Luke Wilson was an unprofessional diva on set of AT&T commercials

25th Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival - Day 11
Whenever my daughter sees those AT&T spots starring Luke Wilson, she remarks, “That man has an abnormally large head.” If the new reports are to be believed, she just might be right about that. Wilson doesn’t like being the spokesperson for AT&T wireless anymore, and he doesn’t care who knows it. What started out as a low-key gig that made the “Royal Tenenbaums” actor some extra money between projects is now a full time job that makes Wilson so cranky, he recently copped a major attitude while taping a new commercial.

Luke Wilson just wants to do movies, especially independent films, but he recently signed a deal with AT&T to make the funny commercials about the cell phone network’s reach that you have probably seen by this point.

But Fox411 has learned that the “Old School” star is miserable doing the project and has earned a reputation for being a diva on set.

“Luke was awful during the filmings – he would even talk back to the director,” said our source close to the TV spot. “He refused to say lines and wanted them re-written. There were some lines meant to direct the commercial in a certain way, but Luke downright refused to say the lines at all. Luke kept saying, ‘I would never say that and I will not say that!’ The staff and production teams were shocked.”

F0x411 has learned that Wilson is so picky he won’t share the camera with anyone, either.

“Luke will not shoot scenes with other actors,” said our snitch. “Any scenes that include Luke and someone else were shot with the actors separately. He would not do scenes with anyone, so doubles are used and the scenes are edited together to make the commercials work.”

“Everyone misses the old days when they didn’t have a ‘name’ doing the commercials,” our source said. “Luke has made the filming process so unpleasant that people dread working with him. Luke is annoyed that he has to do commercials to make money as an actor and he makes the experience miserable, because he’s miserable. It’s unprofessional and unpleasant.”

Wilson’s reps did not return emails requesting comment.

Wilson can be seen happily (we hope) working in his new film, “Death at a Funeral,” in theaters April 16th.

[From Fox News]

This reminds me of similar stories about actress Catherine Zeta Jones when she was the T-Mobile spokesperson. Rumors about Catherine’s on-set demands fueled speculation for why they dropped her from ads, but recently, she’s been featured in a new set of ads, so maybe they were willing to put up with her. The Luke Wilson ads seem pretty popular as well, so I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Cheer up, Luke! At least starring in these commercials will keep you from doing another crappy movie with Jessica Simpson- we hope.

Ed Westwick is a bitchy diva to everyone
Cosmopolitan Magazines Fun Fearless Males Of 2010.Dinner New York City

I’m one of those few people that kind of adores Ed Westwick. Granted, I don’t watch Gossip Girl, but I like Westwick as a celebrity. I think it’s because he just seems so fey, so bitchy, so fabulous, and like he doesn’t even care what people think of him and his ways. I think his “I like whatever is happening to my ass” pose on the cover of Arena Homme might have been the point where I was like, “This bitch is amazing!” Oh, and I buy that he’s straight too. I actually think he might be a womanizer.

Anyway, Westwick has become the victim of a Gatecrasher piece that paints him in a horrible light. Gatecrasher basically claims that Westwick is so arrogant, he had a hissy fit at a restaurant when another patron was taking photos… of someone other than Westwick. According to the patron, Westwick “came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’ He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and sh-t.” My Westwick? Oh noes!

Hey there, upper East Siders: We hear that “Gossip Girl” guy Ed Westwick can’t quite keep his cool. A patron at LES hot spot Los Feliz is claiming that the Brit became extremely heated during a recent night out after deciding that his dinner was being disturbed. And what was the cause of the distraction? The fellow diner says he was merely taking photos — at his own table.

“Ed came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’” says the snapper, who insists he initially didn’t even know who “Chuck Bass” was and was simply trying to capture memories of his own evening.

“He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and s—. I thought it was a joke.”

But it most certainly wasn’t: The amateur cameraman soon realized just how angry Westwick was (“He walked off in a cloud of disgust,” he says), but decided he wasn’t going to take the insult sitting down.

