Renee Zellweger is said to have asked her costar in an upcoming film to take her out to dinner. The article makes it sound like she just wants to sample some of the food and atmosphere in England where they’re filming:

Zellweger and Eccleston starred together in the 1999 film A Price above Rubies, so they met over six years ago actually and it’s not surprising that they’re friends. We hope it turns into something more.

Bruce Willis may have stood up Petra Nemcova at the premiere of V for Vendetta. Nemcova said her “friend” was supposed to attend the premiere but was dissapointed that he did not come. Nemcova and Wilils are said to have spent last weekend together in Atlantic City.

Meanwhile Willis is suing Page Six for reporting that he pestered Nemcova and made a sizeable donation to her tsunami charity in order to get a first date. Maybe he didn’t show up at the premiere for fear of jeaopardizing his lawsuit.

In our first trial of the new Gawker Stalker, which combines Google maps with celebrity sightings sent to Gawker, we found this juicy bit of gossip about Uma’s latest location, poor choice of headwear, and possible reconciliation with her ex, hotelier Andrew Balazs:

Gawker Stalker is clever, but not easy to use. A celebrity’s name and their listed location are both links which launch a new window with a google image search. The sighting report is available by closing the new window to return to Stalker or by clicking the sighting date and time, which are not obvious links. Maybe Gawker hopes to protect celebrities’ privacy with distracting features and bad usability.

Update: Either Gawker has fixed some of the usability issues with Stalker maps or I’m used to it, because it’s easier to use now. The dates no longer link to a google image search and the sighting report is listed beside each celebrity prior to using the map.

British rag “News of the World,” not know for its accuracy, is reporting that Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are back together and that Kate has given Pete the key to her place:

If this is true I would really, really like to see pictures. It seems unlikely since the press follow Moss everywhere and there’s no evidence yet. However, it does explain Doherty’s scrawled message of love to Kate as he left a court appearance in London this week.

Mary-Kate Olsen has reunited with her ex-boyfriend, David Katzenberg. Katzenberg is the son of Dreamwork’s head Jeffrey Katzenberg. They were together for nine months in 2004, and broke up when Olsen dumped Katzenberg for Stavros Niarchos III. Niarchos is now dating Paris Hilton.

According to Sky Showbiz, Katzenberg adores Olsen and plans to propose to her. Olsen may be reluctant to accept, however:

Katzenberg was so crazy about Olsen after they broke up in 2004 that he flew to LA and went to places she hangs out hoping to run into her.

Mary Kate was solo at a party Tom Arnold threw last night in Beverly Hills. Tom was honoring his real estate agent, Stephen Shapiro. (We are assuming that Shapiro is Tom’s real estate agent based on some scant information we found. If we are wrong, please let us know.)

Mariah Carey, 35, holds hands with Pharrell Williams, the successful 32 year-old lead vocalist of NERD, as they leave Paris. Although their relationship looks more than just professional they were shooting “The Say Something” video together a couple days ago. Late last month Mariah was said to be dating NY-based rapper Cam’ron.

Mariah says in the March issue of Marie Claire that the rumors of her 2001 breakdown were false and she was simply overworked:

Mariah must have forgotten that her publicist confirmed that she was “under psychiatric care” at the time.

Pamela Anderson was photographed in London last night with Laurence Hallier, who is supposedly her new boyfriend. Hallier is a real estate developer who owns the recently constructed Panarama Towers overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Leonardo DiCaprio owns a new condo there, and other well-heeled residents will be moving in this summer.

Anderson looks drunk in these pictures and Hallier seems annoyed at her. He may be well off, but he doesn’t look like the rocker or model types she normally dates. We’ll be surprised if we hear much more about it.

Mischa Barton and (ex?) boyfriend, Whitestarr singer Cisco Adler, were photographed together in LA on March 6th. On February 26th, Page Six reported that the two had split, although there was no confirmation or announcement. Mischa was reportedly excited to get Jake Gyllenhaal’s number at the time.

Adler has since defended Mischa in her press-fueled war of the words with Paris Hilton:

There haven’t been any pictures of the two together in a while, and from the looks of these latest paparazzi photos, they could be just friends. For Mischa’s sake, let’s hope she’s moved on. Adler may be chivalrous, but he could definitely use some help in the grooming department. [via]

Jennifer Love Hewitt, 27, is dating Scottish actor Ross McCall, 30. Hewitt has been spotted at several recent events with McCall. The two met when McCall was a guest on an episode of Hewitt’s series “The Ghost Whisperer.” McCall is best known for his work in the HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers.”

George Clooney had an intimate dinner with his ex, hottie Krista Allen, the night before the Oscars. In just the past month, Clooney has been spotted with Renee Zellweger and was supposed to be dating his neighbor Teri Hatcher. Why gossip columns even try to keep up with Clooney’s love life is puzzling. His publicist is funny as usual:

Clearly Hatcher was busy getting ready for the Oscars and Clooney just couldn’t bear to be alone.
