Britney Spears hasn’t seen her boys since mid-July allegedly, turns down visits

To start I should admit that I haven’t yet seen the second episode of X-Factor. It’s sitting on my DVR waiting for me when I get around to it. (I get that Fox wants another Idol, and that Idol expects viewers to commit significant time to the show, but three hours in the first week is too much. That’s a good movie right there.) A quick google search shows that Britney didn’t have any issues, but that producers are trying to push her. They let a Britney superfan guy audition who wasn’t all there mentally, according to Hollywood.com. The guy came out with roses for Britney, did an awful laughable “performance,” and then begged her to acknowledge him. She didn’t. Britney is a tough bitch, I’m telling you.

The Enquirer has some news this week that suggests that Britney might be focusing so much on the X-Factor that she’s not spending time with her little boys. They say she hasn’t seen Sean, 7, or Jayden, 6, since July. I’m just hoping this isn’t true.

The 30 year-old pop princess had a whirlwind summer jetting around the country to film auditions for her first season on “The X Factor,” which premiered Sept. 12.

But instead of seeing her kids during her downtime, Britney has been enjoying romantic dinners and weekend getaways with her fiance, Jason Trawick, a close source revealed.

“It’s as if she’s tired of being a mom because she’s so caught up in her newfound TV stardom,” the source explained. “She’s losing touch with those kids.”

The star’s ex-husband, Kevin Federline, has full custody, while Britney is entitled to visitation several times a week.

“But Britney has been turning down her scheduled visits,” the source continued. “She says she’s too tired or too stressed. It’s shameful!”

According to the source, The last time Britney saw Sean and Jayden was in mid July.

“The boys had hoped to see her before they started school, but that didn’t happen,” said the source. “Instead, Jason arranged for Britney’s mom, Lynne, to take them to the beach for the day.

“These days, Britney’s kids are more comfortable being around their Grandma Lynne than they are with Britney, Lynne has taken on the role of mommy for the boys.

“Britney likes her new life with Jason,” the source added. “She seems to be forgetting what’s really important.”

[From The National Enquirer, print edition, September 24, 2012]

Well, again I hope this isn’t true or that someone at the Enquirer is jumping to conclusions based on Britney’s lack of photos and Twitpics with the boys. If this is true – I don’t want to shame her for focusing on her career, but it seems like she could at least see her boys once in a while. Two months is a long time! They must miss her.

Remember when she was driving with baby Sean on her lap and when she nearly dropped him while walking in heels and holding the baby on one arm and a highball glass in the other? That’s just a minor example of how far she’s come, but it also goes to show that she’s not the most maternal person. I’m trying to tread lightly here. The most important thing is that the boys are well cared for and loved. It sounds like they have a lot of stability at home with K-Fed and his girlfriend (and their new baby) along with their grandparents. They’re not being neglected. Not everyone wants to be a mother, even after they are one. As a mom it’s hard for me to relate to, but I’m not saying it’s shameful or anything like the Enquirer’s source, you know?

Update: Gossip Cop has a denial of this story from Britney’s people along with the news that Britney told Ryan Seacrest that the boys had a good first week at school. They don’t give a date that she’s seen them other than the fact that they were in Hawaii in July. The last Twitpic I’ve seen of Britney with her boys is from July 5th.

Kevin Federline drank 24 cans of soda a day, says he loves Britney & Shar

Kevin Federline goes grocery shopping with girlfriend Victoria Prince and buys healthy food only to smoke a cigarette on his way out
Kevin Federline was on the Bonnie Hunt show earlier this week and I have to say that the guy seemed much humbler and soft spoken than he has in the past. (You can see the video here.) He talked about how depressed and affected he was by his ex wife Britney’s public downfall during their divorce and how he took comfort in eating and sitting on the couch. He’s addressed this in the past while promoting his appearance on Celebrity Fit Club, airing now. I was really impressed by how sincere and genuine he seemed. He didn’t come across as a dick at all, and that’s high praise considering what a materialistic ass he was before he gained and then lost all that weight.

Kevin also said that he loves both Britney Spears and Shar Jackson, the mothers of his four children. He said he’s reached a point with both of them where they’re friends and are successfully coparenting. He sounded very grateful to have them in his life.

I’m really fortunate to have both of those people in my life… and as mothers of my children. In all actuality they are very very understanding… I love both of them very much. I still to this day I love them both.

