Courtney Love has a featured spread in next month’s Bazaar magazine, on stands August 21st, but snippets of her interview have already leaked out online, and all I can say is, she’s one hypocritical bitch. I can handle most flaws, but hypocrisy isn’t one of them. She goes off on the unhealthy eating habits of thin starlets. This from the woman who appeared to lose at least 50 pounds in just a few short months. Seriously, she shocked everyone.

“’I’ve lost a lot of weight, and I have done it through being quite disciplined… Some people think it’s about weight loss, but it’s about detoxing. I hate reading magazines where the actresses are saying ‘Broccoli and fish, broccoli and fish.’ You liars. You bulimic liars.’”

Um, I call bullshit on every single word that just came out of her mouth. What? Courtney Love, the queen of all things shot or snorted, is telling people she lost weight naturally by detoxing? That’s such crap. No one loses that much weight like that, and I don’t think anyone believes her. They’re called amphetamines. I’m sure you know them well. Who the hell does she think she is? Just because it comes out of her mouth, we’re all supposed to buy it? Since she lost all that weight, she’s been accused of having an eating disorder by just about every article written about her. So I guess she’s just “paying it forward” so to speak.

So she doesn’t have an eating disorder because she gained 10 pounds from eating too many cupcakes? Maybe she gained 10 pounds to get people to stop talking about how she was too thin… just a thought. Either way, I think it’s hysterical that she calls people hypocrites for wondering if she has an eating disorder, and then a few days later the Bazaar article is leaked where she accuses thin celebrities of being bulimic. What I really want to know is, when is she going to take responsibility for those collagen fish-lip injections she had? That wasn’t fair to the rest of us, making us look at those things.

Someone had some bad work done to their mouth. Courtney Love looked disheveled and sweaty after a gig in London last night. She played at Bush Hall and then went back to her hotel room to celebrate her 43rd birthday with 20 friends. Comedian Noel Fielding was seen escorting her.

Courtney’s gig was small and was reserved for friends and winners of a competition. She was playing new material off an upcoming album.

While on stage she complained about the smoking ban in England, saying “The only place I can smoke in England is the Houses of Parliament! That’s so retarded!”

Maybe Love should take the smoking ban as a sign. It was reported in June that her doctor told her to quit smoking after finding nodules in her throat. That can’t be good for a singer.

It seems the older ladies had an excuse that Sharon should be all too able to identify with.

Courtney Love may be sober now apart from the chain smoking, but she remains scattered and deluded, of that there is no doubt. In this interview with British Pop magazine, in which she bears her sloppy soul and body for some publicity for her scrapbook memoir, she reveals that somehow her daughter Frances Bean turned out ok despite having her for a mother. She said that Frances has never kissed a guy or tried drugs, that she refuses to get involved with projects related to her late father, Kurt Cobain, and that she’s a “square,” a term Courtney uses with pride.

Courtney also claims that Gavin Rossdale sent her a diamond ring in 1996 after she had dated him for about eight months. She says she was hanging out doing chores for Edward Norton at the time, and that she got Norton to date her by tossing Rossdale’s ring into the river. She seems to suggest that Rossdale would never have been with Gwen Stefani if she didn’t dump him first. She states that she doesn’t see Gwen Stefani as an “enemy or a problem,” but clearly she does or she wouldn’t phrase it that way:

Edward [Norton] was a tough one, too. It was about eight months of me pretty much going grocery shopping for him every day before we dated. Nobody knows this but I dated Gavin Rossdale for eight months and on Valentine’s Day 1996 or ’7 I did not go and see Bush play in Little Rock, Arkansas. Me and Edward were in Memphis and I got sent a pretty diamond ring from Gavin. Not an engagement ring but it was… something. I said to Edward, “If I throw this ring that Gavin. Not an engagement ring but it was.. something. I said to Edward, “If I throw this ring that Gavin gave me into the Mississippi river, do you think that we’ll go out?” He turned to me and said, “There’s a slim chance… But if you do not throw it in the river there is no chance.”

So you did it? “Of course I did it. Gavin is such a gentleman. Nobody gives him credit, but he didn’t kiss Gwen Stefani until the next day that I didn’t show up in Little Rock. Isn’t that a sweet story? I adore Gavin. I miss him, actually. That’s one person who’s not in my life now because he’s married to Gwen and whatever. I don’t consider Gwen an enemy or a problem, she’s just… It is what it is.”

Courtney goes on to tell some pointless story about how she told Gwen Stefani that she would write lyrics for her the one time she met her by accident at a studio or something. Somehow Courtney was nude sitting there with a woman in her panties when she met Gwen, but supposedly they weren’t doing anything sexual with each other. I didn’t really get it.

Courtney said Mel Gibson got her to go to rehab by camping outside her hotel room, and claims she knew that Gibson would get busted for DUI before it happened.

She attributes all her success in life to Buddhist chanting, and says that all the successful people she knows are spiritual.

She was in a rough relationship with Steve Coogan when this interview was given, but has since broken up with him. She tried to “save” him, but says that she “cannot have people that take drugs in my life.” She was also linked with comic Russell Brand recently, but claims they’re just friends after meeting up one night.