“I went over to him and asked him who he thought he was, and he dissolved into a fit of rage,” says the man, who continued taking pictures of his party.

Soon after, he says he was approached by the manager of the restaurant, who told him he had to leave at Ed’s request.

“Ed was snickering in the corner, because the people he was with had told the staff that I was paparazzi,” says the man. “So I paid my bill, and I left.”

A rep for Westwick admits that Ed has dined at the eatery, but insists that “there was no altercation.”

Still, this isn’t the first time the CW heartthrob has been labeled a hothead — he was reportedly involved in a bar fight with fellow British actor Toby Hemingway at L.A. cantina El Guapo last summer.

Ed’s co-star Chace Crawford supposedly broke up the brawl.

Later, Westwick’s rep denied that altercation, too, adding that Ed and Toby had been friendly since the party.

But those who have worked with the Brit say he has been known to lose his temper.
“He’s been perceived to be like his on-screen Chuck Bass character in real life,” says a snitch who has worked with him. “He does what he wants.”

[From Gatecrasher]

Yeah, I totally believe this happened. And I totally believe Westwick is a big bitch, bless his heart. I mean, it totally sucks for the dude who got kicked out, and it totally sucks that Westwick is so arrogant and moody and intemperate, but what do you expect? He’s Ed Westwick! Seriously, he should take it down a notch. DIVA!

Robert Pattinson: “Who the ferque is this diva?”
Photo by: AT1/Xposure/starmaxinc.com 2010 3/17/10 Robert Pattinson at the premiere of Rem

I don’t even know when I really began to fall for Robert “Sparkles” Pattinson. But at some point, it became less about making “Sparkles” jokes and more about doing some vague stalking of my Sparkles. He’s actually not the dude the Twihards think of him as – you know, Edward Cullen. He’s not the brooding badass/romantic. Sparkles is actually showing himself off as the goofy, funny, intelligent, perverse, self-deprecating, sweet-natured kid. Which I prefer. Anyway, Sparkles is doing some promotional duties for Remember Me in England, and we’ve got another gem of an interview.

The interview is from the Sunday Times (full piece here), and I’m going to put most of it up, just because I like the scene of it. Note this – the writer mentions that Sparkles is “being firmly guarded by a brace of film execs when I arrive for the interview” and there’s a “spiky PR woman” who “loudly repeats instructions that there are to be ‘no personal questions‘.” Apparently, a Spanish reporter was “nearly thrown out” for asking Sparkles if he liked to cook. Yikes. Take it down a notch, Remember Me promotional lackeys. What are they afraid of? That Sparkles will mention that he’s allergic to vaginas?

“Like, who the ferque is this diva?” says someone, and by the time I am ushered next door to meet him, I’m thinking the same. But as soon as I clap eyes on him, and take in that kittenish smile, the tousled, leonine eyebrows and — of course — the lush whip of unwashed hair, all that instantly vanishes. Pattinson is calm, polite and pleasant: heaven on a stick.

Swigging nonchalantly from a large bottle of Hildon like Stoli at a Facebook house party, he is also utterly oblivious to the commotion outside. And as for being a diva, well, let’s just say his agent, a jaded LA type who sits in the room with him, is far from impressed with his attempts so far, rolling his eyes when Pattinson asks: “Nick, am I a diva?” The actor furrows his brow. “I mean, I had a very diva-ish conversation with some people about some stuff in this film about a day ago…” Nick sighs and drawls: “He just said what he thought in a script meeting. Please don’t use that as an example.”

