Many of you may disagree with me, but at the end of the day, I’ve grown to respect Kevin Federline a great deal. I’m not saying K-Fed wasn’t a golddigger or a d-bag when he married Britney Spears, BUT K-Fed stepped up when Britney was in full-on meltdown mode, and I believe that K-Fed is an overwhelmingly positive and stable force in his kids’ lives. K-Fed has never said a negative word about Britney, and I believe he honestly wants her to be healthy and happy, especially for their sons. Anyway, Kevin is down in Australia, filming yet another weight-loss reality show, and he was asked for his reaction to Britney’s engagement to Jason Trawick. Kevin was incredibly nice:

Following a famously bitter 2007 split and subsequent custody battle over sons Sean, 6, and Jayden, 5, the pop star, 30, and her second husband, 33, have mended fences — and now that Spears is ready to ready beau of two years Trawick, Federline is thrilled.

“I’m really happy for her,” the former rapper told Australia’s TV Week magazine (as excerpted by the Daily Mail). “I think he’s a great guy,” he added of Trawick, 40, Spears’ former manager.

Down Under to film reality show Excess Baggage (Australia’s version of Celebrity Fit Club), he gave a great progress report on Spears, who battled dark times following the end of their marriage.

“She’s happy; she’s doing really well. I want to say she’s in a good place,” he explained. “I haven’t spoken to her much since I’ve been over here, both of us have been busy with her being on tour, but I do know from talking to the kids and talking to the kids’ teachers that they’re doing really good.”

Federline has also moved on with his own love life: His girlfriend Victoria Prince welcomed daughter Jordan Key in August — his fifth child overall. (Federline also has daughter Kori, 9, and son Kaleb, 7, with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.)

“It’s really good once you’re able to move on with life,” he said. “I mean, Victoria’s the best person in the world. It took me going through the things that I went through to find a person like her,” he gushed of his love. “She’s more than I could ever have hoped for. Hopefully Britney feels the same way.”

And Federline added of Sean and Jayden’s stepdad Trawick: “He’s a really good guy, I’ve heard a lot about him. . . I’ve spoken to him quite a few times as of now. He seems like a really good guy. The kids speak highly of him [and] her family loves him.”

I like that Kevin kept bringing it back to the kids – and I think that Kevin probably has the same hopes that Britney’s management team has: that Jason Trawick will be a further stabilizing force on Britney, and that Britney’s next steps into controlling her own life will be taken slowly and gently. Much like Tina Fey, it felt like Victoria Prince was only pregnant for a few months. Victoria is Kevin Federline’s girlfriend, and now she’s his latest baby-mama. His third, I believe. That we know of. And Victoria just gave birth to 33-year-old K-Fed’s FIFTH child, a little girl they’ve named Jordan Kay. Jordan Kay Federline? Jordan K-Fed? Ridiculous. I would have been okay with Jordan, but the addition of “Kay” for the middle name makes me think K-Fed is just promoting himself. So, he had two babies with Shar Jackson, two babies with Britney, and now Victoria gave birth to Kevin’s second daughter, overall. I might need to do a diagram.

Kevin Federline’s a dad — for the fifth time! Britney Spears’ ex-hubby and his girlfriend, Victoria Prince, welcomed a baby girl Monday at 6:33 p.m., two sources confirm to Us Weekly. The 33-year-old and his girlfriend of two years, 28, named their new addition Jordan Kay.

In April, Federline explained the name choice to Us: “[Victoria] said that if we were going to have a little girl, she wanted to name her Jordan. And then, we actually thought that it was a boy, but we stuck with the name Jordan because, you know, it fits both ways.”

Federline and Spears, 29, share sons Sean Preston, 5, and Jayden, 4, who were “super excited” about becoming big brothers, according to their dad. He and ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson also have a daughter Kori, 9, and son Kaleb, 7.

Does Federline plan on making an honest woman out of Prince, a volleyball player turned special-education teacher? “I do want to get married,” he told Us. “But I will wait until I have the courage to propose.”

