Lily Allen has often complained that people seem to see her as a lesser version of Amy Winehouse. Yet she hasn’t been bitching about it nearly so much in the last year or so as Amy’s life has completely gone down the toilet. No matter what bad behavior Lily engaged in, it never compared to a thing Winehouse did. And one would assume she was no longer jealous of Amy… but apparently that’s not the case. Lily’s decided to act just as idiotic as the beehived singer, and attack people on the streets.

Move over, Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen has been out drinking and is ready to fight.

The 23-year-old British songstress apparently reacted to a female heckler outside Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in the Soho area of London early Tuesday morning, throwing a punch at the woman as she walked by.

Luckily the jab didn’t connect, and Lily’s friends managed to restrain her and get her into a car. The Grammy-nominated singer has a history of getting physical: She was arrested and cautioned for kicking a photographer after a night out in London last year.

Looks like someone should be taking her own and advice and “just smile.”

I think if you want to become better known and not referred to as a “shittier” (Lily’s own words) version of Winehouse, it’s probably best to work on your music and not your assaulting skills. I mean sure you could become more Winehouse-esq by drinking too much and seeing what kind of normally-only-afflicts-senior-citizens diseases you could get… or you could work on your talent and be known for that.

hello , i wore a loose fitting t shirt yesterday . I was very hot in London yesterday , and it’s no secret I don’t like wearing bras , besides i don’t need to, measuring in at 32A it hardly seems necessary .My boob fell out twice and people on the blogs are saying it was a publicity stunt . I understand that it’s the price i pay for having a nice house and nice clothes , and i treat them with courtesy when i don’t think that they particularly deserve it . i’m a very independent person and I like to live as normal a life as anybody where I can ,I live by myself , i drive myself around and run all my errands by myself . It’s actually incredibly embarrasing and lonely when I’m walking down the street and men are chasing me with their cameras , drawing attention to me and people then pointing and taking out their camera’s and phones all getting in on the action . I’m 5″2 i’m 23 and this stuff gets to me every so often , so when you see pictures of ” lily looking , glum” or ” lily in tears , again” it’s not because i’m upset about my relationships or because i’m hungover . It’s because i’m on my own and people are pointing at me like an animal in the zoo , talking about me as if i’m not there, meanwhile 10 -20 guys are all making money catching every second of it . Anyway my point is , i would never use my body in that way , I’m just not that kind of girl .

I have a new sympathy for Lily – today I went to pick my kid up from school and it wasn’t until I got home I realized my shirt had slipped, revealing most of my bra. At least I had one on! Lily may have to face the wrath of the world for her moody glares, but does she have to face the snickers of the mommy set, and the comments at the next PTA meeting?

What Lily describes sounds more than lonely, to me it sounds terrifying. How would you feel having a few men follow you around, loitering outside of the home you live alone in? The British paparazzi are known for their vicious tactics, but this all seems a bit much.

The interest in Lily in Britain seems to be very high, she’s regularly featured in the tabloids (when Amy Winehouse is having a slow week), and she was recently papped on her way to her Nan’s funeral.

Note by Celebitchy: I appreciate what she’s saying about having 10 guys following her every day and feeling down about it, but if she knows that she’s popped out of her top twice would it kill her to wear a bra? The photos where she’s wearing an undershirt without a bra were taken after her two boob-baring incidents. If she doesn’t like bras there are always those nice tank tops with the built-in shelf bras. I’m smaller-chested like her and I love those. You never fall out of them, either.

It’s been a tough year for British singer Lily Allen, but it looks like there may be one bright spot. Lily may be getting back together with her ex, Ed Simons, part of the DJ duo the Chemical Brothers. Lily and Ed broke up two weeks after the singer suffered a miscarriage in February. However, last month when Lily’s grandmother died, Simons was seen comforting his ex backstage at the Glastonbury music festival. Now, the pair have updated their Facebook profiles to reflect their rekindled relationship. What, are they 12 years old now or something?

It seems online social network Facebook has scooped tabloid newspapers with news that Lily Allen and The Chemical Brothers Ed Simons have rekindled their romance.