“But I was very… bold,” protests Pattinson. Of course, that is exactly what he isn’t, because ever since his first knicker-melting appearance in Twilight, Pattinson, 23, has become a byword for shy hotness. Formerly a public-school hoodie from southwest London with a bit part in Harry Potter, he now commands £8m a movie and is such a huge lust object that he is unable to go anywhere unattended. During the filming of Remember Me, “3,500 people turned up and went completely mental”, he says. He is constantly asked for kisses and autographs, and recently, when he joked that the best way to get his attention was to take your clothes off, to his horror one girl in the audience promptly did so. Does he find the attention irritating? He shrugs. “I guess it’s part of your reality,” he says, before admitting he’s a “little bit harder to deal with” now. “I get stressed out much quicker.”

Then again, being beautiful “is quite hard”, even though he insists that 50% of people don’t get his appeal: “They’re like, what’s that all about?” Certainly, today, he is trying his best not to be beautiful, in a greasy cap and sweats. Only his eyebrows seem manicured, although he insists they aren’t. He had them plucked on the first Twilight film, but “you get to the point where you think, ‘Okay, I look like a transvestite now’”.

Not that the girls — Twilight’s obsessed fans are called Twiharders, and a documentary, Robsessed, has been made about them — were put off.

Over the past 18 months, the actor has been linked to countless models and actresses, and recently appeared to confirm the rumours that he was dating Stewart, but then mysteriously claimed that he was “allergic to vagina”. Er, what was that about? Is he dating Stewart then? Or is he, in fact, gay? I heard his two older sisters used to dress him up and call him Claudia when he was a boy.

Actually, he’s “straight”, he says. He found the male-on-male sex scenes he had to perform in a film, Little Ashes, last year “strange. I played Salvador Dali. We were both straight, but he was Spanish, so much more confident about being naked and stuff, although when it comes down to it, it’s just as awkward with a girl, especially if you are straight and with a girl you don’t like… Anyway, Javier was really cool. After we had been pretending to have sex on this balcony in Barcelona, he was like, ‘We have such a strange job…’”

Poor Pattinson! Eyeing the bed in his suite, I dare a question about those sex scenes with girls. He famously had to pop a Valium to get through the audition for Twilight, in which he needed to make out on a bed with Stewart. For the love scenes in Remember Me, his co-star Emilie de Ravin “was very, very, very comfortable”, he sighs. “I’m always the one who’s the most uncomfortable. So we came into the room, and they said ‘It’s a closed set,’ blah, blah, and we got on to the bed and the director was like, ‘I got you these things, if just maybe you wanted to use them. You don’t have to use them, maybe it will make you more comfortable.’ They were these bondage things: lube and handcuffs and porn videos. It was so funny!”

“And when you end up doing it, you have this little patch on your privates. I didn’t really tape it up properly, so I’d spent so long taping it round myself and then literally it falls off within one second and it’s taped to the sheet. And you realise the whole crew are looking directly at your butt crack.” He blanches. “I can’t think of anything exciting for them about this. It gives you a lot of respect for porn stars.”

I decide to dive in and ask him about Stewart. Does he believe in love at first sight?

“Yes,” he says. Has he… ever been in love? “Ah, yes, I think so.” “What’s…” Nick looks up from his BlackBerry. “Let’s keep to the film,” he snaps. Pattinson looks embarrassed, but the moment has passed, and I am to leave. He gets up and gives me a kiss on the cheek: light and soft and not at all unfresh. I read somewhere one girl’s parents paid £20,000 in a charity auction for one of those.

[From The Times - UK]

See? Sparkles is totally swoon-worthy. I laughed so hard at the “you get to the point where you think, ‘Okay, I look like a transvestite now’” line. He’s actually a really, really funny kid, and I would like to see him try his hand at a comedy. I mean, he probably couldn’t do Jim Carrey-esque gags (thank God), but Sparkles could try a comedy that had a darker, more sardonic wit. I’m thinking something written by Quentin Tarantino. How much would you love that?

