Denise Richards accused Charlie Sheen of molesting their daughters

Last week Denise Richards dragged Charlie Sheen into court for the 283,492 time – this occasion being some sort of legal “emergency” regarding their daughters. Of course Denise made a big to do about it –that’s what you’ve got to do when the ratings for your crappy show are in the toilet. Must make sure everyone’s aware of every little detail in your life. As a result of the vague phrasing, the internet was abuzz with speculation regarding just what type of emergency had taken place.

The New York Post says Denise accused Charlie of molesting their daughters. The article isn’t clear about exactly what type of molestation Richards accused Sheen of, but no matter what the judge thought the accusations were baseless and threw the whole thing out.

Denise Richards went too far when she falsely accused her ex, Charlie Sheen, of molesting their daughters - and now Sheen will move for full custody of the kids by charging that their mother is a liar. A source said, “Denise’s accusations were vile. She was basically trying to say Charlie [manipulated] the kids and acted inappropriately with them. It’s disgusting and totally untrue. Charlie is furious . . . Denise has really pushed it too far this time.

“She came after Charlie because the ratings on her E! reality show [’It’s Complicated’] have tanked and they were threatening not to renew,” the source said. “She thinks a court battle would be good for ratings so she wants all overnight visits with the girls ceased, and monitored visits with her nanny. She invited the media circus to the hearing and even wanted reporters in the judge’s chambers - which wasn’t allowed. It’s ridiculous.”

Sheen is said to be so furious, he’s “out to prove Denise’s lack of veracity and sue her in civil court for defamation. Then he’ll sue for child custody… Charlie has now been forced to take a stand and do what’s best for the girls,” our insider said. Reps for Richards and Sheen declined comment.

[From the New York Post]

If Denise really fabricated these accusations to get ratings for her show, I truly hope she loses custody of her kids. Not just as punishment, but because that kind of behavior is truly indicative of severe mental and emotional instability. Both Sheen and Richards seem off their rocker – to the extent that a lot of commenters have said they can’t figure out who the crazy one really is. I think it’s seeming more and more likely that Denise is the real head case. If she’s prioritizing her television show over her daughters, she should be severely, severely punished. And they should be safeguarded.

Here’s the media drama surrounding Denise Richards as she left the courtroom after the emergency hearing in Los Angeles last Monday. Images thanks to WENN.

Britney and Kevin reach custody settlement: Kevin to get sole custody

Britney Spears has agreed to grant sole physical and legal custody of her two children, Sean Preston, who turns three in September, and Jayden James, nearly two, to her ex husband, Kevin Federline, 30. The 26 year-old pop star will receive visitation rights under the new custody arrangement. Both sides have agreed on the settlement but it needs to be approved by the judge, and Kevin and Britney are expected in court this morning. Kevin’s attorney says that it’s a thorough custody statement which also has provisions for when Britney is no longer under a conservatorship by her father. This means that there will be no custody trial as anticipated:

K-Fed’s longtime attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan exclusively tells E! News that the divorced duo have reached a settlement in their long-gestating custody case.

According to the agreement signed by all parties, Federline gets sole legal and physical custody of sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and Spears will have visitation rights.

“The case has been settled,” Kaplan said. “The court still has to approve it. ” Both parties are due in court Friday morning.

The case had been set to go to trial next month but all had been hoping to settle up beforehand.

“As of this evening there is a fully executed deal memo…All the issues that would have been addressed at trial have been settled,” Kaplan told E! News. “Can’t speak to the exact terms of the deal. Orders in place…will stay in place.”

But although this is theoretically good news for Federline, Kaplan maintains that this isn’t exactly what his client had in mind.

“Kevins was not [out] to get custody. Kevins goal was to set up some kind of template so the mother of his children can co-parent,” Kaplan said.

“He said I need to have Britney to be involved in the coparenting of the kids but I need there to be a structure.”

But this is the structure he got and “Kevin is absolutely delighted,” Kaplan continued.

