While Tiger Woods parties, Elin prepares to stay in Sweden
The Masters - Round One

Tiger Woods has been partying, and wherever and whenever Tiger parties, you know there’s trouble (and whores). Earlier this week, Tiger made his first big non-golf-related outing when he went to a Nickelback concert and “partied backstage surrounded by a security team” according to People Magazine. Which I think is probably a nice way of saying “banged some Nickelback groupies while his enablers watched”. He’s also been hanging with friends, and acting like a single guy. So, where’s Elin? Oh right. She took the kids and went to Sweden, Icelandic volcanic ash be damned. According to Radar, Elin “plans to spend her time there visiting friends and family and considering what she wants to do about her marriage.” Oh, and People has Elin doing extensive remodeling done to her Swedish estate, almost as if she’s planning on staying for a while. Considering Elin and Tiger have apparently (according to Radar) only spent three nights in the same city in a month, many are wondering aloud if we’re witnessing a formal separation. A “source” tells Us Weekly that Elin and Tiger’s divorce is “100% happening”. Here’s more:

Sweden is lovely this time of year — too bad Tiger Woods isn’t there with his Swedish wife Elin and their daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 14 months.

While the golfer (he placed fourth in the Masters earlier this month) stays behind in the U.S., “Elin and the kids are out there visiting with [Elin's] family in Stockholm,” a family source explains to UsMagazine.com.

Meanwhile, the insider says that “nonstop construction” continues on the $3 million home in Vaxholm which Elin purchased in December. “She is definitely planning on spending a lot of time there — they are gutting it,” the source says of the private-island estate on Sweden’s west coast.

The mom and former model, 30, is “working hard” to speed up renovations. “She and the kids are going to be spending most of the summer there,” the source says. “Without Tiger.”

Also on Elin’s to-do list: divorce Woods, 34, who publicly acknowledged and apologized for his infidelity in February after being linked to over a dozen women.

“It’s 100% happening,” the insider says of the split. “Elin and her mom met with a lawyer before they went to Sweden.”

But don’t expect those proceedings to go quickly, cautions the source. “It’s going to take a long time to go through. [But] she will go through with it. She is all about being a mom. She will do it slowly and carefully.”

As for Tiger, TMZ reports that the golfer caught a Nickelback concert in Orlando, Fla. on Monday night, and “partied backstage” with the rock band. He is scheduled to compete in the Quail Hollow Championship near Charlotte, NC next week.

[From Us Weekly]

CB has been a lot kinder to Elin throughout this whole situation, and while I totally respect CB’s opinion, and I do feel so much sympathy for Elin, I also wanted Elin to get to this point a lot sooner. I recognize that it’s different when you have children with a man, and I get that Elin probably really loved Tiger, and it took her some time to understand that her marriage wasn’t at all what she once thought it was. But when the porn stars and hookers and Denny’s waitresses are coming out of the woodwork, you’re allowed to get mad and make a spectacle and throw his ass to the curb publicly. Maybe she’s reaming Tiger privately, and I’m totally off-base. Eh.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s new team of handlers/enablers is really mad at the turn of events, what with Tiger bangin’ groupies and Elin descending into a volcanic ash cloud rather than spend time with the father of her children. PopEater had the scoop:

Sources close to Tiger Woods tell me that they are “mad as hell” that the troubled golfer thought it would be a good idea to attend a Nickelback concert and party backstage while his wife Elin and the couple’s two young children took off for Sweden.

“Everyone around team Tiger has been working 24/7 to regain control of his image. Everything from carefully releasing pictures of him jogging to staging a press conference for his return to playing golf. No detail was too small to be overlooked,” an insider tells me. “Then after all that work and planning, Tiger decides that he must attend a concert by his favorite band and dance backstage while his wife is away. It’s a disaster. Everyone is at the point of giving up trying to help him.”

I’m not sure how many more chances Tiger is going to get. We already know the man doesn’t have the best judgment, but Nickelback? This just makes me think even less of the troubled golfer. I would understand if it were Bon Jovi … but Nickelback? Really?

