Jon Gosselin has filed paperwork to extend the dissolution of his marriage by 90 days. From the way he words his statement, he wants to have a better relationship with Kate for the sake of their family, not to get back together with her romantically. He seems wholly motivated by the fact that his role on his reality show has been cut, though. Just this morning TLC announced that he was off the show and that it would now be called simply “Kate Plus 8.” See - that rhymes and Jon’s role was always superfluous. A source told People that “Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on.” Jon’s lawyer wants us to believe that he had some great personal revelation that he was a douchbag manwh*re and wanted to change his ways, and that it had nothing to do with him being dropped from the show.

It’s a busy day in Gosselin-ville. Jon Gosselin is trying to slow down — if not halt altogether — his divorce from Kate Gosselin, telling In Touch Weekly exclusively: “I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated … I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon.” He’s filed paperwork looking to stall the divorce for 90 days “to regain control over the future of our family.” In other news, TLC has announced that ‘Jon & Kate Plus Eight’ will now be titled ‘Kate Plus Eight,’ and Jon’s role will be minimized.

Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, tells In Touch that his client “woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and didn’t like the reflection.” In turn, Gosselin filed paperwork hoping to stall his divorce from Kate for 90 days, telling In Touch it will “enable Kate and me to restore our relationship as cooperative parents and to open up our lines of communication. I hope that she will be as receptive and enthusiastic as I am to do what is best for our family.”

“Even though we were heading for a divorce, it appeared that Kate had been suffering from this divorce as much as I had. That’s why I asked my attorney to put the brakes on this divorce so I could try to regain control over the future of our family. So Kate and I could join on a cooperative course that would benefit our family — not destroy it,” Jon tells In Touch Weekly.

The news comes as TLC has announced that the reality show that shot them to fame and eventually contributed to their split is being renamed to ‘Kate Plus Eight,’ dropping the ‘Jon &’ part. Jon will still be on the show, only with lessening frequency.

The renamed “Kate Plus Eight,” which begins Nov. 2, will continue to chronicle the lives of the Gosselin kids (5-year-old sextuplets and 8-year-old twins) but will also focus on Kate’s role as a single mother.

“It’s not a huge shift, but it’s reflective of where the show was already going,” said Eileen O’Neill, TLC’s president and general manager.

“Jon’s going to be involved in the show,” she said, adding that he will be seen less often than before. TLC retains an exclusive arrangement with him, as well as the rest of the family, O’Neill said.

Popeater also quotes TLC’s President Eileen O’Neill as semi-confirming the news that talks are either underway for some kind of new reality show with Kate Gosselin, or that the focus of the show will change to go along with whatever Kate wants to do “I think there’s an opportunity for Kate beyond her role as a supermom to explore her other interests.”

We heard in early August that Jon was pissing off the executives at TLC by wearing Jon Hardy t-shirts that needed to be blurred out for the show. It was also reported around that time that TLC had put Jon on notice that he was violating the “Morals Clause” of his contract. That doesn’t seem to have slowed him down, and we’ve heard from at least four different women who claim to have had relations with him during his separation - including one who told In Touch that she had a threesome with the bloated dad of eight for two nights running in his hotel room in Vegas. Jon can’t take all that back with some lame statement that he “looked in the mirror and didn’t like the reflection.” Jon looked at his checkbook and didn’t like the balance. If he had another show in the works or any kind of potential money-making opportunity he wouldn’t have filed for a divorce extension. This is a last ditch effort by a lame guy who doesn’t want to admit that he has no other options than to continue with the reality show he supposedly hates.

The National Enquirer has a story about a subject that’s been hinted about in previous articles. Namely, that Eddie Cibrian’s mom is totally Team Brandi in the epic Eddie-LeAnn-Brandi scandal. The Enquirer basically claims that Eddie’s mom Hortensia doesn’t even want to meet LeAnn, and this is totally driving LeAnn crazy. Hortensia thinks Eddie should just finish with his strange and go back to his wife. Well played, mom:

Adding to LeAnn’s insecurity, Eddie still hasn’t introduced her to his sons - Mason, 6, and 2-year-old Jake. Eddie even caught Mason’s soccer game on Sept. 12 by himself.

“LeAnn desperately wants to meet the boys, but so far Eddie hasn’t let her,” the source revealed. “When they hang out, it’s usually just the two of them. Eddie’s friends and family still haven’t adjusted to the idea of LeAnn on his arm.”

