Avril Lavigne is one singer who has not learned to change with the times. The 24-year-old is still hawking the same stale style of clothing she was when her line Abbey Dawn first came out, and she’s still doing the whole punk-rock-ballerina look with the heavy mascara and studded hoodies. And her marriage is still on the rocks.

According to the NY Daily News, Avril was treating her husband, Deryck Whibley from Sum 41, with little more than indifference while she got trashed at a nightclub in LA.

The Canadian singer was “getting bombed” at MyHouse in L.A. last weekend, says a spy. “She kept downing vodka drinks, to the point where she was obliterated. She ended up fighting with her husband (Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 fame) before ignoring him completely.”

While Whibley sat alone on the couch glumly, “­Avril talked to everyone else. When he was ready to leave, she downed two more shots of vodka before walking out the door. What a child!”

Avril’s fifteen minutes of fame have been over for quite some time, but she’s still hanging on for dear life. Although her catchy song “Girlfriend” was a hit, she was criticized when her fans tried to make it the YouTube top hit through devious means. Her 2008 The Best Damn Tour was decidedly not a hit, and she’s getting more press for her failing relationship than for her music. In an interview a few years back, Avril commented on what a homebody she is - but for someone who prides herself on being a homebody, she sure goes out a lot. Her partying has led to rumors that she’s been cheating on Deryck for a while now, and Brandon Davis’ name has come up more than a few times. Deryck has also been rumored to be getting some on the side. Either Avril and Deryck have a very open relationship, or we’re going to get another Avril album full of breakup songs.

Avril Lavigne is looking sort of pregnant. Viewing these pictures, she could be expecting, or she’s shoplifting, there’s definitely something stuffed up that shirt. Her arms and face look thin but her stomach and bust look significantly inflated.

This isn’t the first time that pregnancy rumors have followed Avril, who is the past has claimed that she doesn’t plan to have children until she’s in her 30s.

“Oh God! I don’t want to have kids for like 10 years. I still have a lot to do. I don’t even know if I could handle a dog right now. I’m so not ready. Someday I’ll be a mom but not until I’m in my 30s.”

Actually, I think that my kids are easier than my dog. While it took two years, my children eventually were toilet trained. The dog never has been. Although, I can shove the dog out in the yard when he cries at night, if I did that to the kids it would be less acceptable.

Avril and her husband of 2 years, Sum41 singer Deryck Whibley, were recently the subject of divorce rumors. While she was touring he was seen out with a tall brunette, and they ‘couldn’t keep their hands off each other’. Perhaps the baby is a patch for their marital issues?

Avril Lavigne’s two year marriage to fellow Canadian musician Deryck Whibley, 28, might be in trouble. While his 24 year-old wife is on tour Deryck is said to be partying up a storm and was even seen looking way too familiar with another woman. Deryck was even seen holding another woman’s hand at the popular celebrity hotspot Villa, where he’s often gone with Avril.

On Oct. 2 - the same night Avril was performing in Lijang, China - Deryck was spotted out with a statuesque brunette beauty.

“It seemed as if Deryck and his woman couldn’t keep their hands off of each other,” an insider at Villa nightclub told The Enquirer.

“They huddled at a private table, and Deryck had his arm around her and was holding her hand.”

The Ontario natives - who wed in July 2006 - have been virtually leading separate lives, according to the insider.

The two have tried relying on long distance phone calls and e-mailing to hold their troubled relationship together. But while 24-year-old Avril has been touring the world, Deryck has back-burned his career in favor of partying, say sources.

The Enquirer goes on to detail an incident in late August which Deryck and his friends nearly got in a fight at a club. Avril was said to be upset about it, and Deryck went off to Japan to join her on tour. He ended up going out to the clubs in Tokyo while she had to work.

This incident with the other woman happened after that, so it’s possible they had a blowout at that time. Unless that woman was his sister he has no excuse for holding her hand and putting his arm around her. He’s got to know he’s going to get caught at a popular club where he can be seen like that and you wonder if he wants to get found out or if they’ve already broken up. Avril really gets on my nerves with her attitude, but she’s softened up a bit lately - or at least she’s shut up a little - and she doesn’t deserve that kind of public humiliation.

Avril Lavigne must truly be one of the most disliked celebrities on the internet. She has famously gone to war against several bloggers and spit on members of the paparazzi. Not the best way to make friends in the media. As a result, Avril has received a lot of bad press and is generally known more for her surly attitude than her singing. Though she has toned it down a bit since she got married to Deryck Whibley a few years ago, she still seems to be pretty widely disliked. News of a possible Lavigne/Whibley child hasn’t brought the singer any kinder handling in the press. Though she and her publicist have denied a pregnancy, there’s plenty of evidence that Avril is in fact toasting a bun in the oven.