[From PopEater]

Tiger is a f-cking idiot. He literally has no idea how to handle his fame when everyone is not kissing his ass. He might be a world-class golfer, but we know now that he’s severely lacking in the intelligence department. And the “not screwing the skankiest pieces out there” department. Hopefully, Elin and the kids will enjoy Sweden so much they’ll decide to stay there.

Tiger Woods’ wife Elin flies to Sweden with the kids

Sony Ericsson Open
There’s all sorts of news about the state of Tiger Woods’ relationship with his wife, Elin. Radar Online has been running insider stories about the couple nonstop with new details, and it reminds me of this article in the Sunday NY Times magazine this week about how Radar serializes stories into the breaking news gossip that we love to hear. In Tiger and Elin’s case there’s been plenty of news and most of it points to the demise of their relationship. Despite some stories months ago that Elin was open to reconciliation, things seem to have taken a turn for the worst. Last week, Radar reported that Elin and Tiger were feuding over their children. Elin apparently wanted to take them out of the country to spend more time her native Sweden while Tiger wanted them to stay in the US where he could see them. The two have been working out an arrangement where they take separate vacations with the children, and are not talking to each other, according to Radar.

Elin was photographed out without makeup in Orlando on Sunday, having just returned on Friday from a trip to Arizona. She hasn’t worn her wedding ring since the scandal.

Two days home in a rented house a mile away from her husband was enough for Elin as she left Orlando with their two children, Sam, nearly two, and Charlie, 14 months. Radar reports that she went home to Sweden but it was only for a vacation, not for an extended stay. It looks like she got her way.

Woods’ wife Elin flew home to Sweden with their two children on Monday, RadarOnline.com reports exclusively.

Elin flew to Sweden with one stop after leaving Orlando on Monday, as exclusively revealed by RadarOnline.com. Elin arrived in Stockholm around 4:30am local time. As RadarOnline.com previously mentioned, Elin flew via private jet.

Though European airports had been closed thanks to the ash cloud from a recent Icelandic volcano, flights recently had been allowed back into Sweden. One news report confirmed that airspace over northern and central Sweden is now open and Stockholm’s Arlanda airport is open to flights to and from the United States.

The new separation comes as the couple continues to live apart and spends virtually no time together. Elin has taken four trips without Tiger in the past several weeks, including four nights in Arizona that overlapped with Tiger’s appearance in the Masters.

RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Elin is not planning a short stay but is also not in Sweden for an extending [sic] trip.

[From Radar Online]

According to reports, Elin stands to get an additional $55 million on top of her original prenup ($20 million for 10 years of marriage – they’ve been married five and a half) if she sticks around for another two years. I don’t see that happening given how often she’s jetting out of town. I would be surprised if she comes back in the next couple of weeks.

Elin Woods meets with a divorce attorney

California v Stanford
Tiger Woods’ wife Elin is indeed lawyering up to prepare for a divorce from her philandering husband. Yesterday we heard that Elin was incredibly upset, understandably so, at the Nike ad that featured Tiger getting a lecture from his deceased dad. The scandal that humiliated her and tore apart her family was being turned into a commodity exploited for a commercial. At that time it was thought that Elin would inevitably leave Tiger, but she was not known to have visited a lawyer recently. According to Radar Online she met with a new attorney before her weekend solo trip and is getting her ducks in a row to file for divorce. Tiger and Elin have a prenup, and there were stories that Elin was given a $5 million bonus last December for staying with Tiger, and that she was promised $55 million if she stuck around for two more years. Her original prenup was reportedly $20 million for 10 years of marriage. Also Elin didn’t leave Tiger to go see her sick mom, as People reported. Elin’s mom is in Sweden and isn’t receiving treatment in the US at all, according to local reports:

Tiger Woods wife met with a divorce lawyer shortly before flying to Scottsdale, Arizona, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

What’s more, Elin Nordegren did not fly to be with her mother. A published report said Elin flew to be with her mother Barbro Holmber, who was said to be getting medical treatment in the U.S.
But a government official in Sweden denied that report. Susanne Akerlind, described as Secretary ex-minister, was quoted by Expressen newspaper the other day saying about Elin’s mother: “I have been in contact with her today in the Castle of Gävle.” She went on to say that Barbro was not ill and had not been in the U.S. as far as she knew.