Despite a recent getaway to Mexico, the family tension has LeAnn fearing that Cibrian, whose mother is reportedly battling breast cancer, will dump her, said the source.

The whole “Eddie doesn’t want to introduce his kids to LeAnn” thing is also a running theme in In Touch Weekly’s little story about Eddie and LeAnn. In Touch claims that LeAnn and Eddie are “shacked up” in a Beverly Hills home “just blocks away from Eddie’s children’s school.” According to IT’s source, “Eddie wanted to be close to his kids, because that is very important to him - although LeAnn hasn’t met the kids.”

Meanwhile, the source goes on to say that Brandi Glanville “is so angry… she doesn’t want LeAnn around her kids, and she feels like they are being really disrespectful. Brandi wanted nothing to do with Eddie after she learned he was seeing LeAnn.” I actually disagree. After Brandi spent weeks bad-mouthing Eddie to whoever would listen, she seems to be taking the high road as of late, almost as if she figured she could let “sources” do her dirty work. It doesn’t really matter - public opinion is on her side in that respect. Although if I were Brandi, I would be concerned about the kids too. LeAnn seems sort of Alex Forrester-esque.

Sean Penn doesn’t seem to be mourning the loss of his marriage to Robin Wright Penn. Robin called it quits, finally, last month. She gave several interviews where she sounded like she had finally come to terms with the fact that Sean Penn sucks as a person, and that she could do a lot better. Allegedly, Sean did try to reconcile with Robin at first, but she was totally over his tantrums.

After that, the rumors morphed into claims that Madonna and Sean would or were reconnecting. Though that would be really juicy gossip if they were getting back together, I really think that Sean isn’t interested in women his own age. He likes ‘em young. So it came as no surprise when Sean stepped out publicly with his latest “girlfriend” - 25-year-old model Jessica White. They were spotted in New York over the weekend, entering a restaurant separately. But they’ve been seen all over the place, and Sean’s definitely not hiding her:

Hugh Hefner claims his soon-to-be ex-wife Kimberley Conrad cheated on him before their marriage fell apart — but that’s not why he’s finally demanding a divorce.

TMZ just spoke with the Playboy kingpin, who told us he made the decision to officially break it off with his estranged wife, and mother of his two children, strictly because she filed a $5 million lawsuit against him last month relating to the sale of a house they owned together.

As for why he had stayed married during the 11-years they have been estranged, Hef says, “At the time of the separation, I was happy to get a divorce … I only remained married for the sake of the children at her request.”

Hef told us that he was “faithful” during the time they were together, but says Kim had cheated on him “early in the relationship.” Hef says he knows who the other person is, but would not reveal the identity.

Hef did reveal his frustrations with the lawsuit — claiming he has paid Kimberley every cent that he agreed to pay her in their prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, adding, “I have been generous to a fault.”

Earlier this year there were rumors that Hef and Kimberly were secretly together again. Maybe that had something to do with all this.

I have a really hard time believing that Hugh Hefner was totally faithful during their marriage. I just doubt the guy can do it, though I also appreciate that he generally is open and honest about his lifestyle. So many things about the situation with Kimberly Conrad are strange. I mean she lives in a house on the Playboy mansion’s property. Which is separated from the grounds by a hedges or some such thing, for the sake of their grown sons. But clearly Kim and Hef had an amicable situation that worked for them for a long, long time. Their happy estrangement was successful longer than most Hollywood marriages.

And while I certainly don’t believe every word out of Hef’s mouth, by most accounts he has been generous with Kimberly, and there’s no reason to believe she’s ever wanted for anything. And he did stay technically married to her, which I guess is what she wanted. You could easily argue that didn’t help their sons at all, but who knows. It just seems strange for her to suddenly get so pissed off about this house sale. And all he’s got to do is file for divorce. She obviously knew he could do that. It feels like there are still a lot of holes in this story.

Surprising no one, LeAnn Rimes has officially filed for divorce from her estranged husband Dean Sheremet. The couple married in 2002 when LeAnn was 19 years old and Dean was 21 - and her backup dancer. The couple officially separated back in July, after months of rumors that LeAnn and Eddie Cibrian had been engaged in a full-fledged affair. This comes one week after Eddie officially filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville.