In their coverage of this story, The Sun focuses on the fact that Kevin drank a whopping 12-24 cans of soda a day. It wasn’t diet soda and he called it his “coffee and candy.” He also said he ate comfort food like pizza and macaroni and cheese and his only exercise was playing with his kids. At his heaviest the 6′ tall former backup dancer was 240 pounds.

The former dancer, who recently appeared on Celebrity FIT club in the US, blamed his unhealthy diet and subsequent weight gain on his split from BRITNEY SPEARS.

He told chat show host BONNIE HUNT: “I didn’t drink water, that was all I drank.

“That was my coffee and my candy.”

K-Fed admitted spending days on the couch eating pizza and Macaroni cheese, his only exercise being playing with his young kids.

He suffered depression following the end of his two-year marriage to Britney and revealed watching his ex-wife’s meltdown made things worse – leading to his lust for food.

He added: “I hit 30-years-old, I stop dancing, started eating and sitting on the couch playing with the kids here and there.

“I got lazier and lazier, and fatter and fatter.”

[From The Sun]

I couldn’t figure out exactly how much weight K-well fed has lost, but it looked like at least 40 pounds when he first did the talk show circuit a couple of months ago. Now he’s gained some back. Hopefully he’s switched to diet soda and water. I’ve heard other people who’ve lost weight mention that they drank more than two liters of soda a day. Just one can has over 10 teaspoons of sugar in it! Imagine what more than 120 teaspoons of sugar a day can do to your body.

Kevin Federline says depression contributed to his weight gain

kfed
Britney Spears’ ex husband Kevin Federline is sporting a new svelte figure thanks to some help from VH1′s Celebrity Fit Club. The 31 year-old father of four and former backup dancer told Access Hollywood that depression coupled with overeating and a lack of exercise caused him to gain weight. The more weight he gained, the less he wanted to go out, which he explained as a “downward spiral.” Contrary to rumors that Federline deliberately gained weight to score some kind of reality show deal, he said that it was legitimate weight gain and that he didn’t learn about the offer to go on Celebrity Fit Club until a day before filming was set to start.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –
Kevin Federline has opened up to Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos about his battle with depression, weight gain and his relationship with ex-wife Britney Spears.

Kevin, who will next be seen as a contestant on VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp,” told Maria that despite the rumors, he did not gain weight to secure a spot on the reality show.

“They called me and they asked me if I wanted to do it and I had maybe 24 hours to decide because the show started taping the next day after that weekend,” he said. “It just couldn’t have come at a better time.”

Married to pop star Britney Spears for two years, Kevin revealed that depression played a big part in his overeating.

“Once you get depressed, you don’t really feel like doing anything. You’re kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed,” he said. “I mean, it’s a combination of all of those things.”

Kevin admitted that his divorce from the pop princess in 2006 played a part in his depression.

“A number of things between, I mean, everybody knows what happened with me and Brit. I’m not going to say that’s the total cause of it but, I mean, just not being happy with myself was probably the main part of my depression,” he said.

When asked if he has gotten to a place where he can be friends with Britney, Kevin said the has.

“Yeah, I mean, I think as time goes on, it keeps getting better and better and better. I mean, I’m really happy the way that my life is going right now, I really am,” he told Maria. “I think, you know, I have come a long way. All of us have…my whole family.

“It’s gotten so much better from where we were,” he added.

[From Access Hollywood]

Access Hollywood will air K-Fed’s interview in February, and they have a clip up now on their website. (Link has automatic video.) I have to say that K-Fed has lost some of the swagger and seems almost humble. This is the guy who regularly bragged about his luxury goods and launched a career as a rapper despite a complete lack of talent. I like the new improved K-Fed.

Federline also told Maria Menounos that he “could see” marriage “happening” again in his future, but that he wanted his sons to grow up first. Yeah, he’s not going to marry his girlfriend anytime soon.

Kevin Federline joins the cast of Celebrity Fit Club

fp_3413736_federline_kevin_
Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ now beefed up ex husband and baby daddy, has signed on to join the cast of Celebrity Fit Club. This is great news for one main reason: it seems to indicate that the solo reality show deal that K-Fed was rumored to be working on is a no-go and he’ll have to join a cast of other z-list celebrities bickering and competing to lose weight. It won’t be only about K-Fed and his well-paid quest to drop the pounds.

Kevin Federline is about to slim down.

The father of four, who was married to Britney Spears, is joining the cast of Celebrity Fit Club, a rep for VH1 confirms to PEOPLE

Also appearing on the seventh season of the show will be Federline’s ex-girlfriend (and the mother of two of his kids) Shar Jackson, according to a source.