“Nobody could have anticipated the terms of events that have occurred….This was a two-year journey that will be halted at a point that is good for these children. Custody is always modifiable. If there is a final order, it means there is nothing to try.”

Spears has been enjoying monitored visits with her boys since late February after temporarily losing any on-hand-mommying privileges following a stretch of noticeably erratic behavior on her part and two brief hospital stays.

Federline’s camp has credited the influence of Spears’ father Jamie, who was appointed a coconservator of his daughter’s estate Feb. 1, for helping to get the 26-year-old popster back on track.

A court commissioner is scheduled to review whether the make the conservatorship permanent at the end of this month. If the arrangement were to end, what then happens to Spears’ current deal?

“While I can’t tell you the terms, the order does anticipate what happens if the conservatorship is ended,” Kaplan told E! News. “The devil is always in the details and this is a very detailed deal memo.

“Nobody can predict what the future will bring but …to the extent possible I think we have really anticipated how to proceed.”

[From E! Online]

It’s been a long and expensive custody process for Britney and Kevin, with Britney responsible for paying most of the legal bills for both sides. It’s very likely that the total legal bills have exceeded half a million considering that Britney paid $375k to K-Fed’s lawyers way back in March. This has to be a welcome but bittersweet settlement for Britney. She’s finally back on track after all her problems earlier in the year, many of which were exacerbated and arguably caused by Sam Lutfi drugging her for months against her will. She gets to see her boys again but it will never quite be the same after what she went through. Hopefully for Britney it’s enough and she’ll be able to continue healing and working toward sobriety and a stable life with her children.

Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen back in court again

I’m not exactly sure what Denise Richards is famous for, I thought she was a glamor model (as in, posed in Playboy a few times) but apparently she also had a film career. Then she got too old to swan about nude, which for most of us was around 4 but for her it was 30, so now she stars on a reality television show. Despite her nudity and topless paparazzi chasing (NSFW), the show isn’t drawing in viewers, so she’s decided to drag out her divorce/custody battle. Again. Denise has filed an emergency protective order for her children, citing ’serious issues’ at Charlie’s house.

According to (Charlie’s lawyer Martin) Singer, a judge was planning to deny the motion when Richards’ family lawyer, Neal Hersh, asked if he could withdraw the motion and refile it before another judge on Monday.

Hersh told E! News that he is planning to return to court next week to argue the motion.

Which, as far as Sheen’s camp is concerned, won’t have quite the same impact as taking a swipe at the Two and a Half Men star today.

“In my opinion [Hersh] did it today to tie into the Emmy nominations, and, in fact, Charlie got an Emmy nomination, so I think it was timed for that reason,” Singer told us. “I wonder if she had a producer from E! there helping her put on her show.“ (E! Online is a division of E! Entertainment.)

Sheen earned his third straight Emmy nod for his lead role as a womanizing jingle writer in Two and a Half Men, which is again up for Best Comedy.

To which Hersh responded, Huh?

“Mr. Singer focuses far too much on celebrity clientele,” Hersh told E! News this afternoon. “I focus on issues. I had no idea that today was the Emmy nominations whatsoever or do I care, one way or another. We went to court today because we felt it was necessary and appropriate.”

“Denise has made her position clear throughout these proceedings and her position is, all the judicial officers and the files have been sealed, but all the things have been clear,” Hersh added. “And she is not saying one thing in private and one thing in public.”

E! Online

I know that Charlie Sheen has a history of less-than-sane behavior, including visiting Hollywood hookers, shooting his fiancé accidentally, dating adult film stars, doing drugs and gambling. Not to mention that he claims to have bedded over 5,000 women, which when you take into account that old safe sex saying about ‘remember, you’re sleeping with everyone he’s ever had sex with’ it kind of puts you off. Despite this less than stellar personal history Charlie Sheen actually seems like the sane one in this custody battle.

