I’m just posting these so I can make fun of Kate Gosselin’s ridiculous outfit. It’s like she thinks we’re all magpies and she can distract us from her face by wearing that shiny short dress. You know she thinks she looks hot in that number with her boltons standing at attention and her fake hair blown out. At least she didn’t pair it with lucite stripper heels. She probably considers this look sexy but demure. Extra! hasn’t posted their fascinating Kate Gosselin interview yet so we don’t know what she was promoting, but she does have a job as a coupon website spokesperson and we just heard that she’s hosting a cruise. It’s a really bad time for that. The spokesperson for Royal Caribbean claims that the tickets for the one week western Caribbean Cruise, which takes place in August, have been selling well and they’ve been “getting a lot of enquiries about singles” hoping to attend. That sounds like hype from Kate’s camp. Tickets sell for $1,900 to $5,500 a person, which seems steep for that type of cruise. If you take that exact same cruise without the Kate Gosselin option it’s hundreds cheaper of course.

Along those same lines is this new story from the Enquirer claiming that Kate is hoping to find a “sugar daddy” on that cruise. She probably wants to find someone who will put up with her whom she doesn’t have to pay:

While she desparately needs the paycheck, sources say her true motive for taking the job is to meet a man, preferably one with money.

“Kate’s plan is to hook up with as many halfway decent men as she can sink her claws into during the seven-day voyage,” revealed a source.

And according to another insider, she’s keeping her options open.

“Kate’s being open-minded about who she may meet. But she’d love to find some deep-pocketed sugar daddy types – even an old geezer – because they can hire nannies to keep up with her brood!”

Good luck with that. Obviously the bodyguard she’s sleeping with is still around so her money must not have dried up yet. I guess we’ll know if she’s serious about landing a new man if she shows up to the cruise without him. Also whatever she did to her face seems to have settled enough for her bitchface to come out again, not that it ever really went away.

Kate Gosselin was looking stretched, pulled and buffed at the Vegas marathon over the weekend. She recently denied getting a face lift (just like she denied getting a boob job) but I think it’s clear from the before and after shots that she’s either lying or stretching the truth to suit her purposes. She may have lost weight and that’s making her face look different although there’s definitely something different about her eyes. Also, she is not very attractive without makeup. Kate Gosselin ran her first marathon Sunday, a grueling 26.2 mile trek through Sin City in the Zappos.com Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

The determined reality star wore a black shirt that read “Finishing Is Winning,” and spandex tights for the event that attracted more than 44,000 runners for two races — a full (26.2 mile) and half (13-mile) course.

Before posing for pics — including a shot with a pair of showgirls — the 36-year-old beauty took to Twitter to share some of her strategies toward keeping energized for the grueling trek.

“Eating lunch… Tiny blueberry scone, apple bran muffin and mac&cheese. Hoping for fuel from these fine carby foods! ,” the athletic mother-of-eight tweeted to her 65,000+ followers Sunday, adding her “kids are having a marathon party at home while I’m actually running it.”

Oh poor Kate, she’s running a marathon while her kids are partying. I would have been more impressed if she would have managed to stay home with them for three hours instead of barking orders for 20 minutes before leaving to go get a manipedi and a spray tan.

She’s probably one of the only people who got paid to run, considering how many photos there are of her beforehand. Angie Everhart was the other big name there, so that tells you something. Oh and Kate’s bodyguard boyfriend, Steve Neild was there too, but there’s no word whether he ran too. I wonder if it was Steve’s idea for Kate to mess with her face. He’s the one who is said to have told her to get a boob job. Once her money starts running out is he going to stick around?

Mothers of daughters – would you ever, in any universe, want your daughters to turn out at all like the Kardashian girls? Even with all the cash and luxury goods that go along with that, we’re talking vapid, baby-voiced, narcissistic plastic surgery victims. Maybe Khloe is a semi-decent person and Kourtney is tolerable, but Kim? I mean, even though these women were adults when they entered into this reality show, fame for fame’s sake career path, they changed into warped versions of themselves. And even if you argue that only Kim changed significantly, she’s enough of a cautionary tale about entering into show business without having any discernible talent to trade on.

Well Kate Gosselin doesn’t seem to care. She sees all the wonderful things that fame has brought her – like a new face, a married paid-for boyfriend, a huge house and lots of stuff, and she wants that for her daughters. Anything else, like an education or a normal life outside of the spotlight, would be “mediocre.” Kate has reportedly reached out to pimp mama Kris Jenner for help on “how to turn the Gosselin kids into a money-making machine” like the Kardashians. We’ve seen where that train is getting off and it’s not pretty.

I believe this. Kate is desperate for some kind of career and she’s probably reaching out to Kris as a last ditch lifeline. Kris’ empire is crumbling though, and she’s not going to be able to help her at all. E! knows that they can’t continue to build their schedule around this family and they see the writing on the wall. The Gosselins are even older news than the Kardashians. Kate should accept her fate as a spokesperson for CouponCabin.

You remember how Kate’s new face was a minor topic last week? US Weekly speculated that Kate had a face lift, while Radar got a plastic surgeon who guessed that she’d had a new-fangled treatment involving fat transfers to the face. A Beverly Hills plastic surgeon named Ashkan Ghavami told Radar: “She will have had it injected into fat pockets in her face to get the lines filled and plump up the skin. If it’s not done precisely it can make you look slightly wide and distorted, which is what has happened to Kate.” So all of you who commented that her face looked smooshed were right. Kate just penned a very brief blog entry for CouponCabin denying that she’s had a face lift. Of course she didn’t mention anything about getting any other treatments at all.

US Magazine has a photo montage of Kate Gosselin through the years along with some speculation from a plastic surgeon that Kate had a facelift at the ripe old age of 36. Many of you noticed how totally different her face looked in those photos of her “working” at her new job at CouponCabin.com. As an aside, I want to mention that Kate went off to Australia with her paid help boyfriend, the married bodyguard, just a few days after that press release which suggested she got a 9 to 5 job. Can you imagine a mid level employee at a regular office job like that taking off for vacation just a few days after they started? They would get canned pronto. Anyway Kate got a new face to go with that new job she occasionally shows up for.

Has Kate Gosselin gone under the knife — again?

When the former reality star recently reported for her first day as a CouponCabin.com blogger, she revealed a new face to go with her new gig. And it’s not the first time the formerly full-figured brunette has freshened up.

“She’s consumed with her appearance,” a source says of Gosselin, 36, whose TLC reality show Kate Plus 8 was canceled in August.

To keep her youthful appearance, the single mom of eight — who got a tummy tuck in 2007 and breast implants in 2009 — relies on thrice-weekly tanning sessions. Last June, she even gave herself Botox injections! (The result: unnaturally arched eyebrows.)

New York City plastic surgeon Jon Turk tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on sale Monday) that based on recent photos, it looks like Gosselin’s gone more extreme this time: A defined jawline and changed eye shape “suggest a facelift.”

I don’t know if this bitch got a whole facelift. I’m thinking she had a “liquid facelift,” or extensive Botox and Restylane. Remember how different Jill Zarin looked after hers? Zarin claimed it was all ‘tox and fillers, although it’s possible she had a ton of work done and lied about it too. Kate could have had a couple of minor procedures to change the shape and look of her face as well, particularly buccal fat pad removal, where the fat is sucked out from the cheeks, and an eye lift. I wouldn’t put it past her to get a total face lift after Kate Plus 8 got canned, though. The sad thing is, she looks a lot better now. I would prefer it if she looked like a plastic freak, to be honest.

Remember when Kate Gosselin went on the Today Show and dissed the fact that her ex, Jon Gosselin, had been working a regular 9 to 5 for over a year? She said “Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids and working a regular job and I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities, not unlike every parent. I think that to be a good parent is to work as hard as you can and give them the best opportunities in life.” So to Kate Gosellin a real job equals mediocre. How is she going to explain the fact that she just took a “regular” job as a coupon blogger for a company called Coupon Cabin? I’m sure she got a nice six figure salary in exchange for the minimal amount of work she has to do and all the publicity she’s getting for the company. There are probably over a hundred moms who currently run coupon blogs and would do a much better job for a fraction of the cost.

In a just-released video clip from the Indiana-based company, Gosselin is shown settling in with the crew by brainstorming money-saving ideas for her first blog post on Nov. 22.

The 36-year-old mother of eight is also seen taking photos with coworkers—as well as a portrait for the office walls—and learning how to navigate a computer.

“Another day, another city! I love my job!” Gosselin tweeted yesterday. “Coupons and saving excite me!! Yay!!!”

Well at least she got a job and it’s not on TV and she’s not pimping out her kids, for now. I clip coupons. I don’t go crazy with it and I try to only use them when it’s something I already buy and the coupon makes the item cheaper than the store brand. For brands I’m loyal to, like haircare products and some makeup, you can save quite a bit with coupons and that makes it worth it. If you’re spending hours tracking down the best bargains it kind of defeats the purpose. Also, if you ever buy anything online just search on the name of the site you’re buying on plus the word “coupons.” I pretty much do that before I buy anything.

Oh and since it’s Veteran’s Day I just learned that you can donate expired coupons to military families since they can use them on military bases for six months after they expire. That’s nice!

Getting back to Kate Gosselin, I’m sure she’ll soon alienate just about everyone she works with. Remember how fed up her dance partner, Tony Dovoloni, was with her on Dancing With The Stars? It was pretty clear from his statements after working with her that he basically couldn’t stand her. This is a last ditch effort for Kate after she was tried to pitch shows to multiple networks and failed. It’s still not “mediocre” enough for my taste though. That would involve Kate doing dirty, smelly manual labor.

Jon Gosselin has responded to the fact that one of the longterm editors of his kids’ reality show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” was arrested last month and charged with 10 counts of “sex exploit of minor (3rd) 14-1.” According to Radar, that means the film editor “possessed material that contained a visual representation of a minor engaging in sexual activity.”

TLC was quick to issue a statement that the man was a subcontractor through another company, that he was never in contact with the Gosselin children, and that he’s been fired. Jon Gosselin tells Star [via Radar] that he’s met this man a few times, though, and that he’s considering legal action against TLC. I don’t blame him. This is despicable. Plus TLC had Jon up against a legal wall when he tried to get out of his contract and do media appearances, and now he’s got a legitimate reason to sue them. Jon told Star that the alleged pedophile had access to all the raw footage of his children that was filmed, including potty training, showers, etc. He’s in contact with authorities to see if any unaired private footage was potentially distributed by this creep. As a mom, Jon’s response makes a lot of sense to me and sounds completely reasonable and even restrained. Here’s more:

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, William Blankinship was arrested on October 21 on 10 counts of sexually exploiting a minor, and now the reality show dad told Star in an exclusive interview that he is sickened by the news.

“My first thought when I heard this was, ‘Oh my God!’” Jon said. “I’m sure everyone working on the show is shocked and never expected something like this.”

The father of eight, who met Blankinship several times, said he is distressed about the access the film editor had to raw footage of the kids he shares custody of with their mother, Kate Gosselin.

“I have contacted an attorney and I’m trying to gather all the information from the authorities in North Carolina to see if there is any evidence he has footage of our family or if he has distributed it.”

Gosselin said he has not discussed his concerns with his ex-wife, but plans to contact her about the situation. “I will write her an email because I feel this is going to explode, because it is so bad,” Jon told Star.

For now though, Jon said he is primarily concerned about footage Blankinship might have seen. “Of course we filmed potty training…Any parent would be freaked out by this, because the cameraman definitely shot the kids getting ready for bed, being showered and being changed.”

It’s so telling that Jon is the one speaking out about this, not Kate. I’m not saying that Kate necessarily doesn’t give a crap, just that she’s not going to say anything about it because she’s prepping her kids for a long career in show business. She has a lifestyle to support and getting worried about some creep ogling at her kids is not on her agenda.

