Full disclosure: I think LeAnn Rimes ate solids when she was married to Dean Sheremet too. I imagine their marriage was full of nights where LeAnn asked, “Dean, do you feel like having sex? No? Okay, let’s pop some popcorn and watch Dirty Dancing! I’ll let you braid my hair!” Anyhoodle, LeAnn’s first husband, Dean Sheremet, got married again! He married Sarah Silver, the chick he began dating shortly after his split from LeAnn. He and Sarah got engaged last November, and they just got hitched. He announced it on his Twitter and his Tumblr, which… I have just spent too much time looking at. It’s debatable whether or not Dean gets hard for ladies or gentlemen. What it unquestionable is that Dean gets hard for food porn. Photo after photo of food, photographed beautifully, some of it is stuff Dean makes, some of it is just food that he’s ordered and he takes photos of. It’s kind of awesome. Anyway, the bride wore red. Seriously! She wore a little red cocktail dress.

Dean Sheremet is once again a married man. The dancer-turned chef and food blogger, who was married to singer LeAnn Rimes for seven years, tied the knot with his fiancée, photographer Sarah Silver.

On Sheremet’s blog, he posted a video of the newlyweds stepping out of a City Clerk’s office. Sheremet, 30, is wearing a gray suit with no tie and his bride, 35, is in a short, one-shoulder red dress, holding a bouquet of flowers. The couple share a passionate kiss before stepping down the stairs and approaching the camera.

“Happy happy day,” the blog post reads.

In another post, Silver is seen holding a camera. “Taking photos at her own wedding! She can’t help herself,” the post reads.

Sheremet, who is a chef at Nougatine at Jean-Georges in New York City, and Silver became engaged in November of last year.

I kind of love Dean’s “Second Act”. His first act was… what? Dancer and husband to a country music star, all-around nice guy, kind of femme. His second act involves a cute little wife, a solid career as a chef and this full, rich life in New York City. I like his bravery in moving to NYC and going to culinary school after his divorce – I like that he moved on with such grace. He’s very classy, and I wish him well.

In our thread yesterday on the story about LeAnn Rimes talking about her emaciated “I’m so healthy, lol” bikini body yet again, a lot of you mentioned that there’s a new sex tape story about LeAnn. Of course this is coming out now, post-wedding to Eddie, when LeAnn isn’t getting enough attention for her antics and her husband’s ex Brandi Glanville is about to star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Do you remember how much publicity those RHOBH bitches got last season? Brandi is about to blow up in the press and LeAnn knows it. This has got to burn LeAnn up. She’s already copying Brandi’s outfits down to the shoes and accessories, she got the same boob job from the same surgeon, and she copied Brandi’s wedding to Eddie using the dress designer and ceremony details. So Brandi’s pending fame has got to be getting to LeAnn and coincidentally there’s a new “nude tape” story that someone first posted online on some forum. Uh-huh.

The thing that gives this story some merit is the fact that Star spoke to LeAnn’s ex husband, Dean Sheremet, and his vague answer as to whether there is are any sexy J-Lo style recordings kind of lends credence to this story. They make it sound like Dean leaked the story and LeAnn is the victim. You never know with her though, and I have a tendency to distrust any story that gives her publicity. Plus her people were all over that right away.

“I found a memory stick to a digital camera,” an Internet forum poster who goes by the screen name OneMoreVol wrote. “It had about ten 15-20 sec videos of [LeAnn] shot by her then husband. She’s in her bedroom…” The home video captured her “[bending] over in front of the mirror” in her thong, and other private poses.

LeAnn’s ex, Dean, spoke exclusively to Star about the video that he filmed. “We were married for eight years, we did a lot of sh*t,” he hinted. “I honestly don’t even remember. I’m sure it was fun and innocent.”

Even so, after the Web user posted a teaser of the video, which was found in a moving truck in 2008, LeAnn’s legal team was ready to strike back before the full tape goes public and everyone sees her – in the poster’s words – when she had “some meat on her hips, and it looked more like cottage cheese than meat!”

