Report: Tiger & Elin Woods seriously considering divorce
California v Stanford

There was a ton of smaller pieces of gossip regarding Tiger Woods and his scandals this weekend, so let’s jump right in. First up: sources in Britain are claiming that Elin has decided to leave Tiger after Christmas, and that both Tiger and Elin are probably both talking to lawyers:

Tiger Woods’ wife has decided to dump him after Christmas and is already talking with a divorce lawyer, says a sensational new report.

Elin Nordegren wants the holiday to appear normal for the couple’s two children but will separate from Tiger quickly in the new year.

Britain’s News of the World cites anonymous sources for its report that claims Elin will move back to Sweden quickly after the holidays. The article also contends that Elin is no longer in a rush to file divorce papers and that money is not her prime concern.

The revelation of Tigers’ multiple affairs caught her completely off guard and it’s a “raw” situation, a pal tells the paper. According to the report, she had no idea Tiger was cheating and the stress of the situation has caused her to lose weight as she deals with the emotional stress.

The article also claims that Tiger is still in touch with his most recent mistress Rachel Uchitel and that privately she believes she is his main woman. It also appears that Tiger is in some type of therapy, based on the report claiming that Elin angrily told Tiger to talk to his therapist.

[From Radar]

Of course, this report contradicts the many reports out there that Tiger Woods is taking a hiatus to work on his marriage, and that neither Elin nor Tiger are ready to throw in the towel yet. Tiger‘s agent Mark Steinberg told the AP (via Radar) that “The entirety of someone’s life is more important than just a professional career. What matters most is a young family that is trying to cope with difficult life issues in a secluded and caring way. Whenever Tiger may return to the game should be on the family’s terms alone.”

It’s interesting that Tiger’s agent gave an interview, as if he is speaking on Tiger’s behalf. Radar also reports that Tiger’s management team is in disarray, and there is a lot of infighting over exactly what to do to solve Tiger’s multiple business and publicity problems. Some members of his team wanted to bring in professional crisis managers – but they could never agree. A source said: “They’ve been completely ineffective in handling this scandal from a pr standpoint. It’s just gotten worse and worse.” Some sports professionals are even begging Tiger to fire everyone on his team. Personally, I think that would be a bad idea. Yes, Tiger’s flailing, and yes, his team sucked for the past few weeks. But starting all over with a new team isn’t the answer. Add to that the simple fact that Tiger was the one with the zipper problem, it would seem like Tiger blames his team for enabling his affairs. Which they probably did, but he’s got free will, for goodness sake.

Next up: on Sunday, the Florida Department of Children and Families went to Tiger’s Florida estate for unknown reasons.

The Florida Department of Children and Families, escorted by deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, visited Tiger Woods’ home near Windermere on Saturday, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to RadarOnline.com: “Our deputies met with members of the Department of Children and Families. But all details are being kept secret.”

Nieves would neither confirm nor deny that the deputies and DCF officials went to Woods’ house. But a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that the visit was in fact to Woods’ home and that it occurred around mid day.

The source also tells RadarOnline.com that the deputy’s car was a marked car, while the Florida Department of Children and Families’ car was unmarked.

It’s a shocking twist in a scandal that seemingly has no boundaries. The visit stems from the events leading up to Tiger’s bizarre one-car crash right after Thanksgiving. Reports from that incident indicated there was a heated altercation between Tiger and wife Elin over his cheating. Now, the presence of DCF at Tiger’s house adds credence to those reports as it is protocol for DCF to investigate after an in-home suspected domestic violence incident.

Typically investigators from DCF would want to evaluate the safety of a home for children after a domestic violence incident. Officials were at the home for roughly an hour, sources told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Woods two young children were at home during Thanksgiving when the golfer and Elin allegedly got into a heated argument. Elin and Tiger are parents to two-year-old daughter Sam and 10-month-old son Charlie.

