Last week, we covered the shocking news that Tim Tebow is not only dating someone, but the lucky lady (relatively speaking) just happens to be Camilla Belle, who is best known for dating Joe Jonas for about nine months a few years ago. Joe Jonas, of course, is best known as one of the trio of (semi-musical) brothers who made a huge deal out of wearing purity rings. Of course, Joe Jonas also dated Ashley Greene, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift, and these chicks don’t exactly seem like they’d be down with dating a dude who is using his purity ring for anything other than a publicity stunt. So my question is this … would Joe Jonas, who in 2008-2009 could have commanded the interest of countless young starlets, choose to date a girl who wouldn’t put out over the course of nine months? This is doubtful, but Tim Tebow, who has made no secret of saving himself for marriage, seems to believe that Camilla Belle is indeed a virgin as well. In fact, Tim has allegedly been dating Camilla since this past summer, and he’s so wild about her that he’s already thinking of marriage according to the Enquirer:

Self-proclaimed virgin and football star Tim Tebow is so head over heels for his new girlfriend that he’s already sizing her up for marriage, sources tell The Enquirer. The lucky lady is Camilla Belle, 26, a knockout brunette who shares the 25-year-old quarterback’s conservative views on premarital sex.

“Both say they’re virgins,” an insider divulged. “They’ve been dating secretly since the summer, but they can’t hide their love any longer. Tim is looking for a woman so he can have a proper engagement and church wedding, and he’s told friends that Camilla fits the bill.”

The highly religious twosome — he’s a devout Christian raised by Baptist missionary parents, while she was raised Catholic — were spotted getting affectionate during an Oct. 30 date at Latitude 30, an entertainment center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Tim, who plays for the New York Jets, has been open about what he wants in his wife. In September, he told a reporter: “Obviously looks play a part…but there’s also so much more than that for me. It’s about finding someone sweet and kin — and that has a servant’s heart. It’s about finding a girl who likes me for me, and not because of what I do or who I am or the name.”

Camilla dated singer Joe Jonas for about nine months after starring in one of his band’s music videos, but they ended the relationship in July 2009. Meanwhile, plenty of women — including reality star Kim Kardashian — have made a play for Tebow, but pals say Camilla’s the first to capture his heart.

“Tim calls her ‘the woman of his dreams,’” added the insider. “He’s anxious to make Camilla part of his close-knit family.”

That “servant’s heart” thing freaked me out at first, but then I realized that it’s a popular sentiment within Christianity. Also, I honestly don’t know whether or not Camilla is a virgin, but I think that she (at the very least) must have taken great care to covet such an image by dating one of the “purity ring” brothers. Even if the move wasn’t calculated, she’s certainly benefiting from the Jonas shtick since she managed to land Tim Tebow. It’s not like he’d ever know whether or not she was a virgin if they got married, right? I mean, he’s got no experience down there, so he really wouldn’t notice if anything was amiss. Dude is just going to be so happy to finally get some.

Have I ever mentioned before how predatory Wilmer Valderrama appears to the naked eye? I mean, he’s so notorious that there should really be a show called, “To Catch A Wilmer.” Yet the dude is so crafty and keen to not actually cross that line, so he goes for the barely-legal Disney types. And he might be pretty hard to physically catch given his tendency to be snapped by the paparazzi while out for a run as he was here in Miami in mid December.

Anyway, Wilmer loves to snatch up vulnerable girls when they’re riding high from their respective Disney affiliations but have yet to prove themselves in other career capacities. It’s like a convenient downdraft before the perfect storm of Wilmer manipulation. He famously dated Lindsay Lohan in 2004 right when she started to get into big trouble and ended up randomly hospitalized for “exhaustion” and whatnot. Then he went inactive and undetected for awhile before setting his sights on Demi Lovato and proceeding to screw up her fragile mind. The two have gone a few rounds in the on-again, off- again, baby-come-back ring, and it’s all been such a terrible idea considering Demi is in recovery for an eating disorder and other emotional issues.