What is Denise claiming is unsafe in his home? What ‘serious issue’ stops the kids from visiting Charlie? Is the toilet backed up? I am starting to wonder if Denise Richards is trying to interfere with Charlie’s personal happiness, taking him to court the week of the Emmys, and giving interviews about what a creep he is the week of his new marriage. Next time you break up with someone and want some revenge, don’t drag your kids into it Denise. Just sew some shrimp into his curtains or order 30 pizzas to his house.

Note by Celebitchy: The emergency order was about to denied by the judge when Denise’s lawyer withdrew the papers and ask that they be sent to another judge. Richard’s lawyer denies he’s judge-shopping for someone who will be sympathetic to their case and claims that the judge just realized one of her colleagues, who is currently on vacation, is more familiar with the issues brought up in their case and would be better qualified to preside. Charlie’s lawyer says Denise is trying to get publicity for her reality show while working to deny Charlie visitation. [details from TMZ’s updates to the story]

Christie Brinkley vows she’ll never marry again

After the way her last marriage went, you can’t really blame Christie Brinkley for being turned off by the institution. And after a total of four marriages, the model now claims she will never marry again. Which is probably for the best. While the court-ordered psychiatrist said she was healthy and sane, and that her anger at ex-husband Peter Cook was to be expected – he also said she needs to work on her “choice of male figures.”

“I’m not going to marry again,” the model, 54, told the New York Post hours after her trial ended Thursday. “I know too much about the marriage laws and divorce laws. Getting married again would not be a very intelligent thing to do.”

At her trial, a court-appointed psychologist said Brinkley “needs to start working on deeper issues,” including “her choice of male figures.” Still, she says airing her dirty laundry at the public trial was worth it. “I’ve got my sweet freedom!” said the model, who retained sole custody of her kids and will keep all 18 properties in the Hamptons that were being disputed. (She agreed to pay the 49-year-old Cook $2.1 million.)

“I was fighting for my family,” Brinkley said. “I think when you’re fighting for your family’s well-being, almost anything you have to go through is worth it.” She kept a sense of humor when asked if she were glad the ordeal was over. “I was down to my last outfit!” she cracked. “It had to end.”

[From Us Magazine]

Christie gets to keep all of her 16 Long Island properties – which cook wanted, arguing that while she paid for them, he helped pick them out. And of the $2.1 million he was awarded, sources say the vast majority of it will go to his legal bills.

New, improved Britney shows up in court for her kids

I’ve been reserving judgment, and too scared of turning blue to actually hold my breath, but TMZ is reporting that the weaved wonder, Britney Spears, has actually shown up to her custody hearing this afternoon - on time and without the Brown Boots of Mental Illness. TMZ has the blow by blow report, and sources say that Brit and her slimeball ex, K-Fed, may be close to hammering out a mutual custody agreement out of court.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have just entered the courtroom and their case is about to begin.

Brit walked in with her hands clasped in front of her, looking down. Someone told her she looked good and Brit just smiled back. According to all accounts, “Brit looks good.”

Kevin and Britney were both sworn into court. A motion to close the court was granted — so everyone was kicked out. FYI — Elliot Mintz, K-Fed’s attorney’s rep, got the boot too.

The Commish has taken a recess and Brit is out in the hall looking very upset. Our spy says that while Britney isn’t actually crying in the hallway — it looks like she might have been crying inside the closed courtroom.

Mom and Pop Spears are still in the courtroom with Brit’s attorney, as is K-Fed and all his people.

Stay tuned …

UPDATE 10:28 AM PT — Brit is back in the courtroom.

UPDATE 10:38 AM PT — Britney is back out of the courtroom, smiling and holding hands with Blair Berk.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (along with all their respective parties) are back in the courtroom after spending close to an hour in a private meeting room.

Brit walked into the courtroom hand-in-hand with her mom Lynne.

Could an amicable compromise be on the horizon?

