Last night was the big premiere for The Immortals, that 300-looking film with Henry Cavill attempting to look like Gerard Butler. I actually think Cavill is more traditionally handsome than Gerard… but for some reason, I think The Immortals looks totally dumb, while I still think 300 is pretty awesome – is it because of The Butler? The Fassbender? Who knows? Anyway, I don’t really care about any of the dudes at the premiere (Kellan Lutz was there, in all of his Kellan Lutzy glory), so let’s just talk about the girls. Specifically, let’s talk about Freida Pinto in this Antoni Berardi gown.

Now, you know I think Freida is one of the most beautiful girls out there. Her face is magnificent. She has a slender figure that is a great “hanger” for so many styles and designers. I think she probably has a great eye for fashion too. But I kind of hate this dress on her. First of all, it looks like a knockoff of something Alexander McQueen would have done. Second of all, there’s a bridal vibe to it – I think it’s because of the overblown white and all of the bodice work. Thirdly, I dislike Frieda’s too-heavy makeup with this dress. If she had styled it differently, I think I might have liked it more. Still, even though I’m not crazy about this look, she’s so striking and pretty.

I also found Isabel Lucas to be “striking” at the premiere too. But mostly I was struck by how she looks sickly and deathly. She’s lost weight and that blonde makes her look terrible. So rough. I hope she gets some help, both psychologically and sartorially. The awful dress is Roksanda Ilincic, by the way. Hideous.

You may not be familiar with Isabel Lucas. She’s a 26 year-old Australian actress and model with a distinctive boho style. I first heard about her when she was dating Adrien Grenier then Shia Labeouf and you see photos of her at events occasionally. She usually looks radiantly pretty with barely any makeup and is known for wearing some pretty out there getups. She’s a vegetarian, she’s committed to environmental causes (although here she is throwing out a cup – scandal!) and she’s a 60s throwback. When she had chestnut brown hair it just seemed to suit her and she really looked the part.

Now she’s gone blonde for whatever reason. I googled her and she used to be a blonde when she was younger, and she was blonde briefly in 2009, but this look is all wrong for her now.

Here she is at Coachella just a month ago with her boyfriend Angus Stone. He’s an Australian folk singer and together they’re a hippie power couple, if that’s not a contradiction. I wonder if they broke up and that’s why she changed up her hair, or maybe it’s for a role. (Not that she acts in much, no offense.) She would have done better with some highlights rather than an all over yellow blonde. Hopefully she’ll fix it soon.

Everybody and their brother was at Coachella over the weekend, or to quote Michael K from DListed “celebrities from all lists.” We’ve already seen Alex Skarsgard putting up with Kate Bosworth and Dita Von Teese and her French boyfriend looking like they were born Photoshopped and perfectly accessorized. There were plenty more people at the music festival trying to work their casual looks and score some swag.

First off is Vanessa Hudgens barefoot in a ridiculous crochet crop top and cutoffs hunting for a new man. I don’t know who looks more ridiculous, Vanessa or her buddy with the fringe purse and purple fringe boots. That’s the kind of friend who helps enable a look like this.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger were coupled up as they always are. Her pink striped dress needs to be about 3 inches longer. I hope she’s wearing some full coverage panties.

Ashley Greene tried to work a fedora while standing next to a guy who looks enough like Joe Jonas to get people talking.

Isabel Lucas was a hot hippie mess as usual.

Cory Monteith thinks he’s a rock star. I’m just counting down the days until Glee gets canceled and these kids fade into obscurity. He’s relatively harmless though and it’s nice that he’s posing with fans.

Whitney Port is trying to bring back the tied on the side T-shirt. Was that ever in style apart from a few months in the late 80s? Sloppy.

Malin Ackerman. I barely know who she is but this photo cracks me the hell up. Anyone who can look this smug while wearing an outfit that terrible must have some acting ability. Check out her boyfriend. (Update: that’s her husband of 5 years, Roberto Zincone. Thanks Fabianne!)

Kelly Osbourne looks surprisingly well put together and covered up until you scroll down and see her bowling shoes.

Paris Hilton still looks pregnant. Compared to everyone else she’s dressed pretty well. On any other occasion this dress would be a fail though.

Dita Von Teese looking nautically fresh in an outfit we haven’t yet seen. She wipes the floor with everyone else and she knows it. She also has the perfect accessory in that French aristocrat. Bitch even picked a drink that color coordinated with her outfit.

Tallulah Willis turned 17 in February and here she is in a bikini top, smoking a cigarette and showing off a tattoo on her hip. I would say that this could be a case of mistaken identity, but the Willis genes are strong with this one.

Jake Gyllenhaal might like to party, flirt, dance and generally be adorable with what seemed to be a series of Russian hookers, but his heart still belongs to Isabel Lucas, his rumored girlfriend of about two months or so. I hadn’t heard anything about them for a while, so I had begun wondering if perhaps the Jake-Isabel thing was just a quick rebound. Not so, according to Mike Walker’s gossip column in the Enquirer. According to his sources, they are very much hot and heavy:

At one point I thought “Jeez, Jake is such a tight-ass.” But then I thought about it, and I would probably be uncomfortable too if something similar happened. Honestly, I’ve made out (and other stuff) in dank bars, but that was when I was a kid. Jake and I are about the same age – and when you get to a certain age, doing that sh-t in bars or clubs is just gross and cheesy. After this year’s Oscars, some of us began to think that Jake Gyllenhaal’s new girlfriend should be Rachel McAdams. They were co-presenters at the Oscars, and Oprah even scored a joint interview with them where they just seemed… I don’t know, flirty and sweet and perfect for each other. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like that’s happening. The McJakey campaign was born after Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal presented together at the Oscars. Unfortunately there will be no McJakey. Not yet. Because it looks like Jakey is tied up with someone else.

Jake is currently shooting a movie in Montreal called Source Code. Last night he was spotted at Garde Manger and I’m told exclusively that he was “all cuddled up” with Isabel Lucas. She’s the actress from Transformers 2. The one who was with Shia LaBeouf on the night he f-cked up his hand in that accident even though she was supposedly dating Adrian Grenier at the time. She is gorgeous.

Jakey was wearing a white shirt over jeans, apparently even hotter in real life. When he wasn’t wrapped around her, he was trying to get Isabel to dance with him. She seemed shy. And he didn’t seem to be missing Reese at all. Or, for that matter, Rachel.

Interestingly and awkwardly enough, Kirsten Dunst, who is also in Montreal working on a different movie, was also there with a girlfriend sitting on the opposite side of the venue. She spent a lot of time on the phone in the bathroom.

Does this make sense? To me, sure. I’ll buy it. Jake’s a single dude, and he can wrap himself around whoever he wants, and I suspect that this Isabel girl is his type. Now, I know a lot of you think Jake Gyllenhaal is gay. I get it, I really do. There was a time when he beeped on my gaydar – which was also the time when I thought he was much too impossibly vanilla to be of any interest. But time passes and you reevaluate your judgments, and now I’m pretty sure Jake is straight. I also think he’s got an interesting type, and one that should be a welcome relief after witnessing too many douches whose “type” is girls like Bombshell McGee or Peaches Geldof. I think Jake’s type is along these lines: petite, blonde or very fair coloring, and conventionally “nice”. Like, he’s got a thing for really “nice girls” – the kind moms love. Jake thought Kirsten Dunst was a “nice girl” but she wasn’t. He thought Reese was a “nice girl” – which she is, but she still didn’t want to marry him. And now he’s moved on to his new nice girl. Good for him.

In a development that everyone saw coming, Isabel Lucas and Adrian Grenier have split up, following her 3am car crash with Shia LaBeouf.

The pair broke up about three weeks ago, right after the accident that left LaBeouf with a crushed hand. “It wasn’t working out,” says a source. “Adrian saw her with Shia and that was kind of it – the crash, their hanging out. He obviously didn’t appreciate it.”

Lucas, 22, was the passenger in LaBeouf’s car. She was treated for minor bumps and bruises at the hospital and released.

Lucas’s rep confirmed to People that the actress “is single.”

Adrian ‘didn’t appreciate’ his girlfriend hanging out with her co-star at 3am. That seems to be underplaying it a little. While she could have a reasonable explanation for the outing (“I needed a ride home and Shia’s known for being a responsible driver!”) it’s possibly the way the situation was handled that led to the break up. No ones likes to be confronted and challenged about their actions, and that could have led to arguments that ended the relationship, rather than any actual relationship between Isabel Lucas and Shia LaBeouf.

Of course, they could be shagging up a one handed storm right now.

Shia’s pinkie, that was supposedly at risk of amputation, is the only finger on his injured hand not bandaged. Clearly, it is still well attached in these pictures. Possibly it was going to be attached to replace another injured digit (yes, this does happen) but he seems to have a full set. This is great news, although I was slightly curious to see how a missing finger would affect his career. I think he could be excluded from roles because of it. Unless the role is as a pianist, I don’t really think it matters if he has only 9 digits.

Isabel Lucas, the girl by Shia LaBeouf’s side during his car crash at 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, seems to have nothing to say to the press. At least according to her boyfriend, Entourage’s Adrian Grenier. Lucas has done her best to stay out of the spotlight the last few days. She escaped with some head injuries, while LaBeouf had extensive hand surgery. When the press finally caught up with her today, Grenier did all the talking for her.

Transformers star Isabel Lucas stayed mum when asked by photographers Tuesday about being a passenger in Shia LaBeouf’s truck when they crashed early Sunday morning, leading to his DUI arrest.

“She’s okay, we’re good,” boyfriend Adrian Grenier said as he and the actress walked together in L.A.

“This is not the time for an interview,” he added.

Lucas, 23, told the photog: “Thanks for supporting us.”

When asked how LaBeouf, 22, is doing following surgery on his hand Sunday, she nodded.

TMZ has the video of the encounter, in which one of the people asking questions tells Grenier to let Lucas speak for herself. To his credit, he doesn’t respond or react to the guy, even though it would probably piss off a lot of people. Though Lucas isn’t talking to the press, her mother is, and she’s defending her daughter and Shia (by extension). LaBeouf was given a DUI citation (although he did not cause the crash).

So says her mother, who tells the Cairns Post in Oz that her daughter “would not get into the car with someone she thought was drink-driving,” said Beatrice Lucas, using the Britism for DUI. Meanwhile, the mom says Isabel is doing well and is “back at work,” unlike Shia, who could be on the bench for as much as a month because of his busted hand.

That’s a nice and supportive thing to say about your daughter, and I’m guessing it’s true that most sober people wouldn’t get into a car with someone who was obviously intoxicated. But there’s certainly a chance that if LaBeouf was drinking, Lucas might have been as well. Who knows, it’s mere speculation. It certainly is a logical thing for a parent to say that their child wouldn’t knowingly put themselves in danger, or let someone endanger others.

I do find the whole hanging out with a hot guy who’s not your boyfriend at three in the morning to be a little suspicious. And can’t help but wonder what Adrian Grenier thinks about it.

Shia LaBeouf’s passenger in his drunken 3am car crash has been revealed – and she’s none other than his Transformers 2 costar, Isabel Lucas, who also happens to be Adrian Grenier’s girlfriend. Fellow actor Grenier is understandably reluctant to comment on the accident, in which his girlfriend escaped with minor head injuries while Shia underwent “extensive hand surgery” at Cedars Sinai due to damage to his left hand. Shia was taking a left at a light when he was broadsided by another vehicle, flipping his Ford F150 truck over. The person in the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital but sustained only minor injuries. Police said Shia was “visibly intoxicated” at the scene, and he has been charged with a misdemeanor due to the fact that no one was seriously injured.

Who was Shia LeBeouf’s mystery passenger in his weekend DUI crash? Aussie actress Isabel Lucas, his co-star in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” the sequel to last summer’s blockbuster.

Sources say Lucas was riding shotgun with LaBeouf when he made a left turn on a red light and got broadsided in his Ford F150 around 2:45 Sunday morning in Los Angeles.

The actor suffered hand injuries and was arrested for drunk driving. Lucas was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital for “minor head injuries” and later released. A rep for the film said that Lucas is fine and back on set filming.

But the perky blonde is about to have another headache.

We hear her boyfriend Adrian Grenier, who she began dating in February, is none too happy that his ladyfriend was partying with her handsome costar at 3 a.m.

Grenier was testy when we asked him how Lucas was feeling post-crash, and refused to comment.

The two began dating after bonding over environmental issues. Lucas will star in Grenier’s upcoming series “Alter Eco,” which he produced for the cable channel Planet Green.

There was a lot of dumb luck involved in this accident in that Shia was driving a pretty solid car and people escaped relatively unharmed. If anything should take a hit it’s Shia’s rising career – unless he quickly steps up to the plate and admits that he was wrong and takes full responsibility for his actions. Mischa Barton isn’t my favorite actress, but I like the way she handled her DUI by admitting guilt. It’s an idiotic thing to drive drunk and these stars need to grovel to the public afterwards and seem sincere about it. Don’t be arrogant about driving wasted – that’s how you got in that mess in the first place.