Now it appears that Demi and Wilmer may have broken up yet again, if clues from her Twitter are to be believed:

On-the-DL couple Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have parted ways, a source confirms to E! News.

Lovato’s rep has always been—and continues to be—mum on the subject, but we’re hearing that the age gap (she’s 19, he’s 31) just proved uncrossable for the duo.

Meanwhile, though she never officially admitted to dating her longtime friend, Lovato did post a couple of suspect tweets today…

First, she retweeted another girl’s tweet, a Marilyn Monroe quotation reading, “A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.”

Then Lovato added herself, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man.”

News of the split—not to mention the cryptic tweets—comes after Valderrama randomly added Lovato’s ex, Joe Jonas, to his inner circle. The duo spent New Year’s weekend in Vegas partying together, and then the following Saturday night they were both at Beacher’s Madhouse revue in Hollywood, though Jonas made himself scarce once Lovato showed up at around 1:30 a.m.

Valderrama’s shoulder was said to be the one she cried on in the wake of her split from Jonas back in 2010.

Pete isn’t so bad, really. Even if he is a bit douchey, he’s much more worthy of dating than Wilmer. Ugh, Wilmer is just so reprehensible, and now the dude’s gotten his claws into Joe Jonas. The question remains though — will Joe be Wilmer’s next victim?

Demi Lovato did a fashion spread and interview in the September issue of Elle (the one with Gwyneth on the cover) to promote her new “Skyscraper” single as well as discuss some issues about bullying and cutting, which she’s already talked about in the recent past. While Elle‘s stylists have gotten a bit heavy handed with the lipstick in this photoshoot, I do love that red coat in the above photo. In addition, the interview contains a few little gems, which allude to an almost unheard of concept to today’s starlets; that is, personal responsibility:

On Her 2010 Meltdown: When news of her backstage theatrics on tour with the Jonas Brothers got out, the blogosphere dubbed her “Demi Drama.” “I was completely out of line all summer,” she says. “Just the worst attitude–totally ungrateful.” During a flight to Peru, Lovato walked up to her backup dancer, then friend Alex Welch, and socked her in the face. “I just felt like she’d betrayed me,” Lovato says. “That’s the bottom line.”

On Her Moment Of Reckoning: “When you punch someone on a plane, enough is enough,” she ways. “Right after, I texted my mom and just said, ‘I’m sorry.’”

On Why She Lost It: Because she and [Joe] Jonas had broken up, rumors persisted that Lovato went off the rails over his then romance with Twilight star Ashley Greene. She admits that heartbreak was an aggravating factor — she and Jonas have had no contact since — but insists the crisis ran deeper than teen angst. “I wouldn’t credit my meltdown to a guy. On Publicists: In 2008, red-carpet photos showed four fading scabs on Lovato’s left wrist. Before the singer even knew the pictures existed, her PR team had issued a statement that the marks were indents from gummy bracelets. “I don’t think I would have been ready to talk about [my problems] then, but I could’ve come up with something better than gummy bracelets. Needless to say, that publicist is no longer with us.” Pause. “I mean, she’s alive.”

While the tabloids would lead us to believe that Demi is falling back into her partying ways, I think she’s far from the next Lindsay Lohan. The difference between the two girls is quite apparent in that Demi has publicly acknowledged that punching her backup dancer was out of line and completely wrong on her part. In contrast, Lohan would’ve claimed that she didn’t really punch anyone because the paparazzi (on on airplane) would’ve pushed her, thereby causing the loss of balance and an uncontrollably flailing wrist. Then, she’d have sued the backup dancer for not catching her or something. While every screw up in Lohan’s life is the fault of someone else, Demi seems far more lucid about her own shortcomings, and seeing the whole picture is a huge factor in recovery. If only we could just keep Demi from dating creeps like Wilmer Valderrama and Ryan Phillipe, right?

