I’ve come to the conclusion that British celebrities are dumber in love than their American counterparts. This is a gross overgeneralization based on Jude Law and Sienna Miller’s foolish on-again off-again relationship, and Kate Moss’ inexplicable draw to drug-addled Jaguar-wrecking Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty. Just last week Pete had to resort to getting an implant in his stomach to help him kick his love of most every type of drug, and that’s good enough for lonely Kate, who was seen making out with him in public. Hopefully he took her money to get his nasty teeth fixed.

On Pete and Kate’s big night out Pete was seen puking in a women’s bathroom before wrecking the stage while performing with his band. Britian’s Sunday Mirror says that taking drugs with a drug implant in your stomach will do that to ‘ya:

It will take more than a little device or drug scandal to change Pete and Kate.

Kate Moss and Pete Doherty are back together, at least for now. I haven’t kept up with troubled Pete like I should, but he had a chemical implant put in his stomach to help him kick heroin and was said to have tried to go to rehab again for like the tenth time.

Whatever he’s done, it worked well enough to help him get back together with the love of his life, waif supermodel Kate:

Kate has plenty of substance abuse problems on her own. While she may have kicked the hard stuff, she still knows how to drink like a fish. She royally pissed off her friend, Jade Jagger, by getting wasted and running up a nearly $10,000 hotel bill in Amsterdam. She stuck her surprised hosts, The Rolilng Stones, with the tab. She offered to pay after leaving the country, but the damage was already done.

Guess Kate and Pete kind of deserve each other.

Kate wasn’t with Pete in these pictures taken at the wedding of Primal Scream star Bobbie Gillespie on 7/29. She seems to have brought a long-haired bearded guy as her date, or that might just be someone she’s hanging out with at the party.

Lindsay’s full of shit lately. Her boobs look like two basketballs stuffed under her skin, but she has attributed their strange shape and quick growth to natural causes. This latest quote is undoubtedly made up, because there’s no source listed and it’s worded like a typical Brit would phrase it, but it’s not beneath us to repeat it or attribute it to her. She said something like this before, but it’s impossible to google since all the keywords are kind of dirty:

It’s probably not true that she actually said that this time around unless someone changed the quote to sound British, but in an interview with The Mirror she did deny every trying cocaine, and credited her druggie dad for her abstinence:

Lohan also admits that she was too thin and wasn’t eating right, and said she turned her health around by exercising. She says she parties a lot but that “it’s nothing too decadent and probably not half as wild as what goes on at university fraternity parties.” It’s good that she’s no longer in denial about her body at least.

Kate Moss was videotaped doing lines backstage at a Babyshambles concert last September. She was promptly dumped from her modeling contracts with Chanel and Burberry and went to rehab. She got new modeling contracts with Nikon, Calvin Klein, and came back with a vengeance.

She fled England after the scandal broke and was said to be wanted for police questioning, which she avoided for a while. In January she finally spoke to the police, but took the good advice of her lawyers and did not admit to any wrongdoing.

She was expected to be cleared on all charges, and an official announcement was made today. Cops said they couldn’t tell whether Moss was doing amphetamines, cocaine, or ecstasy in the video and since those substances fall under different drug severity classes they can’t charge her with anything and she gets off on a technicality:

It’s not like Kate would be in too much trouble if she actually was prosecuted for using a controlled substance. It seems like Pete Doherty is in court every other week on drugs charges and he hasn’t faced great consequences other than being ordered to rehab.

Lindsay Lohan says that she can’t settle down with one guy, and tries to explain away her sluttiness by claiming she’s like a guy:

Lohan says she’s not with McFly’s drummer Harry Judd, and that they’re “just friends,” but Judd’s bandmates wrote a song teasing him about hooking up with Lindsay, called “Please Please Lindsay Please.”

Judd must be one of the “several men who live overseas” Lindsay’s publicist says she dating. We suspect one of the other guys is Londoner Jamie Burke, Kate Moss’ ex.

Lindsay may have a good excuse for not being able to stick with one guy - she’s jacked up on so much cocaine that she needs constant excitement.