[Compilated from multiple reports on TMZ]

Whatever happens today, Britney should feel good about the following: 1) She showed up at court, on time, appropriately dressed, and without holding a Fanta and a pack of cigarettes. 2) Thanks to her mom and lawyer, she was able to keep her composure on the stand- which may be a first. 3) The photos and court drawings actually make her look pretty good.

I find it more than a little interesting that this is the first post-Lutfi era court appearance, and Brit shows up with no problems. Jump to your own conclusion- I know I have.

Overnight visits for Britney and her sons still a long way off

britneyjayden.jpg
Britney and Jayden in September
Kevin Federline’s uber-attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan must think he’s a celebrity or something, because he sure likes to talk to the press about his famous client’s even more famous ex-wife, Britney Spears. Most recently, Kaplan did an interview with E! News to talk about the likelihood of Britney having overnight visits with her two boys.

While the time she’s spent with her two children over the past month has seemingly proved beneficial to all parties involved, overnight visits with Sean Preston and Jayden James are still a ways off, according to Kevin Federline’s resident legal eagle, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

The attorney told E! News Friday that the monitored visits between Spears and her sons “have been nothing out of the norm,” but that “there has to be consistency over time.

“I don’t think 30 or 40 days is the magic number,” Kaplan said.

[From E!Online]

Of course this guy doesn’t think 30 or 40 days is the magic number- he is going to milk this case for as long as he possibly can, especially now that Britney is footing the bill. If he has his way, this custody battle will go on until Jayden’s 18th birthday, and then Kaplan can buy an island or something. Kaplan was quick to give Jamie Spears kudos for his positive influence on Britney, and pointed out that K-Fed is still hoping to have Britney more involved in the boys upbringing.

Kaplan continues to credit Jamie Spears’ newfound presence in his daughter’s life for this noticeably more amiable state of affairs.

“All we know is that since Jamie Spears has been involved it has been a very stabilizing force,” he said.

The elder Spears has been serving as coconservator of the pop star’s estate since Feb. 1, when she was admitted to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. Jamie and a court-approved psychiatrist are required to be present when Spears spends time with her sons.

Kaplan said that the next custody-related hearing is expected to take place in May, and he’s still anticipating a trial, in preparation of which he has deposed a number of Spears’ friends and associates, including off-again, on-again manager Larry Rudolph.

Regardless of what anyone says about him, it’s still Federline’s intention to do the right thing for his children, the lawyer said.

“The goal is to have a stabilizing and consistent order for the kids,” Kaplan said. “His hope is that would involve the participation in a substantial way by their mother.”

[From E! Online]

I’m sure K-Fed, Jamie Spears and Britney’s doctors could work this out without Kaplan, but then we wouldn’t get these fascinating interviews anymore. Has anyone else noticed that Kaplan gives a press conference weekly, even when there’s no court hearing? I’m trying to remember the last time anyone from Britney’s legal team did a press conference or sat down with E! Hmmmm. Really makes you wonder, doesn’t it? I wonder if Kaplan will lose interest in this case now that he’s signed on to represent Robin Williams’ wife in their divorce. I bet there’s a lot of money tied up in that case.

K-Fed spent $50K in Vegas - whose money was it?

kfedbigspender.jpg
Devoted babydaddy or lazy gigolo- will the real Kevin Federline please stand up?

In the months following the Britney-K-Fed divorce, the ongoing custody battle, and the slow, steady Brit meltdown, Federline has kept a fairly low profile and done a good job of keeping their two children protected. But recent documents revealed that K-Fed many have been lying about his income in order to get his ex-wife to pay his legal bills- and that the single dad likes to blow money on strippers, nightclubs, booze and ridiculous tips.

K-Fed lied about his income and charged up ridiculous expenses, including insane tips, according to new court documents. Britney Spears’ newest lawyer, Stacy Phillips, filed documents challenging the legal fees that Brit was ordered to pay for Fed-ex. Phillips claims K-Daddy “understated his income by at least $200,000.” She also says Federline buried all sorts of personal expenses and pretended to have $800,000 worth of business expenses. PopoZão!