You knew that Kate Gosselin wasn’t about to go back to being a nurse after the reality show money dried up. She’s made it clear that she wants to continue to make a sweet and easy living on the backs of her eight kids. Kate is getting her kids acting and singing lessons, according to the National Enquirer, and she wants to move to Los Angeles to make sure that they have more opportunities for show business careers. The Enquirer usually has solid sources in the Gosselin camp, and we all know how much Jon likes to blab. I would bet this is true, that Jon is livid about it, and that if Kate wants to do this she will and she’ll get some custody judge to sign off on it. She’s going to have to downsize her lifestyle while she tries to prep her little moneymakers, though, and I doubt that’s possible for her. Here’s more:

I don’t doubt this story at all. Kate will put Courtney Stodden and Lindsay Lohan’s momagers to shame. She’ll mess up her kids more than any momager that came before her. At least she’ll be paying attention to them for a little while as she tries to train them up, though. Mommy needs some new hair extensions and money to pay her married boyfriend to stick around. It’s not like anyone is going to hire her, so she has to pimp out her kids.

We’ve heard that Kate Gosselin was pitching a dating show after TLC cancelled her long-running family reality show, and that she’s so overextended she’s worried that she’ll “end up on welfare.” Kate has been on a form of welfare for the past six years, and is dependent on the public’s good will to keep making obscene money for all expenses paid trips with her kids. Since she’s managed to squander all of that with her attitude of entitlement, she’s now scrambling to keep the cash and fame flowing. In an interview on the Today Show earlier this month, Kate confirmed that she hopes to stay on television. “I think at this point the best opportunity for all of us would be me continuing in TV as a way to provide for my kids.” She also put down her ex husband Jon Gosselin’s 9-5 job installing solar panels. “It’s a situation where Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids and working a regular job and I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities, not unlike every parent.” So, according to Kate, most of us live “mediocre” lives by working regular jobs to support our families. Given Kate’s opinion, I’ll take this opportunity to mock her for being unable to land a “non-mediocre” cush job on television ever again.

Although Kate Gosselin told me she would do whatever she had to in order to support her children following the cancellation of her fame-making show, the mom of eight is finding out that it’s easier said than done. Gosselin, who told me that her first choice would be to stay in television, isn’t getting the job response she had hoped for.

“She has approached many different networks, including pitching a travel show idea to her old network, TLC, but so far no one has said yes,” an insider tells me. “She assumed that given her fame, producers and networks would be knocking her over with job offers and is, to say the least, very surprised that she hasn’t received a single one.”

TLC officially confirmed that “Kate Plus 8″ had been cancelled after its ratings continued to drop and the show became more and more expensive to produce when they added traveling the globe to the series. At the time, Gosselin told me she had never earned the amount of money people assumed she was receiving and made it very clear that she wasn’t set for life.

“Like many reality stars Kate is in a very difficult position,” a reality show casting director tells me. “Who wants to go back to a real day job after being paid to work three or four months a year. Everyone I have ever met on a reality show thinks it will never end. They quit their day jobs and assume they will become rich and famous. They do become infamous [but] — with the exception of Bethenny Frankel — they never become rich. Plus, who is going to hire them for a real job after they have made a fool out of themselves on TV?”

Kate is going the way of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, except she’s old enough to have no excuse for not planning for this, and for assuming that the public would continue to support her outlandish lifestyle.

Does reality television help create these type of narcissistic famewhores, or are these just the people who are drawn to reality television? Kate has surely changed over the years due to her television show, but it’s not like she would have been a nice, normal person without the cameras. She would have confined her nastiness to her family and community, and she would have had to make due with less resources. It looks like that’s about to happen for her anyway, and she’s going into it kicking and screaming.

Star Magazine is reporting that Kate Gosselin is desperate to cling to fame, which is entirely supported by everything she’s done and everything she’s said about wanting to stay on television. They also claim that she’s pitching a dating show to networks “about her romantic life.” She must mean her romantic life where desperate famewhore guys date her for some camera time, barely tolerating her presence, while she continues to screw the married bodyguard, the guy she’s been dating for the past two and a half years. That’s never going to happen, no one is going to give her a reality show at this point, but I could be wrong. It would make for good television to mock in brief segments on “The Soup” at least.