Meanwhile, Eddie and LeAnn have been going on public “dates” for several weeks now. They’ve been out golfing, attending Kings of Leon concerts, and the rumor is that Eddie is now living with LeAnn, in her Los Angeles home. Us Weekly points out that LeAnn filed for divorce after returning from a “romantic” vacation with Eddie in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Us Weekly has also put the drama on this week’s cover - it shows LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian looking happy with the headline: “Heartbreak & Lies: Their Exes Speak Out”. There’s a promise of “their spurned spouses become angry allies” and “Fighting back tears, Dean Sheremet tells Us, ‘I’m doing OK.’” Us hasn’t released anything online yet, but here’s LeAnn’s divorce announcement:

Cibrian, meanwhile, filed for divorce from wife Brandi Glanville last week.

Cibrian’s ex has called him “somebody I just don’t know” and claims she sensed the attraction between the two when they filmed their Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall.

Rimes’s longtime friend, Dope Den Productions founder Jeff Berger, says that Rimes and Sheremet, a songwriter and former dancer, are “doing their best to handle it as mature adults.”

“Dean’s her best friend and that’s the crux of the issue; when you love and care about somebody who’s your best friend – how not to cause them pain,” he says. “Le and Dean are both great people and, unfortunately, going through a tough situation. But they’re doing what needs to be done in as amicable a way as possible.”

Sheremet, a former professional dancer, is attending culinary school in New York. He posted a message on his Twitter page Tuesday: “Back to school kids, first time in 10 years.”

Sources claim that LeAnn is completely paying Dean off with a nice apartment in New York, and most likely a sweet divorce settlement. Dean hasn’t said much for or against LeAnn so far, and I suspect he’ll continue to keep his mouth shut and wait for the payday. As for LeAnn’s future plans, there were some reports last week that she’s already planning on marrying Eddie. Even though those reports came from Star Magazine and In Touch, I tend to believe them. I think LeAnn has fallen for Eddie, and she thinks he’s some kind of “catch”. When you look at it that way, it’s kind of sad.

Oh, snap! Sorry for the outdated excited utterance, but it seems apropos for this utterly B-List scandal. Eddie Cibrian has released his first statement since officially filing for divorce from his estranged wife Brandi Glanville. He had previously released a couple of statements and one now-classic interview (referencing the infamous “unfair fishbowl”) before he filed for divorce. Meanwhile, Brandi has People and Us Weekly on speed dial, basically issuing one bitchy interview a day for the past week.

Previously, Brandi had said “Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.” Then she told Us Weekly, “Eddie is a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker, and he has been an absentee father. Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl’.” After that, Eddie and LeAnn made several public outings, then Eddie officially filed for divorce. Brandi did another round of interviews (‘atta girl), but Eddie has been silent. Until now! Let me tell you… Eddie brings his inner bitch out:

Actor Eddie Cibrian is breaking his silence in wake of his bitter divorce from his estranged wife Brandi Glanville and scandalous affair with country pop star LeAnn Rimes. This past Monday, the CSI: Miami star filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court to end his seven year marriage to the former model.

Now, in a statement released by Cibrian Thursday, the actor says: “From the outset I have made a conscious decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the press. While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children,” Cibrian continued. “I love my boys very much. So he’s basically telling his ex-wife to shut the hell up already. I’m sure Brandi will take that under advisement. Here’s the thing - I know that Eddie is a womanizing douche, a liar, and a pretty disgusting man. But I’m not so sure he’s a bad father. I don’t have enough information on that, so I think his positioning as the wounded, victimized man who is separated from his kids might work in his favor. Meh.

The tabloids are all over this story this week. Most of them are highlighting a very LeAnn Rimes-friendly version for some reason. Every source points out that Eddie has been spending most of his nights at LeAnn’s house in Brentwood. In Touch Weekly takes a more judicious point of view, calling in an “expert” to tut-tut that Eddie and LeAnn are “acting like teenagers instead of adults.” In Touch also points out that Dean Sheremet is moving into a New York apartment that LeAnn is paying for, but Dean still tweeted “Dishonesty is the most deplorable quality” the day after LeAnn and Eddie’s outing to a Kings of Leon concert.