Federline, a former backup dancer, has been lambasted in the press for putting on weight since his split from Spears three years ago.

The newest season of Celebrity Fit Club premieres on VH1 Feb. 14, 2010.

[From People]

On Monday we heard from Federline’s ex girlfriend and the mother of his two oldest kids, Shar Jackson. Shar told US Magazine that K-well-Fed “doesn’t care” that he’s gained weight, and that “The beautiful thing about him is that he could care less [that he's much bigger now]” As JayBird pointed out, the increased girth has only afforded Federline more opportunities to earn money apart from the over $20k a month he gets for watching two of his kids half time. I wonder if that rumored $2.5 million diet pill endorsement deal has also fallen through. Surely VH1 has a clause in their “Fit Club” contract that participants can’t endorse outside diet and fitness products. Soon we’ll get to see if K-Fed’s ego is just as bloated as it was before his divorce or if his bravado has decreased in inverse proportion to his size.

Kourtney Kardashian’s baby-daddy Scott Disick has a “man-shower” with K-Fed

90906m6_kardashian_b-gr_09
After the initial announcement of her pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian went on a media binge like no other. She gave “exclusive” interviews to every major outlet, tabloid and television show. We heard about how Kourtney forgot her birth control, how she considered abortion, that she’s going to breastfeed with implants, and that she’s going to use this pregnancy to launch herself in a big way (shocking). And those were just some of the bigger stories. For about a week, People and Us Weekly was giving us hourly updates on her food intake, and her bowel movements.

Of course, along with that kind of crap coverage, we also got some reports about the lingering worries that baby-daddy Scott Disick is still pretty much a douchey womanizer. The latest report just solidifies that image to a ridiculous point – Scott Disick threw himself a “man-shower” (a baby shower for men). This “man-shower” was held in Miami. With Kevin Federline. K-Fed even gave Scott “some cute advice about being a father.” Oh. My. Gawd.

While Kim Kardashian plans sister Kourtney’s baby shower, the Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami star’s boyfriend, Scott Disick, had his own daddy-to-be celebration of sorts this week in Miami during an evening of dining and clubbing Kourtney jokingly dubs a “man-shower.”

On Wednesday, while Kardashian, 30, and Disick, 26, were in Miami – where she and her famous sisters own the store Dash – the on-again couple attended a dinner at the Fontainebleau hotel’s steakhouse Gotham Steak with Kevin Federline, 31, his girlfriend Victoria Prince, musician Cisco Adler and rapper Shwayze.

Afterwards, Disick and Federline headed to the hotel’s nightclub LIV to watch Adler and Shwayze perform.

“We were joking that it was Scott’s ‘man shower,’ like his version of a baby shower,” Kardashian tells PEOPLE. “Guys get excited too about having a baby, so they should do something too. One of our friends started calling it a ‘man shower,’ but I was like, ‘Guys don’t have tea and open presents!’ But for them, dinner and then going to a nightclub is a ‘man shower.’ They thought it was funny.”

As for the male bonding, Kardashian says Federline gave her beau “some cute advice about being a father, he was really sweet, saying how Scott’s life will change.”

Kardashian says that evening is where the “man shower” festivities will likely stop. “That was it,” she says. “That’s as far as guys will ever plan unless they need an excuse to go out! I had no desire to go. I was relaxing, chilling. If they want to go have a ‘man shower’ in Miami, then go ahead!”

And did the boys behave? “Yes,” she says. “And it’s downstairs, so if I needed anything, it’s close. I totally chilled.”

The previous night, Federline and Prince visited The Gansevoort South hotel’s Louis Bar Lounge, where they shared a table with Disick and danced to tracks by Prince, The Rolling Stones, Jay-Z and The Ting Tings.

Federline was in Miami co-parenting his kids with ex-wife Britney Spears, who performed a sold-out show at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night.

[From People]

Is this really so terrible? Not really. It’s just B-List, sad and funny. Here’s the thing – I don’t even think K-Fed is that terrible a father. I used to think he was awful, but I still have some vaguely pleasant recollections about how well he behaved during Britney’s crazy period.