According to the legal papers, Federline grossed $544,074.73 from his production company, “Gooseneck Productions” in 2007, and his expenses totaled $841,128.67. Phillips says Federline’s so-called business expenses included “extraordinarily high tips for food and beverage services [e.g., $1,100.76 tip on $2,782 bill; $200 tip on $371.29 bill; and $2,000 tip on $365 bill].

K-Daddy got Britney to pay his legal bills, claiming relative poverty. But, as her lawyer calls it, “Bank of Britney” may have been taken for a ride — specifically, from L.A. to Vegas. According to legal docs, in a recent eight-month period, Federleezy blew $50,489.71 on hotel rooms and refreshments in Vegas.

In one day alone, K-Fed dropped $2,632.50 at TAO Beach (the pool club at The Venetian). And on one wild evening, he spent $2,862.60 at TAO nightclub. One day at the Hard Rock Beach Club — $3,008.33

Oh yeah, and there’s this…. at Scores strip club, he once spent $365, but left a $2,000 tip.

[Compiled from TMZ]

Juxtapose these legal findings with the public image of a caring dad trying to create a stable enivronment for his two young sons, and I don’t know what to think. I do remember K-Fed spending a lot of time at clubs while Britney was home with two small boys, which led up to their divorce. It seemed as though he’d given that up after becoming the sole custodial parent, but maybe not. Also, how did K-Fed earn anywhere near $500k though his “production company”? What exactly did he produce, besides Sean and Jayden? I’d be willing to bet that all that money he blew in Vegas was courtesy of his ex-wife. Last time I checked, having a two-minute cameo on “One Tree Hill” doesn’t pay well enough to justify that kind of spending.

Picture note by Celebitchy: K-Fed is shown at his 30th birthday party on March 21, for which he was said to have been paid $175,000. That might explain where he got the money. Thanks to WENN and PRPhotos.

Why Britney keeps getting so many second chances

britneysam2.jpg

Many people – us included – are wondering why Britney Spears keeps getting second chance after second chance with the court system in her custody case. Most legal experts say that Britney isn’t actually getting any special treatment, though I’m sure people with different experiences might disagree. But according to the American legal system, the presumption is generally that children belong with the mother, and that gives Britney a distinct advantage in court.

But legal experts say despite appearances that Spears, 26, is being given second and third chances, she’s not receiving any special treatment. They say the reason why the legal process is dragging out before the public’s eyes is because it is very difficult to prove that Britney’s relationship with her children is doing more damage than good.

“What you are seeing in California is, in part, the failure of a forensic expert — like a psychologist or psychiatrist — to come forward with substantial evidence that proves it’s best to disrupt the lives of these children,” said Mario Joseph, partner at Joseph and Smargiassi, a New York law firm specializing in matrimonial and family law.

[From Fox News]

I feel like we could probably find a good 30 dozen mental health professionals who would love to say Britney is eight kinds of crazy (yes I’m keeping count). I’m surprised there hasn’t been a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation. I understand that Britney is unlikely to see a professional of her own volition, but it really seems like she has the potential to harm her children. I think it’d be more inadvertent – like she’d be too distracted with doing fake accents and making manic, joker-ish smiles – and one of the kids would fall into the fireplace or something. I doubt she’d throw a kid into the fireplace. But she’s clearly not all there.

Joseph also told FOXNews.com that mothers — non-celebrities included — generally receive the benefit of the doubt. “The reality is that there’s a far higher standard for a father, because there is an age-old presumption that the mother is the more fit parent for an infant or toddler.”

“If it [Britney wants to get custody back] means spending more time with play dates and less time with the likes of Paris Hilton, that’s what she should be doing,” Joseph said. “She needs to appear as if she’s putting the interest of her children before her own.”

