Linda Hogan must either be totally mental or completely misunderstood. After filing for divorce from Hulk Hogan and letting him find out through the media, she took up with a 19-year-old bleached blond friend of her 17-year-old son. She then filed for a restraining order against Hulk, and called the police to have him arrested when he dropped their daughter Brooke off at her house… because he was technically closer than the restraining order allowed him to be. And then she got in her car and followed him. And that’s just a brief snippet from the crazy Linda Hogan file.

According to daughter Brooke, Linda manipulated her into signing an affidavit stating that Hulk had abused her mother. Brooke is publicly apologizing and recanting her confirmation of Linda’s allegations.

“I did it under significant pressure from my mother,” Hogan, 20, tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. “It was only after I learned all the facts that I realized I made a big mistake in signing it.” Hogan released the statement after a tabloid reported that she had signed a legal affidavit accusing her father, whose real name is Terry Bollea, of verbally and physically abusing wife Linda during their marriage.

Linda, 48, filed for divorce last November, and her attorney told PEOPLE it was going to be “war.” Her attorney was not available for comment. A rep for Hulk Hogan declined to comment. In her statement to PEOPLE, Brooke admits to signing the affidavit. But, according to her rep, she later regretted the decision and asked that it not be filed in court. (At this point, according to Hulk’s attorney, no such document has been filed.)

Brooke’s rep says: “Brooke Bollea is distressed at the latest efforts by mother Linda to fracture the family. This time they let leak out an old document that Brooke signed filled with exaggerations and fabrications about father Terry’s behavior during the marriage. The months-old document was signed by Brooke at a time when she was upset with her father.”

Brooke and Linda haven’t been on speaking terms for about a month, and according to People she now lives with her father. Brooke says that her mother is using her kids as pawns in their divorce. Which might be true, but they’re both nearly adults – jailbird son Nick will turn 18 tomorrow. It’s hard having your parents divorce at any age, but when they’re old enough that parents can’t fight over custody, that has a few advantages for the kids. They can live with whoever they want or move out on their own and do their best to avoid the drama. Which sounds like the best plan in this case.

Anne Hathaway really got herself into some pretty big problems with ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri. The real estate investor (more accurately referred to as a con man) is still languishing in jail, unable to afford his $21 million bail. Hathaway has cut all ties with him, but the Daily News just revealed that the FBI has seized Anne’s private diaries as evidence in their case against Follieri.

Anne Hathaway could be drawn deeper into the fraud scandal of her ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, now that FBI agents have seized the actress’ private journals, sources tell us.

The agents confiscated the intimate diaries of the “Devil Wears Prada” star during another raid on Follieri’s $37,500-a-month Trump Tower pad, according to the sources. Seeking to bolster their case against the dashing Italian, who has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering, agents are also said to have seized photos of Follieri with Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and John and Cindy McCain. Also confiscated were documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique Bible and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.

Hathaway, who has been charged with no crime, has cut off all contact with the 30-year-old Follieri, say sources. While Follieri recently had associates return to Hathaway a $250,000 abstract painting that had hung in his pad, “she’s changed her numbers so he can’t reach her,” says a friend. “Raffaello has been trying to call her all the time.”

According to friends, he still wonders whether Hathaway, 25, helped put him behind bars. “He was in Europe, working on a deal,” says a source. “He didn’t have to come back to New York. He knew he was being investigated. But she kept calling him, saying they needed to resolve their future. A few days after his return, he was arrested.”

Follieri’s friends say that he’s, “doing very badly,” and being abused in jail. It’s hard to tell if it’s anything unusual or just the run-of-the-mill stuff that’s bound to happen in prison. It certainly isn’t Trump Tower. I’d guess that a lot of things might feel like abuse to Follieri in comparison to the life he was living.

Most stories seem to hint strongly at the likelihood that Anne Hathaway cooperated with the FBI. Frankly I don’t find that as horrendous as most people seem to. The man is accused of committed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of fraud. She was dumb to have stayed with him so long, but frankly I don’t think loyalty to your boyfriend requires breaking the law and lying for him. It’ll be pretty interesting to hear what those diaries contain.

After what seems like a billion (but was actually just four) years, Janet Jackson’s boob is no longer in trouble. Or at least it won’t have to pay a huge fine for getting into trouble in the first place. After a long and contentious legal battle with the FCC, CBS had the $550,000 fine thrown out. And considering how long it took, I’m guessing they spent a hell of a lot more on legal fees than the actual indecency fine. CBS and their nipple principals. It’s cute.

The long-running legal saga involving the escape of Janet Jackson’s right breast during the halftime show of the 2004 Super Bowl has apparently come to an end as a federal appeals court today tossed out the $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. In its ruling, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” when it issued the pricey penalty against the network for the boob slippage.

But in today’s decision, the three-judge appellate panel ruled that the FCC had overreacted and ignored its 30-year practice of only fining for indecent programming that is “pervasive as to amount to ’shock treatment’ for the audience.” Nipplegate didn’t fit the bill, the justice’s [sic] ruled.

“Like any agency, the FCC may change its policies without judicial second-guessing,” the court said. “But it cannot change a well-established course of action without supplying notice of and a reasoned explanation for its policy departure.”

The panel also said CBS shouldn’t be held financially accountable for the singers’ actions because they weren’t network staffers. “The FCC cannot impose liability on CBS for the acts of Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, independent contractors hired for the limited purposes of the halftime show.”

The Parents Television Council was shockingly infuriated, saying that the judges had “hijacked the will of the American people.” Tim Winter, the president of the PTC, also alleged that the judges were morons, noting that their decision bored on “judicial stupidity.” How kind of a conservative group that represents a minority of the public to believe his opinions to be such absolute fact that they represent all Americans.

While the whole debacle was really annoying, pissing off the Parents Television Council to this level makes it almost worth it. And let us never speak of nipples again.

On Monday MSat reported that actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright were arrested after a bar fight in Shreveport, Louisiana. The details were pretty vague at the time, but considering it was a bar, a drunken fight, and ended up with cops, it seemed safe to conclude that Brolin and Wright were the main problems. However TMZ is reporting that there’s some shocking videotape of their arrest that appears to show police brutality.

Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, who were arrested this past weekend at a Shreveport, La. bar, were pepper sprayed and tased by cops. And, we’re told, police went on a vulgar rant — and portions were caught on cell phone video.

The incident occurred during a wrap party for Oliver Stone’s movie “W” about the Prez. Local station KTBS reports and TMZ sources say Wright, who plays Colin Powell, was repeatedly tasered and pepper sprayed as he lay prone on his stomach in the street. We know witnesses heard the officers using extremely foul language, including the “N” word, directed at Wright.

Our sources say Brolin was observed by witnesses attempting to make peace and standing still as he was repeatedly sprayed in the eyes by cops.

The city attorney has not decided whether to file criminal charges against Brolin, Wright or the others for interfering with a police officer.

I’m assuming the video will be on the internet in short order, though from what’s described, I don’t think I could watch it. It doesn’t seem likely that the police officers’ reactions had anything directly to do with whatever Brolin and Wright did at the bar. Bar fights happen all the time, and while this one got a lot of attention because the actors are famous – and they’re starring in a big important movie – there’s no reason to believe they’ve done anything that explains that officers’ behavior.

This sounds really horrendous, and I’m surprised Brolin and Wright haven’t said anything yet. It’ll be really interesting to see what possible explanation the Shreveport police give.

I should feel like a really bad person for cheering whenever the divorce proceedings between Linda and Hulk Hogan worsen. But then I think about the way karma is biting them so deliciously in the ass, and this big, perverse grin spreads across my face.

Linda is trying to get Hulk thrown into jail for reneging on a contract to purchase a $4.3 million condo in Las Vegas. The two had been ordered by a judge to complete the sale, even though they’re in the middle of divorce proceedings. But when the day came to sign the final pictures, Linda claims Hulk was nowhere to be found, and suddenly his attorneys and friends had no clue where he was. What it really comes down to is Linda needs a place to party with her cougerlicious boys.

Hulk Hogan left his signature bandanna at home today, because it could clash with the orange jumpsuit a judge may force him to wear.

Hulk and soon-to-be-ex wife Linda were in court in Clearwater, Fla., as Mrs. H. asked hizzoner to hold her estranged hubby in contempt for failing to close on a $4.2 million Vegas condo.

As we first reported, Hulk wants to bail out on the deal — even if it means he loses his $840,000 deposit. Linda says they had an agreement to close on the condo and Hulk had no right to withhold the cash.

Hulks lawyers went off to E! News about how selfish and crazy Linda is for still wanting to purchase the condo. They also pointed out that in light of the lawsuit by John Graziano’s family, it is both financially imprudent and morally tacky to throw $4.3 million into luxury real estate. Which is totally true. But I’m behind anything that somehow results in either Hogan elder spending time in the slammer.

It must suck to be a former child star. Anytime the word “former” is applied to your general description when you’re only in your twenties, it’s probably a bad thing. “Former” star kind of implies that you were formerly awesome and now are much less so. “Former” drug addict implies that you used to have some really huge issues and now you’re probably better off – but it doesn’t imply success. So it seems like whether “former” is applied to something good or something bad, it still equals at least a bit of a stigma.

Hence the battle former child stars are always up against. The few that do well are notable. The lucky ones seem to fade into obscurity, though you can still imagine them refusing to wash the dishes or take out the trash because they just can’t handle ordinary stuff. But the least fortunate seem to battle serious addictions, money and family problems, and/or enjoy a few run-ins with the police.

And that is where our story leads us. Former Home Improvement actor Zachery Ty Bryan, 26, got into some sort of serious altercation at a hotel in April. Serious enough that he wound up getting tasered by one of the hotel’s managers – and now Bryan is suing them.

Zachery Ty Bryan, who played Brad Taylor on “Home Improvement” — is suing Choice Hotels International over an incident back in April 2008. Zach claims he was staying at a hotel in San Diego when he and a few friends went across the street to grab a Gatorade. When he came back just after midnight, Bryan’s lawyer claims the hotel wouldn’t let him upstairs, since the room wasn’t in his name.

Then things went really bad …

Bryan’s lawyer claims Zach tried explaining his wife was in the room, but the hotel refused to call her. He claims an off-duty manager, who was not involved in the initial argument, came out of nowhere and tasered Zach in the neck. Cops came but no charges were filed.

A hotel employee tells us Zach went nuts on the staff, a lot of alcohol was involved, and tasering the dude was the only safe bet.

Zach is suing for damages in excess of $25,000. A lawyer for the hotel had no comment.

This is one of those stories that you read and think “there is some serious stuff missing from this account.” Unless the hotel’s manager is a well-known lunatic, it seems rather unbelievable that he would just come up out of nowhere and taser a man – for what is implied to be no reason. And it seems equally odd that the hotel wouldn’t let him back in because his name wasn’t on the room. Either everyone at that hotel is batshit crazy, or one guy was really drunk. Hmmm…

Bryan isn’t the only Home Improvement child star to have some serious problems as a grownup. Taran Noah Smith, who played the youngest brother on the show, had some pretty public embarrassment when his trashed home was put on the market. TMZ got a hold of a video of the home, which the Realtor noted in the home’s listing notes was “Absolutely the worst house in a prime location.” It was trashed beyond recognition, in a manner that reeked of the results of drug use.

Stories like these make you glad you’re just a regular person.

A lot of people have wished a lot of bad things on the Hogan family since Nick Hogan nearly killed family friend John Graziano in a drag racing crash. Me included. And it seems like Hulk and Linda’s lives are spinning out of control, and their divorce is getting ever more acrimonious. One solitary tear just slid poignantly down my cheek. Linda says Hulk is stalking her, and Hulk claims Linda is crazy but he still loves her.

Linda Hogan filed court documents on June 30 seeking to prevent her estranged husband from harassing her. In the documents, first reported by TMZ.com, Linda Hogan, 48, claims that Hulk Hogan, 54, “relentlessly and methodically” follows her, “causing her anxiety and fear for her safety at all times.” The motion also claims that Hulk “has a history of violence” towards Linda, “and is capable of attacking [her] at any time.”

In a statement, David Houston, a lawyer for Hulk (whose real name is Terry Bollea) shot back: “Linda Bollea’s allegations are pure fantasy, in line with her recent 911 call that has been widely played in the media.

“On May 22, Linda called 911 claiming Hulk was stalking her, which Hulk vehemently denied. Since November, Terry Bollea has been in Los Angeles working. The limited time that he has spent in Florida has been solely to visit his son and daughter. In addition, he has no history of violence.”

Linda called 911 on Hulk for stalking her back in May. Hulk showed up at her house. Scary, no? Well he was dropping their daughter Brooke off. And Linda knew that. But apparently his mere presence meant he was stalking her, so Linda did the logical thing - followed him, while calling 911 to report him. The operator actually had to yell at Linda, “Ma’am, ma’am! Stop following him!”

How in the world could such terrible people have created such wonderful, thoughtful kids? It boggles the mind. Rumors were floating around that the pair were having serious marital problems since last spring, well before Nick Hogan’s car crash. Obviously that whole debacle put too much strain on an already fragile relationship.

But since then, both of the Hogan parents have conducted themselves with the utmost dignity; namely dating people their children’s age (and in Hulk’s case, dating a woman that looks like his child). Oh and rubbing lotion on his daughter’s ass.. And other uber creepy behaviors.

Hopefully this is the beginning of a long line of karmic retribution. Er, I mean forgiveness. Okay not really.

We all know that Verne Troyer (aka Austin Powers’ “Mini-Me”) is suing TMZ.com, Kevin Blatt (the man responsible for Paris Hilton’s sex tape), and a few others for $20 million over the sex tape that Troyer claims was stolen from him and posted online.

A commenter here on our site backed up this claim.

“I think this is so sad! This girl [Troyer’s sex tape partner Ranae Shrider] is a sad little girl from Kentuky [sic] that called me the night the video went missing. [Troyer’s] new manager was badgering this poor girl. She left for work came back and he was there and it was missing. I think its a sick publicity stunt that will ruin what little reputation she has left to ‘make it’ in Hollywood. She really thought she was in love. And now what she thought was real is become dirty and grotesque.”

WELL! It turns out that the 39-year-old, 2 foot 8 inch actor’s girlfriend Ranae Shrider signed a declaration filed in federal court stating the tape was created with her video camera and she gave permission to TMZ to air it, thus prompting the judge to allow TMZ to reinstate the post featuring mini-scenes of the tape.

We would post it here but we received a cease and desist order from “his people” stating it’s a violation of his privacy and attached a copy of a temporary restraining order which prohibits us, et al from the exhibition, display or broadcast of any portion of the video on the internet, television, or any other medium. Now then; Mini-Me has been going around bragging that his “me” isn’t so “mini.” When the Tampa, Florida MJ Morning Show spoke with Ranae, she said:

“This is all I’m going to say: As previously reported on interviews made by him, it is definitely not a tripod.”

After the radio show host asked Ranae if Troyer is “proportionate for a man of 2ft 8in?” Ranae responded with a resounding “Yes.”

Okay, first, I didn’t need that visual to be supported or denied, thanks for that to both the MJ Morning Show and Ranae. Secondly, I guess we’ll see what “powers” the Austin star has after TMZ Productions, Inc., Sugar DVD, and Kevin Blatt appear in court on July 7th.

Britney Spears was in court today – but this time she wasn’t in any sort of trouble. In fact the hearing was the result of all the positive progress Britney has made in the last few months. She was requesting extended visitation with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, who will be 3 and 2 years old in September. Britney was awarded overnight visitation, and it seems that all parties were happy with the decision.

Britney Spears has made a subtle change for the better—and, it follows, so too have her custody rights. This morning’s court session, attended by both Spears and Kevin Federline, resulted in “a change of visitation status” for the new aunt, Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini told reporters at a brief posthearing press conference. “Both sides have been very cooperative the past couple of weeks.”

While Parachini wasn’t spilling the beans, sources tell E! News that Court Commissioner Scott Gordon granted Spears overnight visits rights with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline still has primary physical custody of the boys.

The outcome seemed to sit well with both parties. When leaving the courtroom, Spears, 26, told reporters she was happy with today’s decision, and Federline, 30, made his way through the media scrum with a smile on his face.

Britney even showed up on time to the 8:30 a.m. hearing – though just by a few minutes. Still, it was all good progress. Britney is now being represented by her old lawyer Laura Wasser, having fired Stacey Phillips. Wasser wasn’t able to deal with Brit’s craziness several months back, so it’s another sign of progress that she was willing to take Britney as a client again.

According to E! News, Brit is hoping to eventually be granted permission to take the boys to Louisiana to meet their new cousin Maddie soon. It looks like Britney has made a lot of progress, and it’s great that’s being recognized.

Lucky bastards. The British have gotten to do what most Americans wish we could do: tell Martha Stewart to stay the hell away. The country rebuffed the domestic diva’s request for a visa – because of her criminal conviction five years ago. That’s right, the British consider Martha Stewart to be a potential threat to their citizens. And frankly, who can blame them? Though by that logic, I feel we should get to kick her out of our country too.

Martha Stewart has been banned from England — at least temporarily. The famous homemaker was denied a visa into Great Britain because of her stock fraud conviction four years ago. Martha, who served five months in prison in 2004, had plans to travel across the pond for a scheduled speech at the Royal Academy and various meetings when the U.K. Border Agency informed her it won’t be issuing her a visa.

The Agency itself refused to comment on individual cases, but stated the organization is conscious of those the country’s visitors with criminal pasts.

“We continue to oppose the entry to the UK of individuals where we believe their presence in the United Kingdom is not conducive to the public good or where they have been found guilty of serious criminal offences abroad,” the Agency said in a statement.

The government actually said they thought the visa decision was stupid – though they didn’t use that exact word. But you can tell they’re thinking it. Really, really hard. A spokesman noted: “It is a bit silly given some of the other people allowed into the country.” Which makes me wonder what kind of hardened criminals they’re letting in. Martha’s rep was all sunshine and roses, stating that she loves the U.K. and is hoping to resolve the issue soon. I say if they take her they have to keep her.