Courtney Love is reportedly going to pose topless in little panties in a European magazine (link has automatic video) that will be published at the end of this month. They must have talented Photoshop artists there since she’s not looking that hot lately:

No stranger to controversy, rocker Courtney Love is set to get headlines flying again — she has posed nude for an upcoming issue of British fashion magazine, Pop, Access Hollywood has learned exclusively.

The widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain appears naked in several pictures of the trendy, two issue a year magazine, expected to hit newsstands later this month. Prior to beginning promotion for her new book ‘Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love,’ a scrapbook version of her journals, Love traveled to Ibiza, Spain for the shoot and cover story.

Images in the piece seen by Access Hollywood show the former Hole frontwoman standing strongly, legs apart and her breasts fully exposed, while strappy, designer panties cover her bottom half. Others show the blonde fully naked with her knees curled up.

According to sources close to the singer, Love was not planning to disrobe for the shoot, but chose to after becoming “comfortable” with the photographer.

Courtney Love’s new autobiography “Dirty Blonde” is said to be a scrapbook mess of a book in which the rock star lays bare her nasty life. Now we get to see her goodies again too.

Lindsay Lohan was seen out and about this spring with 20 year-old British model and singer Jamie Burke, who also went out with Kate Moss briefly.

Lindsay had lunch with Burke, who looks like a 90s grunge verstion of Johnny Depp, at paparrazi hot spot The Ivy yesterday. She came in with a bunch of friends but then Jamie joined them, and Lindsay was all too willing to be photographed with him. It seems like The Ivy is Lindsay’s favorite way of announcing to the press that she’s banging an old boyfriend.

Burke was also recently photographed holding hands with 42 year-old Courteney Love! They went to another paparrazi-target restaurant, Mr. Chow, and it looked like they were out on a date:

Despite the couple’s 22-year age difference, they made sparks fly!

This guy must have an album coming out or something he wants to promote, because he got rid of Lohan back in the spring and he can’t be dumb enough to get back with her. And Courtney Love? That’s got publicity stunt written all over it.

According to a Courtney Love fansite, Mel Gibson once visited her in her hotel room and staged an intervention for the troubled rock star. When a high Courtney refused to let Mel in, he waited until a delivery guy came to the door and then busted in. It’s unknown exactly what happened in that hotel room over a year ago, but Courtney got sober soon afterwards and now considers Mel her personal saviour:

That’s ironic and all considering that Mel never went to rehab himself after his high profile DUI arrest over a year after supposedly saving Courtney. He entered a “program of recovery” which was presumed to be outpatient since he never checked himself into a facility.

I didn’t pay attention to Mel Gibson’s two part drawn-out interview with Diane Sawyer because I was really sick of him at that point, but considering that he said he felt “powerless over everything,” it’s safe to assume that he’s going to AA meetings.

Courtney Love appears on the cover of celebrity photographer Dave LaChapelle’s new coffee table book, Heaven To Hell, cradling a skinny look-alike of her late husband, Kurt Cobain, in an image that mimics Mary holding Jesus after his crucifixion. Love’s blue dress is gathered to suggest Mary’s robes and Cobain lies limp on his back with track marks in his arms that are suggestive of Jesus’ wounds. The picture is typical of LaChapelle, who uses sets, costumes, and perfect lighting to achieve provocative and highly stylized images.

Cobain died in suspicious circumstances in 1994. He was found with what was ruled a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, but also had more heroin in his system than it is believed he could have self-injected. Some claim that the details of Kurt’s death suggest that Courtney conspired to murder him with the help of Michael Dewitt, the Cobain’s male nanny. (See, all mannies aren’t benevolent. This image is gorgeous and is meant to invite controversy. I don’t find it offensive so much as in poor taste. Assuming that Cobain committed suicide, would you pose with a look-alike of your dead husband – in a pose that suggests he’s dying? Then again, Courtney doesn’t really give a shit because she does a lot of things that people would find offensive. At least she’s somewhat sober now.

When Paris and Stavros were shown on the Jumbotron at a Lakers game on Easter Sunday, she got booed by the crowd despite the fact that she was wearing a Lakers shirt:

It’s not very Christian to diss people publicly, is it? Of course we wouldn’t know.

Brent Shapiro was the 24 year-old son of famous attorney Robert Shapiro. He died of a drug overdose last year despite being sober for a year and a half and turning his life around. He died after drinking and taking just a half tab of ecstacy. The Brent Shapiro foundation aims to raise awareness about drug abuse and decrease the stigma associated with discussing the problem.

It looks like Courtney and Paris are exchanging numbers. No comment.

“Ex” drug addicts Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss, and Courtney Love are going to Hawaii together to give the world’s paparrazi some well-deserved time in the sun.

Somehow Moss and Love consider themselves older mentors to Lindsay, who has no public drug scandal or stint in rehab yet:

The trio may be celebrating Moss’ recent triumph over the drug scandal she suffered when a video was released last year of her snorting cocaine. All criminal charges against Moss are expected to be dropped and she should have no criminal record. Moss wisely did not admit to any wrongdoing when questioned by police.

Moss recently received a £1million advance from Virgin Books to write a tell-all autobiography of her cocaine abuse.