I’m happy for Kevin, actually. Despite the fact that he doesn’t really do anything, career-wise, I think he seems like a good father, and a stable, loving force in his children’s lives. Plus, I’m in the midst of a wave of K-Fed nostalgia. He was one of the original “celebrities” (for our modern celebrity gossip age) who was famous for nothing, famous for simply being the “boyfriend/husband/ex-husband of” someone famous. He is the prototype for Kardashians, Gastineaus, Lohans, etc.

Anyway, congrats to Victoria and Kevin! Victoria seems like a nice woman too – I hope Britney isn’t pulling out her hair over this.

PS… Here’s a thought: Is K-Fed the American version of Jude Law? Both of them will get you pregnant just by looking at you.

We heard a couple of days ago that hyper fertile Kevin Federline knocked up up his girlfriend, former professional volleyball player Victoria Prince. Many of you wondered whether he would marry her, and whether that might jeopardize those fat checks he gets from his ex, Britney Spears. Reports earlier this year have K-Fed still receiving $20,000 a month in spousal support and $15,000 a month in child support, with the spousal support continuing until he dies or remarries. So chances are slim that he’ll make it legal with Price. Given this dude’s track record, he’ll probably find another girlfriend and knock her up within a year or two anyway.

Anyway K-Fed and Prince are expecting a baby girl, which would be his second daughter and fifth child. (He has a daughter and son with the woman he cheated on while she was pregnant to hook up with Britney, Shar Jackson, along with two boys with Britney.) They posed for a super cheesy pregnancy portrait (you can see it here) and announced the baby’s sex to Us Weekly.

Federline confirms to Us that his girlfriend of two years, volleyball pro turned special-education teacher Victoria Prince, 28, is five months pregnant with their first child.

The baby will be named Jordan.

Explains Federline to Us of the name choice: “[Victoria] said that if we were going to have a little girl, she wanted to name her Jordan. And then, we actually thought that it was a boy, but we stuck with the name Jordan because, you know, it fits both ways.”

Jordan is a cute name for either a boy or a girl. They might get her name mixed up with brother Jaden, though. It sounds confusing to have both a “Jordan” and “Jaden” at home. We heard a couple of years ago that K-Fed was putting out a clothing line for boys and potentially working on his own reality show, but all he did was go on Celebrity Fit Club and then gain the weight back. If his girlfriend’s pregnant he has a good excuse. He makes $420,000 a year just for having kids with Britney Spears so it’s not like he’s motivated to do much. Still, he’s a decent dad and he’s obviously good at making babies.

For the past few days, I’ve seen the random reports on various sites claiming that Kevin Federline’s girlfriend, Victoria Prince, is pregnant. I honestly thought the whole thing was just because of some random photos where she didn’t look super-thin. Of course, she did look thin because she was standing next to K-Fed, who is… shall we say, “chunky” these days. Turns out, I was wrong! According to both Us Weekly and People Magazine, K-Fed impregnated yet another woman. This will be his third baby-mama, and his fifth child. He’s 33 years old, by the way.

K-Fed’s back on daddy duty! Kevin Federline (a.k.a Britney Spears’ ex-husband) is going to be a father for the fifth time: His girlfriend, Victoria Prince, is pregnant with her first child, a source confirms to UsMagazine.com.

A rep for Federline, 33, had no comment.

E! News was first to report the couple’s baby news, noting that Prince is about five months along.

Federline divorced Spears, 29, in 2007, and they share sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4. The former dancer also has two kids with ex Shar Jackson: daughter Kori, 8, and son Kaleb, 6.

Although Spears and Federline’s split and ensuing custody battle were epically messy, the former spouses have become more amicable of late: Spears, her beau of nearly 2 years Jason Trawick, Federline and Prince have all co-attended recent Little League games to cheer on little Sean.

Since People is reporting it too (go here for their report), I’m thinking this is for real. K-Fed’s sperm really is amazing, isn’t it? Anyway, instead of mocking K-Fed, I’ll just offer my congratulations to the happy couple. They’ve been together for a while too – more than two years. One last thing: do you think this bothers Britney? I hope it doesn’t. I hope that she’s moved on to the point where she’s fine with Kevin and his pregnant girlfriend. Here’s hoping.

In case you care, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline don’t actively avoid each other. That’s nice, isn’t it? These are photos of Brit, Kevin and Brit’s boyfriend Jason Trawick at a Little League game over the weekend. Sean Preston was playing, and I’d be lying if I said seeing that little cutie in his Little League uniform didn’t give me a little pang in my womb-area. Usually I only get those pangs for kittens! Sigh…

Anyhoodle, it turns out that all three adults – Brit, Jason and K-Fed – all regularly attend Sean Preston’s games, but this was one of the few times where photographers got shots of Kevin and Britney together, talking or walking together. According to Us Weekly, at the previous weekend‘s game, they “kept their distance from one another and didn’t speak.” Oh, and K-Fed is one of the coaches! I kind of love that too!! K-Fed’s girlfriend Victoria was somewhere around the game too, but there are no photos of her. There are, however, photos of Britney’s ass looking really bangin’ all of a sudden. Last thing: I know people are going to make fun of K-FAT and all, but before you make fun of him, just think of the pure joy you get from looking at these photos. That’s worth something, isn’t it?

There’s a hilarious story in this week’s In Touch Weekly all about how Natalie Portman’s friends are “concerned” that Benjamin Millepied is simple “the ballet K-Fed”. While this has been discussed openly on blogs – I think LaineyGossip used a very similar turn of phrase – it’s interesting to see tabloids really go after Natalie’s baby-daddy like this. Is it a sign that the tabloids don’t respect Natalie? Or is it a sign that Benjamin really is sketchy?

Does Natalie Portman have a Kevin Federline situation with her choreographer fiance Benjamin Millepied? Friends of the actress are concerned that Benjamin may not have the best intentions.

“He’s a self-promoter who’s loving the spotlight,” says a friend of Natalie. “Her friends are worried she’s in over her head.”

“I don’t think he even thought twice about leaving his girlfriend – which isn’t a very good sign of character. He seems like a social climber who was all over Natalie the moment they met.”

Amongst Natalie’s friends, Benjamin is inviting comparisons to another dancer-turned-star-baby-daddy: “They’re calling him the ballet version of K-Fed!”

“Unfortunately, he’s the father of her baby, and her pals think that she wouldn’t be getting married if she wasn’t pregnant, and that it’s all going too fast. They’re nervous that Natalie will wake up one day and wonder what happened.”

It’s looking more and more like Benjamin is going to get the blame if and when the whole thing goes up in flames. But Natalie is old enough to know better – so what does it say about her IF Benjamin is such a K-Fed-esque tool?

In other Natalie news, she gave an interview to People Magazine about her baby superstitions and whether she’s going to work after baby: “I’m very superstitious. I’m very Jewish that way. We don’t do that.” “That” being talking about what the gender is and plans for the nursery. She also says: “I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Portman said, adding that she will be laying low for a while and will just take any future career opportunity “as it comes.” But… but… she’ll have to make the money! Ballet K-Fed must be supported financially!

Yesterday, The Sun had an article/interview with someone closely connected with Britney Spears’ former bodyguard, Fernando. Fernando was alleging that Britney Spears was a crazy bad mother who fed her kids food she knew they were allergic to, and who beat her sons with borrowed belts. Needless to say, someone was paying attention at the LA Department of Children and Family Services, and they’re opened up a formal investigation. According to Radar, DCFS social workers went to Britney’s house and met with her and the boys, and investigated the conditions. A Spears insider then ran to Radar to explain that DCFS has to investigate every claim, and that all they found was a good mom and two happy little boys:

Social workers made a visit to Britney Spears’ home as part of an investigation by the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services that the singer abused her two sons, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The blockbuster development comes after Spears’ former bodyguard, Fernando Flores, allegedly claimed that the pop star abused her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James last March or April. Flores told a British tabloid that Britney asked Flores for his belt, and then he says he witnessed her abusing the boys. Flores didn’t get into specifics about any alleged injuries, or if one or both children were targeted.

