premiere. She could have chosen one of those tight short dresses that show off her killer legs.

Cam recently talked to Access Hollywood about growing older and how she thinks it’s cool. Unlike some other actresses I won’t name, it doesn’t sound like she’s blowing smoke. This is a woman with the world at her feet who is secure in her own super-fit skin. She even says she loves her ass, basically. Here’s more:

“I love getting older,” Cameron told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of turning the big 4-0 at the “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” junket in Los Angeles on Friday. “I think it’s such a blessing.

“Look, the alternative to getting older is [being] dead, so…” she trailed off with a laugh. “I feel very fortunate to have a very full, loving, blessed life, so, I’m living it to the fullest.”

Beyond the obvious benefit of aging, the blond beauty said she’s savoring the mental and spiritual growth that occurs naturally with added life experience.

“As I get older, I become happier — because I’m wiser, I know myself better [and] I connect to people better,” she explained. “I think that in our society we don’t honor older generations enough because we think of it as being bad because the appearance changes.

“I say, embrace it. I love getting older, I love everything that comes with it — I’m better in every way because of it,” she continued.

Cameron is known for her legendary bikini body and she admitted her physique is improving with age.

“My ass is definitely higher than it was when I was 20,” she told Shaun. “This is the thing that people don’t understand — take care of your body [and it will] get better! It gets better as I get older. Absolutely.”

Cam’s philosophy seems to be that if you’re not getting older you’re dead, so you may as well embrace it. I like that approach. Does “taking care” of your body in Cam’s world mean getting a little jab here and there? Just askin’.

Meanwhile the other stars of What to Expect also looked kind of beat. Brooklyn Decker was in a white tube dress like she was having dinner seaside after a day at the beach.

Elizabeth Banks was in this beaded asian-style flower print and striped accent dress. This is Peter Pilotto, and it would have been a much better choice for her Met Gala look instead of the disaster of a dress she chose. It’s a little too busy for the red carpet.

Two weeks ago, TMZ announced that Chace Crawford had been arrested on a possession charge in Texas. Unfortunately for Chace, he was sitting in a car with a friend outside of a bar, and the cops pulled up, went through the car and found ONE JOINT. It was unlit, and it was not in Chace’s possession at the time, it was in the car. But that didn’t stop Texas from formally charging Chace with possession, a charge that could lead to six months in a Texas jail. Anyway, Us Weekly is now reporting the “inside story” on Chace’s arrest and how his parents are dealing with the shame… of having a son who sits in a car with an unlit joint.

Chace Crawford could spend up to six months in jail if he’s convicted on his misdemeanor charge of pot possession — but he’s already in the dog house with Mom and Dad.

After his June 4 arrest in a parking lot outside a Plano, Tex. bar, “his mom called him crying,” an insider close to Crawford, 24, tells UsMagazine.com.

“He comes from a very good family, and his parents were so upset that his mugshot was everywhere,” the insider says of mother Dana and father Chris.

Cops busted Crawford and a pal inside a parked car after they discovered an unlit marijuana joint. Following the incident, another pal insisted the actor was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time: “He wasn’t smoking, the pot was in the car, and it was his friend’s.”

“Ultimately [his parents] did believe him when he explained the joint ‘wasn’t his,’” the insider adds. “But they were still unhappy to have their son’s name associated with drugs.”

A third Crawford source explains the family is “upper middle class.” Dana and father Chris “weren’t strict parents — just always had high expectations.”

Accordingly, Crawford’s summer party plans will be extra subdued, the insider says. “Don’t expect to see Chace out clubbing anytime soon. He’s going to be laying low for awhile after that.”

Plus, the TV star will have a prestigious new big-screen project to keep him busy. Crawford has signed on to star alongside Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener in the indie drama Peace, Love and Misunderstanding, Variety reports.

I’ve said it before, but I do feel for Chace. That being said, his parents sound rough – it‘s seriously not the end of the world. Chace’s shot at the presidency isn’t necessarily shot, you know? Last Friday, the cops in Plano, Texas caught themselves one of the most horrible crimals in the country – Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford. The crime? Chace had one joint on him. He wasn’t smoking it or anything, he just had a joint in his pocket (Chace’s story: there was a joint in the car that he was sitting in). The cops arrested him and hauled his pretty-boy ass in, so now we have this skuzzy-yet-pretty mug shot. I think Chace is about to throw up a gang sign! *Clutches pearls* Anyway, today, Friday the 11th, Texas formally charged Chace with one misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. Guess what kind of sentence comes with one misdeamenor possession charge in Texas? Six f-cking months at most. Can you believe that?