The problem is that it’s been difficult for the courts to establish a sense of immediate threat or danger. And that’s prevented any long-term measure, Joseph said. “Dangling a child off a balcony [like Michael Jackson did in November 2002] is clearly an emergent matter,” he explained. “And any reasonably competent parent would understand that driving with a child in the front seat [like Britney did] is not in the best interest of that child. But absent of additional evidence, courts don’t want to change the status quo.”

[From Fox News]

The essential point here is that Britney Spears would actually have to be much crazier than she is - or at least more often – to lose complete custody. She’s not physically endangering her sons. But one can’t help but wonder how she could NOT be endangering their mental health, especially as they get older and are more aware of the impropriety of her behavior. One of a parent’s many jobs is to embarrass the living daylights out of their kids. But there’s a difference between telling a stupid story and walking around without a shirt on.

In the UK, there’s a group called Fathers 4 Justice which maintains that fathers have an equal responsibility and right to parent their children, and as such they should be given equal favor in the custody process. I understand that mothers do of course have their own “special bond” with their kids, but diligent fathers can make the same claim, if to a different kind of “special bond.” It seems incredibly unfair that Britney’s kids should have to live with her lunacy because of a presumption that her role is more important that Kevin Federline’s. Clearly there’s a ton of issues working against what’s best for the kids. Britney is the biggest one.

K-Fed’s just trying to protect the kids; plans tell-all book

91817203.jpg

If society didn’t have Kevin Federline to teach us the difference between right and wrong, I’m not sure we’d make it. The man who for so long personified douchbaggery now seems like father of the year, at least when held up next to Britney Spears. But so does that ficus tree in the living room when held up next to Britney Spears. It’s hard to tell how much Kevin Federline has changed. Is he actually a good dad now, or is Britney just so crazy that he seems like a good dad? Are his motivations really his sons, or the money attached to them? If Britney went bankrupt, would K-Fed still be fighting for Sean Preston and Jayden James? It’s hard to say, and it’s not possible to get inside of his head. But for the most part, Federline certainly seems to be saying the right things at the right time. Or at least his hired hands are.

Kevin Federline’s lawyer says Monday’s court decision to keep Britney Spears from visiting her children is a difficult decision with a clear impact on all of the family members. Mark Vincent Kaplan called the court order barring Spears from visiting her children indefinitely “painful, but appropriate.” Especially affected will be the boys Jayden, 1, and Preston, 2.

“Kevin’s not indifferent to how difficult it has to be on their mother (Spears) and on the kids,” Kaplan told PEOPLE. “It’s a sad situation. There’s no victorious feeling. Kevin wants nothing more than to be able to parent his children with participation by their mother,” says Kaplan. “But the best interest of the children require that they be in the most sound, safe, nurturing and consistent environment. That is paramount.” He adds, “[Kevin] is committed to trying to fill any void by him being there at all times for them in any way. He can’t replace their mother in their life but he is going to try to minimize the hardship.”

[From People]

You could make a lot of arguments that it’s all due to Kevin’s great legal team. But Britney has good lawyers too, the difference is that Kevin will actually drag his butt out of bed and go to court, whereas Britney will lounge around, show up hours late, and then never actually enter the courtroom, choosing to go to the gas station and drink an orange soda instead. So you could pretty much make the argument that Federline’s a better parent based on that alone.

But it also seems K-Fed is shopping a tell-all book around. That makes one questions his motivations all over again, as dishing out a lot of dirty secrets about the mother of half his children doesn’t seem in their best interests.

Kevin Federline is penning a tell-all about his hellish marriage to Britney Spears. Kevin is in chats to sell his story for $10 million, spilling his ex-wife’s lesbian desires and suspected Multiple Personality Disorder in the process. “He’s been writing things down for a long time about his tempestuous time with Britney. He’ll earn a fortune with this.” Publishing experts believe Kev could pull more than the anticipated $10 million bonanza if he plays his cards right. “A book like that would be really hot. There would definitely be a bidding war,” publisher Ron Turner reveals to Star Magazine. “When all is said and done, with advance serialization and international rights and movie rights he could get $10m, if not more.”

