Here’s how I think the Scarlett Johansson-Sean Penn split went down: for a while they were happy, until Scarlett had to leave LA to work on The Avengers. Sean took that opportunity to play the “No, I’m not going to come visit you, this was just a casual thing, remember?” card, to which Scarlett was all, “BUT WE’RE LIVING TOGETHER, I thought we were REAL.” To which Sean was all “LMAO, GTFO.” Then Sean went to Cannes and boned a bunch of ladies, after which his rep confirmed the ScarJo split, under the table, to People Magazine, which caught Scarlett by surprise. So she decided to cling and force the issue when she ran into Sean at the Guys Choice Awards, making sure they were photographed together, and probably trying to talk him into coming back to her.

Well, Sean isn’t coming back. At least not right away. According to E! News, Sean was spotted out on a date with Garcelle Beauvais. The only thing I really know about Garcelle is that she was married to her dorky, vanilla husband for nine years, and when he dumped her for another woman, she went on a rampage, emailing all of his friends and coworkers with accusations of her estranged husband’s infidelities with “some slut in Chicago” (her actual words). It was a pretty good scandal, and now I’m really hoping Sean and Garcelle are a thing.

When Sean Penn has a night out in Hollywood, people notice—especially if he’s with a beautiful, and pretty well-known, fellow celeb. So who shared a meal with the outspoken actor and human-rights activists the other night at the celebrity haunt Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles?

Although he was arrived solo and sat alone at the bar for a bit, he was eventually joined by none other than Franklin & Bash actress Garcelle Beauvais.

“When she arrived, they moved to the front corner table, which put them on display,” a source tells us. “They sat inside for a while and even ordered food.”

Then they moved outside, where Penn was able to smoke—and perhaps have more privacy? Penn’s rep did not immediately comment. Beauvais’ issued the standard line about not commenting on her client’s private life.

So was it romantic? If it wasn’t, perhaps the two were discussing their efforts to help rebuild Haiti. Beauvais, who was born in Haiti, lost an aunt in the earthquake. “I did a short film, called Eyes to See, a lot of charity and raising money,” the 44-year-old beauty recently told Jet magazine about her work there. “My family in Miami is doing everything: sending coats, sending supplies. A lot of people have stepped up for Haiti. In that, there is so much hope.”

She was on hand in New York when Penn was honored earlier this year at the Help Haiti: Urban Zen HHRH & The Stiller Foundation event, which honored the Oscar winner for his work on the island nation.

Beauvais has been married and divorced twice and has three children. Her second marriage ended when she allegedly caught her agent husband Mike Nilon cheating on her. An email she wrote to his colleagues outlining his infidelities was leaked to the press. Penn, 50, who was married but now divorced from Madonna and Robin Wright, was most recently linked to Scarlett Johansson, 26.

Obviously, if they are a “thing” now, Sean will definitely be cheating on her and Garcelle will definitely be cutting a bitch when that happens (and the “bitch” would be Sean). It should be an excellent adventure if and when that happens, although it does seem like they really could just have some kind of professional/humanitarian relationship.

My first thought was about Sean’s girlfriend before Scarlett – he was dating an African-American model named Jessica White. I kind of think Jessica and Garcelle look similar, so maybe he has a type. Or maybe his type is “biscuits, pulse”.

Oh, snap! I had never really formed an opinion of actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon before, other than to think that she’s very pretty and I can’t remember seeing her in anything. Anyway, my new opinion of her: this lady is hardcore. Garcelle has been married to her husband, CAA agent Mike Nilon (the white boy in the photos) for nine years. Or, as Garcelle wrote to Mike’s CAA colleagues in an email, “I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some slut in Chicago.” Damn, Garcelle!

Neither Beauvais-Nilon nor Nilon responded to multiple calls and e-mails seeking comment. CAA had no comment.

Even though Miss Manners would probably not be happy with Garcelle’s decision, I really do think it’s pretty awesome. If Mike has been having an affair for five years “with some slut in Chicago” then either his coworkers knew, or they should know. Now, if it was a one night stand, eh. I might feel differently. But presumably a five year affair affected his work. Hell, the affair could have even been with someone related to work, and that’s why Garcelle “outed” him to CAA. All I know is that I love Garcelle now.

Wendy Williams has a new television chat show, and she invited actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon on as a guest. They were discussing their friends, and Wendy asked Garcelle if she was still close friends with Jamie Foxx, whom she had worked with on The Jamie Foxx Show in the 1990s. Garcelle confirmed that she and Jamie are still friends, and that they spent some time together at Easter. Garcelle then said, “He told me that he had a new baby and I said, ‘Jamie, wow! Do I know the babymama?’ and he goes, ‘No.’ And I go, ‘Do you know the babymama?’” So, basically, Jamie’s “good friend” Garcelle just outed Oscar-winner Jamie as having a secret baby and baby-mama on a C-List chat show. Why didn’t one of Jude Law’s friends do this?

Actress Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon has sparked a new gossip storm after revealing former co-star Jamie Foxx has had a secret child on national TV. The Wild Wild West star was chatting with talk show host Wendy Williams on TV when she let it slip that her Jamie Foxx Show pal was a dad again.

Revealing she’s still close to the Oscar winner, Beauvais-Nilon told Williams, “We’re very cool, we saw each other on Easter Sunday… and he told me that he had a new baby and I said, ‘Jamie, wow! Do I know the babymama?’ and he goes, ‘No.’ And I go, ‘Do you know the babymama?’”

Shocked by the revelation, Williams asked her studio audience if they knew Foxx was a new dad, adding, “Thank you for the hot topic tidbit.”

Realizing she may have given too much away, a red-faced Beauvais-Nilon looked into the camera and said, “J, I’m sorry!”

The show then cut to a commercial break.

Foxx’s representatives have yet to address the rumour the Ray star is a dad again.

The never married funnyman/singer has a teenage daughter from a previous relationship.

Jamie already has one daughter that we know of, Corinne, who is either 13 or 14 years old. She was his date for the Oscars the year he won (2005). It wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Jamie has another child, and one he’s kept secret. This is because I really don’t know much about Jamie’s personal life. That being said, he’s always struck me as a good-time, anything-goes sort of man (like Jude Law), so I don’t find it particularly shocking that he’s got a baby (or two or three) we haven’t heard about. Hopefully, he’s financially supporting the baby and the mother. We’ll see.

The stars were out for the premiere of the new terrorism-themed film The Kingdom in LA on Monday. Jennifer Garner looked stunning in a loose red dress with tiered layers. Jada Pinkett Smith’s outfit was a definite miss, though. She wore fuschia satin shorts paired with a matching jacket. She loves bright colors and looks great in simple dresses with shocking colors, but her look was just wrong. Her husband Will looked hot though in a quilted black leather jacket, shades and dark jeans.

I saw the trailer for this movie during one of my rare nights out when my husband and I went to see The Bourne Supremacy. It looks like a good intelligent thriller, and centers around FBI agents, played by Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Chris Cooper, trying to capture a lead terrorist after a civilian attack on the US. Watching the trailer gave me goosebumps and it hit too close to home for me as I lived right near NY when 9/11 happened. I’m not sure theater-goers are ready for that with the war still going on and touching so many people. (Not that there is any connection between the war and 9/11. It’s just that too many people have died recently through random acts of terrorism, and there’s a lot of that in this movie.) It looks like it provides the riveting story of the capture of a top terrorist, but I don’t think I would be able to watch it, even on DVD.

The Kingdom is getting decent reviews, and is said to be an action-packed film with a tight plot. It currently has a 60% aggregate critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The Kingdom is out in US theaters on September 28.