Florida Highway Patrol initially investigated Woods’ car crash and the golfer refused to talk to them when they tried to schedule follow-up interviews. But refusing to talk to DCF when it is conducting an official investigation can lead to severe repercussions by state law.

It is not known if Tiger was home when the investigators were there. It would not be unusual for it to take this long for DCF investigators to make a home visit stemming from an incident that took place at Thanksgiving, an expert familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com.

[From Radar]

Eh, I’m going to go with the theory that this was part of some routine investigation regarding Tiger’s Thanksgiving accident until I hear something different. Those poor kids. Charlie is only 10 months old, for goodness sake. Hopefully, everybody’s fine.

What else? Let’s see… Playgirl has decided not to publish the nude Tiger photos they got last week. Playgirl’s director of marketing, Daniel Nardicio, told People: “Playgirl has decided to turn down the alleged Tiger Woods nude photos, reportedly taken by camera phone by Woods himself. They were impossible to one 100 percent verify, hence the unwillingness to go there.” Nardicio said that since it was clear Tiger did not want them published, Playgirl was loathe to do it: “This is a prime example of the direction Playgirl does not want to take. I prefer subjects who are willing.”

To end on a low note, apparently one of Tiger’s mistresses, Jamie Jungers, is now claiming that she and Tiger were getting it on while Tiger’s dad was dying in a hospice. These women are making me sick, but if you’d like to know more, Us Weekly has Jungers’ quotes.

Tiger’s hooker mistress Jaime Jungers: ‘he broke my heart’ (update: video)

Update: Video Jamie Junger’s Today Show interview is above. This is from YouTube because MSNBC isn’t putting the full video online for some reason. Maybe they want people to wait until Junger’s interview on the Dateline special tonight. She really sounds like an idiot.

I hope that Elin Woods is watching some of the interviews with the interchangeable ‘hos her husband was banging. If so, she might not be so willing to take the money and stick it out for the sake of his image or the kids or whatever. (We have no way of knowing her plans, but People claims she’s going to stay, and go on some kind of extended vacation with Tiger.)

In a new interviews on Today and Dateline lingerie model and alleged escort Jamie Jungers claims that she dated Tiger for a year and a half right after he married Elin. She said he never paid her and that it was a “boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.” That’s funny, because convicted madam Michelle Braun just produced 1099 forms that show Jungers was working for her. So Tiger got freebies while Jungers charged her other clients? Jungers said she asked Tiger to give her money and when he refused she broke up with him:

jungers1

In an exclusive interview Friday, admitted Tiger Woods mistress Jamie Jungers, 26, denied rumors that she had received any money from the famous golfer, whose once squeaky-clean image has been tarnished by a succession of women stepping forward to say they have had affairs with him.

“I didn’t even get a birthday card,” the woman who met Woods as a Las Vegas cocktail waitress told Meredith Vieira live on TODAY. “I got nothing out of this relationship but a broken heart.”

Jungers, who has worked as a lingerie model as well as a waitress, revealed details about her relationship with Woods both on TODAY and as part of a special report, “The Secret Life of Tiger Woods,” airing at 9 p.m. ET Friday on NBC’s “Dateline.”

She told Vieira that she and the 33-year-old golfing legend had what she called “a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship” during their year-and-a-half love affair, despite the fact Tiger had just married wife Elin Nordegren when Jungers and Woods first spent a night together in early 2005.

For her part, Jungers says she’s held her tongue for more than three years, telling Vieira, “It was just something between him and I, and I didn’t think everybody needed to know.” But, she said, she came on on TODAY to “clear the air.” Alluding to reports and rumors that she had been paid for sex, she said: “I just wanted to come on national TV to say that they are not true.”

Woods would rendezvous with Jungers when he was in Las Vegas, and even flew her to Los Angeles to be with him while his wife was out of town, Jungers said.

Vieira expressed amazement that Woods seemingly did little to keep the relationship under wraps while possessing one of the most famous faces in the world.