Crawford was busted with a pal in a car parked outside a pub in his hometown of Plano, Texas on June 4; police discovered an unlit marijuana joint.

“He is pissed,” an insider told Us Weekly immediately after the arrest. “He wasn’t smoking, the pot was in the car and it was his friend’s.”

Yet an old frat brother of the actor’s from Pepperdine University says the star indulged back in the day. “In college, we use to cut class and go lie on the beach and smoke weed,” the pal says. “It sucks that he got arrested!”

Meanwhile, Lindsay is doing lines of cocaine mixed with Ritalin and Adderall in between shots of Stoli and tweeting her ass off on probation. And Chris Brown is off somewhere, coloring in his map of the country of Europe. Honestly, if Chace was charged in another state, I think he would get away with probation or some minor jail time, if he was charged at all. But it’s Texas – something tells me that some prosecutor somewhere in Plano is thinking about “making an example.” I never thought I’d say this, but I feel for Chace, and this whole incident does make me like him a lot more. Poor kid! And before anyone cries double-standard, look – Chace isn’t some crackhead like Lohan. Before this incident, I thought he was totally vanilla and goody-two-shoes. And it really does seem like he truly wasn’t doing anything. Eh.

If I was to place a bet on which young Hollywood star was going to be arrested for possession, Chace Crawford wouldn’t have even made my top ten list. Kristen Stewart would have been number one, actually – you know it’s just a matter of time before the police come knocking on her door. But Chace? Mister I’m-A-Perfect-Texas-Gentleman? Eh. Of course there were signs that he was a bit more hardcore in real life. He and Ed Westwick were roommates for several years. And Chace dated Shauna Sand. That should prove he’s capable of anything:

One joint? POTHEAD! Seriously, one motherf-cking joint? That’s kind of sad that he got busted. Maybe it’s a Texas thing – hardcore cops who will bust a guy over one joint – and he wasn’t even smoking it, it was just in his pocket or his car or whatever. I’m also shocked it’s a misdemeanor – but that’s just my view of Texas. In my mind, they throw you in jail forever over something like one joint. Long-term, though, the pot bust might even help Chace’s image. It gives the pretty boy a sense of danger.

Thus far, we’ve pretty much avoided covering Kelly Rutherford’s never-ending divorce drama, and I hope it will remain that way. But one thing is for sure – Kelly is ready to move on with her life, and Star Magazine is reporting that Kelly has her eye on none other than her Gossip Girl costar, Chace Crawford. Chace is 24 years old – Kelly is 41. So you can guess how Star started their report – as some kind of “Cougar Alert”.

Yeah, the Shauna Sand thing makes me think that Chace would be up for it. Of course, it also makes me think that he has a specific type, and Kelly isn’t it. Well, no one ever claimed that Tony Romo did not have a type. He likes them with “the bigger the hair, the closer to God” blonde hair, he likes them busty, he likes them with a lacquered-on, beauty-queen smile and he likes them with some kind of Southern twang. Oh, did I mention? Tony Romo has a new girlfriend. Second verse, same as the first!

Her name is Candice Crawford. She’s Chace “Man Bangs” Crawford’s little sister. Candice was also the 2008 Miss Missouri. Apparently, Candice and Tony have been friends for a while, even hanging out together while Tony and Jessica Simpson were dating. For all we know, Candice may even be one of Jessica Simpson’s “friends” who admitted to hooking up with Tony.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback, 29, is dating Chace Crawford’s little sister, Candice, a 22-year-old beauty queen who looks strikingly similar to Romo’s ex Jessica Simpson, a source close to Romo confirms to Usmagazine.com.

“She’s not happy that it’s out [in the media], but they weren’t trying to hide,” a source close to Candice tells Us the day after CelebTV.com first reported the coupling. “They’ve gone out to dinner in Dallas a bunch.”

Candice, who was Miss Missouri 2008, isn’t the first younger, skinnier version of Simpson that Romo has hooked up with.