DWTS’ Mark Ballas rips Kate Gosselin: ‘standoffish,’ assumes she’s hard to train

fp_4701348_gosselin_kate_cj
Kate Gosselin made a guest host appearance on The View this week, during which she took time to deny a story in the NY Post that she was “frosty” and a “diva” on the set of Dancing With The Stars. Kate’s main excuse was that she was primarily training for the show from her basement, but she did say that she was in LA on set for five days, calling it “a huge honor” and saying that she “met everybody [and] had a great time.” One person Kate met, professional ballroom dancer and Dancing with The Stars regular, Mark Ballas, agrees with the Post’s story that she’s not the easiest person to get along with. He told US Weekly that he did meet Kate on set and called her “standoffish.” He also made a hilarious dig at her dancing ability. He said that Kate’s trainer and partner, Tony Dovolani, is a friend of his, and he’s sure he’ll “whip her into shape. Whatever you can get out of that!” I love it!

Kate Gosselin may be able to laugh off rumors of her diva behavior on the set of Dancing With the Stars — but her new colleagues aren’t so sure.

“I’m not the type of person to judge…” dancer Mark Ballas told UsMagazine.com of Gosselin at Wednesday’s Drai’s Hollywood grand opening event in West Hollywood. “And I’m not going to be like ‘I don’t like [Kate]…”

But?

“But, I mean, she’s pretty, you know, standoffish, which is kind of weird.”

Ballas, pro partner to Shannen Doherty this season, told Us about meeting the reality mom for the first time.

“I don’t really know her, but when I met her she wasn’t kind of like, ‘hello’ or anything. I say ‘hey,’ and she was like ‘oh hey.’ I was like, ‘Okay!’”

Ballas added, “She has a great partner, Tony [Dovolani] who is a dear friend of mine, so I’m sure he will whip her into shape. Whatever you can get out of that!”

During her Wednesday appearance on The View, Gosselin poo-poo’d the New York Post’s report that she “sets herself apart” from other DWTS contenders and “wants to be queen bee.” “I’m 3,000 miles away! I was out [L.A.] once for five days and met everyone and had a great time.”

[From US Weekly]

If the guy who is partners with Shannen Doherty is calling Gosselin standoffish, you know she is! In other news about semi-famous people dissing Gosselin, Kendra Wilkinson is being widely quoted as saying that, unlike Kate, she wouldn’t do DWTS with young kids at home. Kendra’s statements aren’t as bad as they’re being made out to be, she just says it’s not for her. I don’t think she’s really going after Kate like some are making out. I dislike Kate as much as the next person, but Kendra’s son is just a few months old and Kate’s youngest are five. She does have eight kids at home, though! There’s a very valid point to be made about mom’s working out of the home and how it’s not a big deal when everyday people do it, but Kate gets bashed for it. She isn’t “just like moms everywhere working” though as she claims, and she doesn’t publicly acknowledge all the help she has. She just bugs, and she’s a snotty media-hungry person. That’s why she’s being called out for trying to act like an average working mom.

To focus on something more positive, what a cutie Mark Ballas is! He hasn’t been on my radar before, but he definitely is now!

Kate Gosselin speaks at women’s conference, is a “total diva” on DWTS

infphoto_1216791
Kate Gosselin is continuing to make public appearances as gears up to spend 3-4 days away from home appearing on Dancing with The Stars, “because she insists on putting her children first.” The much reviled reality star spoke at a Women’s expo sponsored by a local hospital in South Bend, Indiana Saturday. She had her hair extensions in again, after removing them briefly to sport a short round bob. Kate discussed her children, career as a nurse, and her upcoming sting on DWTS. There’s at least one video of this that a person in the audience recorded, and Radar’s account is accurate in that Kate didn’t say much of interest. I barely caught anything about her infertility treatments as Radar reports, but the first part of the speech could have been cut off. Her speech was pretty boring, although she did talk about her career as a nurse. She said “as you know I am a nurse… it feels like 100 years ago now. When I walked through those doors [of the hospital]
this morning, I felt very at home like I was going back to work. That’s a good thing
.” This begs the question – why doesn’t she go back to work as a nurse, then? The answer is obvious, she’s getting paid much more for “putting her kids first” by switching out her hair every couple of weeks and doing more reality shows.

