Rachel Uchitel double crossed by Gloria Allred, has to return Tiger’s millions

wenn2791659
This is the type of story that the term schadenfreude is made for, since it involves Rachel Uchitel being beaten at her own game. According to TMZ, Rachel was persuaded by her lawyer, Gloria Allred, to return the bulk of the $10 million package she extorted settlement Tiger Woods gave her in exchange for not holding a press conference revealing details of their affair. Since Rachel is a famewhore (or just leave out the fame part) at heart, she possibly violated the confidentiality clause in her settlement by going on Celebrity Rehab, doing multiple interviews and generally keeping the story alive, even though she claims innocence since she never went on the record about her experiences with Tiger. So Allred advised Uchitel to make a deal with Tiger’s lawyer and give most of the money back, only Allred worked out a nice package for herself where she got to keep her lawyer’s fee. She really is the head madam of the stripper mistresses and she’ll sell them out in a heartbeat. Excuse me while I point and laugh.

TMZ has learned … Rachel Uchitel has given Tiger Woods back most of the settlement money he paid her … and now Rachel is preparing to sue Gloria Allred, the lawyer who struck the deal, allegedly because Gloria sold her out for money.

As TMZ reported, Gloria negotiated a $10 million settlement for Rachel … just hours before Rachel was going to hold a tell-all news conference about Tiger Woods. The settlement included a confidentiality agreement, which prohibited Rachel from talking about Tiger.

We’ve learned the agreement stated … if Rachel violated the confidentiality clause … she would not only have to return the money she received but Tiger could sue her for damages as well.

Sources tell TMZ … several months ago Tiger’s lawyer, Jay Lavely, contacted Gloria and said they were going after Rachel because they believed she violated the confidentiality agreement by allegedly speaking with TMZ and going on “Celebrity Rehab” to treat her “addiction to love” — though she never talked specifically about Tiger on the show.

We’re told Rachel felt strongly she had not violated the agreement, but Gloria allegedly convinced her she would lose if push came to shove, so Gloria struck a deal with Lavely — that Rachel would return the lion’s share of the settlement money.

But our sources say … what has Rachel fuming is that Gloria allegedly made a deal with Jay Lavely — that Gloria would still get all of her attorney’s fees. Rachel believes Gloria sold her out … allegedly making a deal with Tiger’s lawyer to strong-arm Rachel into giving the money back and in return Gloria would get her fee — a fee Gloria would not have received if Rachel went to arbitration and lost.

We’re told Rachel went along with the deal, but as time went on she felt she had gotten screwed, and then hired a malpractice lawyer who has made a demand on Gloria to either pay Rachel what she gave back or get sued.

[From TMZ]

How stupid do you have to be to jeopardize $10 million for a $500k gig on a reality show with D listers? The fame was so important to this idiot that she ended up losing the lottery money she earned for being the first Tiger mistress to go public. Given the sh*tstorm that followed, her silence wasn’t worth four figures not to mention eight. She was just one of over a dozen that we know of.

Tiger was one of countless hookups for Rachel too. A source recently revealed to TMZ that while Rachel was seeing Tiger she was also dating a guy named Jamie Dingman. Dingman, an investment banker and the son of a billionaire, is currently dating Tiger’s ex, Elin Woods. A “friend” of Rachel’s told TMZ that back when Jamie was with Rachel he knew that she was also seeing Tiger and told her “That’s ok. I’ll date his wife, Elin.” Elin sure knows how to pick ‘em.

Weinergate stripper holds a press conference with Gloria Allred (update: he’s resigning)

fp_7466744_lee_aldred_aar_0

Another sex scandal, another porn star/stripper cashing in by association and holding press conferences with Gloria Allred following failed extortion attempts. Only this stripper didn’t even sleep with the guy in question and only has some messages in which the Congressman refers to his “package” in the third person. She supposedly never even reciprocated. It’s not news, but this poor stripper claims it’s all been a “nightmare” to tell her story to TMZ about how Weiner coached her to lie and to attach Weinergate labels to her future stripping gigs.

Ginger Lee, an ex-porn star and Anthony Weiner‘s sext messaging friend, held a press conference today, with help from her lawyer Gloria Allred, to share her side of the story — and some of the sext messages she received.

Gloria said her client received more than 100 messages from Anthony, E! News reports.

Examples of messages include: “Alright, my package and I are not going to beg. We both see the hazard of going down the path of comparative sexiness” and “You aren’t giving my package due credit.”

And Ginger says she never responded to his emails.

“Once the electronic communications began, we did communicate on a fairly regular basis. However, I did not sext Anthony Weiner. I did not send photos to him or receive any from him,” she claimed. “Any time that he’d take our communications in a sexual direction, I did not reciprocate. When the Tweet regarding his crotch went out, I’d already been told by him about a Twitter sex scandal on the horizon.”

Ginger also said Anthony “asked me to lie about our communication.” So she went into hiding.

She called the scandal a “nightmare,” and Gloria mentioned that she “lost income” from her dancing career while she was hiding from the situation.

Anthony is reportedly seeking treatment now and Ginger thinks the congressman should quit.

“I think that Anthony Weiner should resign because he lied to the public and the press for more than a week,” she said. “It might never have turned into this if he told the truth, but he kept lying.”

[From OK Magazine]

Does Gloria Allred have any sense of shame? She’s probably ashamed she didn’t land anyone connected to Charlie Sheen, despite how much she bitched and moaned about him. This was an attempt to get cash from Weiner in exchange for keeping quiet. When he refused to pony up, the stripper went to the press and then launched a strip tour as a “scandal” girl, just like the Tiger Woods, David Boreanaz and Jesse James stripper/porn star mistresses who were also repped by Allred. She must be giving these porn stars career advice post scandal. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that she’s coaching new girls to set up honeypots for famous men.

Update: The NY Times reports [via Gawker] that Weiner is going to announce his resignation during a press conference this afternoon. I hope Allred doesn’t think she deserves any credit for this one.

David Boreanaz settling sexual harassment lawsuit for undisclosed amount

wenn5465530
In July of last year, we heard that an aspiring actress was suing David Boreanaz for sexual harassment stemming from a series of incidents after she met him on the set of Bones, where she had just filmed a bit part. This news came after Boreanaz had admitted cheating on his wife and was linked with at least two mistresses, some porn star/stripper and Rachel Uchitel.

The woman suing Boreanaz was repped by lawyer Gloria Allred, who has a history of representing mistresses who want to shake down wealthy and famous cheaters after they’re done with them. Only the details in this case sound more like typical harassment. According to the lawsuit, Boreanaz promised to help the “alleged” victim with her career in the fall of 2009, then proceeded to send her multiple text messages, including one of his d*ck. He allegedly offered to give her a ride somewhere, but then drove to a park, made advances that she fended off, and then masturbated when she made it clear she wasn’t interested. In another incident in his trailer, he tried to make a move on her and was again rebuffed. It sounds sketchy to me that she kept seeing him after he was so wildly inappropriate, to say the least, but she maintains that he promised to help her with her career and she believed him.

It looks like we may be hearing the last of this story, though, because the case has been dismissed after Boreanaz and the woman reached an undisclosed settlement. Maybe the creep learned his lesson and will keep it in his pants when it comes to sexually harassing would-be actresses on set. He’s surely still got a wandering dick, though, but it will be seeking out paid professionals and gold diggers in the future. Whether it will cost him less in the long run remains to be seen.

Gloria Allred bitch slaps Charlie Sheen in open letter

wenn55630952
Pitbull lawyer Gloria Allred may be a mistress chaser, but she’s also an advocate for abused women despite holding laughable press conferences that tend to muddy the cause. Allred has issued an open letter calling out Charlie Sheen for his abusive behavior and flippant comments following his infamous freakout on a prostitute last month. I would guess Allred already reached out to Charlie’s hooker porn star and issued this letter when she was unable to sign her as a client. Radar has the details as well as the entire text of the letter if you have a high tolerance for sanctimony and some time to kill:

Charlie Sheen – here’s one woman you can’t seduce.

Famed womens’ rights campaigner and high-powered attorney Gloria Allred has written an open letter to Sheen after the Hollywood wild man dismissed his drunk and drug-fueled rage at the Plaza Hotel in New York City as “one bad night”.

“Charlie, I for one am not seduced by it,” she said the father-of-five’s trademark smile, in the letter, obtained by RadarOnline.com.

“I don’t think assaulting and hurting women is funny. I am not one of those standing in line hoping for an interview with you, or an autograph.”

On October 26, a drugged up and naked Sheen – just two months out of rehab for assault charges – trashed his room at the luxury hotel in a frantic bid to find his wallet, watch and cell phone after partying with a porn star, who he had paid $12,000 to be with.

In an interview this week, the Two and a Half Men star declared: “If a guy has one bad night everybody goes insane and panics… I’m not panicking.”

Allred, who has represented two woman linked to cases involving the 45-year-old actor, responded: “What you did in the hotel room seemed not to faze you any more than your past criminal conduct has.”

She continued: “I think about your young daughters. What kind of message are they receiving about violent criminal conduct that men like you are permitted to engage in with little or no consequence?

“What if men did to them what you have done to women?

“You may have a smirk on your face now, but I doubt that you would think that it was funny if your daughters were the victims of criminal acts.”

[From Radar Online]

One thing Allred mentions in her letter is that she represents one of the arresting officers that responded after Charlie’s Christmas day attack of his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller. I remember when this woman spoke to E!, and her story is compelling and reminded me of how serious Charlie’s abuse was.

I agree with Allred’s message that Charlie is an abuser who is acting blase and getting away with it. It’s hard to take her seriously when she holds press conferences with Tiger Woods’ kindergarten teacher and represents various stripper mistresses of Tiger Woods and Jesse James, many of whom try to extort money from their famous lovers.

Gloria Allred slams Hilary Swank over Swank’s new film ‘Conviction’

wenn3047154

Since you enjoyed yesterday’s Hilary Swank fashion post so much, here’s another one – Hilary wore Herve Leger on Tuesday night, to yet another screening of her film, Conviction. Though I don’t really love the dress, I applaud Hilary for somehow making vertical horizontal stripes look interesting and cute and even thinning. Hilary has a fashion problem, though. Her face is so angular, and her body is so tight – if she wears something super-structured, she fails, but if she wears something too loose and flowy, she fails too, I think. Anyway, I don’t hate or love the dress. It’s just there.

Meanwhile, Hilary is making some big news with this film. She just got a gift from publicity heaven – she’s now on Gloria Allred’s sh-tlist. And Ted Casablanca is asking – hand to God – if Hilary is a “thoughtless hag”. I kid you not. Here’s what is going down:

Hilary Swank: two-time Oscar winner…and thoughtless hag? The actress’s reputation is under attack today by none other than Gloria Allred, who is shocked—shocked!—that Swank didn’t even touch base with one of the real-life inspirations for her upcoming film, Conviction.

So what exactly is Allred’s latest beef? Seems Allred’s panties are in a bunch because she believes the actress should have had the courtesy to ring up the family of Katharina Brow, whose grisly killing is at the center of Conviction.

“We don’t think the burden should be on the murder victim’s family members on how to get in touch with Hollywood upon reading the murder victim’s going to be in a film,” said Allred. “The film’s producers, including Ms. Swank [who's listed as an executive producer] have never bothered to contact this family in the 10 years this film was made.”

Allred made the comments at a press conference today, two days before the film hits theaters, flanked by Brow’s son and daughter.

“This family has gone through a lot of pain and there’s no reason to feel they should suffer more,” said Allred. “They’re not going to profit from this film. If we’re talking about a murder we need to reach out to murder victims’ families. As far as I’m concerned that should be the new principle in Hollywood.”

“My mother was not just a name and was not and is not a person who should be used as a line in the script or just a way to make a profit in the entertainment industry,” Melrose Brow added. “She was just a human being and a member of our family.”

Allred says she plans on sending a letter to Swank via her agent (“because that’s the only way we know how to contact her”) on behalf of Brow’s now grown-up children, Charlie and Melrose, demanding a face-to-face meeting.

“They need and deserve to receive answers to many questions they have,” said Allred, adding that she wants the family to get a private screening to avoid having to re-live the incident in a theater surrounded by the popcorn-munching masses.

Specifically, the family wants to know: if their mom’s murder be seen on screen; how will she be depicted (as “the loving mother and grandmother that she was?”) and whether the filmmakers will earmark any of the profits to find the real killer.

While the public has yet to see Conviction, there have been several advanced screenings, so perhaps we here at E! can try and help clear up at least one mystery for the family.

Conviction opens in Brow’s home and we see details of the crime scene, specifically shots of blood, but viewers don’t see the actual slaying. At that point, the movie flashes forward two years to Kenneth Waters (Sam Rockwell), the man wrongly accused of the murder. Swank plays his sister, Betty Anne Waters, who eventually gets a law degree and helps prove her sibling’s innocence.

It’s that story that’s the focus of the movie and not the Brows’ tribulations, though during the end credits, a title card notes that the real killer has yet to be found. So far, reps for Swank and Fox Searchlight, the studio distributing Conviction, have decided not to take Allred’s bait.

[From E! New]

I’m a big believer in “Son of Sam” laws, which are basically laws that ensure that violent criminals cannot in any way profit from their crimes. Like, someone convicted of murder can’t write a book from prison and have it published for profit. However, that doesn’t really seem like the case here – this film is about a man’s wrongful conviction of the murder, not about the murder victim. Maybe Hilary should have met with the victim’s family – but the man who sat in prison for a crime he didn’t commit is a victim too, Ms. Allred. Team Hilary on this one.

Gloria Allred tells Whoopi Goldberg to ‘stop attacking victims’ in open letter

LOS ANGELES, CA - JUNE 18: Attorney Gloria Allred, who is representing Ken Slayton, attends a news conference at her law offices to respond to the Jaycee Dugard family press statement affirming that Ken Slayton is Jaycee's father on June 18, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by David Livingston/Getty Images)

My goodness! Gloria Allred has decided that Whoopi Goldberg needs “The Allred Treatment” and Gloria has just sent Whoopi an open letter. The whole thing seems based on Whoopi’s continuing insistence that Oksana Grigorieva was not and is not a victim of domestic abuse at the hands of Mel Gibson, and includes a partial transcript of Whoopi accosting Radar Online’s editor last week. Here’s the letter from Gloria Allred:

Last week on The View, when you were discussing Oksana Grigorieva’s allegations that Mel Gibson allegedly hit her and their baby, you asked David Perel of RadarOnline.com why Oksana did not go to the police first.

Whoopi: “Did she go to the police?”
David: “No she did not go to the police…”
Whoopi: “Why not?”
David: “Because most victims of domestic violence do not go to the police….they were still together..”
Whoopi: “I’m not buying that…for most victims..why not…If a man hits you, holding your child, and he hit the child according to what she’s saying, so why not go to the police first?”
David: “Absolutely should, but unfortunately it’s not the way it works.”
Whoopi: “I understand that but I don’t believe that, I think it’s BS..I think she was looking for dough.”

Whoopi, the answer is that there are many reasons that women who have been battered do not immediately go to the police.

Sometimes they are in fear that if they notify the police, it will only serve to increase their partner’s anger resulting in placing the victim and her children at even greater risk of harm from the batterer.

Sometimes the reason is that the victims mistakenly believe that they themselves provoked the violence and blame themselves for it rather than the batterer who inflicted the injuries upon them.

Yet another reason is that some women make the mistake of being protective of the batterer’s reputation. They fear that if they report it to the police and there is a prosecution and conviction it may adversely affect the batterer’s business and reputation in the community in a way that could cause significant economic, emotional, and reputational harm to the batterer. For this reason, the victim may be reluctant to “air their dirty laundry in public” since a police report is a public record. They believe that the batterer will never forgive them if they report and will blame the victim for what may be long lasting harm to him which may even include time in jail or prison for the battery, depending on the severity of the injuries inflicted.

Yet another reason is that the victim often rationalizes that the batterer will never repeat the violence, that she can urge him to get professional help and anger management counseling and that if she is successful the violence will stop and they can continue living happily ever after as a family which is what she hopes will happen, even though it almost never does. Sometimes, too, the victim has very little self esteem and thinks that the police, and the system will never believe her or will do nothing if the accused batterer is rich, famous and powerful.

She may also wrongly believe that the batterer has a special relationship and influence with the police that she will never have and that for those reasons he can influence the outcome of any criminal case.

Still other reasons that women do not report include pleas by the batterers to the victims to forgive them and promises by them that it will never happen again. Although the promises are almost never kept, including promises by batterers that they will voluntarily get help, the promises often dissuade women from reporting the violence to the police immediately.

Victims are often in shock after being attacked, particularly where their children have been hurt by the violence as well. Often they need time to think about who they can go to in order to learn the implications of going to the police and learn all of their legal options. In addition, the victims often need counseling themselves, in order to find the courage and strength to report the violence to law enforcement.

Their batterers have often kept them in a state of fear and emotional and economic dependence. In some cases, the batterers have threatened to kill the victim if she reports or have their friends do it. Shock and fear sometimes deter women from immediately reporting.

Economic dependence is also no small thing. Mothers sometimes fear that if they report that their child’s father has battered them, that the batterer will terminate all support, and that they and their child will have nowhere to go and no way to support themselves. The fear that the batterer will retaliate in this way is justified in many cases, because batterers often do react in that way and then force their victims, whom they know have little or no economic resources of their own, to retract what they say or face economic ruin and the prospect of a reduction or total cut off of child support.

It is a harsh reality that batterers often do hire lawyers to make their victims lives miserable, knowing that their victims do not have the economic resources to hire their own lawyers to protect and defend them and their rights. The batterers in many cases would prefer to spend money on lawyers to try to deter and crush their victim, instead of using those funds to support her and their children.

Whoopi, all, none, or just some of these reasons may apply in Oksana’s case. Only Oksana herself knows the true reasons, but what is important here is that I believe no victim of an alleged batterer should ever be blamed for not calling the police immediately.

While I certainly encourage them to do so, they should not be personally attacked because they do not. Life as a victim of violence, particularly where there are children is difficult and complicated enough without being publicly attacked and having their motives questioned because they failed to immediately report to law enforcement.

While it is fair to ask the question regarding why Oksana did not immediately call the police, I think it is unfair to jump to conclusions about why she did not, and immediately assume a nefarious motive and underlying agenda.

Whoopi, as we say in the domestic violence movement, there is no excuse for abuse. To that I will add there is also no excuse for others who do not know all of the facts to join in with a verbal attack on the victim.

Whoopi, I have always admired and enjoyed your talent, your work and your point of view. I know you care deeply about women’s rights and about victims. Your life and your views have been an inspiration to many. Please help us to end violence against women and children by supporting women in these complicated situations in the future. You have a daughter and a granddaughter. We need you on the side of the victims.

With Respect,
Gloria Allred

[Gloria’s open letter, courtesy of Radar]

Alright, just shoot me in the face because I 100% cosign everything Gloria just said. She makes solid point after solid point, and after having worked with domestic abuse issues, I know that Gloria is absolutely on target on this issue. I’m not saying that Whoopi isn’t entitled to her opinions, I’m just saying that IN MY OPINION, Whoopi is an a–hole who needs to stop defending rapists, pedophiles and women-beaters.

Sexual harassment suit against David Boreanaz is sordid and sounds legitimate

Yesterday I was skeptical when reporting the news about an upcoming sexual harassment suit against Bones star David Boreanaz. The alleged victim was to be represented by Gloria Allred, who has taken on several clients looking to get a payday out of the famous married men they were sleeping with. In a statement in May admitting his infidelity, Boreanaz said that a woman he was involved with “asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.” There is also that detail that Allred currently represents two out of the six strippers on the “Girls from the Hottest [Celebrity] Scandals” tour, which also includes an adult entertainment professional, Demi Delia (Gina Rodriguez), who claims to have been Boreanaz’s mistress.