In a May 26 cease-and-desist notice obtained exclusively by Star, the Web user was told: “Your posting establish that you came into possession of these materials by virtue of finding lost property which should have rightfully been returned to Ms. Rimes.”

Dean, however, doesn’t share LeAnn’s concerns about the steamy video leaking. He explained coolly, “Things like this happen.”

Given the context, given the crazy, I don’t believe this. Star is painting Dean as the guy leaking the tape but maybe he’s just like “whatever, she bugs me.” Kaiser feels sorry for LeAnn and thinks that if this is really happening as it’s claimed that it’s not LeAnn’s fault for recording some sexy videos with an ex husband. The scenario with Dean leaking the videos just doesn’t seem as likely as LeAnn clamoring for publicity and attention as always. Like she would love to have some sexy videos out there, wouldn’t she? This isn’t even a sex tape.

In an inset to this article, Dean kind of goes off on Eddie and how he was cheating on his wife to be with Dean’s then-wife LeAnn. He said “That’s not how a man acts. A real man would have waited to pursue a relationship… I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him.” As for the end of his marriage, he says “It wasn’t how I thought it was going to go down after eight years.” Isn’t that how it usually goes down with a divorce though? Like the person seems to change overnight as far as your perspective on who they are.

Yesterday, Dean Sheremet confirmed his happy news to Us Weekly – he’s engaged! To a woman! Yes, the man once married to and tossed aside by LeAnn Rimes has found love again. With a woman. It really is shocking to me, but I’ll be the first to admit that sometimes the global gaydar is totally off. It really is possible for a former backup dancer once married to a country child star can somehow pick up the pieces and become a chef and a loving husband to another woman. His fiancée is a girl named Sarah Silver, and she’s a cute little blonde – I actually think she looks like a (prettier) version of LeAnn (see a red carpet photo of Dean and Sarah here).

Dean Sheremet is ready to make an honest woman out of Sarah Silver! A source tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Sheremet, 29, proposed to his live-in love Friday morning in their NYC apartment.

“They were having a nice morning together and the moment felt right, so he proposed,” a source tells Us.

The Nobu 57 chef, who graduated first in his class from Manhattan’s French Culinary Institute in March, “gave her a beautiful antique ring” from the 1950s, set in white gold and weighing in at 3 carats.

“She is an amazing, talented woman,” Sheremet gushed to Us in July of his photographer girlfriend. “We have a lot in common and we are both very happy.”

Since accepting his proposal, Silver “is elated,” says a source. “They’re planning on a summer wedding in NYC.”

This won’t be the first marriage for Sheremet; the former backup dancer divorced country singer LeAnn Rimes in June, more than a year after Us Weekly broke the news of her affair with actor Eddie Cibrian (who was married to model Brandi Glanville at the time).

Congratulations to Dean and Sarah. I went on his Twitter and I was reminded of how he always seemed like such a nice guy. Okay, I’ll stop judging a book by its cover.

Of course, LeAnn Rimes had to chime in about her ex-husband’s engagement. At first, she just kept it simple, tweeting: “Congrats to @deansheremet and @sarah_silver on your engagement! A little birdie told me the happy news last night. Wishes for a life full of happiness.” And then she spent the next 24 hours tweeting responses to people questioning that tweet, effectively making Dean’s engagement all about LEANN. LeAnn tweeted stuff like “why wouldn’t it be. I would never say it if I didn’t mean it” and “my congrats is from my heart. Sorry if you don’t understand it. I do not need the publicity, I get plenty. please stop passing judgement” and “why would anyone be unhappy that someone they’ve loved in their life has found love again?? People just want to be negative!” and “i know for a fact he’s engaged or I wouldn’t congratulate him.” Sigh… LeAnn just doesn’t know how to just let it go, right? I suspect that she’ll “pull a Jessica Simpson” and she and Eddie will end up engaged by Christmas, just so that her ex won’t get all the attention.