I also wanted to point out something else I’ve noticed since Kourtney made her pregnancy announcement – Kim and Khloe seem to be out of sorts, don’t they? I mean, Khloe is used to not getting any attention, since people really, really don’t care about her, but Kim is used to be the Kardashian that gets all of the press, and she’s been doing anything she can to stay in the press. Kim even told the paparazzi that she “wants a baby too!” Of course you do, honey. Baby = attention. Meanwhile, it seems Khloe is trying something new – a high-profile relationship with LA Lakers’ forward Lamar Odom. They’ve been spotted all over LA, and Odom told Us Weekly, “Khloe is smart and beautiful and that is very hard to find.” What’s that again? Anyway… people still don’t care about her, do they? Well, I’m happy for her. Odom is so huge, he makes Khloe look petite.

Kevin Federline offered $2.5 million to endorse weight loss product

K-Fed, who has recently turned his hand to acting, is spotted with his girlfriend in Vancouver
In the latest “life is grossly unfair” celebrity news, Kevin Federline has reportedly been offered $2.5 million for endorsing a diet product. This is despite the fact that Kevin is still noticeably overweight and is losing weight with the help of a trainer and diet plan developed to add some kind of plot to his upcoming reality show. Maybe this company thinks if they can snag Kevin before he starts to lose the weight they claim it’s due to their products:

With his filled-out physique getting a lot of attention lately, Kevin Federline may have found a way to get some more buck for his diet bang. A source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that the former Mr. Spears has been offered a seven-figure deal to endorse a new weight loss product.

Federline is reportedly considering an endorsement deal with a company called EP-2 (Extreme Physical Performance). The source said the former back up dancer has been offered $2.5 million to become the new face of the fat-burning tool which is set to hit over 1,400 GNC stores.

While a rep for Federline has yet to comment, a spokesperson for EP-2 confirmed to RadarOnline.com: “Yes, we’re trying to do a deal with him, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”

Last week, RadarOnline.com broke the news that trainer to the stars Chris Cormier had put Federline on a strict high-protein diet so that he could shed 45 pounds for his new reality show.

[From Radar Online]

Checking out the website for this company, they have products with pharmaceutical-sounding names that promise to help naturally increase testosterone and build muscle. The language they use to describe how their pills supposedly work is loaded with scientific terms and would seem convincing if I didn’t know better. I’ve taken protein supplements and used GNC products before, and I think they’re sort-of useful when you’re trying to build muscle. To me they’re just meal supplements, though, and I really believe that the best way to gain muscle is to work out systematically, and eat small lean protein meals throughout the day. K-Fed is doing all that, and he’ll probably lose weight because of it. This company wants to take credit for it, though, and they somehow think that’s worth a couple of a million dollars. It very well could be, as much as it pains me to admit it. We may want K-Fed to go away, but fat and thin he still gets plenty of press coverage and it’s about to amp up considerably for that reality show he’s working on.

Kevin Federline ordered to lose 45 lbs for his reality show

We’ve heard rumors of a K-Fed reality show for months, but now it’s semi-official. US Weekly is reporting that Britney’s ex Kevin Federline is filming a pilot for VH1 featuring his new girlfriend, Victoria Prince. Federline and Prince shot scenes while partying in Las Vegas last week. It’s thought that they’re still trying to work out a final deal with the network known for reviving the careers of lesser celebrities in highly contrived and often offensive scenarios.

In order to look his best on camera, or more likely to create some sort of interesting plotline, K-Fed has been ordered by VH1 to lose 45 pounds through a trainer they’ve hired for him. His trainer revealed the details to Radar Online, and it all sounds very sensible and like he won’t be deprived at all.

Kevin Federline is headed to Vegas. But instead of going to gamble and party, Britney’s ex will be shooting a new reality show — and RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that he’s been ordered to lose 45 pounds!

VH1 producers want K-Fed to shed the pounds during filming and have hired a celebrity trainer to help him lose the weight, we’ve confirmed.

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, trainer to the stars Chris Cormier, reveals how he plans to get Kevin to shed his beer belly.

“I put Kevin on a diet plan that consists of eating 6 meals a day, every three hours,” Cormier told RadarOnline. “It speeds up your body’s metabolism and you start burning fat fast. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and I’m 42.”

The noticeably heavier Federline arrived in Las Vegas on Thursday, where instead of starting his new diet, he spent the day relaxing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Pool.

K-Fed and girlfriend Victoria Prince later headed to Wasted Space, where they sipped Grey Goose cocktails, later continuing their party at the new Paradise Tower Mega Suite.

A source tells RadarOnline.com that the show will also feature Victoria and Federline’s two sons with Spears, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“Victoria is supposed to have a big part in the show,” the source said. They’re billing her as Kevin’s new Britney.”

