If you caught the VH1 reality show “Breaking Bonaduce,” then you know that former child star Danny Bonaduce is a steroid-fueled substance abuser and pathological liar who took great joy in bullying his doormat of a wife, Gretchen. As the series ended, Gretchen finally found her backbone and initiated divorce proceedings- after many, many sessions of counseling in which Danny behaved like a giant 4-year-old. With all that in mind, Gretchen still thought it was a good idea to go on Danny’s radio show, expecting him to act like a decent human being. The only person in the universe who was surprised when he behaved like a horse’s ass? You guessed it- Gretchen.

Sexy photos have caused a war between Danny Bonaduce and his ex-wife Gretchen.

Their turbulent marriage was featured on the reality show “Breaking Bonaduce” and now their relationship has exploded -six months after their divorce was finalized!

Gretchen, who filed for divorce in 2007, says their relationship had been amicable until last month when she appeared on his radio show, “The Danny Bonaduce Show” in Philadelphia – and he launched a verbal attack on her.

“I went on Danny’s radio show under the condition that he would be civil, but he ended up ambushing me with lies and insults,” Gretchen told The Enquirer in an exclusive interview.

Gretchen blames Danny’s shocking on-air outburst on his jealousy over her post-marriage career success and the scantily-clad photos of her that appeared in February’s “Steppin’ Out” magazine.

“HE degraded me for doing the risque photo shoot, saying I claim to be a good Baptist girl, which I am, ” she said. “I would never do a fully nude shoot, even though I’ve had plenty of big offers.

“He also falsely accused me of having sex with a man a week before we got married, which couldn’t be further from the truth.

“Danny lashed out at me for dating a married man, but the full story is, my boyfriend has been going through a complicated divorce since 2001.

“Besides, Danny has no room to talk, especially since he cheated on me many times throughout our marriage! He was extremely rude, and I am still traumatized that he sunk so low, but I shouldn’t be surprised.”

I saw the “Steppin’ Out” photos- they were far from risque; mostly bathing suit, pinup-style shots. Meanwhile, Danny, let’s not forget, has a habit of getting drunk and stripping down completely naked in public! But I suppose he thinks that’s okay. As for his accusation that Gretchen had sex with someone a week before they got married – well, they got married just hours after their first date! He truly is a moron. And what’s with Danny’s new fiancee- who is a dead ringer for Gretchen when she was younger? I wonder how long it will be before he starts terrorizing her, too. The bottom line is, Danny Bonaduce is a world-class creep. But nobody knows this better than his ex wife- she should have known better than to go anywhere near his show.

Danny Bonaduce recently admitted to the Enquirer that the ending of his 18 year marriage to ex-wife Gretchen was entirely his fault because he cheated on her. Danny’s paying a hefty $16,000 a month is spousal support to her, and while he seems a little bitter about it he acknowledges that he bares all the burden for it.

“I blew a perfectly good marriage to a perfectly good woman,” Danny, 49, told the Enquirer. “I would love to hate Gretchen for it, shortchange her somehow – but unfortunately, I wrecked this marriage. I didn’t play fair. I can’t hold her accountable at all.” In the wake of Danny’s marriage disaster, the couple will share custody of their two children. The sadder-but-wiser entertainer added: “Here’s my marriage advice – try to avoid other women in you want a successful marriage.”

Danny is also thinking about doing another reality show – supposedly to pay the bills. And while he’s obviously got some pretty big ones to pay, I think it’s probably more to support his ego and convince himself that hot young women would actually compete for the love of this crazy loon.

Danny is dating Amy Railsback, but is pondering doing another reality show, “The Next Mrs. Bonaduce” – in which a group of beautiful hopefuls would vie to be Danny’s next wife.

“If I agree to do the show, it will be only because Amy and I broke up,” Danny says. “I would never do it while having a girlfriend.”

I’m paying a ridiculous amount of alimony,” Danny says. “I have to work a lot!” Unless, of course, Danny can get his ex Gretchen married off. “As of today, there’s a $100,000 bounty on Gretchen,” Danny adds. “I’ve been divorced only days, but I will give a good man $100,000 cash to get Gretchen off my payroll.”

What a lovely thing to say about your current girlfriend. “I’d only think about doing this show if we broke up.” Sounds like he’s pretty serious about this relationship. Who wants to bet Danny conveniently ends the relationship the day before filming begins? I can’t even watch five seconds of this guy. He’s got so many mental health issues just bursting out of him that it’s exhausting and emotionally draining to hear him even speak for a few seconds. I think they should do a show about Danny Bonaduce going through extreme, intensive, 24/7 therapy for the next year. That would be a much better decision, and less likely to end in divorce.

Danny and Gretchen Bonaduce’s divorce was finalized on Wednesday. The 18-year marriage was the subject of the reality TV show “Breaking Bonaduce” and if you saw it, you know why this marriage couldn’t sustain. Danny Bonaduce is certifiable and an addict, and Gretchen was an enabler for most of their marriage. But she put up with a lot, and is getting paid a lot for it.

A Los Angeles judge has signed off on the amicable end to Danny Bonaduce’s nearly 18-year marriage.

Bonaduce will pay $16,000 a month to his ex-wife, Gretchen, for spousal and child support. The former couple will retain joint custody of their children, who are 14 and 7 years old.

Danny and Gretchen got married on the same day they met. By that marker, eighteen years is an incredible feat. On the show, of which Gretchen was an producer, Gretchen appeared to be pretty normal and trying to fight for her marriage, for the kids. Danny, on the other hand was a clearly narcissistic jerk with major substance abuse problems. I thought he was putting on an act for the cameras, but evidently the guy is really that messed up.

And some lucky woman may get to put up with all that on TV again. In the divorce, Danny Bonaduce secured the rights to his next reality show, The Next Mrs. Bonaduce. Seriously. The worst thing about this concept is that there will be a line a mile long of women signing up for this show. There will be a screening process to cull the list of women wanting to be Danny Bonaduce’s insta-wife. Definitely one of the saddest reflections of celebrity-obsessed society, right there.

Boy do I love me some Q-list celebrities. And who’s more Q-List than Danny Bonaduce? Maybe a random Playboy Playmate, but that’s it. Bonaduce, who was on “The Partridge Family” back in the day and “Breaking Bonaduce” more recently, lost his temper for the 283,485,382,384,381,593 time at the most prestigious of awards show, the Fox “Really Awards” and flipped out on ex-Survivor contestant Jonny Fairplay. Yeah, who? I don’t know. Some dude with curly hair. Fairplay jumped on Bonaduce, basically shoving his crotch in his face (quite acrobatic, if nothing else) which seemed to piss Bonaduce off. Welcome to every woman’s Saturday night, dude.

“Danny Bonaduce is being investigated for battery for tossing ex-Survivor contestant Jonny Fairplay over his shoulder during an award show Tuesday. Fairplay, 33, filed a police report Wednesday claiming that his teeth were knocked out during the incident at the FOX Reality Really Channel awards held at the Hollywood club Boulevard3, the Associated Press reports.”

“Police received the battery report around 2 a.m. at a Hollywood hospital where Fairplay was being treated, Officer April Harding told the AP. ‘He had one tooth broken, another tooth missing from his gum line and two other teeth that were loose,’ she said.

“During the awards show, Fairplay was being jeered onstage when Bonaduce, 48, came onto the stage and said into the microphone, ‘They’re booing because they hate you’” (Fairplay, a wrestler who came in third on the 2003′s Survivor: Pearl Islands, was criticized by many viewers for having lied about the death of lie his grandmother in order to win sympathy from other competitors.)”

“According to police, Fairplay said he then tried to hug Bonaduce. In a video clip of the incident, Fairplay is seen jumping into Bonaduce’s arms. In reaction, Bonaduce tossed Fairplay up and over his head and onto the floor. Fairplay then got up and ran offstage while holding his hand over his mouth.”

Bonaduce’s defense? Fairplay was throttling him, and he had to throw him off to stop him. It’s hard to see from the video, there’s a lot of touching of parts that usually don’t touch, and it seems to happen pretty quickly. Bonaduce did mention, “I’m sorry he got hurt.” Alright, and I’m sure you mean it. Supposedly Fairplay had to go through 2 ½ hours of dental surgery after the attack. I don’t think that’s anything shocking in and of itself, that’s what it takes for a root canal. But I’m sure he had some significant mouth injuries, and no matter what he’s probably in a lot of pain. “It knocked one tooth out and then it moved three others. One tooth is, like, shattered eight times.” Well I’d say if nothing else, it’s a good moral lesson for the rest of us: no matter what he does, don’t jump on Danny Bonaduce. Good to know.

Update by Jaybird: The District Attorney has decided not to charge Bonaduce with any crime, noting “It did not appear that the suspect intentionally tried to cause injuries, but simply reacted to the victim’s actions.”
