Highlighting the fact that she’s happily married and hot as ever with a thriving career while Britney Spears, well – isn’t, Christina Aguilera said that she’s oh so broken up by the fact that Britney couldn’t make it to the MTV movie awards this year:

In case you want to give Aguilera the benefit of the doubt and don’t think this is a dig at Britney, read what she said about Britney’s wedding with K-Fed two years ago:

They may have served chicken wings and hamburgers, but the wedding wasn’t all that trashy. A rare hand-beaded invitation to the Spears-Federline wedding along with an initialed party favor candle is for sale on eBay for nearly $1,000. The favors were classy even if the relationship never will be. The eBay seller should have waited until the divorce announcement in order to drive up the price.

Christina Aguilera performed her new single “Ain’t No Other Man” at the MTV Movie Awards on Saturday. It looks like she removed her skirt onstage and stripped down to a pinup-worthy one piece bathing suit. That’s about as far as she’ll go now – she recently was convinced by her husband, Jordan Bratman, not to take her top off for a magazine. She wanted to go topless to prove that her breasts were real, but her husband was said to be “horrified” by the idea.

Aguilera’s new album is inspired by the jazz era and includes gritty elements that add authenticity to her pop sound. You can download the first single, “Aint No Other Man,” in mp3 format.

The first single off Christina Aguilera’s new album is incredible. It’s catchy with a great beat, some carefully added retro elements, and Xtina’s strong vocals. Christina’s new retro-influenced album, “Back to Basics” will be released on August 15th. She will sing the single you can download below, “Ain’t No Other Man,” on the MTV movie awards on June 8th.

Christina Aguilera appears in new Pepsi ads airing overseas. In the latest ad shown below, she riles up fans in a soccer stadium. She’s also seen in an earlier ad (link leads to YouTube video) recording in the studio and singing onstage.

The Maxim 100th issue party was held on April 8th at Club Tryst at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. While Christina Aguilera and Haylie Duff showed up, Paris and Nicky Hilton are noticeably absent from the arrival and inside pictures of the party. We know that they were at the Maxim weekend event as they attended the poker tournament the day before.

The sisters must have been too exhausted to party on Saturday night, because Perez Hilton reports that they were out quite late with a group the night before. Vanessa Minnillo had a cat fight! Paris also gave an impromptu performance of her entire CD at club Pure at 2:30 in the morning.

Oh no. The crap has just begun with Paris’ album. You can bet her singles are going to get more airplay and become stuck in a loop in your head worse that Madonna’s “Hung Up.”

Christina Aguiera has bought one of “art terrorist” Banksy’s works, a piece of pop art depicting Queen Victoria in garters sitting on a woman’s face. The artwork cost nearly $44,000, and Aguilera is said to be thrilled with her purchase:

Banksy has pulled daring and dangerous stunts to get his art noticed. In March, 2005, Banksy snuck his art onto the walls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Brooklyn Museum all in one day. Banksy painted scenes on the Palestinian side of Israel’s security wall last August that created the illusion of a tropical paradise and mountain views on the other side. He was threatened by Israeli security forces soon afterwards, and was lucky to escape.

Banksy never allows himself to be photographed, presumably so he can continue his art pranks.

Christina Alguilera’s latest album is a departure from the pop genre and will feature jazz-inspired songs with an authentic feel. Alguilera says her “Back to Basics” album, which is due out in June, has a “20s and 30s vibe.” Called one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Aguilera’s description suggests it won’t dissapoint:

We detailed earlier how Christina chose rap producer DJ Premiere to produce five tracks for her album. It sounds like Christina’s newest release will be a commercial and critical success.

Christina Aguilera surprised a rap producer by asking for him to collaborate on her new album. DJ Premiere has worked with Notorious B.I.G., KRS-One, Jay-Z, Nas and Jadakiss, but did not expect the pop singer to know who he was. Premiere produced five songs for Aguilera’s Back to Basics album, which should be out this June:
