Kellan Lutz would like to know your thoughts on Kellan Lutz’s casino pit boss look

wenn3153938

Do you remember Kellan Lutz? Kellan Lutz is the dude in the Twilight series that is MORE important than Robert Pattinson. Kellan Lutz is the dude who takes the famewhore game to a new level. Kellan Lutz talks about himself in the third person. Kellan Lutz is a star. Kellan Lutz calls the paparazzi on himself, then wanders around half-naked for no apparent reason. Kellan Lutz IS A STAR! I know that Kellan Lutz is a star because he was invited to a big Las Vegas shindig for New Year’s. Would they invite Kellan Lutz if he was a nobody?

So Kellan Lutz decided to change up his hair, dramatically. Kellan Lutz calls this look his “Kellan Lutz is a bigger star than The Situation” look. Otherwise known as “The Kellan Lutz”. Otherwise known as “the casino pit boss”. Seriously, did Kellan Lutz superglue his hair? It looks stiff as hell.

Thoughts? I didn’t think Kellan Lutz could look worse. But kellan Lutz somehow managed it. Yikes. Also, don’t even get me started on the BAGGY, SHINY PANTS in which there seems to be excess fabric in the crotch! Are they sateen?!? LMAO.

Olivia Munn chops off her hair: cute or not so much?

wenn3153171

Olivia Munn has changed her hair! She used to wear it much longer, but she chopped it off before New Year’s, and she showed off the new cut at some events in Las Vegas over the weekend. I hate to admit this, but I have similar hair to Olivia’s, and I wear my hair now the length that she used to have. I once tried out this shoulder-length cut, and while I enjoyed the simplicity of it, it did not compliment the shape of my face. I don’t think it really compliments Olivia’s face either, but I may be biased.

Because, you see, I’ve never really cared for Olivia Munn. Her “comedy” seems based on being a hot girl in a group of nerds, and I tend to think that if she didn’t pose for photos in her panties, no one would consider her “funny”. Add to that the Justin Timberlake situation – where Olivia Munn and JT fooled around and then she – I mean “sources close to Olivia” – outed JT as a cheater and a player whose game consists of telling randoms and club girls that he and Jessica Biel are over, then changing his story once he slept with them. It’s not that I didn’t appreciate the fact that one of JT’s girls called him out – it’s that Olivia did it as a way to protect her image (she was the wronged woman, you see) and famewhore herself out for her connection to JT.

So… I don’t really care for the hair. But it’s because I don’t like her.

Kim Kardashian’s new hair: the Armenian Bo Derek, or is it just fug?

fp_6414946_kardashian_kim_fpp_00_09

Kim Kardashian changed her hair. Alert the media! Eh. Anyway, these are photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in LA yesterday. Her new hair is… Bo Derek-esque cornrows. Now, I used to think Kim was very pretty – before she seriously jacked her face to the point where she now looks like a cat (kat). But even with her old, pretty face, this hair would not work. At all.

Anyway, it appears that is going to the gym (or coming from the gym) in these photos. You know why? Because when she spent two months in NYC, she didn’t work out at all. And the tabloids made note of it!

After spending two months in New York City to film Kourtney and Kim take Manhattan, Kim returned to Los Angeles 10 pounds heavier. With her hectic schedule, not only did Kim indulge but without a trainer to push her, she also skipped regular workouts. She and Kourtney would “eat nuts and hot dogs from street vendors every day,” Kim tells Life & Style. “It was crazy. We had no time to stop and eat well or even look for healthy food. We just had to grab what we could as we ran past the food carts.”

Since then, she’s been on a mission and in just two weeks, the 5-foot-2 bombshell is back to a size 2! She’s committed to daily workouts with either her long-time trainer, Gunnar Peterson, or what she calls her early-morning “rise and grinds” at Barry’s Bootcamp. “I’m doing vigorous workouts all the time,” Kim told Life & Style at the Borders in Century City, Calif., between signing copies of Kardashian Konfidential. “I work out with Gunnar — mostly weights. Then I do boot camp. I alternate every day. One day trainer, one day boot camp.”

Kim also been eating portion controlled meals from Sunfare, a gourmet-meal delivery service that Britney Spears, Eva Longoria and other celebs also rely on. “It’s the only diet I can stick to,” Kim tells Life & Style. “It makes me eat healthy because the food [breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks] is at my house when I wake up.”

[From Life & Style]

Eh, I still don’t believe she is now or ever was a size two. I’m not criticizing her for being voluptuous, at all. I like her figure. It’s a very lovely, old-fashioned hour-glass figure. But the bitch is not a size two.

Also – bitches, stop bringing your Hermes Birkin bags to the gym! That’s not the place for them!!

Rogaine wants a word with Prince William

wenn2900763

This story is kind of mean, but I enjoyed it anyway. Life & Style spoke to a rep for Rogaine, and apparently the company is trying to field a formal offer to Prince William. So that he won’t look so bald on his wedding day. Ugh, dudes are so dumb. A balding (or totally bald) man who works his lack of hair is so much sexier than a dude who gets all touchy about it. Men and their hairlines… don’t even get me started.

If Prince William ever gets self-conscious about his bald spot, at least one company is waiting in the wings to lend a helping hand.

“We’ve been watching Prince William’s growing bald spot closely for years, and we believe Rogaine can help,” a rep for the company tells Life & Style. “We’d love to send him our new Unscented Men’s Rogaine Foam. William would be the perfect spokesman for Rogaine because whether you’re a prince or an average Joe, hereditary hair loss affects one in four men.”

And Prince William does want to look his best on his wedding day. “When he’s on the altar and the world is looking at the back of his head,” says the rep, “he won’t have to worry about the hair that’s not there.”

[From Life & Style]

I knew a guy who was obsessed with his hair loss – to be fair to the guy, he had a small bald spot very, very early. Like, when he was 19 years old. William too began losing his hair very early. Does he seem concerned about it? I think he does. In some photos, he attempts some kind of royal comb-over deal, but lately his bald spot has been out and about, almost as if William is simply tired of trying to hide it.

Anyway, it’s kind of douche move for Rogaine, right? Poor Will. He should just shave his head – you never know, it might be a really good look for him.

Lourdes Leon really wants to dye her hair “royal blue” now

48651, NEW YORK, NEW YORK - Saturday December 18 2010. Lourdes Leon is seen playing with her hair on her way into the Kabbalah center in New York City. Lourdes recently wrote on her blog that she wants blue hair, but her mother, Madonna, disapproves. Photograph: PacificCoastNews.com

Back in November, The Daily Beast interviewed me (ME!) about Lourdes Leon and whether she was too young to dye her hair (she’s 14 years old). I talked about Miley Cyrus’s cooter, of course, but I ended up coming down on the side of “Lola is fine.” Anyway, in a new blog post (Lola blogs for her Material Girl line at Macy’s), Lola talks about how she’s now “sick” of her dyed black hair, and how she wants to go “royal blue”. Oh, goodness.

It might be hard to believe, but Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes (a.k.a. Lola) Leon, is actually just like any other teenage girl — hello, Harry Potter and Katy Perry. Of course, not every teen already has co-created a junior’s collection for Macy’s this fall, but even she isn’t immune to the style dilemmas of adolescence!

“I don’t know if any of you saw my hair yet but its mad dark right at the moment. I’m almost sick of it and now I want royal blue hair but not a streak, like my entire head,” she muses. “I’m sure if I get that hair color I’ll be sick of it after about two weeks.”

And how does mom Madonna feel about her Lola opening up for all the internet to see?

“I read this blog aloud to my mother and she is sitting here staring at me with no expression on her face, as if she doesn’t approve of it!” she writes. “So now you all know what I have had to put up with for the past 14 years of my life :D

[From People]

Ha, Lola is so funny – “So now you all know what I have had to put up with for the past 14 years of my life”. She’s really going to be a bigger handful than Madonna, isn’t she? Just wait for it. It’s not going to be a Miley Cyrus-type thing either – Lola is going to try to rule the world.

As for the “royal blue” dye – to get her hair to really show up as that color, won’t she have to lighten it first? Lola as a blonde! Imagine.

Cher dons a neon wig: hot mess or always a classic?

fp_6258694_barm_burlesque_london_04_06

Monday night was the big London premiere of Burlesque, the film that got better reviews than The Tourist (for real). Cher decided that her promotional campaign of crotch and nipple flashing wasn’t getting the job done, so she went old school with a giant neon Ronald McDonald/Raggedy Ann wig. I… uh… it’s Cher. It’s not like you can actually say anything about it without it basically boiling down to “It’s Cher. What are you gonna do?”

fp_6258693_barm_burlesque_london_03_06

But I will say that it’s not the best color for her. I will say that I prefer neon loudness on her head to some kind of “Crouching Grandma Vadge, Hidden Nipple Clamp” vibe she was working before, though. I will always choose looking at Cher’s head to anything below the neck. And before you Cher-lovers bash me, let me say: I actually like her too! I think she’s cool. But I don’t want to see her nips.

Maybe for the next promotional swing she should try a wig in blue or purple…? That might actually compliment her skin tone.

One last thing… while Cher was working her wig, this happened:

fp_6258691_barm_burlesque_london_01_06

Jesus, Christina. This really, really bugs me. This is not a girl in a good place, at all, and yet we’re all supposed to pretend “Oh, it’s Christina being Christina, she’s fine.” Does this chick look like she’s in a good place? Really? Of course, when this is the comparison, maybe she’s not doing so badly.

Carey Mulligan’s hair: awkward, funky, or kind-of cute?

DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES - DECEMBER 12: Actress Carey Mulligan attends the Opening Night Gala of The King's Speech during day one of the 7th Annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex on December 12, 2010 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Carey Mulligan is one of my favorite rising stars – she’s really emerged as a contender for decades-long girl-crush potential, like Cate Blanchett or Meryl Streep. She’s talented, she funny, she’s interesting, and she makes interesting career choices. But unlike, say, a Blanchett, Carey’s style is still very questionable. Over the weekend, she did two big public appearances at the Dubai Film Festival. For one appearance, she did this odd hair and a ball gown by Erdem Moralioglu that looks oddly like a Chanel coacktail dress I remember on Blake Lively.

Then, the second appearance… slicked back hair, making her look like a ferret.

Note to Carey: you do not have the face for this hair. I realize that after she chopped off her locks for a very cute and endearing pixie cut, there could potentially be tragedy in the months to come. Here it is – the awkward hair-growing-out stage. The stage where she can’t really do anything with it that doesn’t look like hell.

Emma Stone goes blonde: miss the red, or do blondes have more fun?

fp_6209548_rij_trevor_live_46_79

These are new photos of Emma Stone last night, at the Trevor LIVE event, which was a charity event benefiting The Trevor Project, one of the charities we’ve spotlighted in our charity section. It’s an organization that advocates for suicidal gay teens, and many celebrities work with the group, including prominent spokesman Daniel Radcliffe. Anyway, Emma Stone was one of the big celebrities at the event, and she showed off her new hair – blonde, with bangs trauma. Ugh.

Emma used to a redhead, which I thought was natural (ish), but she told MTV that she’s actually a natural blonde, saying: “My natural hair is blonde, so it’s kind of nice. I looked in the mirror and said, ‘Oh my god, it’s me again! It’s been so long!’” Um, do you buy that she’s a “natural” blonde? I don’t. I bet her natural color is something like a nondescript light brown, and maybe she was blonde when she was a kid. Also, she apparently went blonde for her role in the Spiderman reboot, and she’s playing Gwen Stacy. So… at least it’s for a role, I guess.

So… how do you think Emma looks? I kind of hate it. She looks so “Starter Kit Starlet” now. There were photos of Brittany Snow at this event too, and you can barely tell them apart. I hope Emma goes back to red.

Alicia Keys new fauxhawk: totally hardcore or copying Willow Smith?

NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 01: Singer Alicia Keys attends a screening of Biutiful hosted by the Cinema Society with Miuccia Prada, Sandra Brant & Ingrid Sischy at the Lighthouse Theater on December 1, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images)

Do you know it’s only been six weeks since Alicia Keys gave birth to her little baby boy ‘Gypt? It feels like forever ago. Anyway, Alicia walked the red carpet last night for the film Biutiful (the Javier Bardem film). Alicia decided to forgo her previous incarnation as Cleopatra Keys, and this time aim for the stars with a very high fauxhawk. I kind of like it… well, I prefer it to the Cleopatra look she was doing while pregnant, what with the excessive, cheap-looking face jewelry and headpieces.

You know who Alicia reminds me of in these photos, with this hair? Willow Smith. For real. This fauxhawk style was little Willow’s a few months ago, before Willow dropped it for something trendier. Haha, Alicia is copying style techniques from a kid.

Michelle Williams is sticking with white-blonde hair: tragic or lovely?

NEW YORK, NY - NOVEMBER 30: Director Derek Cianfrance, actresses Michelle Williams and Kate Winslet attend the Private Screening of The Weinstein Company's Blue Valentine Hosted by Kate Winslet at Tribeca Grand Hotel on November 30, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Larry Busacca/Getty Images for The Weinstein Company)

Michelle Williams has progressively been going for a lighter and lighter blonde for months now – and it has reached the point where her hair now just looks white. At first I thought it was merely a styling choice, in an effort perhaps to look more like cream of wheat. And then I wondered if it was just about the roots, because she was playing Marilyn Monroe – maybe there was some tricky wig-or-extensions drama. But that film is done, and Michelle didn’t get rid of the white blonde. If anything, it’s just even more white.

Here are more shots – these photos are from a London screening of Blue Valentine, which Kate Winslet attended. Apparently, she’s a huge fan of Michelle. Nice.