Now RadarOnline.com has learned that a complaint was lodged against Spears, forcing DCFS to investigate. A Spears family insider tells RadarOnline.com, “Social workers visited Britney’s house recently about the alleged abuse allegations. Under California law, anytime anyone makes a report to child protective services, a welfare check is required to be made under law to further investigate.

“It doesn’t matter who has made the claim, or how outlandish it may seem. During the visit by officials, there was absolutely no signs of abuse. The boys are happy well adjusted toddlers that love their mama and Britney is fiercely protective of them. The investigation is 95 percent complete and no further action will be required. All that is essentially going to be done at this point is for the paperwork to be finished and then the case will be closed.”

Flores is described to RadarOnline.com as “an opportunist seeking his 15 minutes of fame. Flores is a former disgruntled employee that is trying to take advantage of Britney.”

Britney and K-Fed were spotted at the boys’ pre-school graduation together last week. The family insider says, “Britney and Kevin parent the children together, and they have developed a very healthy relationship that truly enables the boys to thrive. They are united in parenting the boys and trying to raise them in as normal environment as possible.

“If Kevin thought for one moment that the boys were in harms way while they are with Britney, he would immediately go to family law court to have the situation addressed and dealt with. Britney is rarely alone with her sons, usually her boyfriend, Jason Tarwick, is with her during their visits, or her dad is there.”

There has been absolutely no action by K-Fed or Britney regarding any custody issues with the boys, RadarOnline.com has confirmed with public records with the Los Angeles Superior Court system. The last time there was any movement was in September 2009, and that dealt with one of the parents getting one more day of visitation per week.

This isn’t the first time DCFS has investigated Spears. Back in 2007, her former bodyguard, Tony Barretto, had a two-hour meeting with officials from the office and his attorney, Gloria Allred. Barretto claimed to witness Spears using drugs, and was concerned about her then erratic behavior. Barretto requested that a formal investigation be opened into the matter. Spears eventually lost custody of her sons in early 2008 after she was placed under a psychiatric hold.

Spears has flourished since being placed under conservatorship, and she essentially has joint custody of her sons.

In 2006, when Spears was still married to Federline, a nanny accidentally dropped then 7-month-old Sean Preston, and he subsequently hit his head. DCFS visited the Spears household after Brit and Kevin took their son to the hospital and concluded there was no evidence of abuse, and no further action was taken at that time either.

I actually think the argument that Kevin would be the first to voice concerns is a good one. I don’t think much of Kevin in general, but I think his conduct in regards to his sons’ well-being has been totally solid, and I think if Kevin had concerns, he would voice them. And I’m reminded once again of this – when Kevin and Britney first got together, who would have thought that Kevin would be the solid, responsible parent who the state would rely on?

The National Enquirer is reporting that Kevin Federline’s professional-volleyball-player girlfriend Victoria Prince is pregnant. Reportedly, 26-year-old Victoria found out she’s expecting in mid-October in mid-October that she’s expecting, which would most likely mean Victoria is about two months pregnant at most, I would think. Allegedly. All of this is a big, fat “allegedly”. But here’s why I think it’s true: K-Fed’s sperm is like Kryptonite to sensible family planning. He can get women pregnant just by looking at them. He’s already got two babies each with Shar Jackson and Britney Spears, so if Victoria’s pregnant, it would be Kevin’s fifth baby. And he’s 31 years old. And he’s unemployed. Dude…

Victoria has been living with Kevin since she quit working last spring. She suspected she was pregnant after the two spent a weekend in Las Vegas in mid-October. After telling Kevin she thought there was a chance she was pregnant, he urged her to take a home pregnancy test to get a definitive answer, an insider divulged.

“The test was positive. She told Kevin that she was pregnant, but he didn’t seem happy to hear the news,” the source revealed. “Kevin wasn’t planning to have children with Victoria, and now he’s upset with her. Kevin says he loves her, but he told her that he didn’t want to get married again.”

Kevin is also worried how Britney will react to the news.

“Kevin definitely doesn’t want to hurt Britney. After all, she’s supporting him, their two boys and Victoria. He knows she’ll be devastated at the thought he may be starting a new family with Victoria.”

Christ. Victoria seems like a real brainiac, doesn’t she? “Mmm… dude, I think I may be preggo.” Kevin: “Well, babe, why duncha go get one ‘a them preggo tests?” Victoria: “Shut up, butthead!” It always astounds me, every time I ever cover a Federline story, how he always comes across as the brains of the operation. In a clutch of half-naked (pregnant) morons, the dude with two brain cells furiously rubbing together, wearing a beater tank, is somehow king.

The Enquirer story goes on and on about Britney and how devastated she will be when she finds out. A source even claims: “Britney never wanted Kevin to have another child unless it was with her… she desperately wants to have a baby girl, and she had hoped Kevin would be the dad.” Uh…. Pink wig, stat! I actually think Britney would be in more mental-health danger if she got pregnant again, not if she found out Kevin had knocked up some other girl. But maybe I’m giving the Pink Wig too much credit.

Kevin Federline must be going broke. According to his former landlords, he owes over $100,000 in back rent. In addition, he trashed their Tarzana, CA home. There were cigarette butts left all over the place – even up in the gutters – along with beer bottles. The glass on several of the lampposts has been broken, screens were ripped and torn, electrical wiring was exposed – probably in the process of dismantling the smoke detectors, which was also noted. The foliage around the home was all dead because K-Fed didn’t water it, and there’s a lot of damage to the back patio and pool area. So K-Fed basically lived in their house, didn’t pay rent, and beat the shit out of it. Just when you think the guy’s maybe matured a bit, you remember that no, he’s still K-Fed.

It’s all over the Tarzana, California home where K-Fed lived until this past May — the people who own the pad claim Federline suddenly disappeared without paying his last 6 months in rent. But the worst part — the owners claim Federline turned their home into a cigarette-riddled, spit-stained dump.

Now, the owners have fired off a nasty letter to the wannabe rapper, demanding $110,661 in unpaid rent and damages which include:

- Gutters full of cigarette butts and empty beer bottles
- A broken beer dispenser on the barbecue island
- Permanent spit marks on exterior paint
- Broken light covers
- Bent light posts
- Broken tiles
- Dead trees and plants due to failure to water
- Drawings all over the walls
- A room that was turned into a studio (without the owners’ permission)
- Broken dishwasher … with broken baskets
- Dismantled smoke detectors
- Front driveway oil-leak damage
- Master bathroom windows tinted (without owners’ permission)

… and last but certainly not least — the owners claim K-Fed made off without returning the GARAGE DOOR OPENER!!!

In their letter to K-Fed, the home owners have threatened to take his ass to court if he doesn’t pay up … we’ll let you know if that happens.

The thing is, when you look at the pictures it’s actually not that bad. It’s totally not an appropriate way to treat or leave a home that’s not yours. But it’s not nearly as dramatic as it sounds on paper. There are cigarette butts everywhere and all sorts of filthiness that K-Fed should have dealt with. But the landlords also seem like they must be perfectionists. Which is fine, it’s their home and they have the right to insist that it be treated well. But in their documenting the damage and sending photos to TMZ, they took about 5 pictures of the same broken planter on the patio. There are a few tiles missing from around the pool. There is a picture of a swing set, and I can’t even tell what’s wrong with it. My only guess is that perhaps it wasn’t there when K-Fed moved in and he installed it without their permission. There are condiments left in the fridge! Gasp! Seriously, he should not have left the place that way, but it’s not as bad as you’d think.

K-Fed gets $20,000 a month in child support from Brittney, and an additional $4,000 a week when he tours with her (he goes along so she can be with their sons). So you’d think he’d have the money to hire a maid and a gardener if he wants to live like a total pig. Oh, and pay his rent. Celebitchy noted in an article this spring that the National Enquirer had a list of K-Fed’s supposed expenses and his spending is out of control.

- $7,500 for rent
- $2,000 for food
- $500-$800 a month on booze
- $2,800 for the nanny
- $3,000 for body guards
- $1,500 for utilities

So he’s got less than $3,000 for discretionary spending. Which would make most of us pretty damn happy, but with his lifestyle I imagine he blows through it quickly. I’ll also note that there’s no way I believe he only spends $2,000 a month on food, with the way he eats. Unless he’s gained all that weight from $.99 boxes of Little Debbie’s Cosmic Brownies (I sympathize), he’s got to be spending a heck of a lot more on gaining weight. Um, I mean on eating.

So I can’t help but wonder if K-Fed’s going broke, or if he just decided he didn’t want to pay rent? He’s clearly got some insane entitlement issues, so I think either one could be true. He might want to at least start picking up after himself.

Kevin Federline has a genius career strategy. Is he using the Britney Spears angle? Nope. His dance skills? Not so much. His hot girlfriend? Nu-uh. K-Fed is capitalizing on the greatest of his assets – literally. Since he’s gotten all Santa fat, K-Fed’s been a little more popular in the media. He’s a gentler, slower K-Fed, if you will. Probably with higher blood sugar, judging from where he’s storing his fat. I worry K-Fed, I worry. Anyway, despite the stress his health is causing me, K-Fed’s decided not just to embrace the chub but to actually encourage it. He is actively trying to PUT ON MORE WEIGHT. You read that right. And yes, the caps were necessary. K-Fed figures the more he weighs the more he’ll lose on Celebrity Fit Club. And that’s what’ll turn his career around. Ditching the cuddly chub.

Another young famous-for-nothing celebrity who will cash in on reality is Kevin Federline, Britney Spears’ ex. When he joins the cast of “Celebrity Fit Club,” which premieres Feb. 14, he’ll land a $100,000 payday, according to several sources familiar with Federline’s negotiations.

That payday has come at cost, though. Federline has been overeating to get ready for the show. After he found out the casting was definite, “he started putting on even more weight on purpose,” a source told Us Weekly.

It’s all part of a grand plan to make him a bigger brand post-weight loss, another friend of Federline’s said.

“He thinks that if he goes on the show, loses a ton of weight, and seems really likeable, he’ll get more deals afterward,” the friend said. “The way he sees it, he could have another show after ‘Fit Club,’ and that would open the door to working on music again, maybe even a fashion line.”

This is so stupid on so many levels. First off, I don’t think K-Fed realizes how hard it is to lose weight. Since he started gaining he never seemed to even try to go on a diet. At least he never went through a phase where he was less fat. So I really doubt that he actually gets how hard a diet will be. I’m sure he knows it because it’s common sense, but you know it in a different way when you’re living it. He is going to greatly regret making a bad situation worse.

Secondly, I really am worried about his health. Storing all the fat in the midsection and upper body is really dangerous. It raises your risk of diabetes and heart disease dramatically. And while K-Fed isn’t old by any means he’s not so young that he shouldn’t worry. He’s also demonstrating bad habits to his kids. They see what you do, not what you say. If you’re telling them to eat their fruits and veggies while you inhale a jug of malt balls, that’s what they’re going to do. This whole plan is so short sighted and frankly ignorant. Do I expect more of K-Fed? Not really, no. But he got a lot of fame an credit for stepping up to the plate and being a good dad and setting a good example when Britney lost her marbles.