It all backs up what RadarOnline.com originally reported, that Elin decided to take a separate vacation from Tiger.

Now, RadarOnline.com has learned that shortly before leaving for Scottsdale, Arizona, she visited with a divorce lawyer in the home she is renting in Orlando.

A source close to the situation said the lawyer spent several hours at the home.

”She’s switched lawyers,” the source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. ”Her new lawyer is from out of town.”

[From Radar Online]

In a follow-up report, Radar claims that Elin will return home from Scottsdale, AZ, where she’s been since Sunday, but that she plans to leave again within a few days. They note that Elin has been away a lot lately, and that “this will be the fourth trip Elin has taken recently without Tiger.” As for whether Elin will file for divorce, they quote a source who says “Divorce is something she’s talking about… No one is sure if she knows if she’s going to go through with it.” If Elin is really getting $55 million for two years, maybe she plans to keep traveling to see if she can make it through. No matter how much money she has at her disposal, that’s got to get old after a while.

Elin Woods ‘violently angry’ at Nike ad, otherwise emotionally detatched

Sony Ericsson Open
After all that Tiger did to Elin, and all that’s come out about his affairs, can you blame her for being upset at the stupid ass Nike commercial featuring Tiger looking all cowed as his deceased dad gives him a lecture? It’s like all of Tiger’s massive, disgusting indiscretions can be chalked up to some kid acting out and getting scolded by a parent. What’s more is that they’re using the scandal to sell products.

People Magazine, which has had insider information in the Tiger scandal in the past, claims that Elin Woods was “violently angry” when she saw that commercial. That prompted her to take off alone out of Florida “for a destination unknown.” People previously claimed that Elin left to go visit her sick mom in a US hospital. Did that happen or was the truth that she just need to get the hell out after all she’s dealt with? What’s more is that Elin is understandably completely over Tiger, she’s said to have gone numb and to be “moving on.” She hasn’t quite filed for divorce yet, though, or of course we’d be hearing about it:

His wife Elin Nordegren skipped the golf star’s big comeback at the Masters and was described as disgusted and outraged by his Nike commercial featuring a voiceover by his late father. After Woods finished the tournament, coming in fourth, Nordegren flew out of Florida without her husband and their two children – they were left with nannies – for a destination unknown, friends say.

“Elin was violently angry over this commercial and thought it was a cheesy thing to do,” one friend tells PEOPLE. “She wouldn’t have gone near the Masters under any condition, but that just made her madder. She is over Tiger. I wouldn’t be surprised if she files for divorce sometime soon.”

So far, though, it’s only been talk among friends. No legal papers have been filed, and it hasn’t even been confirmed that she’s retained a divorce attorney.

Still, another friend says Nordegren has run out of patience with Woods, taking offense with his return to golf – she had been led to believe he was going to take more time off. (On Wednesday morning it was reported that Woods has sent his entry to the U.S. Open, to be held June 17-20 at Pebble Beach, Calif.)

At home in Florida while Woods competed in Georgia, Nordegren didn’t watch a broadcast of the tournament, using the TV instead for movies and videos for the children.

“She’s so far beyond hurt now. If she were angry or if she hated him, they might still have a chance to work it out. But she’s beyond that. She’s numb. She just doesn’t care anymore. She’s like, ‘Whatever.’ Elin’s not the type to get all weepy or have pity parties for herself. She mourned the loss of this marriage, and now she’s moving on. It’s the only thing she can do.”

[From People]

What can you do with a guy like Tiger? There’s so much irrefutable evidence that he banged women basically every chance he had, that he didn’t use condoms, and that he only showed remorse when he was completely busted. It’s not like you can trust someone like that ever again. You can suck it up and live with it, trying to work it out if you’re willing to, or get out. Either way, it’s a really difficult decision and one that comes with drawbacks on both sides.

TMZ reports that the home that Elin purchased on a private island in Sweden is currently undergoing renovations, which may be evidence that she’s ready to get the hell out. Pack your stuff, Elin!