As for her kids, she said “They’re happy and thriving and we’re working together as we find our new normal.”

I’m working hard as a mom at home, and as a working traveling mom. I just completed my third book… I’m dancing every day… for Dancing with The Stars. It is so out of the ordinary for me and so fun.”

Speaking of Kate’s gig on Dancing, The NY Post reports that she’s being a “total diva” on set and is rude and “frosty” to fellow cast and crewmembers. This is consistent with other reports we’ve heard about the mom of eight, and if you watch her show she’s a definite taskmaster who takes no prisoners. I believe this. What’s more is that Kate allegedly kept Johnny Weir from participating as he refused to be on the same show. For shame! I would much rather see Weir than Gosselin any day.

Kate Gosselin is being a “total diva” on the set of “Dancing With the Stars” — snubbing other contestants and behaving frostily to crew members, sources tell Page Six. The recently divorced mom of eight has been rehearsing for the ABC show, which starts its new season March 22. Her icy behavior also persuaded Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir to pull out of talks about being on the show because he didn’t want to work alongside Gosselin. A “DWTS” source said, “Kate doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants . . . While there’s a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars including Pamela Anderson, Kate has set herself apart . . . She wants to be queen bee.” Gosselin’s rep didn’t get back to us. A show source said, “She’s been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids. For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.”

[From The NY Post]

Weir said last week that his cousin lives right next to Kate’s old house and that “it was really annoying for everybody” to have to deal with paparazzi in the neighborhood. He also trashed Kate’s behavior at a charity skating event they both attended in Connecticut last September. He said “Kate Gosselin was playing the diva act…I was disappointed to meet her and I was so disappointed she was involved in the show.” Team Weir! I’m hoping Kate gets voted off Dancing in the first or second week.

Are Keira Knightley & Scarlett Johansson in a diva war?

vf21

I’m not really sure what I think about this strange “Diva Alert” report from Star Magazine. Allegedly, Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson are up for two roles in The Emperor’s Children, a film about blah, blah, pre-9/11 New York. Apparently, they’ve both been acting like crazy divas about their wardrobes and shoot dates and stuff. The weird thing is that neither has actually signed on to the film, which by the looks of IMDB, is still in the very early stages of pre-production. So what is there to bicker about? I don’t get it. Anyway, enjoy this totally fictitious drama (and the slightly NSFW full ScarJo butt-shot):

vf1

Have they gone diva? Sources from the upcoming flick The Emperor’s Children – about a group of New Yorkers turning 30 just before 9/11 – tell Star about the outrageous demands of Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley, who are negotiating for roles in the film.

“These two are bickering about everything from wardrobe to their character to shoot dates,” a source tells Star. “Normally ScarJo and Keira are so easy to work with, but they can’t seem to agree on anything! I think they’re very competitive with each other, and they want to see who gets more.”

It’s so bad that costar Robert Redford is read to step in and referee, the source adds. “Robert’s never seen behavior like this before – and he’s been around forever!”

[From Star Magazine, print edition, March 8, 2010]

Meh. I wonder what the hell caused such a random and easily fact-checked report? As far as I know, ScarJo is still on Broadway doing a play, and Keira is supposed to be one of the most pleasant and down-to-earth actresses out there. I have no idea what’s going on. But I liked the Robert Redford shout-out. We need more Redford stories.