According to an update sent to “friends” of the pair, both have updated their profiles to show that they are “in a relationship” with each other.

Rumours that the couple were going out again surfaced in the aftermath of this year’s Glastonbury festival, although it seems Facebook beat the papers to the story.

That’s kind of cheesy and juvenile, but whatever. Maybe these two can try again and take it a little more slowly this time around. They had only been dating a couple of months before Lily announced her pregnancy. Moving that fast can put a lot of pressure on a new couple, but they do seem to care for each other. Lily did seem very happy with Ed. She slimmed down, cut back on the drinking and was smiling all the time. Since they broke up she’s been kind of a mess. And let’s not even mention the hideous pink hair. However, it looks like she’s gone back to brunette recently, thank goodness.

Lily Allen wore a gray tank top without a bra, leopard-print leggings and Louboutin heels to a performance with Mark Ronson at the 02 Wireless music festival at Hyde Park in London yesterday. The story-telling pop singer and Ronson did two songs together, “Oh My God” and “Littlest Things,” throughout most of which Lily smoked a cigarette.

I am not bashing a girl for gaining weight, but for losing her style. I love her pink hair, and she can really rock the retro dresses and skirts. Change out of your night clothes before you go on stage, girl! You’re so cute when you try.

I know how hard it is to force yourself to buy new clothes when you’ve gained weight. You don’t want to go shopping because then you’d have to admit that you’ve gone up a size or two. But when you finally do it you’ll wonder what took you so long - and be more ashamed that you went out dressed like that than the fact that you gained weight.

Mark Ronson, in what may prove to be career suicide, has turned down the opportunity to work with David Hasselhoff. His excuse? He’s too busy.

He said: “He came up and was like, ‘Hey, I really love your stuff,’ and I was just taken aback. He stayed and watched our show and said that he’s got some new TV show and wanted me to produce a song with him. But I’m a bit busy right now!”

Mark was at Glastonbury where Lily Allen performed a guest spot during his set. This was following the news that her Nana had died, as she told the crowd. It’s been a rotten year for Lily Allen, who has suffered a miscarriage and subsequently spilt up with boyfriend Ed Simons. Ed was also on hand to comfort her, I hope it means they are on good terms. Her television show wasn’t as successful as she or the network hoped, and she’s feuding with Perez Hilton. Hopefully her second album, which she has just finished, will put the focus back on her music instead of her personal troubles.

Robbie Williams has turned down a £ 1.5 million appearance fee, and wants to go and hunt for UFOs with Lily Allen, according to the British tabloids.

The hubba hubba Holly­wood hillbilly, 34, has apparently told friends that he sees “a lot of himself” in the witty and outspoken singer, and without any hint of innuendo, too.

So he’s extended an offer of dinner at steakhouse to the stars STK, followed by a nightcap of gazing at more stars, this time made of carbon, on top of a car park.

Our Valley Girl cupid told us: “Rob loves LA but the one thing he does miss is the British sense of humour and impudence, so Lily’s attitude appeals to him.

“He thought it would be nice to meet up while she’s recording her album in town and got his people to call Lily’s people to invite her for dinner at his favourite restaurant. Rob likes to be a big brother figure to celebrities who seem to find themselves in the same position as he has been – young and vulnerable and in the glare of the media.

“And he feels that taking an interest in UFOs and the unknown is a good way of putting things into perspective, hence asking Lily to join him.”

It’s long been known that Robbie Williams has a fascination with aliens, he also has a history of drug use, and I’m fairly certain the two are related. I guess that seeing a being from outer space could be humbling, although if it turns out the aliens are fans it is going to stroke your ego to learn that your music transcends planets.

I’m not sure what I thought pop stars do in their spare time, apart from submerge things in swimming pools and fulfill the fantasies of groupies, but looking for intergalactic life forms is not one of the things I thought they did for fun.

Robbie is turning down the £ 1.5 million 30-minute gig to stick to his vow of never performing in public again.

The Angels singer has been offered $103,000(£49,900) a minute to headline a music festival in Norway - but he is unsure whether to accept as he has vowed to give up touring.