Tiger loses the Masters; Elin Woods heads out alone to visit her sick mother

The Masters - Final Round
The Masters were the highest rated in nine years this week, thanks to Tiger Woods’ much anticipated comeback. Woods wasn’t the victor this time and placed in fourth. Phil Mickelson took home his third Masters title. It wasn’t an atypical performance from Cheetah, as much as I’d like to see him firmly planted on his face. He placed fifth last year, but has won the Masters four times: in 1997, 2001, 2002, and 2005.

The good news is that Mickelson, 39, has a much more compelling personal story. His wife Amy has been battling breast cancer since last year and his mother was diagnosed with cancer just a few weeks later. Mickelson has been alternating between spending time with his wife, their three children and his mother and playing golf. He said that the win was very special for him and his family and was “something I’ll always cherish.” His wife Amy was there at the tournament to watch her husband. She gave him a hug on the 18th hole, and Mickelson dedicated the trophy to her.

An emotional Phil Mickelson dedicated his third Masters win to his wife, who has been battling breast cancer.

“It feels incredible. I could go on and on about why but to win this tournament is a special, special day,” said Mickelson, who won by three shots.

“It’s something I’ll always cherish. It’s been an emotional year. I’m very proud of my wife and the fight and struggle she’s been through.

“This win has been one of the best things we’ve been through.”

Mickelson’s closing 67 gave him a 16-under-par aggregate of 272 and it was the first of his four majors – he also won the 2005 USPGA – where he has come from behind on the last day to win.

The deficit to Lee Westwood with 18 holes to play was only one but Mickelson produced a bogey-free round with five birdies to usurp the Englishman at the top of the leaderboard and seal the title.

The left-hander became overcome with emotion and shared a long embrace with wife Amy just off the 18th green.

“I was just really glad she was there – I wasn’t sure she was going to be – and it’s something that I’ll look back on and just cherish,” he revealed.

“To have Amy and my kids here to share it with, I can’t put into words. It just feels incredible, especially given what we’ve been through in the last year.”

[From BBC]

It feels nice to celebrate a golfer and all around decent person. Mickelson is a real contrast to Tiger and his self-inflicted problems. According to Forbes, Mickelson was the second top earning golfer in 2008. He made $38 million in endorsements in 2008 in comparison to Tiger’s $110 million. Maybe those numbers will be a little closer in 2010.

Meanwhile Tiger’s wife Elin hasn’t filed for divorce yet but she’s not exactly sticking around cheering for him on the sidelines. Radar Online reports that Elin flew on a private jet out of Orlando by herself over the weekend. It’s possible she went to see Tiger, but Radar also claims that she’s determined to go on a vacation by herself. She’s definitely earned it.

Update: According to People, Elin was headed out alone to visit her mother in the hospital, who has been receiving treatment in the US for an undisclosed illness.

Jim Carrey: Elin Woods was “willing participant” in Tiger’s affairs
'I love you Phillip Morris' Premiere - Paris

One of the strangest things happened with Jim Carrey over the past few days. He was sitting around, tweeting away, and he decided to put his two cents in about Tiger and Elin Woods. I think maybe Jim was watching the Masters golf tournament? Maybe? Whatever, so Jim took to Twitter to discuss his feelings on Tiger and his whores and his marriage, and Jim set off a firestorm. At first, Jim basically just said that we should leave Tiger alone and let him play golf, writing: “Tiger Woods owes nothing 2 anyone but himself. 2 please his father he gave up his childhood and his freedom in the world. That’s enough!” The next tweet, however, caused more consternation: “No wife is blind enough to miss that much infidelity. Elin had 2 b a willing participant on the ride 4 whatever reason. kids/lifestyle ;^)” Now, Jim hasn’t pulled down those tweets, but he did write later that “I do not condone infidelity” and “infidelity has never been an issue 4 me”. Which isn’t how I remember his past relationships, but whatever. Then Jim said that his “people” told him to take it down a notch. Here’s some of the exchange:

[Screencaps of Jim Carrey’s tweets - to read chronologically, read bottom to top]

Ugh. Don’t murder me in my sleep, but I see where Jim is coming from. I’m not saying I agree with his assessment of Elin being a “willing participant” but I can totally understand how Jim was just sitting around and he decided to throw out a theory on Elin and Tiger’s marriage via Twitter. It’s just how he was thinking at the time, and it’s not like he wrote “Every married man should go out and screw as many ladies as he wants, all the time.” The sheer quantity of Tiger’s whores has made me idly wonder if Elin had an inkling too – but then I think about the dozens of enablers Tiger has around him, servicing his every whim and covering his tracks, and it makes sense of Elin could not have known.