“To be honest with you, I’m not really sure [why],” she told Vieira. “We went places together; people were taking our photographs in the nightclubs. When I went to see him at the MGM, I would have to check in under my name and say that I was there to see him, and Tiger would come down and get me.”

Jungers said over time, she began to truly fall for Tiger. “Every time we saw each other, it’s like we became more and more comfortable with each other, it just became more of an actual relationship, a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.”

Vieira asked Jungers if she ever felt pangs of guilt about seeing a married man.

“It was a thought in my mind, of course,” Jungers responded. “I mean, I’m not raised to do something like I did, and I’m not saying it’s OK … [but] I had a crush on Tiger for many years. I was very excited and honored that he was interested in me.”

Jungers said she was financially struggling during the relationship, and continued living with an ex-fiancee after they had broken up because she was “not financially stable enough to move out and be on my own.” She told Vieira she had a heart-to-heart talk with her mother, who told her, “If he is really interested in you, then he will show it.”

“The one time out of the whole year and a half I was with Tiger, I asked him, ‘Can you please help me out?’ ” Jungers told Vieira. “I didn’t give him a dollar amount, I didn’t say, ‘Can you buy me a house?’ I wasn’t specific about what I needed, but I did say, ‘Can you help me out?’

“He said, ‘I can’t,’ ” Jungers continued. “I said, ‘I don’t understand.’ I thought maybe he was joking. I was already embarrassed to ask about it. He said, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t.’ And that’s when I told him, ‘That shows to me how much I mean to you, and I can’t do this anymore. I’m already in a rough position in my life, and I have more drama and that’s what I don’t need.’ ”

[From MSNBC]

This interview will air tonight on Dateline, but really how much more do we need to know? As for the story that Jungers worked for Michelle Braun as a high paid escort, she claims “I never even heard of the women’s name… This is all news to me.” Dateline’s special “The Secret Life of Tiger Woods” airs tonight at 9PM. There’s still a lot of interest in this massive scandal, although it seems to have slunk to some pretty low depths. It’s like there’s not much more we could find out that would be shocking.

Note – as of the time I’m publishing this the Today Show interview is not yet online. Please comment or e-mail me when it’s up and I’ll update this post, thanks!

Mistress Rachel Uchitel is now a full-fledged celebrity

rachel_uchitel_08_wenn5404794

It was just a few weeks ago that I only vaguely knew Rachel Uchitel’s name because of some sketchy report from Star Magazine claiming that she was banging David Boreanaz when his wife was pregnant. Then all hell broke loose as Uchitel became the first woman reported to be having an affair with Tiger Woods… and now look at her. She’s a full-fledged celebrity, she’s making millions of dollars from either Tiger Woods or the media, and she’s getting swarmed by paparazzi wherever she goes. It’s like she’s the new Britney Spears. And is it just me, or has this girl jacked up her face since becoming suddenly famous? That boob job is horrendous, too. They look like bowling balls.

Anyway, Uchitel now commands her own gossip beat. As such, we have some new (and slightly older) stories about Uchitel and her sketchy, tragic, funny, and dumb associations. First up: she’s getting sued. The woman suing her is Ashley Samson, who was one of the original named sources for the National Enquirer’s first report on Tiger’s infidelity. After Tiger’s accident, Uchitel was all “I’ve never met this Ashley person” and Ashley was all “here are pictures of us getting drunk and raunchy together, I’ll just give them to the Enquirer.” Allegedly, Tiger’s people tried to buy off Samson, too. But Samson is going to get money the old fashioned way – by suing the hell out of someone. That someone is her former friend, Rachel Uchitel:

The Tiger Woods scandal could lead to a catfight in a courtroom.

Ashley Samson, the woman who spilled the beans on Woods’ reported romps with New York party girl Rachel Uchitel, said yesterday she “might be” suing Uchitel for trashing her as a liar and druggie.