[From Popcrunch]

Most of the dirty details are rumors we’ve already heard before; though one would assume he’d give specifics. Things like them having unprotected sex on their first date, Britney spending most of her time drunk and high, dressing up in dirty costumes (I think there was some gossip floating around for a long time that she had an entire locked room filled with sex costumes), and that she was always begging Federline for a threesome. And of course that K-Fed wasn’t into it, and was worried Brit was more into girls that guys. And then there’s the requisite sex tape rumors. Back when those first hit the internet, I didn’t think there was any truth to them. Someone famous like Britney Spears must be smart enough to know that somehow, they’d get out. That was before everyone knew Brit was batshit crazy. Now I’m sure that room filled with sex costumes is actually a room filled with Britney’s own sex tapes.

If K-Fed does actually write a tell-all, I admit I’d read it. I still questions the guy’s intentions, but the curiosity factor is just too high. With so many crazy rumors floating around about Britney – and so many turning out to be true – I’d find it interesting to hear about it from someone close to her – even if you have to take every word with a grain of salt.

Paul McCartney worried for his daughter’s safety

top-screen-capture-professional-13-105.jpg

Who would have thought that Heather Mills going batshit crazy and telling the press she was considering suicide if they weren’t nicer to her could possibly backfire on her? The self-righteous nutbag - who seems to feel she can say whatever she wants in order to get whatever she wants – has possibly put her foot in her own mouth for the last time. Sir Paul is said to be very concerned for the safety of Beatrice, their four-year-old daughter. Mills claims that there are people who want to kill her, and that Beatrice is in danger too. It seems most likely that Beatrice’s biggest threat is her manipulative, narcissistic mother, who seems just histrionic enough to put her own child’s life in danger.

Paul McCartney has revealed that he wants custody of his & Heather Mills’ four-year-old daughter Beatrice -following her recent outbursts on US & UK television. According to Britain’s News of The World newspaper, Paul, 65 has already consulted his legal team, a close friend of the star said: “Paul fears Heather’s lost the plot and needs help. He’s deeply worried. She claimed to the world that her life’s at risk. If that’s true, so is Bea’s and she must be with her dad.” In public Paul McCartney dismisses this week’s frenzy of abusive attacks by estranged wife Heather - but, behind closed doors, private he is distraught and fears she will hound him to his grave.

After an awkward face-to-face confrontation between the embattled couple on Friday, angry Paul McCartney allegedly asked an aide: “Is Heather trying to kill me?” A close friend of Paul’s said: “Paul’s main concern is Bea’s safety and well-being. Going for full custody is a last resort but he’s really scared for his child. He doesn’t feel he’s got a choice now. And if Heather’s life is at risk, then so is Bea’s. Paul feels he just can’t take the risk anymore and wants to know that his daughter is safe and well—and that means being with him. Paul did plead with Heather to consider Bea before she went on these TV shows, but she ignored him. Now he’s deeply concerned their daughter is growing more aware of the public war between them.”

The vengeful, mean-spirited part of me wants Heather Mills to lose custody of Beatrice just to teach her that you don’t go around on national television saying you’re going to kill yourself because the press isn’t nice to you. The more logical part of me wants Heather Mills to lose custody of Beatrice because any mother who would do that could very likely be a threat to her child’s safety. If those are the kinds of things she says on television, can you imagine what she probably says to her daughter at home? “You know why mummy has only one leg? Because daddy didn’t love her enough.” “You know why all those photographers are outside screaming at mummy? Because you didn’t eat your vegetables.” “You know why mummy cries herself to sleep every night? Because you love daddy more than her.” Yeah, I’m sure this kid will end up fine.

Here’s a clip from her interview - the actual discussion is over 15 minutes long.