Star Magazine has a source who claims “LeAnn knows she found true love with Eddie… Now she wants the rest of the world to know it too! She wants to be able to go everywhere with him… She feels like the worst is behind them and now they can be happy together.” Star points out that LeAnn is - wait for it - already making wedding plans. LeAnn has “already subscribed to Brides Magazine and talks about getting married in Las Vegas… as soon as both their divorces are done, they’re heading to Sin City! She’s dying to be his wife and call herself Mrs. Cibrian. She even wants to give him more kids!” Oh, barf. She and Eddie really do deserve each other… just wait until he gets another Lifetime movie, honey.

Robin Wright Penn is totally done with Sean Penn. We could have figured this out last week, when Robin delivered the one-two punch to Sean, badmouthing their relationship in a magazine interview, then filing for divorce the next day. After all that Robin had put up with, I don’t think anyone begrudged her statement at the time: “I hit that crossroad a while ago. I know what I don’t want. There’s no limbo anymore. There’s no time. I’m too old for this sh-t.” It was a long time coming, and now the Enquirer is reporting that Robin is keeping her act together as Sean begs her to come back. Robin hit her breaking point after accumulating twenty years of “the lies, the cheating rumors and the temper tantrums.” Well done, Robin:

Sean Penn begged his wife to stay with him - but she ignored his desperate pleas, moved out and filed for divorce.

“Robin finally stood her ground and said she’d had enough,” a source close to both told the Enquirer. “She got her own place and moved out.”

Sean pleaded for one more chance, said the source, but Rob filed divorce papers in Marin County on August 12.

“Robin doesn’t want a dime from Sean - nothing,” said the source. “She’s just had it with all the lies, the cheating rumors and the temper tantrums. Now she just wants to be left alone to start her life over. Sean is still begging her to take him back. But Robin insists it is finally over.”

Sean and Robin had been together since 1989, and married in 1996. When Sean filed for separation in April of this year, he withdrew it a month later.

“It was an arrogant mistake,” pugnacious Penn told a reporter at the time. He tried hard for a reconciliation, but in a recent interview, Robin revealed she had no plans to fix the broken marriage. “I know what I don’t want,” she said.

Here’s the thing - if Robin ever did go back to Sean, my guess is that nothing would really change. He would still treat her like dirt, he would still lie and cheat and throw his asinine tantrums, just because that’s their dynamic. It’s better if he just finds some young girl who thinks that those qualities make him some kind of complicated genius. I hope Robin continues to show this backbone, and I hope she moves on with someone really great. I swear, I could see her with Clooney. If only he liked smart women his own age.

Eddie Cibrian has officially filed for divorce from his wife, Brandi Glanville, according to E!. Eddie filed earlier this week, and Brandi went straight to E! and People Magazine to dish the dirt and get out a few more bitchy statements. Which is totally her right, and I hope she keeps it coming. First, here’s E!’s report - Brandi jokes that she’s “looking forward” to seeing pictures of Eddie and LeAnn Rimes on vacation:

Eddie Cibrian, who is finally romancing LeAnn Rimes out in public (sort of), has filed for divorce from his wife of eight years, Brandi Glanville, E! News confirmed Tuesday.

“He filed yesterday and I accepted it,” Glanville told E! exclusively. “We’re getting a divorce. We talked to each other yesterday.”

Which was just in time, apparently, because it turns out that Cibrian is already planning a romantic getaway with his “new” girlfriend, according to his soon-to-be ex-wife.

“They’re going on vacation this weekend to Mexico,” Glanville, who has made no secret of her feelings toward the recently separated Rimes, told E! “I’m looking forward to seeing those pictures.”

A rep for Cibrian had “no comment” at this time.

Glanville and Cibrian, who have two children together, confirmed about a month ago that they had separated—a good four months after rumors arose of an affair between the 36-year-old hunk and Rimes, his costar in the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Rimes and estranged hubby Dean Sheremet revealed just days later that they had been living apart “for quite some time.”

Which apparently didn’t come as a surprise to Glanville, who says in the latest issue of Us Weekly that Cibrian is “a compulsive liar, cheater and a home wrecker.”

“Eddie’s displays of poor taste have hurt our two children,” she said. “Eddie may just end up drowning himself in that ‘unfair fishbowl.’”

But now that divorce proceedings are under way, Glanville is seeing things in a more positive light.

“It’s just over for me,” she told E! News. “We’re both happy. This is going to be good.”