[From RadarOnline]

The show will probably have more drama if it features K-Fed getting his ass kicked by a trainer and trying to cheat on his diet. The plan sounds perfectly reasonable, though, and the only exercise mentioned by the trainer is a three mile walk in the mornings. I want to see K-Fed beg for mercy as a drill sergeant-type trainer calls him names and snarls at him to squeeze out one more rep . None of this “nice daddy losing weight sensibly” crap. When K-Fed is involved, some harsh treatment is called for.

Unfortunately the advance details make it sound like they’re going to take it easy on him along with featuring his children heavily. His kids have a hard enough time being photographed so often by the paparazzi. They don’t deserve to have their home life shown on television. Let’s hope for their sake that this show is limited in scope and doesn’t get picked up for several season.

K-Fed possibly eyeing weight loss reality show

58042ep_federline_b-gr_06
K-Fed has gained a lot of weight, but that’s been true for a while now and we’ve noticed it and kind of shrugged. All the guy does is watch his kids and get paid handsomely for it so it’s not like he has to hustle to keep in shape. Britney’s ex showed up at a golf tournament yesterday, his first event appearance in over a year, and it was even more obvious that he’s ballooned. MSNBC’s The Scoop reports that Federline is working on a deal for a reality show, as has long been rumored, and that it may focus on his struggle to drop the excess weight. As we mentioned a couple of weeks ago, it’s thought that Britney is ok with Kevin’s plan for a reality show and that she’s agreed to let her children be shown on camera.

Sure, Kevin Federline has had his hands full, doing the lion’s share of child rearing for his sons Preston and Jayden James (not to mention caring for his kids with ex Shar Jackson, Kori and Kaleb).

So, he might be too busy to work out. But his seemingly sudden weight gain created a huge stir when he arrived at the X-Games Celebrity Skins Classic looking much heavier than he’s ever appeared.

The talk surrounding Federline’s extra pounds doesn’t involve so much how they got there, but how he might profit from taking them off — at least in media circles where there’s buzz of a weight-loss themed reality show deal for Federline.

He didn’t respond to requests for comment on the matter, but one friend of his says it would be wrong to expect Federline to admit something is in the works before the ink on a deal is dry. “He’s not hurting for money, but he’d like to make this work. He’s not going to kill anything that might be coming together by talking about it in too much detail before he’s really sure it’s going to happen.”

[From MSNBC]

I would watch this, and it’s a better idea to focus on Federline than his kids. It seems so dangerous to let children get involved in reality shows, especially those open-ended shows that could conceivably last for years, like “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” Those shows really change the dynamic in the family and disrupt home life in an insidious way that is probably hard for the participants to notice. Not to mention that the children will someday have to face the fact that their childhood moments were captured for public consumption and remain available forever. I’ve seen footage of one of the Gosselin kids crying about being constipated while Kate tells Jon to deal with it because she’s shopping for a couch. How is that kid going to feel when he’s a teenager about that incident and so many other things being made public? There are enough kids involved that some of them are going to take it badly.

Going back to Federline, he will hopefully make sure his show is limited in scope and that his children are only shown tangentially. Despite all the positive changes he’s shown in his transition to overfed house dad, he’s probably still the same douche we first go to know underneath it all. I would doubt that he’ll take measures to protect the kids if it potentially limits his fame. It’s possible he’s changed though, and maybe we’ll get to see another side to great big K-Fed on his show.

Kevin Federline & gf to get reality show on VH1 – featuring Britney’s kids

fp_3218591_federline_girlfr1
We’ve heard rumors for a while that Kevin Federline is trying to work out some sort of deal for a reality show. He told People Magazine late last year that he was “working on a TV show with a production company” and that, he’s “building my own [children's fashion] brand, Otzi.” K-Fed receives a base $20k a month in child support plus bonuses for touring with Britney that can double that amount.

I couldn’t find any evidence that K-Fed’s clothing line is in production at all, and with all that money coming in from his ex he doesn’t need to work. The guy makes over a quarter of a million a year just for watching his own kids 1/2 time. Some more cash and fame could be headed well-Fed’s way. According to E! Online his reality show is about to happen, and it will feature his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, along with his two children with Britney, Sean Preston, nearly 4, and Jayden James, nearly 3. Britney is said to be ok with this, and to have made peace with Victoria. The show could be set to air on VH1:

Britney Spears’ wife-beater-loving ex-husband Kevin Federline [is] eyeing a new reality program to show off his latest girlfriend, Victoria Prince, and (gasp) his two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, a source tells E! News.