The past few months, the tabloids have been full of stories about how LeAnn Rimes is “desperate” to marry Eddie Cibrian once both of their divorces come through. LeAnn’s is pretty much set, and the whole divorce deal with Dean Sheremet should go off without a hitch. Eddie’s divorce to Brandi Glanville should take longer, however, because they’re still working on custody and financial agreements. Plus – Eddie separated and started the divorce paperwork later than LeAnn did, only starting the divorce process back in August of last year. Reports even indicate that LeAnn is trying to “pay off” Brandi to help the divorce proceedings along.

I bring up the whole timeline of who filed for what and when because of this new, interesting little report from Us Weekly. They claim that LeAnn opened an “unofficial” Twitter account called WewenLove, and was gushing about her “one year anniversary” with Eddie. One year from the time their affair became public! And apparently, Dean Sheremet got on Twitter and called her out on her bullsh-t.

A source tells Hot Stuff [US Weekly] that singer LeAnn Rimes, 27, had opened an unofficial Twitter account under the name Wewenlove and tweeted February 2 that it was her one year anniversary with Eddie Cibrian, 36, adding “Love him!”

Not feeling the love: Her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet, who tweeted back, “You should feel proud of that… considering you were still married [to me] this time last year.”

(Cibrian was also married to model Brandi Glanville. Us broke the news of their affair in March 2009.)

Once Sheremet called her out, “other people on Twitter ripped into her,” says the source. “She removed the account immediately!”

A Rimes rep didn’t confirm the account, but said: “if you want to follow her officially, you can at Twitter.com/LeAnnRimes.”

I’ll buy that LeAnn started a Twitter account just to gush about how she’s in love with Eddie and all of that. What I’m not sure that I buy is the Dean stuff. I’m sure he is hurt by the divorce and LeAnn’s parading around with Eddie, but Dean has played all of that close to the vest. I believe he’s gotten paid off, and it’s probably a really nice settlement too. Do you think he would have the balls to call LeAnn on her bullsh-t after taking her money? Perhaps…

At the very least, Dean should be a good (ALLEGED) gay best friend and tell LeAnn not to do bangs. I suspect he cares a lot more about how his ex is styled than who she’s boning.

This is kind of amazing. Dean Sheremet filed for divorce from LeAnn Rimes on Friday, and by the following Monday night, they had figured out their divorce settlement in total, had a date for the finalization of their divorce, and had made a “confidential” filing of all of the paperwork. This might go down in history as one of the fastest divorce processes ever. It makes me wonder if Dean and LeAnn had already figured out what Dean was getting way before he ever filed the paperwork. It would make sense – they likely had a prenup, and I bet LeAnn threw in some generous “starting over” money for Dean’s new life in New York. But we’ll never know, because neither is telling.

The same day Deane Sheremet filed for divorce from LeAnn Rimes Dec. 17, the two reached a confidential divorce settlement, according to Los Angeles court records.

“The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy,” the document states.

The two are likely dividing their cash, property and other valuables.

Their divorce is expected to be finalized June 19, 2010.

Their nearly eight-year marriage ended after Rimes had a relationship with her Lifetime movie costar Eddie Cibrian, who was wed to Brandi Glanville at the time.

Cibrian and Glanville are also divorcing.

What do you think Dean got? My guess is something in the neighborhood of a cool $5 million settlement, or something spread out over several years. I doubt Dean gets much more than that, even though he’s stayed so quiet after being publicly cuckolded. Sidenote: Do people still say things like “cuckolded”? I think I read that in a romance novel. Surprising no one, Dean Sheremet has filed for divorce from his estranged wife LeAnn Rimes. When asked for a comment, LeAnn stopped grinding on Eddie Cibrian for ten full seconds to say “meh.” Not really. LeAnn and Dean separated back in July, just three days after Eddie and his wife Brandi Glanville formally filed separation papers. While Brandi has been speaking about Eddie and LeAnn to anyone who will listen, Dean has been keeping a very low profile, only appearing a few times in the past few months, after he moved out of the home he shared with LeAnn and moving to New York. Oh, and Dean mentions in the divorce papers that he wants LeAnn to pay spousal support and all of his lawyer’s fees. Which I kind of think is fair.