Only now that the details are out about the allegations it doesn’t sound like that’s the scenario at all. Allred held an impromptu press conference outside the courthouse yesterday with her new client, a previously unknown actress called Kristina Hagan. Hagan worked as an extra on the set of Bones, where Boreanaz approached her under the pretense that he could help her with her career. Her claims make Boreanaz sound more like a creepy abusive predator than just the serial cheater we came to know him as. What’s more is that Allred claims to represent another woman who has sexual harassment claims against Boreanaz, and there is another harassment claim filed against him by a different actress (who may or may not be the other woman represented by Allred) with the State of California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

E! Online has a breakdown of one the allegations (below). According to the lawsuit, Boreanaz met Hagan on the set of Bones and took her headshot and contact information with the promise to help her find acting work. He then sent her a barrage of text messages that day, including one with a naked shot of his penis. The lawsuit (available as a PDF on E-Online) details three different occasions in which Boreanaz tried to force himself on Hagan: in his car after offering her a ride following a coffee date, in his car when he came to meet her at her apartment, and in his trailer on set. She claims to have put up with it while under the impression that Boreanaz could get her a role on Bones.

Gloria Allred… filed a lawsuit today on behalf of an actress who claims she was sexually harassed by Boreanaz.

According to Kristina Hagan’s complaint, the 41-year-old Boreanaz approached her after she completed shooting a bit part on his hit Fox drama to ask for her headshots. Then, per the suit, he sent numerous “sexually inappropriate text messages” to her, including a cell-phone pic of—TMI alert!—his penis.

But Boreanaz isn’t going down without a fight.

“The allegations concerning any alleged inappropriate conduct by David Boreanaz are totally fabricated and absurd,” his rep told E! News. “There is no validity to this lawsuit.

According to her filing, on Sept. 9, 2009, Boreanaz offered to give her a ride. He told her he was trying to find the right role for her, and informed her he’s “the boss” who “could make things happen for her,” per court docs.

He allegedly drove Hagan to a park, where, according to the suit, he tried to force himself on her.

“[David] attempted to kiss her and touch her breasts but she pushed him away,” the lawsuit states. “[He then] unzipped his pants, pulled out his penis and began stroking it until he ejaculated.”

The complaint states that he subsequently “pushed himself on top of her, and when he tried to put his hand down her pants and touch her, she pushed him off of her.”

Then, on Sept. 29, he allegedly tried to put the moves on her in his trailer.

After filing the lawsuit, Allred and Hagan briefly addressed reporters and showed a photo of the plaintiff posing with Boreanaz.

“She is an actress who is working toward her goals, but who like many other actresses has not yet been able to achieve them,” said Allred. “For that reason, she is extremely vulnerable as many actresses are in Hollywood.”

Added Hagan: “I have confidence in the justice system and that is why I have decided to file this case.”

Hagan’s IMDb page doesn’t include any credits, but her bio says she attended Catholic school, is a married mother of two and her favorite mottos are “‘good clean fun!” and “we’re human and that’s the beauty of it all!”

[From E! Online]

It sounds more than naive for this woman to even agree to meet Boreanaz for coffee after he send her a photo of his d*ck, not to mention see him twice more after he sexually abused her. However, consider how many times he must have pulled this same very obvious and disgusting act before he found a woman who 1. put up with it hoping he was telling the truth and 2. lawyered up and decided to report it.

So not only is Boreanaz an admitted serial cheater, he’s probably a serial harasser who regularly trolled the Bones lot for victims. If this is true, and especially if (when) other women come out, I hope that Fox seriously considers whether it’s worth the trouble to fend off multiple lawsuits. Maybe his wife will wise up too and realize that all the jewelry in the world isn’t worth it.

David Boreanaz to be sued for sexual harassment by ‘actress’ repped by Gloria Allred
LOS ANGELES, CA - APRIL 02: Attorney Gloria Allred speaks during a press conference at the law offices of attorney Gloria Allred on April 2, 2010 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)

Radar Online reports that Bones star David Boreanaz will be sued for sexual harassment today in a lawsuit that will be filed by celebrity attorney Gloria Allred. Boreanaz has had at least two affairs that we know of – one with Tiger mistress and current Celebrity Rehab contestant Rachel Uchitel and another with a porn star named Demi Delia.