Brandi also gave a good interview to People yesterday, where she talked about how she met LeAnn when she and Eddie were working on Northern Lights. Brandi noticed how LeAnn and Eddie flirted with each other, but she also noticed how close LeAnn and then-husband Dean Sheremet seemed. Brandi pulls a fast one and says that she’s been trying to contact Dean - I bet she has!

Long before Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes took their relationship public last week, Cibrian’s wife Brandi Glanville had an inkling that her husband was attracted to the singer.

Recalling when she and Cibrian went on double dates with Rimes and husband Dean Sheremet in Canada during the filming of Lifetime’s Northern Lights, Glanville says she noticed a little flirting between the costars.

“We went to play pool, went for sushi, dancing,” Glanville tells PEOPLE, adding that although she’s used to woman fawning over her husband, “it was different this time. It was a little more reciprocated.”

At the same time, Glanville noticed how affectionate Rimes, 27, was with Sheremet, 28. “They were very touchy-feely,” she says. “They seemed happy. [But] I felt like it was almost like ‘I love my husband. I’m not after your husband.’”

After reports of an affair surfaced in March, Glanville, 36, says she and Cibrian, 36, sought counseling to try and salvage their marriage, and she publicly stood by in him in April.

“We were in therapy, but he never stopped talking to [LeAnn] so how could that have worked?” asks Glanville, who says she plans to file for divorce.

Cibrian and Rimes took their relationship public last week – one month after Rimes and Sheremet announced their separation – at a public golf date Thursday and a Kings of Leon concert Saturday.

Now, Glanville says she’s been “trying to get a hold of” Sheremet. “I feel bad for Dean. It’s a horrible situation for him. I don’t think he’s ready to have a conversation about not being with her.”

Last night a friend of Andre’s added: “Pete’s beyond outraged by this new low. He thinks it’s absolutely disgusting and can’t believe his children are spending time in the presence of this man.”

Katie, 31 – also known as Jordan – has been dating Reid, 34, since last month after her split from Andre.

He has been playing happy families with her four-year-old son Junior, daughter Princess, two, and seven-year-old Harvey from her relationship with Dwight Yorke.

Katie is said to have already discussed marriage with Reid, who has not been a popular choice of boyfriend with some of her friends and family.

Last night his spokesman said he was considering legal action after the pictures from the movie shot in Capel, Surrey, were leaked.

He added: “Killer Bitch is not a porn film, it is a gangster movie in which Alex is the main character.

“The rape scene has been taken completely out of context and Alex is speaking to lawyers.”

Katie and Reid yesterday flew off to Spain, where they will stay until Tuesday.

Wow, so he’s a multi-faceted artist too, just like Katie - how impressive! Although, I’m sure that compared to the crap Katie does to further her “career,” simulating a rape on film is high art. But softcore porn or cage fighting, the guy is incredibly skeezy-looking - just how Katie likes them. Of course, they can’t just take the kids on an outing or jet off to Spain quietly - oh, no! There had to be a throng of photographers there, documenting every nauseating tonsil-hockey session. Reid’s ex-girlfriend, whom he dumped shortly after hooking up with Katie, told the Mirror that he enjoys stripping to show off his body and is desperate to be famous. He even bragged that he had “struck gold” upon meeting and shagging Katie.

Marie Thornett says Alex stripped off at every opportunity - and once even begged her MUM to wax every inch of his body.

The cage fighter loved wearing Gstrings and his bedroom, at his mother’s house, is covered with mirrors so he can admire himself from all angles.

His ex says Alex is obsessed with watching motivational DVDs and, during his quest for fame and fortune, appeared in a sex documentary as a “voyeur” watching a couple romp.

“Alex has only one real love - and that’s himself,” says Marie, who had a 10-year on-off relationship with the 34-year-old fighter.

“Fame and fortune are what drives him. We used to snuggle up and watch Katie and Peter Andre’s TV show.

“He used to joke he’d get with her for the money and then come back to me. It’s definitely not funny now.

“He’s vain and vacuous. I believe they are made for each other.”

Marie was humiliated after she found Alex had hooked up with Jordan.

On July 12 she had to go on a holiday to Majorca alone after he claimed he had landed a big fight and could not go.