“She made me look bad,” Samson told a Daily News reporter. Samson says she’s meeting with her lawyer to figure out a legal strategy.

“I’ll know more after I talk to him,” she said. “Check back with me Saturday.”

Samson was quoted by name in a National Enquirer story that tore the lid off the Woods’ romance with Uchitel and led to revelations of other adulterous affairs. Uchitel responded by insisting there was no affair with Woods and slammed Samson.

“I’m not friends with Ashley Simpson or whatever her name is,” Uchitel told The News in a Facebook message.

Uchitel told other news outlets Samson was a “train wreck” who traded sex for money and blew that dough on quaaludes. The Enquirer countered Uchitel’s denials with photos of her and Samson barely dressed and partying together in Spain.

[From The New York Daily News]

I think Samson is probably a very sketchy character, but I like her spunk, and hell, I didn’t make Uchitel spill her secrets to Samson. So, whatever. Next up: Star Magazine is sticking with stories about Uchitel, probably because she’s “The Mistress Classic” or because she’s more interesting than the other C-listers. Star published e-mails Tiger sent to Uchitel where he’s basically pouring his soul out to her. He wrote: “I know it’s brutal on you that you can’t be with me all the time… I get it. It f—–g kills me, too. I finally found someone I connect with, someone I have never found like this…not even at home.” Star also reports that Tiger’s affair with Uchitel is the one relationship that sent Elin Woods into a pre-Thanksgiving rage.

Two weeks after Tiger’s tryst with NYC event planner Rachel Uchitel in an Australian hotel, the golfer called Rachel frantically, telling her he wouldn’t be able to see her for a while and asking her to change the message on her phone, as his wife was likely to contact her. Soon after came the call from Elin — who had heard Star’s story about Tiger’s affair was hitting newsstands.

“I’m hearing stories coming in from everyone from every direction. What’s going on?” Elin asked Rachel, according to an insider, who adds: “Rachel denied she had an affair with Tiger, and told her, ‘I’ve walked your husband to a table at [the NYC night club] Griffin, made sure everything was OK, and that’s the extent of our relationship. It’s ridiculous and crazy that people are saying that I slept with him.’”

Rachel — whose fiancé was killed on 9/11 and whose lovers have included Derek Jeter, David Boreanaz and, reportedly, Ryan Seacrest, Alex Rodriguez and Stephen Dorff — was so convincing that Elin even thanked her for her time before hanging up. But at 1am on Nov. 27, Elin called Rachel again — this time her mood had changed.

“I know everything,” the mother of Tiger’s two young children yelled at Rachel.

Within minutes, Elin and Tiger were involved in a furious fight. As Star reported yesterday, things got so heated Elin threw her cell phone at Tiger, hitting him in the face and breaking his tooth.

“She then grabbed a golf club and chased him around the house, doing tens of thousands of dollars of damage,” a source close to Tiger told Star. “Tiger ran out to his Escalade barefoot to get away from her” — and was in such a state of panic that he crashed into a fire hydrant and a neighbor’s tree after pulling out of his driveway.

[From Star Magazine]

I actually believe some version of this might have happened, just because it fits with the timeline, and it does make some kind of sense that Elin’s suspicions had been raised. Of course, that would mean that Elin wasn’t “genuinely shocked” by the reports, considering she was doing some checking up.

People: Elin Nordegren Woods was “genuinely shocked” with Tiger’s affairs

people-elin-woods

While most of the tabloids have decided to rake Tiger Woods over the proverbial coals for the past two weeks, People Magazine decided to do a softer-focus cover story on Elin Woods, going “inside her ordeal”. People just released part of their cover story online, and it’s pretty standard, yet interesting. According to People’s sources, Elin was truly in the dark about Tiger’s wandering penis, and she when she used to ask about his days and weeks spent away from her, he would lie, and she would believe him:

While more details surface about Tiger Woods’s reported dalliances, the golf great’s Swedish-born wife, Elin Nordegren, has yet to speak about the scandal or give any hint of her distress – beyond a frantic 911 call after her mother collapsed at Woods’s Florida home Tuesday.