Mo’Nique: Why would I promote my film for free when I could get paid?

wenn2720448

Last fall, as the cast of Precious geared up for their promotional tour, there were more than a few articles written about Mo’Nique. Unfortunately, not all of the pieces concentrated on her enormous talent or her stellar performance. It was reported that Mo’Nique was killing her Oscar chances by pulling a diva act for the promotional trail, and demanding to only do paid appearances to promote the film. Those reports were around for about a month, then they kind of died, and Mo’Nique has gone to win a Golden Globe, a SAG award, a BAFTA award, and numerous critics’ awards. So you’d think that someone was just trying to circulate some negative press in the heat of the Oscar campaign, right? Not so much. As it turns out, Mo’Nique is a little crazy about her paid appearances, as a new interview reveals:

Mo’Nique won the Golden Globe. She also picked up a SAG Award. And don’t forgot about her most recent honor at the BAFTAs. So easy money says the actress will be victorious at the Academy Awards next month. Right?

“No. No,” says Mo’Nique.

“See, with any of the awards, I don’t never feel like I got this, ’cause I think the universe would say, ‘Really? So you that special that you already know?’

“So I’m appreciative of when they do call my name and I’m appreciative if they don’t call my name,” said Mo’Nique in an interview from Atlanta, where she was working on a comedy tour “Spread the Love” that kicks off March 19 in New Orleans.

The 42-year-old actress-comedian has had a breakthrough year because of her riveting portrayal as the abusive Mary Jones in “Precious: Based on the Novel `Push’ by Sapphire.”

She talks to The Associated Press about her honors and the comedy tour.

AP: In the middle of this busy awards season, you’re planning a comedy tour?
Mo’Nique: Standup is my first baby. Like, I’ll be doing standup, sugar, when I’m like 97 years old. I hope to God I can still make it happen.

AP: You’ve won so many awards. Will you take them on the road with you?
Mo’Nique: (Laughs) Hell no! No, baby, that’s too much.

AP: There’s been a lot of talk about you not showing up early on to promote “Precious” because you were worried about money.
Mo’Nique: Well, when they say Mo’Nique was worried about money, I wasn’t worried about money. Mo’Nique has a talk show that comes on five nights a week and she tapes six times a week for that talk show. And yes, when I leave my home, I leave my home and get paid to leave my home, so I wasn’t worried about money. They simply said, “You know, well Mo’Nique we can’t pay you to do that.” … We said, “OK, baby. Well, then, that’s not something we can do.” Because, when I leave out, why ever would I go do something for free when I can go and do something and bring money back home to my family?

AP: Has anyone, after watching the movie, come up to you and opened up about the past?
Mo’Nique: It’s been quite a few. But one, it was this Asian brother at the DGA (Directors Guild of America) screening, and he came up to me and he had been crying, and he said, “Mo’Nique, what I’m getting ready to say to you is gonna sound weird. But I am Mary Jones, and I was Mary Jones to my brother and my sister.” And we hugged and we were crying, and I said, “Congratulations for saying it out loud, and go get you some help.”

AP: How does that make you feel?
Mo’Nique: When you hear that you say, “We’ve already won.” So when people say, “Mo’Nique, are you excited about the Oscars and are you excited about the (NAACP) Image awards, are you excited?” I’m excited anytime somebody wants to say, “You know what, we appreciate what you did.” But when you get that, that’s priceless.

[From Huffington Post]

First of all, one of the things Kaiser hates most of all is when Kaiser reads some celebrity talking about themselves in the third person. Second of all, I gave Monique a general pass on some of the early rumors of her diva act because I wasn’t sure that they were true, and because I honestly thought Mo’Nique probably had no idea how an Oscar campaign goes, and how much ass-kissing you have to do. That pass is revoked. Third, beyond the stupid move of putting yourself out there as someone obsessed with getting paid for every appearance during the heat of a campaign, how unattractive is Mo’Nique’s attitude in general? It’s like she spends her life keeping a mental tally of what she’s getting paid for and what she’s owed. Ugh.

Thanks to LaineyGossip for the link!

Victoria Beckham thinks she & Jennifer Lopez are the same size

wenn54185611

It’s no secret to me that Jennifer Lopez is delusional, that she thinks she’s God’s gift, that she spends her time wondering aloud about what it will be like when she wins her long-awaited Oscar, that she’s a narcissistic diva. All that being said, I kind of enjoy Jennifer Lopez, much in the same way I enjoy Gwyneth Paltrow. They’re fun because they are so delusional.