Months before he dumped Simpson on the eve of her 29th birthday in July, Us Weekly reported he was sending flirty texts to 22-year-old Natalie Smith, the daughter of the associate athletic director at Romo’s alma mater, Eastern Illinois University.

He even brought Smith to one of Simpson’s concerts.

“They’re not officially dating, but they are having an intimate relationship,” a source told Us at the time.

Candice has a website too! Candice tells us: “I am currently completing my senior year at the University of Missouri in Columbia. I have a broadcast journalism major and a minor in business. My goal is to establish a career as a reputatable journalist upon graduation in May.” Emphasis mine – I’m leaving the spelling error there, just to show all of the other aspiring professionals out there how easily it is lose “reputatability”. I’m not trying to put myself out there as the most professional person or anything – my filthy dog is leaning on my sweatpant-clad legs as I type, but you know what? At least I’m wearing a bra. That’s my stab at professionalism, because I’m not a great speller either, or a beauty queen who created my own glossy website to promote my “reputatable journalist” career. Yesterday we saw both nude photos of Twilight star Ashley Greens, 22, and a picture of her smooching Chace Crawford in the back of a limo outside LAX airport. Was that just a coincidence or is the young Ashley trying step out of the shadow created by the hot relationship between Twilight’s top two stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart? Ashley plays vampire psychic Alice, and she’s getting some attention now that these photos are out.

Ashley lawyered up very quickly and sent cease and desist notices to blogs and websites that published those naked self portraits. According to her lawyer, they’re “illegal and are being unlawfully displayed.” It took Vanessa Hudgens months to issue cease and desists on her first set of nude photos and by then they’d already served their purpose and she’d benefited from all the publicity.

So did Ashley leak these photos herself? The timing is pretty good for her as she’s currently promoting New Moon, out in November, and just appeared at the Teen Choice Awards. If she did do it, she’s smart to have sent out legal notices right after the photos were leaked. It either makes it seem like she’s really concerned about the violation of her privacy – or like she was already prepared to make it seem like the photos were released without her consent. She does look very attractive and well-groomed in them.

Meanwhile it’s good sense to get involved with Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford. The last we heard about Chace’s lovelife was in early June when just about every tabloid reported that he was involved with Sports Illustrated model Etzi Ginzberg. According to a source quoted by E! Online’s Ted Casablanca these two have “known each other for a while,” and “used to hook up actually back when he lived in L.A. It was never anything too serious. It was before either of them were famous.” How convenient for Ashley that she’s back with Chace right when it could help her career. There were at least two photographers outside the car when she was kissing Chace because I’ve seen those photos at two different photo agencies. So, is her career on the rise and does that make her more of a target or is she doing whatever she can to make sure she gets some attention right when she needs it?

It was the bromance that launched a thousand blind items, and now it’s over! US Weekly is reporting that Chace Crawford has packed his bags and moved out of the apartment he shared with Gossip Girl costar Ed Westwick. The blind items were always about the gay rumors, but doesn’t that seem a little too obvious? If they were really in the closet, do you think they would have moved in together and stayed bromantic roommates since 2007? No, it’s much more likely that Ed and Chace are just two heterosexual guys who tricked out their bachelor pad to be like a Manhattan mini-Playboy Mansion. But alas, they outgrew each other. US Weekly claims that their living arrangements were hampered by Westwick’s messiness:

Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford has moved out of the NYC apartment he shares with costar Ed Westwick, a source tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

The two have shared the apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood since they both first moved to the city after being cast in the hit CW series.

The source says Crawford — who will star in the upcoming reboot of Footloose — moved out on Monday and into a rented penthouse apartment in the luxe Dwell 95 building in NYC’s Financial District.

The reason for Crawford’s change of scenery? Apparently, Westwick is a slob, and Crawford couldn’t take the mess any longer, a source tells Us.

Most likely the “slob” defense was only part of the reason – they were probably just a little sick of each other, and sick of the gay rumors. Years ago, I made the mistake of moving in with my best friend, and she was such a bad roommate, it kind of destroyed our friendship. She was really messy, yes, but it had more to do with her being a total slut who was only attracted to guys that I was interested in. She just did it to piss me off – she was so passive-aggressive like that. I totally bet Ed Westwick is like that.