But several sources close to the couple tell PEOPLE Nordegren, 29, was genuinely shocked by her husband’s reported infidelities, and is now in deep discussions with him to see if their marriage can be saved. “She loves him and she is totally devastated over learning of his philandering,” one source close to Nordegren says. “She honestly did not know he was cheating on her.”

The same source says Nordegren questioned Woods about rumors that he was having affairs, but believed his denials. “It is sort of sad that all of the golfers knew about Tiger’s cheating throughout his marriage while poor Elin believed his lies when he told her he was not seeing any other women when on the road for days at a time,” the source says. “Now that it has hit her over the head, she is going to make the best decision for her and the kids.”

A smart, athletic student who passed up the chance to study child psychology in Sweden to become a nanny in the U.S., Nordegren tried hard not to lose herself in her husband’s fame. But everything changed after Woods’s Nov. 27 car crash. Since then, says a source inside Woods’s camp, the couple have discussed the full breadth of Woods’ infidelities. “She knows everything,” says the source.

[From People Magazine]

Eh. Do I believe this? Partly. I believe that many aspects of Tiger’s affairs (like the number of women and the crazy unprotected Ambien sex) were “genuinely shocking” to Elin, but I also think that somewhere along the line, she had some idea that Tiger wasn’t being totally upfront, and that he was screwing around at some point. He’s been having affairs for years. And it’s such a constant thing that his management team is organizing and hustling his girls for him. At some point, wouldn’t you have suspicions? That being said, even if Elin did have some idea, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have every right to be majorly pissed. I’ve said it before – I would have walked a while ago. Every day brings a new, nastier revelation… and no one would blame Elin if she cut her losses.

In one other piece of “I didn’t know nothing” news, Tiger’s caddie Steve Williams made a public statement of support for Tiger today. His statement was simple: “I do not have any personal knowledge of anything in the reports related to the Tiger Woods’ stories. Kirsty and I give our heartfelt wishes to Tiger, Elin, Sam and Charlie and hope this gets put to rest soon.” Gee… Tiger’s management team was arranging girls for Tiger, and his caddie didn’t know? It could happen, I suppose. But it’s more likely that Steve Williams just got paid. Or, you know, he just likes his boss and wants to continue working for him.

Elin Woods’ mom rushed from Tiger Woods’ home this morning (updates)
The Presidents Cup - Day One

This is breaking news as it is unfolding so I have no idea what is really going on in this situation. Radar, MSNBC and local Florida affiliates are saying that 50-ish, gray-haired woman was removed from Tiger Woods’ Florida home and rushed to the hospital. My immediate thought when I heard the description of the woman was “housekeeper” or “nanny”. Some kind of employee is my initial guess. But I would also suspect that the description of the woman might match Elin’s mother, right?

A woman, described as being in her 50s with gray hair, was rushed to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida early Tuesday morning, after being removed from a stretcher from Tiger Woods’ Isleworth mansion at 2:36 a.m., a source tells RadarOnline.com.

Authorities, at this time, had not released the name of the woman.

A woman resembling Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, was seen at the hospital driving a black Cadillac Escalade, RadarOnline.com has also learned.

WESH-TV in Orlando, Florida has video of the woman being transported.

Health Central is the same hospital Woods was taken to following his November 27 accident. That incident occurred after an argument with Nordegren on the heels of the National Enquirer’s bombshell revelation Tiger had been having an affair with breathtaking NYC party girl Rachel Uchitel.

Since then, several women have stepped forward and publically claimed that they too had affairs with Tiger.

Stay with RadarOnline.com for the latest developments in the Tiger Woods scandal.