But only days later he got together with Jordan. “We stayed in regular text contact through the week,” says Marie. “On July 18 he texted saying how he wished he could be with me.

‘”It was only a few days later, when I got home, I discovered that was the day of Michelle Heaton’s birthday party where he first got it on with Jordan. That was so cruel of him.”

Alex refused to pick up Marie’s calls or return her texts until the following Thursday, when he sent her a message promising: “I care about you and always will.”

But his feelings didn’t stop Reid going to a Liverpool hotel room to have sex with Jordan the same night.

Marie adds: “I was shocked to the core when I found out. It was so sneaky.”

In a further blow, he posted a message on the web which seems to reflect his delight at his new fame. Marie says: “I couldn’t believe it when he posted a message on his Facebook page saying ‘Alex Reid has struck gold’.

Honestly, at this point, any “damage” done to Katie’s “career” is self-inflicted. Maybe she should get her own head in order and focus on mothering those children instead of parading her latest conquest to the press with the intention of hurting her ex even more.

Last week, it looked like Mel Gibson and Robyn Gibson were finding some semblance of peace. Reports indicated that their divorce negotiations were going smoothly, and Robyn even left the country for Oksana Grigorieva’s media blitz. Word was that Mel and Robyn had been meeting secretly at the small church Mel had founded, and had spent some quality time burying the hatchet, for the sake of their kids.

Not so much, as it turns out. The Enquirer is reporting that after a small reconciliation, Robyn “has crafted a startling new plan” to destroy Mel’s soul. ‘Atta girl. Robyn pulled away from making it easy on Mel when she “grew suspicious” of Oksana. Robyn thinks Oksana has a “sketchy past” (duh) and Robyn hired a private investigator to follow Oksana at all times. Robyn truly feels that Oksana is out to get as much money from Mel as possible (dur), and Robyn wants to make sure she and her kids are taken care of first:

Mel’s determination for a quickie divorce has infuriated estranged wife Robyn, and she has crafted a startling new plan to sink his fast-track wedding to pregnant fiancee Oksana Grigorieva, the Enquirer has learned.

Hollywood’s most vicious divorce battle has taken a venomous turn with Mel’s scorned ex putting a private detective on Oksana, and vowing to dismantle his Holy Family Chapel in Agoura Hills, say sources.

According to insiders close to her, Robyn has agreed to a “bifurcated” divorce - a process in which the marriage is terminated quickly, but division of property, alimony, child support or custody arrangements, and determined later.

However, “Robyn is out to get Mel in the end,” says a close family friend. “There’s $1 billion at stake, and Robyn is planning on taking it all, including Mel’s chapel.”

“Her attorneys have finally gotten through to her that the real estate alone the chapel sits on is worth millions. While she’s been a member of the chapel for years, Robyn’s involvement was all because of Mel. She’s not Catholic and she could not care less about Mel’s shrine.”

We recently reported that Robyn and Mel were on good terms and trying to work things out amicably during secret meeting at the chapel. But Robyn made a sudden about-face after she grew increasingly suspicious of Oksana’s motives, and the Gibson children began to resent the Russian pop singer.

“Robyn feels Oksana has a sketchy past, and that she’s using Mel. She also believes Oksana is out to get a big piece of the Gibson family’s financial pie,” the friend divulged. “She’s so furious that she’s hired a private investigator to follow Oksana. She wants as much dirt as possible to give her leverage if a court battle is necessary.”

The seven Gibson children are on their mom’s side, the source said.

“Oksana told Mel that his kids should be separate from their new life together,” claimed the friend. “Oksana wants her own life with Mel, their baby and her 12-year-old son. She’s pushing Mel to put all of his time and money into his new family.”

“But Mel’s kids love him, and they feel he is choosing Oksana and her family over them. At this point, they are against Oksana and think she is after their father’s money and quality time.”

I hate the reference to Oksana as “his new family”. Barf. I mean, obviously, he’s knocked her up and he’s going to try to make a go of it. But let’s not sanctimoniously refer to either an “old” or “new” family. Robyn and Mel have seven children together - and even though I think Mel is a total sleaze, I do think he’ll do right by his kids. He’ll probably do right by Robyn too - she must really have the dirt of him, and it probably scares the hell out of him. All Robyn has to do is sign a book deal or do one sit-down tell-all interview with Barbara Walters, and Mel’s ass and assets are hers.
