Josh Hartnett hooked up with Gisele Bundchen

Everyone was saying the Josh Hartnett looked like crap after he was seen out at an event last week in need of a brow wax and some hair pomade. Page Six reported that his low-key relationship with sexy smartie Scarlet Johansson seemed to be doing ok after they were spotted making out. Now Page Six is reporting that he was seen making out with gorgeous Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen at a club on Saturday Night:

WE may have jumped the gun yesterday when we announced Josh Hartnett was back with on-again, off-again girlfriend Scarlett Johansson. They were seen making out last week, but apparently they are taking Johansson’s “open relationship” policy seriously. Hartnett was spotted at Spotted Pig sucking face with supermodel Gisele Bundchen Saturday night. “They were all over each other,” said the spy. Reps for Harnett didn’t return calls, and a rep for Bundchen would not comment.

Bundchen was known as Leonardo Dicaprio’s longterm girlfriend until they broke it off in the fall of 2005. She was linked with surfer Kelly Slater shortly afterwards, but they are said to have split in July of this year.

Hartnett and Johansson have not had a very stable relationship. They have been rumored to have broken up several times, Johansson has said that she’s no fan of monogamy, and Hartnet was seen out with an unknown brunette while he was filming in Australia.

I doubt that Josh and Gisele will last. He does seem like the intelligent type like DiCaprio, but he doesn’t strike me as a guy who could hold Gisele’s interests.

Scarlet and Josh are like Sienna and Jude and will probably keep running back to each other when they’re both single. At least they have the sense not to talk about it.

Here are some outtakes from Gisele Bunchen’s photoshoots. I have no idea how old they are. They were found on SuperiorPics.

Justin Timberlake Sings to Victoria’s Secret Models

Mega star Justin Timberlake is performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show to air on December 5th. Timberlake will be singing his sexy hit songs while the hot Victoria’s Secret models strut the catwalk. The fashion show (almost naked women show) is on Tuesday, December 5th on CBS.

At least someone on stage will be wearing clothes.

Note from Celebitchy: I don’t know about you, but these pictures just make me want to work out at the gym for two hours and buy new underwear afterwards. I guess that’s what they’re going for.

Here are pictures from the show, which was taped about two weeks ago. Thanks to CBS and PopSugar for these pictures.

Gisele helps save the Amazon rainforest and its people

At first I wanted to rip on Gisele for posing all dolled up with this indigenous tribe of people who are probably annoyed by her pretty invasion, not to mention all the camera and makeup people she must have in tow. She looks ridiculous trying to act all solemn while getting her face painted. She’s even seen applying lipliner while wearing a traditional headdress and peering at herself in the mirror.

Then I found this article in Portugese that says that Gisele is starring in a new commercial with the proceeds to bring awareness to Amazon rainforest deforestation and loss of clean water in Mato Grosso, Brazil, which is seriously threatening the Xingu River’s indigenous people’s way of life.

She means well of course, and she’s using her extreme beauty for a good cause.

Here’s the crappy online translation:

São Paulo - the Grendene, in partnership with the advertising agency W/Brasil, will place in air an announcement involving the model Gisele Bündchen, the Socioambiental Institute and Kisêdjê indians. The mark places in the market a thematic sandal on the Aboriginal Park of the Xingu, in the Mato Grosso, whose vendas will help to collect resources to support project Y Ikatu Xingu (”It saves the Good Water of the Xingu”), of the Institute Socioambiental (ISA).Seu intention is to call the attention the society for the deforestation of headboards of the River Xingu, symbol of the Brazilian socioambiental diversity. In last the ten years, the devastação of this area folded of size, and many springs are drying and affecting the quality of life of 250 a thousand people, enclosed in this account 18 aboriginal peoples.

It goes on to say that of all the Xingu River tribes the Kisedje was chosen for the commercial because they are known for their music and spirituality.