Anyhoodle, Jennifer gave an interview to Us Weekly where she kind of went off on how great her figure is. She announced to the mag: “My abs are pretty flat for having twins!” When asked how, Lopez replied: “Nothing crazy. It’s about being consistent. That’s it. You have to put the work in. It’s true I could serve coffee using my rear as a ledge, but I’m proud of my butt. A dress shouldn’t look like a coat hanger. Skinny girls miss out.” Okay, Jennifer. We get it. You’re still amazing! What’s weird is that Jennifer’s delusional behavior seems to have rubbed off on Jennifer’s new friend and “designer” Victoria Beckham:

They’re both multi-tasking moms and wives, fashion icons, and pop music veterans, but Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez share one more thing in common, believe it or not: dress sizes!

Although Lopez as is famous for her curves as Beckham is for her rail-thin frame, Beckham tells 10 magazine (via The Cut) that they actually fit into the same dresses.

Discussing her fashion line to the magazine, Beckham, 34, says, “My dresses are for women of all different shapes and sizes. Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore.”

Posh herself sounds as surprised as anyone, adding, “Who’d have thought I’d be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!”

The British star doesn’t note what that exact dress size is.

Even with three sons underfoot, Beckham has said frequently that she still hits the gym seven days a week. “I run so quick after a double espresso, my [sneakers] are on fire! They have sparks!” she says.

Ryan Seacrest, who worked alongside Beckham when she was a guest judge on American Idol, observed that she eats “perfectly… [she says], ‘I’m getting the steamed this, the steamed that.’”

By contrast, Lopez told Allure magazine recently, “I’m not the monster I used to be in the exercise department…You get past your 20s, you’ve got kids…you’re kind of unmotivated. You want to be healthy and look good, but you want to do the least amount to maintain that.”

[From Us Weekly]

Now, I am not saying that Jennifer is big – she’s not. She has a very healthy, lovely figure. I’m just saying that there is no way in hell that Lopez and Posh are the same size. Victoria Beckham is so, so tiny. She’s gaunt! She wears corsets to give herself a waist circumference in the teens! How could they wear the same size? Ugh.

wenn2688645

By the way, here’s Jennifer Lopez’s latest single, “Everybody’s Girl” – just released yesterday. Will this beat out the now-classic single “Louboutins”?

Diva Jon Gosselin making out with girlfriend & scoring swag at Sundance

Jon Gosselin Takes Newest Girlfriend To Utah For Sundance
Everyone’s favorite unlikely manwh*re Jon Gosselin is parading around the Sundance film festival sucking face with his new, rich girlfriend, sucking up swag and demanding special treatment. Several outlets have stories about Jon’s antics and how he’s behaving like the spoiled adolescent he’s known as. Gosselin is said to be demanding security and special treatment while real celebrities are content to be left alone. He’s also of course hitting up the gifting suites and making away with all sorts of goodies. He’s legally obligated to pay taxes on all that swag and I hope someone reports him!

The divorced dad of eight has moved into the snow-covered Utah mountains and is staying at the family home of new galpal, Morgan Christie. The two have been spotted all over town snagging freebie swag and making out in public.

“Jon and Morgan are really making a spectacle of themselves and Jon expects star treatment everywhere he goes,” an insider tells Fox411. “He has turned into a total diva. He and Morgan have been setting themselves up at free events each day, they request security teams to help them and make sure the paparazzi are around to catch them.”

The two decided to make a special date night out of the Kelis performance at the Film Lounge/House of Hype on Friday night.