A Petunia Pickle Bottom men’s diaper bag? Men need their own diaper bags? I know baby stuff can look kind of effeminate, but isn’t that just part of the package? I would really love to see what a “manly” diaper bag would look like. I’m guessing it has lumberjacks and big chunks of meat on it or something. But I digress. That seems like a bit more stuff than you’d normally buy for a pregnant friend. And nothing says “Avril Lavigne’s Baby” like an AC/DC baby tee. Always classy. Actually I think the whole rocker/rebel baby thing is kind of cute, when done in small amounts. Now Online also reports that Avril was spotted shopping at Kitson For Kids too. That’s a whole lot of small clothing. Avril is pretty tiny, but I doubt she’s fitting into a Splendid romper anytime soon. I would say the traditional “Congrats to the happy couple,” but with someone like Avril Lavigne, she’s probably apt to punch me in the eye for it.

Avril Lavigne’s rep denies that the pint-sized pop singer is pregnant. A Canadian entertainment blog reported an “exclusive” today that Lavigne’s husband, Deryck Whibley, was telling friends that his sneering bride was in the family way. Avril’s rep says it’s just not true. There’s another rumor that Avril could be having trouble in her marriage. Last week’s National Enquirer reported that Deryck was “acting like a single man” and was seen looking flirty with everyone’s favorite homewrecker Paris Hilton as well as collecting a phone number from another woman at a club on December 17th. It could have all been innocent fun.

Meanwhile Avril has given an undisclosed settlement to the band The Roobinos for their claimed copyright infringement of their 1979 single “Boyfriend.” A settlement doesn’t mean that she’s admitting to infringing the band’s copyright. Her manager says he merely wanted to avoid a costly court battle, and Avril denies ever hearing the song. This is not the first time that Lavigne has been accused of plagiarism.

We got a lot of well-deserved flack for repeating Star Magazine’s incorrect story that Avril only played a couple of songs at a free concert in Burnaby, British Columbia before ditching to go see the Spice Girls. She did play a full set at that show and it’s well documented.

As to why we report with a negative slant on Avril, after reading several self-important interviews with her and seeing how she repeatedly flips off the camera as well as spits on paparazzi, we decided that we don’t like her. She doesn’t seem to like or appreciate her job, and is known for giving listless performances.

Avril Lavigne was videotaped and photographed spitting at paparrazi while leaving club Hyde last Wednesday after celebrating her birthday with her husband and some friends. That was the second night in a row she spit on photographers outside of Hyde. On Thursday the Lavigne-Whibley family celebrated their third night of paparrazi spitting with Deryck contributing some saliva of his own.

TMZ has the shaky videos. On Avril birthday she’s seen leaving the club, signing autographs and saying “fuck you” several times to the photographers wishing her happy birthday. She spits when her car is about to pull away, and sticks her foot out of the window. It’s hard to tell what’s going on, and the pictures tell a better story.

The previous night, TMZ reports that Avril called the photographer over by saying “hey fuckhead,” before she spit right in his lens.

Maybe Avril’s apology would seem sincere if it happened once, but two nights in a row followed by her husband spitting too? As she mentions, she’s apologizing for the fans:

She’s outside a nightclub that stars frequent, what does she expect? I used to have a better opinion of Avril, and if she had only done it once on her birthday I might not have cared, but three spits and you’re trash.

I put Avril Lavigne on bump watch a few months ago when she looked a little fuller in the midsection and friends blabbed that she wanted to start a family right away. Her baby bump never grew, making it unlikely that she was pregnant. When I saw these pictures of Avril kissing her new husband, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, I thought her top looked a little suspicious.

Star Magazine said she might be pregnant, and recent candids show some kind of bulge, but she was seen out at fashion week sipping champagne and wearing a form-fitting tank top. If she’s pregnant she’s hiding it very well. She might be trying, but I don’t think she’s pregnant at this point.

It’s all speculation, and Avril looks quit fit in these pictures from Fashion Week. Let’s hope she gets pregnant soon if she’s trying, though.

They’re low quality, but clear and lovely, and show the happy couple exchanging rings, kissing, eating the cake, and taking off Avril’s garter during the reception. Picture captions include details such as the chandelier that hung from the flower-draped awning under which they were married, and their four-tiered half-chocolate half-vanilla wedding cake.

Avril says that the ceremony was an emotional moment for her, and that she did her best to keep poised:
