Angelina in COLOR. Dear God, is the end nigh? These are photos from the Tokyo, Japan premiere of Moneyball. I saw Moneyball and really, really liked it, and I’m not even a baseball person. The Japanese like baseball, though. Right? I mean, I’m not trying to generalize about an entire nation, but baseball is a popular sport over there, correct? I believe it is, so I imagine they’ll like the film.

Anyway, Angelina is wearing this RED(!!!!!!!) dress. I can’t find the designer ID, but I suspect it’s L’Wren Scott, just because of the way the bust is cut – that’s the way L’Wren does it, and Angelina has worn similar L’Wren dresses and gowns before. She does well in L’Wren (and Versace). I wish she would wear sexy, well-cut dresses like this more often. I wish she would wear color more often too. She also looks like she’s put on a little bit of much-needed weight. Her boobs look great, and her midsection looks a bit fuller. Her arms are still pretty bony though. Also: RED LIPS. Goodness.

As for Brad… Jeez, look how long his hair is. Is this his new thing? Growing out body, facial or head hair randomly? His hair was longish a few months ago when he was filming World War Z in Scotland and England, and I believe he’s still filming that interminable sci-fi film still, now in Budapest. I think the difference in hair length will probably be justified because the film moves back and forth in time. Maybe long-haired Brad is the super-future Brad. I don’t know. I kind of like him with longer hair.

These are photos from last night’s launch of Versace’s collection for H&M. It got a pretty good turnout, with Blake Lively being one of the bigger names there. This is the Blake that we got to know when she was dating Penn Badgley – the famous Boobs Legsy, the girl who would jack up her (fake?) boobs to high heaven and then add a nonexistent mini-skirt. I mean, I actually like this outfit, and I hope Blake continues to dress like this because it’s her “thing” – it’s her “signature”. She lives to show off her body. She didn’t do it as much when she was dating Leonardo DiCaprio, and I get the feeling that Ryan Reynolds has a weird effect on his ladies – something about the GerbilDong makes them want to cover up and de-sexify. But here’s hoping that Blake’s snooze fest relationship with Ryan doesn’t end up badly like ScarJo’s.

Also there: Blake’s ex’s new girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz. Penn Badgley wasn’t there, unfortunately, because I would have loved to have seen that. But I think Penn and Blake are still friendly-ish. So maybe it wouldn’t have been drama. Still, if you’re Penn’s current girl and you’re looking at his former girl with all of her boobs and legs on display, wouldn’t you have wanted to look better than this? I despise her baby-bangs-trauma too.

And here’s Jessica Alba looking rough and Emma Roberts, who I thought looked like a crackhead in this outfit.

I think we generally have to give Nicole Richie a lot of credit for turning her life around. I mean, at one point she was as annoying (or even more so) than Paris Hilton. But she managed to get clean and become a wife and mother and have a seemingly stable life and now she’s a productive member of society, and people root for her and actually like her. But besides all of that, I think we should also give Nicole credit for knowing her own body and for understanding what looks good on her. Yes, I get tired of the hippie crap and the boho trend is over. But when Nicole really tries, she looks great.

So it was at the ACE Awards two nights ago. Nicole was there, she was wearing this sleek, pretty, clean Antonio Berardi gown, and she was showing off her recent breast implants. This is the first good look I’ve had at them in a low-cut gown, and I have to say… they look really good. These are not wonky, mismatched LeAnn Rimes-style bolt-ons. Nicole’s implants look appropriate on her frame and she went for a modest size. I’m thinking she’s a B-cup now, which is probably close to what she was before she had her babies and nursed her boobs away (that was the reasoning Nicole gave to friends).