“Victoria is a big part of the series,” says the source. “They are not engaged, but she lives with him full-time in his place in Encino.”

Lucky for Victoria, Britney seems to have given the “step-in mommy” her seal of approval. “Victoria and Britney first met before Britney’s tour at Kevin’s home,” says our source. “They had a meeting face-to-face, when Victoria was home alone with the kids. It was awkward, but Britney was nice.”

When she isn’t helping out with the kids, our source says that K-Fed’s girlfriend, a former AVP volleyball player, is taking online graduate classes in communication.

“Victoria actually quit her entry-level job at Fox Sports in L.A. after meeting Kevin,” says the source. “She’s considering returning to volleyball, but isn’t sure.”

This isn’t the first time K-Fed has tried to reprise his role as a reality star since Britney & Kevin: Chaotic aired four years ago. In February 2008, he reportedly canceled a possible show after Britney’s infamous breakdown.

A rep for VH1 could not confirm that the couple is working on a show with the network, and Kevin’s rep has not returned E!’s request for comment.

[From E! Online]

What a surprise – Kevin’s girlfriend quit her job after hooking up with him and is now living rent free on Britney’s dime. At least she’s studying in the mean time. This news comes at a good time for Kevin. His child support could be cut back this month as Britney just decided not to bring her sons with her to Russia, where she performs tonight, after receiving death threats. I hope she’s ok, and that her kids are well looked after. For everything you can say about Kevin, at least he’s a caring dad. Maybe the public’s assumptions about the guy, good and bad, will be challenged once we get a well-edited, skewed glimpse into his home life. Is this fair to Britney’s kids though? They already have enough fame as Britney’s kids and don’t need to become reality TV stars on top of that.

Britney puts K-Fed on a diet, calls him names like K-Fatter-Line

fp_3218590_federline_girlfr
Britney Spears is in great shape again after hiring a personal trainer and going on a strict 1,2000 calorie a day diet ahead of her current Circus tour. She’s performing a few times a week and keeping the weight off, but she struggled with her shape after having children the way many of us do. The critics seemed to come down the hardest on Britney’s very normal and attractive body when she chose to wear just a bra and underwear getup during her disastrous 2007 “Gimme More” VMA performance. She should have opted for a less revealing outfit, but she wasn’t overweight by any means.

Now Britney’s ex, Kevin Federline, has crossed well into overweight territory by gaining an estimated 85 pounds. The former backup dancer does look much bigger than he did before. Instead of sympathizing with him or just ignoring his size Britney is supposedly calling K-Fed rude names like “fat housewife” and “K-Fatter-Line.” She’s also said to have put him on a diet:

Britney Spears has put ex-hubby Kevin Federline on a diet because he’s gorged no so much fatty food, he’s gained a whopping 85 pounds.

The 5-foot-10 former backup dancer weighed just 150 pounds when he married the singer in 2004. Now he tips the scales at about 235 pounds.

Back when they were married, Kevin used to chide Britney about her weight, but now the dinner table has turned. These days, it is Britney who is making the jokes – calling him K-Fatter-line and other names.

“She’ll ask him, ‘When is the baby due?’” revealed a source.

Kevin, who cares for their two boys, isn’t working and rarely exercises – which infuriates the sexy entertainer. “Britney called him ‘a fat housewife,’ and he just laughed, said the source. “He says he’s gained weight because he is happy and content, but Britney says he is just fat and lazy…

“Britney insisted he go on a diet and stop showing their kids it’s OK to be fat and sloppy,” said the source…

“Kevin was more than irritated by Britney’s diet demand, but he’s going along with it for now…

“Kevin says he doesn’t have to worry about his looks,” said the source, “because women still love him.”

Isn’t it always the people who just lost weight who think they’re justified in giving rude advice to others struggling with that same issue? It’s mean to call people names, but it’s kind of fitting that Britney has the chance to get back at K-Fed if he used to mock her weight too. Making fun of someone rarely motivates them though. Many of us go through phases where we could benefit from shaping up, but it doesn’t help when friends and loved ones bring it up like you have a character flaw. If anything it makes you withdraw from them because they’re judging you.

It seems like K-Fed and Britney don’t have a close relationship anyway, so if she’s pushing him away by being rude about his weight she probably doesn’t care. It just goes to show that you shouldn’t judge others, especially friends and family, because it’ll come around.