[From Radar]

Okay, I’m double-checking… Fox News has the woman as blonde, and on “advanced life support” after a 2:36 a.m. 911 call. A witness told Fox that “a ‘nice-looking blonde woman’ who looked similar to Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, was driving [an SUV to the hospital].” Also, “according to WFTV-TV, the license plate on that Cadillac Escalade seen at the hospital had only one character that was different from the Escalade involved in the crash.” So perhaps Elin didn’t move out after all. I’m starting to suspect it’s her mother. NYDN has a blurry photo - it could be Elin’s mom. We will update as soon as we have more info.

UPDATE: It’s probably not Elin’s mom. I assumed Elin’s mom would be a blonde, but she’s a brunette. TMZ has a photo of Barbro Holmberg, Elin’s mom and a Swedish politician, and she doesn’t pass for the blurry image the NYDN has. So I’m going with my initial thought: nanny or housekeeper.

UPDATE #2: US Weekly and others are now reporting that the woman was Elin’s mother. So much for my amateur sleuthing. Us Weekly says: “Elin Nordegren’s mother is in stable condition after being rushed to a hospital early Tuesday morning from Tiger Woods’ $2.6 million mansion. NBC News is now identifying the woman as Barbro Holmberg. An emergency dispatcher took the call from Woods’ home at 2:36 a.m. and transferred it to Orange County Fire Rescue, Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jim Solomons tells The Associated Press.” My thoughts are with Elin and her family!

Did Elin Nordegren Woods move out of the Florida estate?
Archival Images of Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods' Wife!

Tiger Woods’ wife Elin should maybe get an award for not blowing up in some spectacular fashion, like getting wasted on tequila and Ambien and trying to climb the Kodak Theatre. Which I would pay to see. Instead, she has made no statements, and she’s kept an extraordinarily low profile during the past two weeks of ridiculous and obscene revelations about her husband’s affairs. So… would it be a surprise that Elin had moved out? Not really. I would have done it a week ago, but that’s me. In any case, Radar is reporting that Elin has moved out of their Florida estate. But Radar also makes it sound like the move might be temporary, more in the vein of “I can’t stand to look at you, I need a godd-amn break” type of “moving out”.

Tiger Woods wife Elin has moved out of their house, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

The explosive development follows numerous women coming forward with claims of affairs with the golfing great.

Elin Nordegren had enough and moved out of the $2.6 million Windermere home, neighbors and other sources close to Tiger, told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Sources tell RadarOnline.com that Elin is living nearby in another house.

Tiger’s affair with Rachel Uchitel was revealed by the National Enquirer and then several other women came forward to tell their stories of sexual relationships with the golfer. He crashed his Cadillac SUV into a fire hydrant and tree in a bizarre one-car crash early Nov. 27 after arguing with his wife about his extra-marital activities.

Tiger and his reps are keeping Elin’s move top secret and hope she will come back to the house as soon as possible. They don’t want any publicity about what is going on in the marriage since Tiger’s cheating was revealed.

[From Radar]

So… yeah. It could be that she’s had enough in total, or it could be that she needs to be away from him for a few weeks. Or it could just be bullsh-t, considering Tiger’s handing out million dollar checks like candy, and Elin’s got a sweet tooth.

In other Elin news, Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight have a statement from one of Elin’s friends, who basically claims Elin would never, ever, ever attack her husband, much less with a golf club.

Despite rumors that Elin Nordegren attacked husband Tiger Woods with a golf club after finding out about an alleged affair, her friend has come to her defense, calling those reports false.

“Certainly she did not go after [Woods] physically and go after him with a golf club. That is not what happened,” three-time Grand Slam tennis chap Lindsay Davenport tells Entertainment Tonight in an interview airing Monday evening. “She’s incredibly hurt by what has gone on, but she handles herself with class, and she’s working it out as best she can.”

Davenport says she has spoken to Nordegren — whom she describes as “very loving, very loyal” and “level headed” — since the Woods affair scandal broke.