Well isn’t that interesting yet predictable. Just a day after it came out that Joe Jonas, 21, enthused to Details about how well his relationship with Ashley Greene is working out, because she “really puts my feelings first,” we hear that the two are kaput. Greene, 24, seems like a real social climber and I would bet that she was the one who did the dumping. Still, The NY Post claims it was mutual, which is publicist speak for “don’t speculate.”

“Twilight” beauty Ashley Greene and “heartbreaker” Joe Jonas have split, sources exclusively tell Page Six. The couple broke up weeks ago after dating since last summer. “It was mutual and amicable,” a source said, adding they drifted apart because of their work schedules. The Jonas Brothers star gushed about her in Details’ April issue: “I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule.” Greene is filming “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” and will appear in “LOL” with Demi Moore and “Butter” with Jennifer Garner this year. Jonas is to release his first solo album this summer. He previously dated Taylor Swift and Camilla Belle and split with Demi Lovato, earning himself a reputation as a heartbreaker. Greene didn’t seem to be nursing too much of a broken heart when she hung out at Avenue Tuesday night with friends including Jared Followill. A rep for Greene couldn’t be reached. A rep for Jonas declined to comment.

“Weeks ago” means less than three weeks in their case as I was able to find photos of them together on 2/24/11, which is when the photo above was taken. They’d been together almost a year, which is ages when you’re in your early 20s, so it might just have been time for them. If this is true I suspect that Ashley realized that Joe’s star was on the wane and that it was time to move on to someone who would help raise her profile. I predict she’ll be seen out with random actors we’ve vaguely heard of until she lands one that sounds more familiar and stages pap walks with him every week. And in the mean time there will probably be an announcement in People framed to make her sound like a survivor with a promising career. Joe’s people won’t get on this as soon as hers will, because he’s probably hoping it’s not final.

Update: This is now in People, and both reps confirm it’s true that these two have broken up. The story isn’t as pro-Ashley as I was expecting, although I still think she dumped him.

Joe Jonas is the April cover boy for Details Magazine. He’s really butching it up for the photo shoot too – although I think the shoot has one big flaw, and it wasn’t Joe’s fault. Norman Jean Roy photographed Joe outdoors in too-bright sunlight, and thus, Joe has this rather weasely-looking squint going on in really every photo. It’s not a sexy squint, either. And this boy is really trying to be a sex symbol, after long last. One of Joe’s many handlers (I’m just going with what the article says!) claims that Joe’s cropped haircut is “Top Gun-Tom Cruise”. SO BUTCH. And Joe isn’t wearing his purity ring anymore! Oh, Ashley Greene is such a slut! And he’s drinking too! Joe tells the reporter that now that he’s living in his bachelor pad in Hollywood, all he does is go to the gym five times a week (for gym dong?) and go to bars, like the Bowery on Sunset. He also says of his neighborhood, “I like to watch all the crazy characters in the neighborhood. I saw this gay homeless guy that got arrested. The Jonas Brothers aren‘t breaking up: “We’re not breaking up, we’re just taking a break,” Joe says. “I really have a hope for the fans that got older and went, ‘You know what, I’m really not into the Jonas Brothers anymore,’ that I’m able to catch their ear again with my project and they’re able to go, like, ‘Hey, this is cool stuff, I’m happy listening to this, I’m not embarrassed listening to this.’”

“I think all artists have a right to write about what happens to them.” On his album, there will be songs about “different love scenarios that I’ve been through, breakups, hurts. Me hurting somebody and feeling bad about it. I think there’s a lot of scenarios where people might wanna hear my side of the story.”

On his relationship with Ashley: “It feels good. I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule. She’ll fly out to my shows—she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce.” And in January, he visited her in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, while she was shooting the next two installments of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn: Part I and Part II (Greene plays the psychic vampire Alice Cullen). On touring with the band: “We’ve seen every state in America besides Alaska and Hawaii, been all over Europe.” Sure, there have been times when it’s gotten a little weird, rocking out for little girls. “We did some things that were like, ‘Really?, We’re gonna do this? Like, go and play for an elementary school, are you serious?’ At the time I was like 17, I wanna go meet girls at high schools.’ And now I’m 21. I wanna go play my music in a club.”