Last weekend I took a cheap ass EasyJet flight with my family to Berlin. In case you’re not familiar with EasyJet, it’s the Southwest Airlines of Europe. You can sit wherever you want, but drinks and snacks are expensive and there are no TVs. The flight over was decent, but on the way back a British stewardess with an attitude named something like Jenine was wearing perfume so heavy it permeated the entire plane and gave my husband and me a headache. (I’m writing this on the off chance that my bitching will get back to the management at EasyJet without me going through the trouble of writing a complaint letter.)

Anyway Pete Doherty, the lead singer of BabyShambles and Kate Moss’ on and off boyfriend, was on an EasyJet flight and took an extra long time in the bathroom. EasyJet staff found a bloody syringe hidden in the trashcan afterwards, so of course they had to blame poor Pete.

Pete likes to create art while he’s taking a dump and it’s ridiculous that EasyJet staff would deny him the pleasure. It’s already hard enough for the guy to catch a break without getting questioned over every little bloody syringe! Those EasyJet flights are so uncomfortable and the staff is paranoid and unaccommodating.

Pete and his Babyshambles bandmembers are permanently banned from all EasyJet filghts now, and they should be grateful not to have to go through that again.

Kate Moss was so pissed off about Pete Doherty’s blood squirting stunt that she asked him to come over to her place. When he arrived she promptly kicked his ass!

At least Doherty didn’t fight back, but we doubt the junkie would have had the strength even if he wanted to. Moss shouldn’t have even bothered with Doherty, though. Why doesn’t she just ignore him? She’s supposed to be dating comic Russell Brand now anyway.

Meanwhile Doherty’s antics have lead his record label, Rough Trade, to drop his group Babyshambles. An source is quoted as saying: “Rough Trade were in the process of renegotiating a deal, but the talks broke down because it just proved to be so difficult to deal with Pete and the people he surrounds himself with.”

Maybe losing his record label will help Pete follow-through on kicking heroin as he’s been planning. It won’t be easy, but he needs it desperately.

Kate Moss has been spotted out with Russell Brand, a British comic and Big Brother presenter who is also a former drug addict. At least he’s sober now:

The rumors about Kate’s involvement with Brand are probably true, because she was spotted buying high-end lingerie at Agent Provacateur recently. She’s got someone in mind to see her new knickers and it’s probably not her on-again off-again boyfriend, Pete Doherty.

Everyone is making fun of Brand for these pictures of him mooning the camera, but that’s nothing compared to the stunts Pete Doherty pulls.

Doherty has vowed to get sober to keep her affections, and is headed to a clinic to take drastic measures:

Doherty most recently squirted a syringe full of blood at an MTV camera and is way overdue for an intervention. Hopefully Kate will stay away, and Pete will realize that he needs sobriety more than any woman.

Pete Doherty squirted a syringe full of blood onto a camera during an MTV News UK interview, causing one of his band members to apologize and declare how f**ked up it was:

That wasn’t just anyone’s blood - it was heroin addict blood which is extra foul. The cameramen were said to fear for their health after coming in contact with the blood.

This comes right after news of Doherty smoking crack before he performed dressed in drag in Germany last weekend. He was wearing what looked like a wedding ring at the time, causing people to speculate that it was from his on-again off-again girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss, whom he once bragged that he was going to marry.

There is a video of the blood-squirting incident, but MTV has ridiculously limited access to it to people who are in the UK or Ireland. I tried to use a UK proxy to view it, but it didn’t work.

Pete’s mom is writing a tell-all book about her son. There’s not much about Doherty that can shock people, but it is sure to be full of interesting tidbits.

In the interview above he talks about his brief imprisonment and drug use, but he mumbles a lot and is really messed up, so it’s hard to tell what he’s saying. He does say he’s going to “start a drug-free life.” Yeah, right. Towards the end of the interview he waves to the camera and mouths “Hello Kate” when asked about his relationship with Kate Moss, but he doesn’t admit much and calls the interviewer nosy.