Now, notice how Jim doesn’t really want to pontificate on Sandra Bullock’s marriage though. Interesting…

Is Elin Woods staying with Tiger because she’s pregnant?

fp_4506377_barm_nordgren_elin_020910

Just a few hours ago, I was telling CB how tired I was of the Tiger Woods drama, and now I’m being sucked in again. Apparently, The National Enquirer (story via Hollyscoop) is reporting that Elin Woods is pregnant! Reasons this is probably not true: The Enquirer didn’t make this their cover story (which they would have if they had solid sourcing, I think). Another reason: because hopefully Elin hasn’t touched Tiger’s dick in months. Reasons it could be true, according to the Enquirer: she’s moody and she’s eating a lot and she’s got a bump, apparently. If I was married to Tiger, I would be moody and eating a lot too (and thus, have a “food baby” bump). Here’s more:

This one’s a little hard to swallow. According to reports, Tiger Woods’ wifey Elin Nordegren is pregnant. Yes, pregnant!

The National Enquirer is reporting Elin is approximately four months along and is really starting to have a hard time hiding her growing belly. And before you knock the National Enquirer down, remember they were the ones who first reported on Tiger’s cheating scandal.

“Elin’s staying quiet about it, but she’s showing every sign of being pregnant,” a source told the National Enquirer.

“Her tummy’s a dead giveaway and so is her behavior. Her moods are all over the place and she’s been eating constantly, which is not like Elin since she’s always so concerned about her figure.

The source added, “She’s also dropping other little hints, like rubbing her tummy constantly, and cutting back on her exercise routine. Her appetite changes, too. She gets nauseous a lot of the time and sometimes doesn’t eat a thing. If she’s pregnant, this could be the real reason she hasn’t sent Tiger packing for good.”

It’s a little hard to believe Elin is pregnant, but if she is, it makes sense as to why she didn’t leave Tiger after 15 mistresses came forward. What do you guys think? Could she be preggers?

[From Hollyscoop]

Yeah, I really don’t believe this, but I guess anything is possible so I’m just putting it out there. It could happen, I suppose. I tend to think it’s just the way some people rationalize Elin staying with Tiger – if she’s pregnant, we can all say “oh, she’s pregnant, that’s why she’s giving him a second chance.” Eh. It reminds me of Denise Richards, actually. Remember how she left Charlie Sheen when she was like seven months pregnant? That was so hardcore. And it made people think – “Dude, she’s seven months pregnant and she still walked out. Charlie must be a real piece of work.” Which is exactly what we’ll say if and when Elin dumps Tiger’s dumb ass.

P.S. Elin and Tiger’s son is a little doll! Look at that adorable little face!

Elin Woods ‘wears a chastity belt made of spikes’

Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard - Round Two
People Magazine has a speculative article about whether Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin, will support her oh-so-sowrry husband by making an appearance at the Masters this week, where he’s making his return to golf. The interesting part of this story is not whether or not she will attend (which is doubtful) but the colorful language they use to describe the fact that she refuses to sleep with her husband, who betrayed her with over a dozen women, many of them paid professionals and at least two of them porn stars. Several of the mistresses state that Tiger didn’t use condoms. People writes that Elin “wears a chastity belt made of spikes,” as if she should welcome her husband back into her bed with open arms. I do buy that Tiger is genuinely remorseful and trying to change (and truth expert Eyes for Lies agrees) but that isn’t enough to atone for the awful things he did. That’s also not enough to convince Elin that it’s worth sleeping with him and risk getting infected with all sorts of skank diseases.