“[Kate has] found it very difficult to get over the fact her show was canceled and her fame will soon fizzle out,” says a source.

But the divorced mom of eight isn’t accepting her fate without a fight. “She is hoping for another show,” reveals the source, and not one that focuses on family. “She wants it to deal with dating…”

[Kate]… has set her sights on finding a new man. And she’s persistently pitching ideas for a show about her romantic life to networks “just to get back on television,” the source explains.

No one is going to bite. Kate is just too unlikable a person at this point and her “fan base” consists of people who are interested in her adorable children, not her.

Meanwhile last week’s National Enquirer reported that Kate is so worried about money now that she’s afraid she’ll “end up on welfare and food stamps.” She’s like Octomom with money, only mean and OCD instead of openly crazy and manic. Also, Kate blames Jon for screwing her out of their massive paycheck.

Kate is losing sleep over how she’s going to support herself and her [kids]. She fears they’ll end up on welfare and food stamps, sources tell The Enquirer.

“None of this would have happened if Jon had just kept his zipper zipped!” Kate angrily told a pal. “We could have kept going indefinitely with shows even after our divorce. Jon destroyed everything!…”

Kate has been reluctant to give up some of her luxury trappings. She was spotted in early September driving an Audi TT sports car which only seats two people – and has a base price of nearly $50,000.

Yes it’s all Jon’s fault that no one wants to watch Kate order her kids around on television and that Kate squandered all her money on personal care, a huge house, staff and private school for the children. She’s living in a world where she’s a big star and can get whatever she wants. She’s about to face the reality she was too stuck up her own ass to prepare for.

Last night was the big finale for Kate Plus 8. There was plenty of footage of the kids growing up, of Kate and Jon, of all the family trips they went on, and of Kate and Jon’s acrimonious relationship. It seemed like TLC, and Kate, were working hard to try and justify the fact that they’d filmed this family for the past six years and downplay that the act of filming them had irreparably changed them, particularly the children. It was all about how the kids had benefited from all the trips and experiences, and how they now had the best home videos that they got to share with the world. There weren’t any huge meltdowns like Kate had in the previous episode on the RV. Some of the most telling stuff came from Kate herself, who has consistently tried to portray herself as this normal working mother despite the fact that she’s either turned into a self-obsessed touchy narcissist, or doing the show just helped bring out that aspect of her personality. Here’s my favorite quote from Kate in this finale episode.

I couldn’t even stand myself in season two. I think that people think that I’m like mommy dearest, like this horrendous person. Am I rosy and peachy and splendid all the time? I think everyone in this room could say ‘no.’ Sometimes, over two days of shooting for one episode and I have three crabby mommy moments. Well, guaranteed you’re going to see them all in a twenty two minute show. So of course that makes me look like I’m crabby mommy all the time.

We’ve seen her screaming at her children over minor issues, we’ve seen her spend hours whining and refusing to join in activities because she feels uncomfortable, and we’ve seen her berate other people, and her ex Jon, for similarly minor issues. She is a control freak and a mean person. This isn’t an issue of film editing.

Oh and I have to mention this comment that her friend made about Kate now and how she used to be different when she first became a mother. “I see her [now], and it’s more TV. ‘What am I wearing, how skinny can I get?’ I always say to her ‘you’re not Angelina Jolie.‘”

Kate has a new interview with E! News, and she told them that she probably would have split up with Jon even if they never did the reality show. She said “Jon and I… would probably still not be together… it would be lack of finances and struggles to make ends meet that would have ripped us apart.” It’s all about the money for her.

In the finale she discussed her relationship with Jon at length. She said “I can think back to the past with no malice, no hate, because that person [Jon] doesn’t exist anymore.” She claimed that she wouldn’t change her past with Jon, because that would mean she wouldn’t have her kids, which was nice.

As for what’s next for Kate, she said “I refuse to pull [my kids] out of their house, I refuse to pull them out of their [private] school, so I better figure something out to keep them there, and it’s scary. Probably the future holds TV for me… Is this the last time you’ll see my kids on TV? Probably not. I know that there’s a lot of people out there who genuinely really care how each of my kids turns out.” More than she does.