I also think she’s darkened her blonde, right? It was a rather garish “California blonde” but it’s looking darker these days. I’m still not loving the too-long bangs, but it looks like she’s trying to grow them out. *fingers crossed*

If you’ve been watching The Rachel Zoe Project for long enough, you get to know how Rachel works with some of her bigger clients. Most of the big names don’t actually want to appear on the show, but Rachel must have worn some of them down, because many end up doing at least one appearance. You get an idea of these celebrities not only from their brief appearances, but by how Rachel and her staff talk about the clients. Like, Zoe Saldana comes across as a know-it-all pill who thinks she can pull off anything straight from the runway. Kate Hudson seems flaky and self-absorbed, and she and Rachel have a very sycophantic relationship. Johnny Weir is always fabulous, and he can work stilettos better than most women. Demi Moore is a demanding perfectionist about her “look”. Cameron Diaz wants what no one else has, and Rachel will do anything to get it for her.

Quite honestly, Jennifer Garner comes across the best out of all of Zoe’s clients. I may hate Garner’s casual style – which I’m guessing she does herself – but on red carpets, Jennifer pretty much just wears what Rachel tells her to wear, and she can look decent/good to great. Garner even did a sit-down interview once for TRZP, and she admitted that she really doesn’t know much about fashion, but whatever she’s learned, she’s learned at Rachel Zoe’s feet. I get the feeling that Zoe pushes Garner to wear more vintage, to really pour on the glamour for big occasions, and to go with big designers like Oscar de la Renta and Valentino instead of experimenting with lesser-known labels.

Anyway, now I know something else about Rachel Zoe’s relationship with Garner – Jennifer claims that Rachel won’t let her wear maternity clothes. Rough!

Before giving birth in March, stylist Rachel Zoe was one of the most fashionable pregnant women in Hollywood — so it comes as no surprise that her client Jennifer Garner is too.

“Rachel is still determined not to put me in maternity clothes,” Garner, 39, told reporters at a special screening of Butter at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood Sunday.

“I think she was so little when she was pregnant, she didn’t wear them. Sooner or later, she is going to have to put me in them!” Garner laughed. “Eventually that’s going to happen, but so far she’s gotten her way!”

The Lanvin-clad actress — currently expecting her third child with husband of six years Ben Affleck, 39 — added that she has about “four months to go” until her due date.

“Jen has always wanted three kids,” a source recently told Us Weekly. “This was her plan all along.”

So I’m guessing that the wrinkled Lanvin is not maternity-wear? Ugh. On one side, I understand that Rachel is just trying to ensure that her client have the best styles available to her and maybe Rachel is taking this as a personal challenge to find great clothes that will work as maternity-wear. On the other side, it feels like Rachel expects every girl she works with to starve, even when they’re pregnant. Rough.

Just shoot me in the face, because I think Jennifer Lopez looks fantastic here. Jennifer was one of the big “gets” last night for Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year event. J.Lo wore this Atelier Versace gown that was kind of overkill for the event, although there were several big “named” who ended up wearing formal gowns, so maybe I’m misjudging the “bigness” of the event. Anyway, the dress. Go ahead and yell at me. She looks great in it. Her body looks amazing in it – Versace really works on her historically, something about her curves in Versace’s usually close-cut, sexy tailoring. That thigh-high slit? Sexy! I even like the way the shoulders are cut – usually I dislike that kind of high neck in a gown, but this is great on Jennifer. Have I gushed enough? Nope.

Because I also love the she wore her hair mostly down. Jennifer does the Croydon facelift much, much too often, and I personally think she looks better when she works a softer hairstyle. I love her hair here too.

According to Us Weekly, Jennifer was the center of attention during the dinner too:

As one of the year’s honorees, Lopez looked uncharacteristically nervous at the podium.

“It’s been kind of a long night, right?” she joked, in a nod to the night’s impressive list of honorees, including Jennifer Aniston, former First Lady Laura Bush, Arianna Huffington, Gloria Steinem and others.

“We all felt a little overwhelmed tonight,” Lopez, who seemed on the verge of tears throughout her speech.

The singer, actress, designer and American Idol judge has, of course, had a challenging year, after she and Marc Anthony announced the end their marriage of seven years in July.