“Elin is going through the motions of family life only to keep the children well grounded,” the source says. “She suffered through the pain of her parents divorcing and doesn’t want to do that to her kids. But she is not happy in the marriage. The trust is gone.”

By day, she may seem to be playing the role of wife. She was even spotted this weekend spending two nights on Woods’s yacht Privacy with only a nanny and son Charlie and daughter Sam. Not surprising, the source says, since “she wears a chastity belt made of spikes. They are not living together as a couple. They are putting on a charade for the children.”

The source does not believe Nordegren will attend next month’s Masters, where Woods will make his comeback after four months off following his sex scandal. “Elin wants to stay away from Augusta and not get involved in the frenzy of the Masters. By not going, she sends a signal that she is staying with Tiger only because of the children. They come first.”

The source says Nordegren did contact top California divorce lawyer Sorrell Trope but did not hire him, and is now dealing with lawyers closer to home in Florida. “[Woods's] behavior in the coming weeks will tell us quite a bit,” the source says. “If he falls even slightly one more time, she could still file for divorce despite her interest in holding the family together.”

[From People]

I’m wondering if Elin or Tiger’s camp leaked this story. It sounds like it comes from Elin, but then the “chastity belt made of spikes” bit is over-the-top and paints her in a negative light. It’s just as likely that Tiger’s people are preparing us for a divorce they consider inevitable while trying to kind of publicly chastise Elin for refusing to show up at the Masters. That woman deserves a medal for silently dealing with everything she put up with. You know that every news outlet is clamoring to get her side of the story and I’m hoping we get to see an interview with her in the next few months.

Tiger Woods: ‘I was living a lie,’ ‘didn’t know it was that bad’

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Tiger Woods has done two interviews, his first since the scandal, in which he attempts to mend his battered image after what was the biggest sex scandal of 2009. The interviews, with The Golf Channel and ESPN, were likely planned out ahead of time to precede his return to golf in The Masters, which start today. They also serve to distract from some pretty raunchy sex texts from Tiger that were just released from one of his porn star mistresses, Joslyn James. (As many of you have pointed out, it’s not that Tiger was being freaky – what happens between two consenting adults is their own business – it’s that he did these things with multiple other women who were not his wife while presenting a wholesome image for sponsorship purposes.)

Many of you will roll your eyes at me, but I think Tiger has gone through a lot of soul searching and therapy, and that he’s taken some of it to heart. He seemed believable to me while he described how he was living a lie and in denial about it. The guy looked genuinely sad and remorseful, and I doubt he’s that good of an actor. I don’t know if it’s enough to save his marriage, but ultimately that’s between him and Elin. (Although of course we’d like to hear the details.) The guy did some unforgivable things, and saying he’s sorry and was in denial doesn’t explain months if not years of banging every random woman he could line up to meet him on tour.

In contrast to his televised apology, I didn’t get a lot of anger from him, just sadness. (He did shake his head “no” while saying he hurt people, but I’ll wait for Eyes For Lies’ assessment to see if she thinks he’s being arrogant about it. She did find his initial apology sincere.)

Here are some of the highlights, thanks to People, which has more. Radar Online has also put together a transcript of Tiger’s Golf Channel interview. You can watch the Golf Channel interview on their website, although it wasn’t loading for me when I tried. (I’m on a slower connection.)

Tiger Woods granted his first interview since his November car crash – and subsequent sex scandal – admitting that he has “done some pretty bad things” in [his] life and that he was “a little nervous” about his upcoming return to professional golf in April.

“I was living a life of a lie, I really was,” a sober-sounding Woods told ESPN at Isleworth, a golf club near his Windermere, Fla., home. The five-minute interview aired Sunday night during SportsCenter. He also gave five minutes to the Golf Channel.

“Stripping away denial and rationalization you start coming to the truth of who you really are and that can be very ugly,” he said.

Part of the recovery process was acknowledging his indiscretions both to his family and to the public. On Feb. 19, Woods appeared at press conference during which he apologized for his behavior during a 13-minute speech. “My real apology will not come in the form of words, but my behavior over time,” he said at the time.