The people of the Xingu river valley are speaking out against a hydroelectric dam that is under construction. Cattle ranchers, soy farmers and loggers are polluting the river, killing off native plants and animals. The indigenous people say that it has become unbearable in the past five years and that if nothing changes they will die out soon:

We left our land in the Xingu to come to Europe to speak out about the many, problems we are facing. All the headwaters of the great Xingu River are very polluted. This is because the white people who are agriculturalists throw in toxic pesticides. They chuck everything in there — rubbish, empty cans and bottles of rum. They also kill the wild animals and they leave the dead bodies rotting by the river banks. We Mehinaku use the water to bathe in, to drink from and to fish. We are fisher people — we don’t eat red meat. In the Xingu there is a lot of fish, every type of fish. Fish are so important to us and now the fish are dying.

We are very, very worried because now a hydroelectric dam is being built on the Culuene river. Building has already started. I went to Brasilia to protest. All the indigenous peoples of the Xingu went to demonstrate there, and they told us they can’t stop the dam. They keep on building. We went to the dam site to protest and they stopped work, but as soon as we left they started again. They don’t care about us. When we go to see what is happening they don’t want to know. So we need help. We have to fight for a better life. We don’t want that dam. We want to preserve our land. We have to show people not to pollute the water, not to kill animals and not to throw poison in the rivers….

long time ago, this was our land. Now everything is finished. All the trees are gone. There are no bees’ nests full of honey and no eagles. There are no tapirs, no monkeys — they have all died or fled. There are no animals here at all. The Preto River is totally spoiled. There are no fish and the river is all polluted. The ranchers are finishing everything and this land has become ugly.

All this land belongs to the yakairiti — our ancestral spirits — who are the owners of the natural resources. They own the rivers, the fish and the trees. If you finish these off, the yakairiti will take vengeance and will kill all the Enawene Nawe. We’ve been on this land for a long time. There were no inuti [non-Indian people] here when I was young. We were here long before them.

We never knew that so many ranchers would arrive in our land. We didn’t know that tractors existed and we didn’t know about chain saws that cut down trees. Nor did we know about cattle. Then we saw that as the city people came on to our land, they brought diseases, they polluted the rivers and finished off the birds and animals.

Five years ago, there was nobody here. Now many, many people keep arriving. It’s one ranch after another. We are not interested in cows because we don’t eat meat. So these cattle ranches are of no use to us and we want nothing to do with them. These inuti are very different to us. They cut down the forest, pollute the rivers and mine deep into the earth. Then they throw away what they don’t want. We do not want to sell or exchange our trees…

We, the Enawene Nawe, will never destroy the forest. We want the animals alive and are longing for the earth to look beautiful forever. The inuti will take everything out so there will be no fish, no feasts and no ancestors and we will die.

We are very, very sad and very frightened. We want our words and pictures to be carried far away to other countries, so they can see and hear us. We need help from them.

When I first started writing this post I was just going to talk about Gisele looking foolish among the native people. Now I realize how serious the situation is, and how much it needs attention.

You can help save the world’s rainforests by visiting The Rainforest Site and clicking on their banner once a day.

Here is more information about deforestation in the Amazon.

Costume Institute Gala over 100 photos

The Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art held a ball last night to celebrate the opening of an exhibit on British design. Sienna Miller, wearing an awful gold sequined minidress and black tights, served as co-chair for the event.

The star-studded Costume Institute Gala was the opening event for a new exhibition celebrating British design at New York’s prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The flamboyant show, made up of themed rooms including a Hunt Ball and a Gentleman’s Club, is the latest example of the city’s growing obsession with all things from across the pond.

Celebrities from the UK including Liz Hurley, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell put on their glad rags for the lavish event.

The Americans were represented by A-listers including Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Richard Gere.

The British-born editor of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, swept in first.

Miller, who teamed her glittering frock with opaque black tights and wore her hair tied back in a simple ponytail, shared the limelight with Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry.

He and Wintour were the starlet’s fellow co-chairs. The fashion house and Vogue publisher Condé Nast have sponsored the exhibition.