Now normally I would take sexual harassment allegations very seriously. But let’s consider the fact that Back in May, Boreanaz admitted cheating on his wife and said that he was the victim of a mistress trying to extort money from him. TMZ reported that the woman was represented by Gloria Allred but that it wasn’t Rachel Uchitel.

There’s a new stripper/porn star tour featuring mistresses of Tiger Woods, Jesse James and David Boreanaz and two out of the six strippers are currently represented by Gloria Allred. The tour also includes named Boreanaz mistress Demi Delia, and she may just be the “actress” that Allred is representing. This is a delicate subject because in no way would I say that a woman is not entitled to make a sexual harassment claim due to a career in adult entertainment. On the other hand, you have to consider the history of this case and some of the ridiculous antics that Allred has pulled with her clients. Allred’s credibility is questionable, and she’ll go to great lengths to get publicity. I wouldn’t put it past her to twist an affair into a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Here’s some of Radar’s report:

Bones star David Boreanaz, who has been caught in two extramarital affairs, is now being sued for sexual harassment by an actress, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The lawsuit will be filed at 11 am PT Thursday in downtown Los Angeles by powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred. The actress will be with Allred when the papers are filed.

As RadarOnline.com revealed, Boreanaz had an affair with Tiger Woods’ mistress Rachel Uchitel. Earlier this year, Boreanaz admitted to a different affair and said the unnamed woman was trying to extort money from him.

That woman hired Allred. It is not known if she is the woman filing the lawsuit Thursday.

[From Radar Online]

If Allred’s new client has a legitimate claim and is not this Demi Delia mistress, (whose real name is Gina Rodriguez), first of all I would be surprised and secondly the woman is doing herself a disservice by hiring Allred. Allred adds the taint of “pitt bull on a one-sided mission” to everything she does, and has been involved in several cases in which it looked like her clients were trying to squeeze money out of someone. So is it this Gina Rodriguez/Demi Delia character and is Allred just taking the “sexual harassment” angle hoping for a settlement? If this report from Radar is correct, we’ll see at 11:00 am PST.

Gloria Allred on defending mistresses: “Men need to be accountable for their lives”

gloria-allred2

Gloria Allred has an interview and photo shoot in the current Harper’s Bazaar (the one with Katherine Heigl on the cover), and the whole thing is sort of funny. Actually, my first reaction was “This is tragic” but I’ve decided to just laugh about it. For the photo shoot, Allred is wearing some kind of armor, something that I would imagine would cause an instantaneous yeast infection (for which Allred will sue Harper’s Bazaar, and then the suit of armor). For the interview, Allred defends her cadre of hookers, sluts and post-op trannys with a strident, blasé, faux-feminist attitude. Allred’s clients include everyone from Rachel Uchitel (mistress of Tiger Woods and David Boreanaz) to Joslyn James (porn star mistress of Tiger Woods) to random unnamed Charlie Sheen and David Boreanaz mistresses, to a post-op transvestite named Wellington Houston, who claimed he/she was NOT – for the damn record – boning Matt Lauer. The full piece is online here, and here are some of the highlights:

On taking on controversial celebrity scandals: “I’m not an elected official who puts a finger in the wind to see what the majority thinks; I represent women, whether they’re popular or not,” she says. “In the case of Joslyn James, who had an intimate three-year relationship with Tiger Woods, it’s clear to me that he lied to her and broke her heart. I think that he should acknowledge that to her and should apologize, at minimum.”

On representing the alleged mistresses of famous men: “I can make a statement that men need to be accountable for their lives and they’ll suffer the consequences if they’re not.”

On empowering women: “Male privilege and entitlement are dying a very painful death; no one gives up power without a struggle,” she says. “I live in a war zone, and sometimes it can get very ugly behind the scenes. But the good news is that women are fighting back—and they are winning.”

On the media interest in her high-profile cases: “It’s not my fault if the media and the public are more interested in Tiger Woods than in women farm workers.” (In 2008, Allred’s firm won a $1.68 million settlement for a group of female farm workers in a gender-discrimination lawsuit.)