She told the crowd what gets her through the tough times. “It’s the women. Through the ups and the not so ups, that’s the one thing that got me through,” she admitted. “My grandmother, who taught me to cook and not be afraid to serve and be humble. And to go out looking nice because people like that and then they respect you.”

Another motivator? “My daughter Emme [3] inspires me to be a better human being.”

Here are photos of Lea Michele and Emma Stone at last night’s Glamour Magazine Women of the Year event. Lea was obviously the one who enjoyed being photographed, as there are more photos of her than nearly anyone else on the red carpet. She was posing her ass off in this Jenny Packham gown. I basically only know Jenny Packham as a designer because the Duchess of Cambridge has worn a few Packham pieces, so now I associate the label with frilly, frothy princess-wear. That association probably pleases Lea to no end. While I don’t hate this dress on Lea, I’m not really in love with it either. It’s just kind of boringly pretty. I do think Lea’s wearing too much makeup though. The red lips are overkill.

Meanwhile, Emma Stone was probably one of the best-dressed girls at the event. She wore this off-yellow-gold-green Lanvin that photographs wildly different in different light. She did not pose her ass off in this dress, which is a mistake! I would have liked to have seen this look from different angles. And while I’ve yelled at Emma several times over the past few months for getting it so wrong so often, I think this Lanvin is a win.

These are some photos of Chelsea Handler ar last night’s Glamour Women of the Year Awards, held last night in NYC. Er… I’m not sure this cameltoe-enhancing catsuit was the best choice, you know? Her boobs look good, though. Chelsea went to the event alone – her NYC-based boyfriend, hotelier Andre Balazs wasn’t her date for the event. This caused Page Six to raise the Code Red: Single Lady – they claim that Andre and Chelsea broke up shortly after Halloween. They been dating for most of the year – the earliest reports about them began this past January. Here’s what Page Six is saying:

Funny girl Chelsea Handler and handsome hotelier André Balazs have split after nearly a year, sources have exclusively confirmed to Page Six.

The comedienne and host of E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” who received a Glamour Women of the Year Award last night at Carnegie Hall, walked the red carpet without Balazs by her side.

“She’s fine,” a source told us. “If she’s feeling down, she’s certainly not showing it.”

Handler and Balazs were together as recently as Halloween weekend, when she attended the “Sinners or Saints”-themed bash at the Balazs-owned Top of the Standard hosted by Balazs, Nick Rhodes, André Saraiva and Thomas Hayo. Balázs and Handler arrived in costume as “Duke and Lady von Glamoor-ass from the Weimar Republic.” Sources said the couple appeared very much together at the event, but broke up shortly after.

It was not immediately clear what provoked the split, but Handler tapes her show in LA while Balazs spends much of his time in New York. The two were first spotted together in January at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where they looked cozy at several parties.

Handler and Balazs continued their public displays of affection at the Super Bowl in Dallas, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, and at Handler’s signing in May of her fourth book, “Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me,” at (where else?) the Top of the Standard.

Glamour this year named the talk-show host a “Queen of the Night,” calling her “the only woman to succeed as a late-night-comedy host, ever.” Jennifer Lopez, Tory Burch and artist Cindy Sherman were also honored.

Handler said of being named as an honoree: “I think women see themselves in me . . . I’m making a fool out of myself for us. I’m happy to do it.”

A rep for Handler had no comment and Balazs’ rep did not get back to us by press time.

I always found them to be a weird couple – Andre is pretty hot, he’s rich, and he’s a catch. Unfortunately, I also think Andre likes really trashy blondes – he was rumored to be dating Courtney Love just before this hookup with Chelsea. To go from C-Love to C-Handler? Is that a downgrade? Anyway, it doesn’t sound like Chelsea is too worked up over it. That’s one of the few things I like about her – she seems to do the dumping and she moves on really quickly.