On Danielle Deleasa, Kevin’s wife: “Actually, I hit on her first. And after that she and Kevin hit it off, of course. Now we have a fourth person traveling with us everywhere, so that’s a different thing completely.”

Joe on his exes, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift: He’s dated the troubled Disney star Demi Lovato (“I wish her the best”) and the actress Camilla Belle. Taylor Swift was so bitter after their breakup that she wrote a song about it (“Forever & Always”) and went on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, in 2008, to complain that Joe had dumped her in a phone call that lasted 27 seconds. Joe countered by saying that it was Swift who had hung up on him. Now he says, “I think all artists have a right to write about what happens to them. But,” he adds with a smile, “I have a right to write about things too.” He won’t say whether his album will contain a Swift rebuttal—just that there will be songs about “different love scenarios that I’ve been through, breakups, hurts. He got the idea from his fans. The video of his performance got more than 25 million hits on YouTube.

Having his heart broken: But he really did have his heart broken; it was about two years ago, and the young woman was someone in the entertainment world. “I won’t say her name,” Joe says. “But I was in a relationship, and we tried to work things out, and she, you know—I was really upset because she—she broke up with me.” A sadness lingers in his voice.

Okay, now that I’ve read the whole thing, I like Joe a little bit more. He should be allowed to grow up and mature, although I would like him to seriously address all of the purity ring stuff in detail, and how he feels about it now. I also like that he wasn’t afraid of addressing the gay rumors head on, although the boy still beeps on my gaydar. I guess that’s Ashley’s problem, not mine, though. Oooh, and now I can’t wait for Joe Jonas to talk smack about Taylor Swift!! That is going to be awesome.

Outlets have more details of what may have prompted Demi Lovato to cancel her European tour with the Jonas Brothers and seek treatment/rehab after some kind of altercation with a backup dancer. Apparently it all went down in an airport and there are witnesses to the fight, along with news that Demi was also talking smack to Twilight star Ashley Greene, who happens to be dating Demi’s ex, Joe Jonas. Drama! Ashley subsequently tweeted some crap about “karma” and came across like she was gloating and being petty, which seems typical for her.

A source tells E! News that Demi Lovato has struggled with bulimia, and it is among one of her emotional and physical issues. Two years ago, photos surfaced of her with suspicious marks on her wrist while she attended Miley Cyrus’ birthday party. At the time, her rep tried to shoot down the notion that it was self-mutilation, blaming it on candy jewelry…

But family sources say Lovato has indeed cut herself in the past.

However, things came to a breaking point in recent months.

“On tour [this summer] they were calling her ‘Demi Drama,’ another insider with the Lovato-JoBros tour tells E! News.

“After she split with Joe, it was just a whole bunch of drama, very awkward. Everyone tried to be professional, but you could tell it was wearing down Demi. It was a taboo subject to bring up, but clearly she wasn’t over Joe.

“The [Jonas] boys got a break after the tour, but Demi went a nonstop promo campaign for Camp Rock 2 and was pushing the single for that movie. It really was too much ask of a girl that young. She just couldn’t handle it.”

“I think Demi has a lot of issues she is dealing with, but at the source of them all is a great deal of stress.”

But another source says there was even more to her weekend meltdown that saw her shut down her Twitter account and leave the JoBros tour in the middle of its South American swing.

At the airport in Peru on Saturday, Demi got into a scuffle with a backup dancer.

“She just lost it right at the airport in front of everyone,” says the source. “The [Jonases'] dad basically said right there, ‘That’s it. You’re going home.’ ”

Demi also made verbal threats to Joe’s new squeeze, Ashley Greene, who was at the airport as well and witnessed her meltdown, the source says.