The guy dressed like a cabaret pirate posing with Charlize Theron is Dior designer John Galiano. He’s responsible for her monstrosity of an Oscar gown with the giant shoulder bow. Sienna Miller is shown with Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s creative director.

We have over 100 pictures from the event. Stars and designers attending include Alexander McQueen, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, John Galliano, Charlize Theron, Lindsay Lohan, Victoria Beckham, Emmy Rossum, Eva Mendes, Gisele Bundchen, Gretchen Mol, Jessica Alba, Josh Hartnett, Lenny Kravitz, Donatella Versace, Rupert Everett, Linda Evangelista and Amber Valetta, Jessica Alba, Marcia Gay Harden, Mary-Kate Olsen, Ashley Olsen, Melania Trump, Donald Trump, Molly Sims, Rosario Dawson, Scarlett Johansson, Stella McCartney, Amanda Peet, Andre Leon Talley, Naomi Campbell, Angela Lindvall, Angie Harmon, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady, Chloe Sevigny, Ciara, Dita Von Teese and Marliyn Manson, Drew Barrymore, Elizabeth Hurley, Erin O’Connor, Matthew Williamson, Eve, Gina Gershon, Ginnifer Goodwin, Ivana Trump, Jacquetta Wheeler, Jason Lewis, Jessica Stam, John Legend, Johnny Rotten, Josh Lucas, Joy Bryant, Julia Stegner, Iselin Steiro, Karolina Kurkova, Lily Cole, Lauren Bush, Lily Donaldson, Gemma Ward, Liv Tyler, Francisco Costa, Lydia Hearst, Mandy Moore, Minnie Driver, Nick Cannon, Petra Nemcova, Rachel Roy, Damon Dash, Ralph Fiennes, Richard Gere, Cary Lowell, Thandie Newton, Selma Blair, Shalom Harlow, Sienna Miller, Christopher Bailey, designer for Burberry, Zooey Deschanel, Sophie Dahl, Ivanka Trump, Mark Ruffalo, Taye Diggs, Idima Menzel, and Sarah Wynter.

Gisele Bundchen in Italian GQ and for Ebele

Gisele Bundchen appears in April’s Italian edition of GQ magazine. She also is shooting ads for watch maker Ebele. Her career is in full force, with an upcoming appearance in the film The Devil Wears Prada and a new role in a film with David Beckham and Gerard Depardieu:

Newly released photographs of the catwalk queen shooting a promotion for luxury watch brand Ebel show she has lost none of her sultry appeal. In one of the pictures the 25-year-old, who was named by Forbes magazine as the most successful model of all time, shows off her enviable curves by posing in a sizzling black bikini.

And it would appear billboards and magazine pages aren’t the only places fans can expect to see the model. Having recently wrapped up an appearance opposite Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, the blonde bombshell has now signed on to play one of the leading roles in Asterix At The Olympic Games. Working on the new adventure will see the South American starring alongside England football captain David Beckham and legendary French actor Gerard Depardieu.

Gisele Bundchen upskirt photo

I got these from I’m not obsessed today and am not sure if they’re new, but hell, there’s a picture of Gisele Bundchen’s panties so it doesn’t matter. The Bastardly doesn’t seem to have them, so they’re probably new.

Once again: Gisele is not dating Ron Burkle.

Gisele Bundchen’s panties and legs that go on forever after the jump. They’re sort of safe for work.

Retraction of the last post

I found a picture of Gisele Bundchen with activist billionaire Ron Burkle on the JJB Board. I dug up information on the guy to create a post - just in case they were dating. It was published when I found out that Burkle and Bundchen were out doing business. Burkle owns a stake in P.Diddy’s clothing line and Bundchen is thinking of starting her own line too. Bundchen owns and designs Ipanema sandals, which sell over 6 million pairs a year. Picture [via]

Thanks for understanding, and the old post is after the jump.