During Sunday’s interview, the golfer said making that public statement has ultimately given him strength. “When you face it and you start conquering it and you start living up to it, the strength that I feel now, I’ve never felt that type of strength,” Woods said.

The Low Points
Apologizing to his wife Elin and mother Kultida about his multiple affairs was one of the “low points” for Woods.

“I hurt them the most,” he said Sunday. “Those are the two people in my life who I’m closest to – and to say the things that I’ve done truthfully to them was very painful.”

As for Elin’s reaction, Woods said, “She was hurt. Very hurt. Shocked and angry – and she had every right to be.”

Woods also confirmed that he sought treatment at a clinic from Dec. 31 through Feb. 11, and that he underwent family counseling for a week in following his public statement in February. He did not, however, specify the type of treatment he was receiving.

“It was really tough to look at yourself in a light you never want to look at yourself,” Woods said. “That’s pretty brutal.”

[From People]

Interestingly, Tiger wouldn’t disclose the details of his accident on the day after Thanksgiving, just saying “it’s all in the police report. Beyond that, everything’s between Elin and myself and that’s private.” When pressed as to why he lost control of the car, he again said “that’s between Elin and myself.” He also described how he had hurt Elin, and how much he loved her despite everything he did. On why he married Elin he explained “Because I loved her. I loved Elin with everything I have. And that’s something that makes me feel even worse, that I did this to someone I loved that much.”

Love and a lot of therapy and regret may not be enough to save Tiger’s marriage. Things have taken a turn for the worse, according to Radar Online. I’ve heard that relationships can be a rollercoaster after one of the parties commits infidelity, and from the stories we’ve been hearing about these two that’s probably the case. Elin is said to be annoyed that Tiger is returning to golf so soon, and she headed to Tiger’s yacht in Palm Beach with the kids over the weekend. Did she get wind of the sex texts that James just released?

One of Tiger Woods’ porn star mistresses reveals his nasty sex texts

joslynjames
Joslyn James, one of the porn stars that Tiger Woods bedded (no not that one, the the now-redheaded one who did a press conference with Gloria Allred) has gone public with the text messages that Tiger sent her. She set up a website, SextingJoslynJames.com, which messages allegedly from Tiger. The website wasn’t loading the many times I tried to check it, but TMZ has the details and they’re damning. (As if any additional details in the Tiger Woods scandal could be damning at this point. Unless a video and/or photos come out, this is pretty much par for the course now.) We only have the messages Tiger sent Joslyn and don’t know what she sent him first, but if she was baiting him it worked. Tiger was nasty and talked about golden showers, choking, and threeways. We’ve already seen Tiger’s messages to Jamie Jungers, and those were sexual but not that bad, probably because Jamie wasn’t so into sexting. Joslyn probably was, though:

Joslyn James pulled the trigger on her website, splashing more than 100 text messages Tiger Woods allegedly sent her — and the messages hit topics that include slapping, choking, three-ways and golden showers.

The site, sextingjoslynjames.com, includes texts that say:

- OK, I would like to have a threesome with you and another girl you trust.
- I want to treat you rough, throw you around, spank and slap you
- Have you ever had a golden shower done to you? … just morbid curiosity.
- You are my f**king whore. Hold you down while I choke you

It’s interesting … Joslyn has omitted the messages she sent to Tiger, so we don’t know what she said that may have egged him on.

And then there’s this, on September 8, 2009: “Having a few issues at home. Might be a little later before I see you tonight.” That text is followed by “parent hood melt down :)

And the last message is dated October 4, 2009. It says, “Don’t f**king talk to me. You almost just ruined my whole life. If my agent and these guys would have seen you there, F**k.”

For the record, Tiger references golfing in three different tournaments in the texts: The Buick Open, Bridgestone Invitational, and BMW Championship — he won all three.

I kind of like how Joslyn waited to release these until she could stand out in a sea of mistresses with similar evidence. She should have waited until the Masters in two weeks, though, and done it early that morning on the start day in order to steal Tiger’s comeback thunder. I hope that someone tells Elin about this and has her read the messages. If she’s wavering as to whether she’ll buy Tiger’s excuses this might help her make a firm decision.