Dean Sheremet filed papers on Thursday to divorce LeAnn Rimes, UsMagazine.com has learned. In the petition for divorce, Sheremet asks for Rimes to pay spousal support plus all attorney fees and costs. His lawyer Stacy D. Phillips also requests the court not to grant spousal support to Rimes. The papers were made public on Friday.

Sheremet, now 29, married singer Rimes, now 27, in 2002. They separated in July 2009. Reports circulated that Rimes had filed in September to end her marriage, but no court records exist to support the rumor.

The singer did release a statement announcing their split. She said, “This decision was amicable and we remain committed and caring friends with great admiration for one another.”

Us Weekly first broke the story in March that Rimes was carrying on an affair with her former Lifetime movie costar, Eddie Cibrian. Cibrian, 36, was also married, with two children, to Brandi Glanville. His divorce from Glanville is ongoing. Cibrian and Rimes have stepped out together recently, attending events in Hollywood as a couple.

Sheremet is currently taking classes in Manhattan at the French Culinary Institute. In August, when asked about the extended Rimes-Cibrian affair that ended his marriage, he fought back tears and told Usmagazine.com, “It’s bizarre. It’s surreal. But I’m doing OK.”

I give Dean a lot of credit for the way he’s handled the LeAnn situation. Perhaps it was just about the money for him, or maybe he and LeAnn just handled their split with more maturity than most because they really do care about each other, and just didn’t want to be married anymore.

Oh, and now that I’m looking at these older photos of LeAnn Rimes, I’m getting more convinced that she’s had something done to her nose. It used to be bigger – I don’t think it’s just a shadow.

I couldn’t resist. Page Six had this funny little piece about LeAnn Rimes – apparently, in her official announcement that she has filed for divorce from Dean Sheremet, she misspelled Dean’s name. LeAnn made the announcement on her website, and although I noticed that his name was spelled “Deane” in the coverage, I thought it was just People Magazine’s mistake. I didn’t realize LeAnn was actually married to a man for seven years and she never realized he spelled his name with only one “e”. Out of sight, out of mind, I suppose.

In other LeAnn Rimes news, she went house hunting this weekend in Los Angeles. She already has a home there, but I guess she’s not happy with Eddie Cibrian moving into the home she shared with Dean(e). So onto a new love nest!

LeAnn Rimes is literally moving on. Now that she’s officially split from husband Dean Sheremet and openly dating boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, the singer/actress needs a new place to call home in Los Angeles. For months they insisted they were “just friends” but finally went public as a couple this summer when they were spotted golfing and attending a concert. They’ve just returned from a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico where they opened cuddled on the beach.

Eddie filed for divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville on August 24. A week later, LeAnn wrote on her official website that the decision to split from her husband of seven years was “amicable.”

Now comes the dirty work of dividing up their respective assets but at least LeAnn and Eddie can do it from the comfort of their new love nest.

Yesterday, we had some early coverage on Us Weekly’s cover story this week, which is about LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, and how their exes are “speaking out”. Unfortunately, the online version of the story does not have some of Brandi Glanville’s patented hilarious, bitchy comments. It’s just a story about how Brandi and Dean Sheremt are becoming friends, “supporting each other” and how they’ve slowly been putting the pieces together of their spouses’ infidelities. Dean is quoted as saying the situation he’s in is “bizarre” and “surreal” – but I think that interview was done before LeAnn filed for divorce yesterday.

As LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian began going public with their relationship in August, her ex Dean Sheremet quietly reached out to Cibrian’s ex Brandi Glanville, Us Weekly reports in its latest issue (on newsstands now).

“They have been supporting each other,” an insider says of the pair, who first met last fall while visiting their spouses on the Calgary, Alberta, set of the Lifetime romance Northern Light.

At the time, they didn’t know an affair had begun. Now, the source tells Us Weekly, “They’ve put the pieces together about the last few months, and they’re developing a good friendship through this.”

It will be interesting to read the full text of this story, because I’m really curious to see if Dean has more to say. My thoughts were always that Dean was going to keep his mouth shut and hope for a generous settlement from LeAnn – she’s already buying him off with a new apartment and life in New York, and I’m sure she’s not so big of a bitch as to try to cut him off in the divorce proceedings. Sources claim that LeAnn is completely paying Dean off with a nice apartment in New York, and most likely a sweet divorce settlement. Dean hasn’t said much for or against LeAnn so far, and I suspect he’ll continue to keep his mouth shut and wait for the payday. As for LeAnn’s future plans, there were some reports last week that she’s already planning on marrying Eddie. Even though those reports came from Star Magazine and In Touch, I tend to believe them. I think LeAnn has fallen for Eddie, and she thinks he’s some kind of “catch”. When you look at it that way, it’s kind of sad.

Oh, snap! Sorry for the outdated excited utterance, but it seems apropos for this utterly B-List scandal. Eddie Cibrian has released his first statement since officially filing for divorce from his estranged wife Brandi Glanville. He had previously released a couple of statements and one now-classic interview (referencing the infamous “unfair fishbowl”) before he filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Brandi has People and Us Weekly on speed dial, basically issuing one bitchy interview a day for the past week.

Previously, Brandi had said “Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.” Then she told Us Weekly, “Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker, and he has been an absentee father. Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl’.” After that, Eddie and LeAnn made several public outings, then Eddie officially filed for divorce. Brandi did another round of interviews (‘atta girl), but Eddie has been silent. Until now! Let me tell you… Eddie brings his inner bitch out:

Actor Eddie Cibrian is breaking his silence in wake of his bitter divorce from his estranged wife Brandi Glanville and scandalous affair with country pop star LeAnn Rimes. This past Monday, the CSI: Miami star filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to end his seven year marriage to the former model.

Now, in a statement released by Cibrian Thursday, the actor says: “From the outset I have made a conscious decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the press. While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children,” Cibrian continued. “I love my boys very much. So he’s basically telling his ex-wife to shut the hell up already. I’m sure Brandi will take that under advisement. Here’s the thing – I know that Eddie is a womanizing douche, a liar, and a pretty disgusting man. But I’m not so sure he’s a bad father. The tabloids are all over this story this week. Most of them are highlighting a very LeAnn Rimes-friendly version for some reason. Every source points out that Eddie has been spending most of his nights at LeAnn’s house in Brentwood. In Touch Weekly takes a more judicious point of view, calling in an “expert” to tut-tut that Eddie and LeAnn are “acting like teenagers instead of adults.” In Touch also points out that Dean Sheremet is moving into a New York apartment that LeAnn is paying for, but Dean still tweeted “Dishonesty is the most deplorable quality” the day after LeAnn and Eddie’s outing to a Kings of Leon concert.

Star Magazine has a source who claims “LeAnn knows she found true love with Eddie… Now she wants the rest of the world to know it too! She wants to be able to go everywhere with him… She feels like the worst is behind them and now they can be happy together.” Star points out that LeAnn is – wait for it – already making wedding plans. LeAnn has “already subscribed to Brides Magazine and talks about getting married in Las Vegas… as soon as both their divorces are done, they’re heading to Sin City! She’s dying to be his wife and call herself Mrs. Cibrian. She even wants to give him more kids!” Oh, barf. She and Eddie really do deserve each other… just wait until he gets another Lifetime movie, honey.