“I don’t think Elin particularly cares what people think about her,” she says. “The illusion and the identity out there about her is not her. Although she is having a tough time, she’s really trying to get through it for the kids [daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 months]. What people are saying about her is not what happened.”

At least nine women have been romantically linked to Woods, but Davenport says that Nordegren’s focus remains on her children.

“Nobody wants to go through divorce, especially when there’s young children involved,” Davenport says. “Her priority [is] her children Sam and Charlie. She’s obviously protecting them from the media. Everyone’s wish when you get married is to make it work and we’ll see if they’re able to do that.”

[From Us Weekly]

Do you believe it? Meh. Sure, I’ll buy that Elin’s main priority right now is shielding her kids and protecting them. I get that. I’m not a monster! But the whole “she doesn’t care what people think about her” thing is little strange, I guess. I mean, she’s married to the most famous athlete in the world. And now the most famous womanizer. She cares. Trust me.

Numbers in Tiger Woods prenup; paid off mistress to cancel press conference?

2006 Ryder Cup First Practice Day
This morning, Kaiser covered a story from the Chicago Sun Times that stated that Elin Woods would be given “a hefty seven-figure amount — immediately transfered into an account she alone controls — to stick with her husband.” Elin was originally slated to receive $20 million out of Tiger’s billion dollar fortune if she stayed married to him for a full 10 years. The couple has been married just five years, but Tiger is trying to throw more money at Elin to get her to stay.

The Daily Beast has exclusive details of the prenup terms and the exact dollar amount incentives included in the revised version. According to sources, Elin has been offered the full prenup payout amount, $20 million, plus an additional $55 million if she stays with Tiger for two more years. In order to encourage her to stay, Elin has been given an immediate $5 million payment. The guy made $110 million last year and he’s been married to Elin for five years. If the settlement doesn’t reach nine figures I don’t think it’s fair. That’s a hell of a lot of money, but look at all the women this guy cheated with. He wants his wife to stay for two more years for less than 10% of his fortune. He’s made a billion dollars. Who knows how much of that is left after all the women he’s wooed, but she deserves 1/2 of what he’s made during their marriage. Yes this is a sick amount of money, but look at how much he makes. He was the highest paid athlete in the world last year.

The Daily Beast has learned exclusively that the beleaguered golfer is negotiating an immediate $5 million payout to his wife—and revising her prenup to give her as much as $55 million more to stay with him two more years.

The lawyer familiar with the couple’s negotiations told The Daily Beast that Tiger also has agreed to shorten the original prenup to seven years from the date of marriage, meaning it will vest in another two. And the revised agreement provides for a staggered schedule of payments spread out over five years that could be worth upward of $75 million. So for Elin to collect $80 million, she’ll need to stay with Tiger another seven years, be a dutiful wife in showing up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story. Even if she lasts only two more years, she’ll still walk away with nearly twice what she was entitled to under the original prenup.

Tiger’s advisers, who have successfully gotten the couple into counseling sessions, believe that keeping the marriage intact will help Tiger keep his corporate sponsors and bolster his dented image. Elin is herself considered a good asset. She’s never been a publicity hound or used her marriage to make money through self-help books, lecture series, or QVC makeup and jewelry lines. Rather, she’s just maintained a low profile and dedicated herself to being a spouse and mother. As opposed to some other celebrities, like Tom Cruise or Angelina Jolie, Elin has never pushed her kids into the public eye. So, now, if she is persuaded to stay, she knows little will be the same. Her quiet life is finished. A Los Angeles-based paparazzo told me that a photo of Elin and the children would fetch $250,000. Some agencies are offering $100,000 just for tips that pay off with photos.

