Hillary Swank and Chad Lowe to renew their vows

We were wrong yesterday when we said that Hillary Swank and Chad Lowe were probably over. Guess they just don’t have photographers following them around everywhere like other celebrities. In Touch reports that the cute couple are renewing their vows:

The magazine cites an insider that claims the estranged lovebirds are close to a full reconciliation and as soon as that happens, they’re going to celebrate their reunion by getting married again.

Their second wedding will be a formal affair and Hilary is already shopping for an elegant bridal gown.

“Getting separated was the best thing Hilary and Chad have ever done for their marriage,” their pal says. “It made them realize that they were meant to be together.”

That is good news and we wish them all the best. Guess those pets were enough to cement their relationship after all. In related news, Mike Myers and his estranged wife also share custody of their dogs.

Hillary Swank to sell perfume

Hillary Swank has signed a three-year contract with fragrance house Guerlain, famous for the old-lady scent Shalimar. The company issued a standard statement praising the actress’ potential to shill perfume:

In making the announcement Monday, Guerlain described the 31-year-old actress, an Oscar winner for her roles in “Million Dollar Baby” and “Boys Don’t Cry,” as a “radiant and natural beauty” who does not conform to stereotypes.

“Her background of always opting for the more challenging and Ã¢â‚¬Ëœrisky’ roles coupled with her warm and genuine personality, a far cry from the usual Hollywood mold, were all factors that made her an obvious choice for Guerlain,” the luxury French fragrance and beauty company said in a statement…

A spokeswoman for the company declined to comment Monday on the terms of the deal or the details of the fragrance.

Things are looking up for Hillary now that she’s back with Chad and has a new gig.