Indeed, according to a someone close to the Lovato family, the airport altercation was the “catalyst” to Lovato deciding to “take responsibility” for her actions

HollywoodLife has a whole speculative story about how Joe carrying on with Ashley in public could have sent Demi over the edge. E! Online’s Ted Casbalanca agrees with that theory, and writes that Demi “never got over the split with Joe and was hurt by how fast he moved on.” When Joe and Demi were dating they tried to hide it but Joe has been seen all over the place with Ashley and I wouldn’t put it past her to be calling the paps. There have been stories about how Joe is supposedly jealous of Ashley’s Twilight kissing scenes, and Kaiser thinks Ashley is leaking those stories.

Meanwhile Demi’s dad told Radar that the pressures of Hollywood got to her, but it sounds like he hasn’t seen much of his daughter since he split with her mom when she was little. There was a blind item recently that many of you mentioned about a teen star doing coke and having sex at a party. It could have been Demi, it could have been someone else or it could have been made up. I don’t put much stock in those blind items. I can buy that Demi freaked out and scuffled with some girl and shouted something at Ashley. She’s 18 years old and sounds really troubled. Hopefully rehab/treatment will help her.

Ordinarily, I don’t care about any of the Jonas boys, but this little piece of schadenfreude was too good to pass up. According to Life & Style (and photo evidence), Joe Jonas’ purity ring is off. Joe has been dating Ashley Greene for several months, ever since he and Demi Lovato split. To be fair to Joe, I don’t think it’s nice to be all “Hahaha, you’re having sex you f-cking hypocrite.” He was just a kid when he did the purity ring stuff – and yes, he was sanctimonious about it, but whatever. You can’t stay in DisneyWorld forever, you know? At some point you have to actually look at a vagina and, like, touch it and everything. And better this Ashley “Yes, I Hit That Sh-t” Greene girl than someone pure!

Is Disney’s favorite heartthrob pure no more?

Life & Style’s Scene Queens can reveal that Joe Jonas, who’s been dating Twilight star Ashley Greene since July, is no longer wearing his purity ring. The silver band “promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage,” Joe has said.

Ashley and Joe have spotted together all over this summer: from kissing in Newark, NJ to grabbing coffee together in LA. While Joe has been linked to other Disney cuties Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, Ashley’s been seen with Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill, Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and actor Ian Somerhalder. But the forecast looks good for this duo: “When they’re not traveling, they’re basically living together,” a friend of the couple tells the Scene Queens.

I also tend to think that maybe Joe isn’t wearing his purity ring lately because it clashes with his outfits. In the end, though, it’s his business, and I’m glad he’s getting laid. Poor Ashley, though. You know it sucks for her.

Ashley Greene plays the willowy psychic vampire who sports a pixie cut in the Twilight series. She’s moderately famous and has earned a few magazine covers. She’s not really on my radar but I vaguely remember that she dated Chase Crawford briefly, had a series of nude photos that conveniently leaked and starred in an ad for Sobe water wearing only bodypaint. Now that Ashley, 23, has reportedly been dating the oldest middle Jonas brother, Joe, 20, she’s sure to get a lot more tabloid coverage. I can’t claim to have much insight into this girl’s psyche, but Joe doesn’t seem like her type to me. Here’s OK!’s report on their date in London:

He may have walked the red carpet with Nikki Reed at the Eclipse UK premiere, but Joe Jonas is getting cozy with another on-screen vampire — Ashley Greene! The hot young Hollywood duo have been spotted out together in London, a source tells OK! exclusively.

“Ashley brought Joe to the Kings of Leon concert in London, and there was definitely something going on, but it’s not serious,” a source tells OK!. “They went backstage and she was talking to the band a lot, and he was just hanging out.”

While there may be only some sparks flying between the pair, Joe, 20, seems very into Ashley, 23.

“I think he wants it to be more than she does right now,” the source adds. “She’s a maneater.”