[From The Daily Beast]

A press conference scheduled for this morning by the mistress who previously denied a relationship with Tiger was canceled at the last minute. According to Radar Online, Tiger may have paid the woman off to the tune of a million dollars. At least that’s how much money Rachel Uchitel was allegedly seeking not to talk to the press. Now how is it that his wife only gets $5 million while this woman gets a million dollars for staying quiet? Both amounts are a ton of money and more than I’ve seen in my life for sure, but I just feel like Tiger should pony up $100 million bucks and tell his wife she’s free to go. He was caught cheating with at least two different woman while his wife was home taking care of their two kids.

The third woman that’s been named by the press, Kalika Moquin, tells US Weekly the rumors of an affair with Tiger are “completely untrue.” A source tells US that Grubbs is lying and that “She was absolutely sleeping with him. She brags about it!” The source adds that the two were together in Woods’ suite at the MGM Grande on October 22 and 23 of this year. If I were in Elin’s position I would get a damn good lawyer and challenge that prenup. There’s no way in hell I would stick around after all that.

The Presidents Cup - Preview Day 3

When I first read Us Weekly’s headline “Tiger Woods, Wife in ‘Intense Marriage Counseling’” my first thought was “yeah, I’ll bet Elin is counselin’ him upside the head”. But that’s just me. Us Weekly (and the Chicago Sun-Times) are reporting that Tiger and Elin have begun “intense” marriage counseling at their home several times a day. Now… several times a day? Really? What, is Tiger too busy with his mistresses to really draw the process out over the course of months and years? I bet he’s one of those guys, who will agree to counseling only for a few sessions or for a limited time.

After reading these pieces, I’ve come to conclusion that Elin is a smart cookie. After spending the last week hearing the revolting, rolling revelations of her husband’s infidelities, I think Elin is just quietly waiting it out, all the while her eyes are on the prize. She’s already got Tiger bending over backwards to defend her – when certain new details of the police report may indicate that Elin could have been smashing in Tiger’s SUV windows with some kind of… golf club. The Sun-Times’ gossip guy, Bill Zwecker claims that Elin is sticking around for the short term because Tiger is literally making it worth her while – with a seven-figure agreement if she plays the loyal wife through the scandal:

The continuing revelations of alleged Tiger Woods infidelities has placed the golfing megastar’s management team in what one insider called “panic mode” early Wednesday morning.

Despite the release of photographs of Woods looking a bit too friendly with a woman in a Las Vegas nightclub, and a recording — allegedly of a phone call Woods made to former “Tool Academy” reality show alum Jaimee Grubbs — the Woods source insists “Tiger still believes stonewalling the press on this is the best approach.”

Woods did, however, issue a statement Wednesday morning on his Web site, saying “I haven’t been true to my values” and “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” he said.

Also, don’t look for Woods’ wife, Elin, to be moving out of the couple’s Windermere, FL., mansion anytime soon. The links legend’s spouse is reportedly being paid a hefty seven-figure amount — immediately transfered into an account she alone controls — to stick with her husband.

On top of that, my source indicated Elin Nordegren Woods, the mother of Tiger’s two children, has demanded — and is getting — a total rewrite on the couple’s prenuptial agreement making the incentives for her to remain Mrs. Tiger Woods even more enticing.

At this point, the couple needed to remain married for 10 years in order for Woods’ wife to collect a splitsville settlement of $20 million. I’m being told that time frame has been shortened — and the dollar amount increased “substantially.”

Perhaps most important of all, the Woodses have already begun intense marriage counseling — at their home — with a counselor who has been conducting sessions several times daily.

I love Elin. Elin is my new favorite. Elin is going to get PAID, y’all. F-ck Zales. Elin is going to stick around until she gets $10 million per mistress. Elin is going click her heels until she gets 50% of Tiger’s future earnings. Elin is going play the dutiful wife until Tiger lays out for some Harry Winston. And some Bulgari. And some Cartier. And throw in some Neil Lane, too. A girl’s got to have something sparkling on her wrist, ears, neck and fingers while she eats bon-bons in her ex-husband’s mansion.
