K-Fed told Britney not to come to his show

We were right that K-Fed’s jealousy of Britney’s fame is what kept her from his concert. Kevin is said to have told Britney over dinner to stay away from his show at Pure nightclub last Friday, even though she was planning on coming and was already in Vegas to support him:

The fledgling rapper, who is desperate to kick-start his music career, is said to have ordered his pop singer spouse to stay away from the showcase, at which he played two songs from his forthcoming debut album, ‘Playing With Fire’, over fears she would “upstage” him.

The ‘Toxic’ singer - who has a son, Sean Preston, with 28-year-old Federline - is said to have been devastated after he broke the news to her on a dinner date at plush Las Vegas restaurant Nero.

One onlooker said: “It was a full-blown war of words. It was a very bad night for Britney.

“Kevin didn’t want Britney overshadowing him on the red carpet. Britney fled the restaurant and raced up to her suite alone, boycotting his performance.”

Britney was seen fleeing to her suite in tears. An earlier report had Britney jealous that Federline had invited Paris Hilton to come, (although Paris sent her parents instead) but it makes more sense that K-Fed’s jealousy is what kept her away. Earlier rumors had the couple fighting over the fact that K-Fed thought that Brtiney stole his thunder at his performances.

Kevin Federline cannot rap and would have no career if it wasn’t for his talented wife. He was said to have turned down an earlier offer from Britney to get professional production help on his album. He’s a fool for not accepting Britney’s support, and for telling her to stay away from his shows. She will hopefully come to her senses and leave him soon.

Britney Spears skips out on husband K-Fed’s listening party

TMZ reported that Britney Spears planned to attend the listening party for her husband Kevin Federline’s excuse for a rap album at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas this past Friday.

It promises be the musical event of the year, in a way. Kevin Federline is hosting a listening party this Friday at posh Las Vegas nightclub Pure. Inevitably a large contingent of K-Fed’s scruffy hangers-on and his C-list music producers will be in attendance.

But in an interesting turn of supportive wifeliness, Britney Spears is planning to attend and has even gone so far as to put 11 of her own friends on the guest lists for the party, sources say.

The pictures have come out from the event, and Britney is nowhere to be found. Is she fed up with K-Fed? We reported on Saturday that she was said to be enraged with Kevin when seven month-old Sean Preston fell off the couch when Kevin was supposed to be watching him. Sources say this may have been the fall that fractured the baby’s skull, not the incident with the highchair.

Britney may have stayed away because Kevin asked her to. The couple was said to be fighting over the fact that Britney gets all the attention at events promoting Kevin. The last time they made a public appearance together was at a belated birthay party for Kevin on March 25th.

Britney is also said to feel threatened by reports that her ex-bodyguards plan to dish the dirt on her, which could include allegations of drug use and details of her sloppy lifestyle.

Here is K-Fed looking like a royal ass at his show on Friday. [via]

Update: Britney may have been pissed that Kevin asked Paris Hilton to come to the party. Paris didn’t attend, and sent her parents instead. Another report has Britney and Kevin arguing in Vegas before the gig, with Britney crying before she went back to their suite.

Britney Spears is living in fear

Britney Spears’ seven month-old son, Sean Preston, has fallen several times according to sources close to Kevin and Britney. He’s said to have fallen off the bed twice and off the couch at least once.

When seven-month-old Sean toppled out of his high chair and fractured his scalp it wasn’t his first fall, an ENQUIRER investigation has uncovered.

Twice before, says a source, the baby has rolled off of the pop princess’ bed and crashed to the floor. Doctors say Sean could suffer brain seizures or memory loss for years to come.

Both times Britney freaked out when she was wakened by the sound of her little boy screaming,” said an insider. “She found him lying face down on the floor after falling from the bed.”It was every mother’s nightmare come true. She was so afraid he was hurt. The first time it happened, Sean was just over three months old. Fortunately the floor in Britney and Kevin’s bedroom is carpeted and the baby was frightened but uninjured.

“But two weeks later, the same scary thing happened again. Once again Britney woke to find the little guy face down on the floor, crying his heart out. This time she was shaken to the core.”

Another article states that Sean Preston also rolled off the couch when Kevin was supposed to be watching him, outraging Britney:

Despite the high-chair fall claim that was released last week, the magazine reports that they have heard from multiple insiders and they have told Life & Style that that based on the accounts of Spears family members and Kevin himself, they claim — Sean may have injured himself after rolling off a couch in the same room where Kevin and his friends were at the time.

“When Britney came to the door, she heard a thump and then Sean Preston screaming,” says one insider. Brit immediately blamed Kevin, telling him, “You’ve been nothing but trouble for me ever since I met you.”

Kids fall, and my son rolled off the couch at that age when I was actually watching him. It wasn’t that far and he seemed fine, but it was scary. Of course when a child falls more than a couple of times it is cause for alarm, especially when the baby ends up with fractured skull! Kevin probably wasn’t paying attention to Sean Preston at all, and he deserves much more than a few harsh words from Britney.

Now Britney is said to be afraid of losing Sean since she’s in the system with the Department of Children and Family Services. Considering how poorly the agency handled abuse claims against Michael Jackson, Britney doesn’t seem to have much to worry about.

Britney has received a lot of bad press for driving with her baby in her lap and getting investigated by social services. An online poll in Us Weekly found that only 27% of the people who responded would let their kids play at Britney’s house.

Here are pictures of Britney out shopping without Sean Preston yesterday. TMZ has a video of Britney walking to her car. The person videotaping asks “Is everything ok with Sean?” and she nods yes and gets in the car.

If you look closely you can see that she’s wearing a locket with a little picture of Sean Preston on it.

Britney Spears in talks for new TV series

Britney Spears has met with Will and Grace producers to discuss an ongoing role in school-based sitcom, “Detention”:

The 24-year-old attended the meeting to talk about a role in an ensemble sitcom about teachers, tentatively titled Detention.

During the two-hour meeting in late February, the singer read lines from a script and confessed she was “aching to give acting a go,” according to Us Weekly magazine.

Spears guest starred alongside Hayes on Will & Grace last month, appearing as a conservative talk show host.
A source close to the actor says, “Having seen the way Britney works, he knows she has potential.”

One of the producers’ main concerns was that the pop star was pregnant with her second child.

The source adds, “First, she laughed and said, ‘Do I look it?’ Then she assured them that she wouldn’t jeopardize a new project.

Britney is said to be very interested and is looking forward to the project. We don’t think she can act, but it’s likely she’ll get the role anyway.

Meanwhile Britney is said to be pushing K-Fed to enroll in charm school, but he predictably doesn’t want to go:

A friend of the couple tells In Touch that Britney, 24, wants Kevin to enroll in a “charm school” workshop with Beverly Hills therapist Dr. Irene Kassorla. “Kevin is in dire need of a makeover,” their pal adds. “This class could be just what the doctor ordered. It’s Chivalry 101!”
But making him over won’t be easy. “Kevin is fighting her on this,” the friend says. “He cut back on his partying and cut his hair for her. But going to therapy to turn him into a gentleman is not something he is excited about.”
But Britney still hopes that with a little effort–and a bit of education–her frog may someday turn into a prince.

You can’t change a guy, Britney, that’s why you don’t marry the guys you date in your early twenties.

Here are a bunch of different looks that Britney has sported recently, as shown on People Online. [via]

Britney Spears cleared of child endangerment charges

Nothing came of the recent Department of Children and Family Services investigation into Sean Preston’s skull fracture. The case was dropped immediately after case workers questioned the Spears-Federlines. (In what is probably an oversight, The Sun spells Federlines last name wrong in the way that we all do to make fun of him.)

Social service investigators were automatically called after the singer took SEAN PRESTON to hospital with the injury.

But after quizzing Britney and hubby KEVIN SPENDERLINE, authorities ruled it was an accident.

Britney’s lawyer Marty Singer said: “They determined that the parents were not involved in any injury and that nothing improper was done within the home.”

Doctors say the seven-month-old is lucky to be alive after plunging three feet on to his head when his high chair snapped on April 1. He was being looked after by his nanny at the star’s home in Malibu.

From what I know, Child Services can take months to investigate a case. They must have closed this one right away because it was Britney’s baby.

Here is Kevin Federline in Century City, California on April 11th.

Kevin Federline feels lame because his wife is so much better than him

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are reportedly fighting because KFed feels that Britney steals all the attention at events promoting his album. Both Star Magazine and Life and Style report that Federline feels lame because he can’t get any recognition on his own. The gossip rags have a similar take on Kevin’s promotional appearance at Club X in Dallas on April 1st.

Life and Style reports:

But the crowd responded differently when Britney Spears arrived. “Kevin performed a few songs live from the DJ booth,” Mike Esterman, who booked the party, tells Life & Style.

“But when Britney walked in, the crowd went crazy.”

“It’s always about Britney — or Britney and Kevin as a couple — but these events are about Kevin,” says a K-Fed insider, who adds that Kevin arrived at the club solo to keep the spotlight on him only. (Brit arrived about half an hour later.) “I’m not even sure Kevin thought she was coming, because he was just focusing on himself.”

And Star says:

“Kev wanted Brit to back off some,” a club insider tells Star People.

“He didn’t want her there to steal his thunder. He feels that whenever Britney is around, she inevitably gets all the attention. However, a source close to Britney, 24, says she’s the one who’s mad, thanks to Kevin, 28, and his oversize ego.

“What he doesn’t seem to understand,” the source fumes, “is that the only reason anyone is interested in him is because he’s Britney Spears’ husband. He would not have an album if it weren’t for Britney.”

While Britney’s right about being the bigger star, she has mistaken ideas about where she should focus her efforts. She seems to think her forgettable drop-in appearance on Will and Grace is the beginning of an actual acting career:

In Touch Weekly reports that after that recent performance on “Will and Grace” Spears is hoping to become a TV star. The reviews weren’t pretty - and the weekly magazine displays [some] in their Friday edition.

“She hasn’t stretched this much since she took on the role of impressive pop singer.”
— Neal Justin, staff writer, Minneapolis Star Tribune

“She has no presence, she struck awkward poses in terribly unflattering outfits and the drawl wasn’t very convincing.”
— Matt Roush, senior TV critic, tvguide.com

In case you doubt these negative reviews, you can watch Britney’s “acting” for yourself. She is a bigger star than her husband - but she’s a pop singer, not an actress:

Thomas Dolby is annoyed that Federline raps so poorly on top of his music

Kevin Federline, who amazed everyone by getting a paid job last week, is under fire from 80s pop star Thomas Dolby for using the signature music from “She Blinded me with Science” on his latest “rap” song accessible from his 1997-era MySpace. (link launches automatic “music”)

Dolby blogs about Federline’s theft of the sample:

Next item: Britney Spears’ husband Kevin Federline, whom I’d never heard of until a few days ago, appears to have illegally sampled one of my compositions. On his MySpace site you can download an MP3 which uses a looped sample from Mobb Deep’s ‘Get It Twisted’, which in turn copped the string line from my own song ‘She Blinded Me With Science.’

Now, Mobb Deep did it the right way and had his label BMG come and ask for a license. They paid me a fee and a royalty on the sales of Mobb Deep’s record. However K-Fed, as his fans affectionately refer to him, did NOT ask permission, he just went ahead and did it. He is therefore blatantly violating the copyright law. And laws aside, he owed it to me as an artist to ask if I minded that he recorded a vitriolic rap over the top of my music. It starts off ‘This is for the HATERS…’ and goes on to blast the media, paparrazzi and all his other critics, sparing no expletives along the way.

BMG Records have also had their copyright violated, as they own the master to Mobb Deep’s record. But BMG don’t want to rock the Britney boat so they are turning a blind eye. It’s pathetic! Turns out K-Fed has no management, label or lawyer, so it’s going to be hard getting hold of him. So K-Fed, if you’re reading this, I’m asking you nicely to take the track down ASAP. Or maybe you’d prefer me to come after some of your wife’s ill-gotten gains?

Dolby is touring again as a single act after 15 years, and finds it amusing that press outlets are more interested in his feud with Federline than the fact that he’s revitalizing his music career.

Here is Federline’s wife, Britney Spears, rotting her child’s teeth and accompanying her husband to a promotion gig for his album at Club X in Dallas.

Britney Spears is worse than insensitive

Starpulse has a story stating that little people organizations are outraged that Britney hired people of small stature to entertain her husband at his birthday party in Atlanta. We could find no press releases or official statements confirming this, although it does seem obvious that her actions would upset people:

Spears has been criticized by a host of foundations representing the interests of smaller people, who have branded the stunt at last month’s (Mar. 21) surprise event utterly tasteless.

At the party, hosted in a Las Vegas, Nevada restaurant, two female dwarves were reportedly employed to carry in Kevin Federline’s 28th birthday cake, while another dressed as a miniature Sonny Bono alongside a Cher look-alike.

Horrified sources claim boozy guests giggled and cheered, with some jokingly suggesting a dwarf-throwing contest.

But dwarf groups are enraged at the appearances, insisting the stunt was demeaning.

A member of America’s Billy Barty Foundation - named after the late diminutive Hollywood veteran - says, “It is wicked to hurl abuse at anyone of diminished height simply because they are small.

“We know dwarves and midgets who are immense in stature because of their talent.

“Mostly they are able to rise above any insults. But inevitably, feelings are hurt by nasty comments. There’s only one word for it - bullying.”

When we first reported that Britney hired dwarves to entertain her husband, we noted that “People who mock little people are ignorant and stupid.” It’s like hiring someone in black face for laughs, and Britney deserves plenty of criticism for this.

Here are some little people organizations so that we can all be a little more enlightened about how offensive Britney’s actions were. (Again, there are no official press releases, but it may be helpful to get someone else’s point of view.)
- Dwarfism.org, which notes that the term “midget” is highly offensive
- The Children of Difference Foundation
- Little People of America

Britney is said to be due in September if she’s really pregnant. We don’t think that dumb bitch should produce any more children, and hope that the nanny can drum some sense into SP, because he doesn’t have much of a chance with the parents he’s got.

Here’s Britney getting her hair done and talking on the phone yesterday. [via]

Nude online pictures of Britney Spears were fakes

Some nude pictures of Britney Spears that were seen online have been deemed fakes:

BRITNEY SPEARS is breathing a sigh of relief after a photographer admitted his “naked Britney” images on the internet were fake.

Snapper ERIC STRIFFLER said the look-a-like of the TOXIC singer was a glamour model called EMILY after the snaps had spread all over the internet.

No word if the naked Britney pictures sold to Golden Palace for $40,000 last week were also fake.

Britney’s appearance on Will and Grace Thursday was said to be decent and funny, but a bit rough in spots. Her southern accent was also said to be overdone.

Here are two recent sets of pictures of Britney’s husband, Kevin Federline. These show him getting coffee for Britney on Sunday March 26, and arriving with his friends at a recording studio in Atlanta on March 24th.

K-Fed’s record title is self-explanatory

K-Fed, you give us so much to work while describing the title of your new album:

“My album is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire!” Federline said in a statement. “The inspiration and meaning behind the title Playing with Fire is self-explanatory.”

First of all, it’s hysterical that you’re explaining that it’s supposed to be self-explanatory. That really brings home your point, thanks.

Next, did you get the fact that it can have more than one meaning? Because maybe then you wouldn’t try and emphasize the title of the album, which may have beats that could, er, burn you and all of your listeners. (We are so sorry for pointing this out, and are nearly as bad as K-Fed in that respect.)

K-Fed does not yet have a record contract, but is said to be “weighing his options.”

Federline characteristically rebuffed his infinitely more talented wife when she offered to hook him up with her magical producers several months ago.

You can hear a genius one-sample track off his new album on his 1997-era MySpace (launches automatic music).
