“Ghost Whisperer” star Jennifer Love Hewitt was bound for the altar with actor Ross McCall, but their engagement was suddenly called off back in December. Not long after, Jennifer was spotted getting affectionate with her TV co-star, comedian Jamie Kennedy. The timing of the events has definitely led some to wonder if Jennifer was getting a little something on the side while she was engaged – in fact, Ross himself is wondering if that’s the case.

Only three months after splitting with fiance Ross McCall, Jennifer Love Hewitt has found love again with her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy – and Ross is not happy about it at all!

“Ross feels completely blindsided that Jennifer is already so publicly involved with someone again,” a close friend tells In Touch. “He feels that Jamie always flirted with Jennifer around him, and now he is wondering to his friends if this romance actually began while they were still together. He is very upset.”

While pals claim that Ross, 33, was the one to call off the three-year relationship in January, he is still hurt that she moved on so quickly.

“He thinks this is completely messed up,” a friend said.

But Jamie, 38, hasn’t been shy about hiding his feelings for Jennifer. He told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “I’m in love,” and couldn’t keep his hands off her in a romantic getaway to Mexico in March. “She’s very sexy and a cool chick,” he tells In Touch. And Jennifer is so serious about Jamie that she rushed back to him in LA on March 25 because he was sick with kidney stones.

I get the feeling that Jennifer Love Hewitt doesn’t take very long to get over any man. Someone like her has a whole line of dudes waiting to be her next boyfriend. I don’t know what happened between her and Ross, but he must have known that before he broke up with her. Why would he be surprised now? If there is any lingering question about whether or not Jennifer and Jamie hooked up on-set before she and Ross broke up, it won’t matter soon enough. There’s no way this romance is going to last! I had the misfortune of meeting Jamie one evening after seeing his excruciatingly unfunny stand-up act. He had a gaggle of young skanks following him all around and he was loving every minute of it. Jennifer’s hot – but I doubt he’d give that lifestyle up for long, even for her.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has finally found the man of her dreams in Jamie Kennedy. He loves her “size two and then some” body, and he encourages to eat more. Which is sweet, I’m not making fun. Star reports that after all of the criticism of Jennifer’s body last year, she understandably had weight issues. but now that she’s with Jamie, it’s all good. Jennifer, who split from fiance Ross McCallin December, has previously blasted criticism of her supposedly too-curvy-for-Hollywood bod.

“She’s had weight issues too for years and was self-conscious to the point that it affected her relationships with men,” an insider tells Star. “Jamie prefers women who have a bit of meat on their bones. He makes her feel comfortable in her skin.”

On March 13, days after Star broke the news that the Ghost Whisperer costars were dating, Jamie confirmed the love affair on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and raved, “It’s like ‘Wow, you are so hot…and wow, you can cook pasta fagioli too!’”

For a typical date night, says the insider, “they love to have homemade dinners or go out to fast-food places like Taco Bell,” where they were seen on March 15. “The only thing Jennifer has to worry about with Jamie,” adds the insider, “is getting too skinny!”

Jennifer was never overweight, she just wasn’t a size two like she claimed. The fact that she kept on saying she was a size two was what cracked me up – if she didn’t put so much weight (excuse the pun) on the number, it wouldn’t be so obvious that she herself had “weight issues”. Anyway, it’s good that Jennifer’s found a guy who likes her for who she is and how she naturally looks . It’s always a plus when you’re dating a guy who encourages you to eat.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has not officially announced the end of her relationship with Ross McCall, and the last we heard was that the engagement is off but the relationship is on. Now Star magazine says that not only is the McCall/Hewitt relationship over, she’s dating her co-star Jamie Kennedy.

The actor joined Hewitt to celebrate her 30th birthday last month (Feb09) and America’s Star magazine claims they are now a couple.

A source tells the publication, “Jennifer and Jamie have grown incredibly close since he joined the cast of her show last fall. They hit it off right away, and her feelings for him have only grown stronger.

“She’s trying to keep her relationship with Jamie a secret, telling people they’re just friends, but she can’t hide her true feelings.

“They work together all day and hang out most nights. And when they aren’t together, they’re constantly on the phone… Jamie makes (her) laugh, which she really appreciates after crying over Ross the last few months.”

Star magazine is not the most reliable source, but I think we cans safely assume that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall are done. Not many relationships survive a broken engagement, and these two pushed their wedding date back several times.

On a side note, does anyone remember when Jennifer Love Hewitt decided to just go by the name ‘Love’ in the style of Prince or Madonna? I think that’s back when she was going to be a singer rather than an actress. Her music wasn’t too bad, for the actor-turned-singer genre.