“Jon made sure he was escorted into the venue with full security and he insisted on watching the performance with Morgan on the side of the stage, all alone, while real celebrities were in the audience with everyone else. Morgan was ALL over Jon during the performance. Then, when Jon was ready to leave, which was before the concert was over, he made security escort him and Morgan to his car. It was lame!”
Ryan Reynolds and Bob Saget were also at the House of Hype for Kelis and the two men acted a little different than Jon and Morgan. “Ryan and Bob hung out with the regular crowd and they drank beer and mingled with everyone all night. They were laid back and cool while Jon acted like he was a superstar. Everyone in the audience was wondering why Jon demanded such treatment.”

US Weekly has more on Jon’s bad behavior. They’re reporting on the same party on Friday, in which Jon and his new girl engaged in “Tons of PDA,” and “Anyone who saw him remarked how inappropriate it was. Gosselin seemed to love the attention.” Jon is staying at a “massive mansion” owned by Morgan’s family nearby. US also claims to have a source who says Jon is at Sundance in order to talk about “walk on roles” for films. Good luck getting that past TLC, which has an injunction against him for all public appearances. I would assume film roles are included in that.

Meanwhile MSNBC’s The Scoop reports that Jon was heard enthusing on “multiple occasions” about how he would like to pose in front of the movie poster for a film called Douchebag. Unlike Jon’s real life role, it’s been getting positive reviews.

Star Jones escorted by security off set of Insider after screaming match
AFI Film Festival Screening of

Star Jones’ career has only gone downhill since she alienated everyone on The View by lying about her gastric bypass surgery and securing freebies for her 2004 wedding by mentioning sponsors on the air. She had a talk show on Court Tv/TruTv in 2007, but it was canceled within a year. Now Jones has been fired from her latest job, a six week guest spot on The Insider, after a shouting match with a producer in which security had to be called to escort her off set. Star insisted that the program topics were beneath her and again managed to alienate another employer with her demanding diva attitude:

[Star] landed a six week gig as a panelist on the showbiz program, but security guards escorted her off the set after she engaged in a screaming match with a producer, a show source told The Enquirer.

“At first, Star got along with the producers just fine,” the source divulged. “But as she got more comfortable, she started complaining about the topics they wanted her to discuss. She said they were too trashy and ‘Star doesn’t do trash!”

Star – who famously locked horns with Barbara Walters on “The View” – also sent an e-mail to the show’s host Lara Spencer blasting fellow celebrity panelist Niecy Nash, said the source.

“Star said she couldn’t understand why Niecy was a regular on the show, while she, Star, was not,” said the source.

“Lara was upset by the e-mail, but instead of answering Star, she sent it to Niecy!”

Before Niecy could respond, 47-year-old Star and a producer faced off right before the holiday break, said the source.

“Star had made it clear that she didn’t like what was scheduled for the show that day – what she called ‘young Hollywood bimbos and reality show wannabes,” said the source.

“Star reminded the producers that she was an attorney and could offer intelligent insight on the legal issues of the day, instead of wondering if Jon Gosselin had a new girlfriend!”

“Star said she wanted to add some class to the program, to discuss things that made a difference and not dumb down the show.

“The argument got heated, and then it turned into a shouting match. Star obviously wasn’t going to back down, so the producer asked her to leave, adding they wouldn’t ‘bother’ her anymore with their trivial show.

“Star exploded! She started yelling insults. Finally, the producer called security to escort her off the set and off the studio lot.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, February 1, 2010]

Oh that Star, she just “adds class” to everything she’s involved with. I checked Star’s Twitter account to see if she addressed this at all, but she’s mostly tweeting about her faith and politics. She wants universal health care and it’s looking bleaker now that Massachusetts’ went to a Republican. Now that I read Star’s tweets she’s growing on me a little. Her big smiling mug as the background is kind of annoying, but she’s tweeting about being grateful and happy and her Twitter account isn’t as famewh*rish as a lot of other celebrities. Maybe she had a legitimate reason to get all up in someone’s face. After all, Star can’t be expected to talk about Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend. She has to focus on herself and all the swag she can score.