I get the impression that Ashley knows just what to do to get our attention. Maybe I’m being too much of a cynic though and she went on a friendly date with Joe. It doesn’t matter if he’s not her typical date (as if I would know) – the guy is a famous music star with plenty of cash. A lot of women would find him irresistible. He also seems to have a thing for young starlets, having dated Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Camilla Belle. Ashley better not fall too hard for Joe, though. His M.O. is dumping women over the phone.

It’s no secret that I don’t really care for any of the Jonas brothers. I find them on the friendly side of creepy. The one who got married – Kevin, I guess – isn’t that bad, but the two single Jonas brothers bug me. Nick dated Miley Cyrus on and off for a while, and I believe that relationship was a harbinger of doom for Miley. As for Joe… well, I’m pretty sure Joe is a tool. He dated Taylor Swift until he dumped her by phone, then immediately started dating Camilla Belle. They went out for a while until she went off to look for greener (less gay) pastures, and now he’s doing this on-and-off thing with little Demi Lovato. Demi and Joe allegedly broke up towards the end of May (and he might have done it over the phone again) – but they still let this Teen Vogue photo shoot happen.

My guess for why the photo shoot went ahead? Because Joe has more pull, and he decided that a photo shoot in which he looked pretty and Demi looked awful was okay. Because this is really terrible what they did to her – she’s a pretty little thing, but next to Joe’s foundation and plucked eyebrows, she looks like a mess. Who styled this shoot?

Also – I’ve never noticed it before, but she has a very “budget Camilla Belle” look to her, right? Yikes.

You know who sounds like a major tool? Joe Jonas. This little pipsqueak dumped his girlfriend Taylor Swift back in November 2008 – by phone. He didn’t have the balls to dump her to her face. And after he dumped her by phone, he let her find out in the press that he started dating Camilla Belle two seconds later. Well, no one really knows how Camilla and Joe split up (I have a few guesses), but at some point, Joe began dating little Demi Lovato. I basically know Demi for two reasons: she used to date that kid who looks like the love child of Joey Ramone and a goat, Trace Cyrus (Miley’s older brother), and because Demi is maybe/probably a self-cutter. Are those two factoids connected? Probably. Anyway, according to Us Weekly, Joe and Demi only acknowledged they were dating back in March – and now a source is not only saying that Demi and Joe have split, but that Joe did the phone-dump again. A–hole. Oh, People Mag is confirming the split, so it did happen. Now we just need to know how it happened.

After just a few months of dating, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato have called it quits, a source confirms to UsMagazine.com. Adding insult to injury: Jonas dumped Lovato over the phone. “He didn’t have the heart to do it in person,” the source explains. And it’s not the first time Jonas has ended things that way: back in November 2008, his ex Taylor Swift admitted he dumped her during a “27 second” phone call a month before.

Lovato, 17, met Jonas, 20, in 2007 on the set of Disney channel series Camp Rock. The pair finally acknowledged their romance in a March radio interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.

Just last week, Lovato gushed to Us that Jonas was “my first serious relationship…He knows me better than I know myself, and I know him better than he knows himself.”

The source close to the pair explains that Jonas “thought it wasn’t a good idea for them to be dating and working together all time and was afraid it was ruining the friendship.”

The former couple will still have to deal with one another this summer: they’re set to tour together this summer.

Why is Joe Jonas the bee’s knees, by the way? I wouldn’t think any of the Jonas boys would be catnip to women (except for their Mommy), and since we know the two unmarried brothers aren’t having sex, what’s the appeal? Honestly, though, I fear we’ll now have another round of Demi-is-cutting stories. They seem to appear whenever she’s just been through a breakup.

UPDATE: Us Weekly got a statement from Joe Jonas regarding the breakup. He said: “Demi and I knew going into our romantic relationship that it may not be an easy one. I realize over the time we have shared together that I feel I care more about our friendship right now. It was my choice to breakup, but I love her as a friend. She’s been there for me when I needed her. I will continue to be her friend and be there for her.” Meanwhile, Demi denied that it happened over the phone, tweeting: “There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. Joe and I did split, but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends.”