Last night was the big premiere for The Immortals, that 300-looking film with Henry Cavill attempting to look like Gerard Butler. I actually think Cavill is more traditionally handsome than Gerard… but for some reason, I think The Immortals looks totally dumb, while I still think 300 is pretty awesome – is it because of The Butler? The Fassbender? Who knows? Anyway, I don’t really care about any of the dudes at the premiere (Kellan Lutz was there, in all of his Kellan Lutzy glory), so let’s just talk about the girls. Specifically, let’s talk about Freida Pinto in this Antoni Berardi gown.

Now, you know I think Freida is one of the most beautiful girls out there. Her face is magnificent. She has a slender figure that is a great “hanger” for so many styles and designers. I think she probably has a great eye for fashion too. But I kind of hate this dress on her. First of all, it looks like a knockoff of something Alexander McQueen would have done. Second of all, there’s a bridal vibe to it – I think it’s because of the overblown white and all of the bodice work. Thirdly, I dislike Frieda’s too-heavy makeup with this dress. If she had styled it differently, I think I might have liked it more. Still, even though I’m not crazy about this look, she’s so striking and pretty.

I also found Isabel Lucas to be “striking” at the premiere too. But mostly I was struck by how she looks sickly and deathly. She’s lost weight and that blonde makes her look terrible. So rough. I hope she gets some help, both psychologically and sartorially. The awful dress is Roksanda Ilincic, by the way. Hideous.

I think these are the last batch of photos I’ll be doing from the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year event. Mostly, I want to cover these pics because I absolutely HATE Jessica Alba’s Tory Burch dress. This is the kind of dress I expect on a young child – like, Suri Cruise would rock this dress. Kiernan Shipka would rock this dress, and she would be adorable in it. A 30-something self-proclaimed Fashion Girl? Nope. But! I like her makeup and her hair – although the hair is not right for a formal dinner. But her face looks beautiful, and look! SHE’S SMILING.

Incidentally, regarding Alba – Star Magazine had a small little blurb in this past week’s issue claiming that Alba and Cash Warren are having serious problems and that having little Haven didn’t help their relationship at all. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’ve always thought Cash was so skeevy, so whatever.

Next fashion girl: Kerry Washington in yellow Marchesa. I keep wondering about Kerry, actually, whenever I see a new photo of her. For a while there, girl was looking rough, like she had gotten some wonky face work done and nothing had settled. Maybe it was weight loss, or maybe she had just gotten some cheap nip-tuck, I don’t know. But she actually looks rather nice here – I’m not a huge fan of yellow, and I’m not a huge fan of Marchesa’s cheap showgirl looks, but this is okay on her.

And lastly, Laura Bush and her daughters – I like that they all wore bold colors. Those girls adore their mom.

Jennifer Garner was all over the place this weekend. She pap’d herself and her daughters again, of course, like always, but she also did two different red carpets. On Saturday night, it was an event called “Reel Stories, Real Lives” – Ben Affleck was not in attendance, but Russell Brand was, and he and Garner were friendly on the red carpet. The Saturday night photos are the ones where Garner is wearing a black lace dress and tuxedo jacket. Then last night she did the AFI Fest premiere of her new film, Butter. Those are the pics where she’s wearing a wrinkled, one-shoulder maternity cocktail dress by Lanvin in what seems like a very dark navy blue.

Besides the wrinkles – which she gets a pass for because she’s super-preggo – I really like the Lanvin. It’s a different choice for Garner, and I applaud her for trying something that she normally wouldn’t. I like the “sari” effect in a cocktail dress – it reminds me, in design, of that mint green Valentino sari that Jennifer Lopez wore to the Oscars… when J.Lo was with Ben. Ben wasn’t at the AFI Fest premiere either.

Should I say something about Jennifer’s bump? Much like Jessica Simpson’s it looks way more natural and real than Beyonce’s. I think Jennifer is carrying very well with this pregnancy – she seems a lot smaller than she did when she was pregnant with Seraphina. I much prefer the Lanvin dress to the black lace one too – the lace one looks like she’s a knocked-up widow.

Here’s a question: does pregnancy make your lips bigger? Because her lips look HUGE.