On fighting against discrimination and abuse: “There are endless new variations on how to hurt a woman physically, emotionally, financially, and socially,” she says. “I have a passion for justice, and I’m a warrior for change.”

[From Harper’s Bazaar]

Honestly, I believe Allred when she talks about her cases that are really about gender inequalities, discrimination, harassment, or assault. I think in her mind, by fighting for every woman, no matter the circumstance, she is doing feminist work. Sometimes that is the case – but in my opinion, Allred does her reputation and her legit clients a great disservice when she takes on mistresses who are simply looking for a payday. That’s not discrimination, for a woman like Rachel Uchitel to want a payoff from Tiger Woods. That’s just glorified prostitution – which is fine, bitch wanted to get paid, she got her piece, whatever – just don’t wrap it up with the “feminism” bow.

Matt Lauer’s rumored mistress used to be a dude named Wellington

Alexis Houston Addresses The Press

A few weeks ago, The National Enquirer and Radar made a huge deal about Matt Lauer allegedly splitting with his Dutch wife Annette. To jazz up the story, I included some internet rumors that Lauer was boning Meredith Vieira, although I doubted it at the time. The Enquirer ran another cover about “Matt’s Affairs” that I don’t think we even bothered covering, as it was clear that even if Lauer was or is having problems in his marriage, his wife seems to be sticking by him right now.

In any case, one of Lauer’s alleged mistresses is a lady named Alexis Houston. Page Six claims that Hollyscoop was the first to report that Lauer might have been boning Alexis, but I think it was probably the Enquirer or Radar. Anyway, the rumor existed, and this pissed off Alexis Houston. So she hired Gloria Allred and held a press conference to deny the Lauer affair. And Page Six proceeded to dig up some dirt on Alexis. Like, her name used to be Wellington Houston, and she used to have a penis.

Alexis Houston — the singer who held a press conference last week to announce she never had sex with “Today” show host Matt Lauer — had some interesting yesterdays. She used to be a man who called himself Wellington Houston.

Whitney Houston sued Wellington (whose original name was Stuart) in 1996 because he was claiming to be her cousin. Whitney alleged that Wellington used the false relationship to defraud an elderly New York doctor of $100,000 using credit cards and forged checks, the AP reported at the time.

Wellington resurfaced in 2001 with a demo CD titled “All’s Well.” The Daily Record in Glasgow, Scotland, gushed: “Whitney Houston’s pop crown is under threat — from her own cousin. Wellington Houston, 23, is being hailed as the next big thing in the US. But although Whitney sings on his demo CD, Wellington doesn’t want to cash in on his famous family. He said, ‘All I want from my family are good wishes.’”

According to one source who has known the singer for years, Wellington had sex-change surgery three years ago after a man fell in love with the cross-dressing singer and paid for the operation.

“She told me they got married in Niagara Falls,” said our source, “but they have since separated.”

Alexis’ Web site said she started singing in the choir at the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was 6.

The scurrilous Web site Hollyscoop.com claimed May 13 that Lauer had an affair with Alexis after meeting her on the “Today” show set in 2007.

Last Friday, Alexis held a press conference outside Michael’s on West 55th Street with headline-hogging lawyer Gloria Allred. Speaking with a Madonna-like British accent, Alexis said, “I feel that my privacy and personal space has been invaded.”

Neither Alexis nor Allred would comment yesterday. Michael J. Griffith, a lawyer Alexis has known for years, also refused to comment on Alexis’ past.

[From Page Six]

Now, at this point, this really has nothing to do with Matt Lauer, other then the brief, fleeting thought of Lauer getting his rocks off on a post-op transvestite/woman who used to go by “Wellington Houston”. Which, by the way, is the best fake Whitney-Houston-cousin name ever. The issue is all about this lady’s insanity and drama, and the fact that she’s likely a grifter looking to make some quick cash off the rumors that she probably started in the first place. Why did Gloria Allred take the case?!?

The white dude with Wellington/Alexis is her boyfriend, by the way.