A friend of the star said: “It would probably be the easiest money he’ll make in his life but it’s touch and go whether he’ll say yes. We’ll have to wait and see.”

The 34-year-old recently posted a message on his personal blog saying he has no wish to return to live shows because his last tour “nearly killed” him.

He wrote: “The more time I’m spending away from public life, the more I like it.”

’m starting to think that Lily Allen may just be a high functioning alcoholic. Instead of taking responsibility for the copious amounts of alcohol she drank at the Glamour Awards on Tuesday night, Allen is hypothesizing that her drinks were actually spiked.

Last night Lily was overheard chatting to Janet Street-Porter outside The Royal Academy of Arts 24th Summer Exhibition Preview Party in Piccadilly, suggesting her condition may not have had anything to do with the prodigious amount of alcohol she consumed.

The 23-year-old said: ‘Yeah, I don’t know what happened, maybe I was spiked. I don’t remember a thing. I can normally get really drunk, but not like that.’

Lily’s night at the Glamour awards took a turn for the worse after a brief spell in the toilets left her incapable of standing up straight. Earlier she had been spotted taking full advantage of the free bar - drinking champagne, gin, vodka and Asahi beer. After a trip to the bathroom, security staff carried her outside, passing her over a fence and putting her in a cab.

Last night she said: ‘The worrying thing was that I was like a dead weight. I have been out so many times and got drunk and never ended up like that.

May I step in and suggest that it was perhaps not the result of a spiking, but more likely the result of the champagne, gin, vodka, AND beer. I realize there is of course a chance her drinks were spiked, but considering her long and well documented history of overindulging, it’s more likely that Allen just drank herself under the table.

Though she officially took responsibility for her drunkenness with a blog entry on her MySpace page clearly Lily Allen doesn’t think she has an actual problem. She makes light of her behavior, making it sound like one of those random, rare, stupid things we all do. Considering how often she supposedly ends up trashed – combined with making excuses like her drinks were spiked – it makes you worry that Lily has a much more serious problem that she needs to work on.

Songstress Lilly Allen was presented with the Editor’s Special Award at the Glamour Women of the year awards in London last night. She showed up in a pale pink off the shoulder retro-look cocktail dress with a print of a beheaded deer with blood spurting out of its neck. Lilly’s hair was a new shade of cotton candy pink, and she said she did it herself in the bathroom and is “happy with it.”

The hair color is cute on her and somehow she makes the baby blue shoes work with that dress by sporting matching blue nails. Her makeup is neutral and I think this look works for her when some additional accessories could have made it ridiculous. If only she could have stayed sober enough to be helped to her car instead of carried. Allen got so wasted at the awards that night that two security guards had to carry her. At one point the guards had to hand her off to two other guys over a fence.

She ventured out today in her Ray Bans to have a coffee and a smoke with a friend, and was likely nursing a wicked hangover. I can see having a few too many at a party, but when it’s an industry event like that you should obviously stop short of drinking so much you can’t walk. She’s still in great shape compared to Winehouse, though.

It’s hard to bash U.K. singer Lily Allen because the poor girl has been having a rough time of it lately. First, Allen was diagnosed with a heart condition that scared her enough to seek help in curbing her unhealthy eating and partying habits. The program of hypnosis, exercise and a healthy diet helped the star drop two dress sizes, and at the time, she said she had never been happier. When she and her boyfriend of only a few months, Chemical Brothers band member Ed Simons, announced that they were expecting, Lily was ecstatic about it but just a few weeks later, she suffered a miscarriage, which was quickly followed by a breakup with Simons. Since then, Lily has been seeking treatment for depression. As you might expect, all these life changes, along with the stress and hectic schedule of her TV show, have caused Lily to gain back most of the weight she lost last year.

The 22-year-old has blamed the stress of filming her BBC3 television show Lily Allen and Friends for her weight gain, and has vowed to resume her healthy lifestyle.

In recent times the newly blonde star has attempted to keep her curves hidden in baggy clothes and shapeless dresses.

She told Grazia: “I don’t look great at all. I’ve put on so much weight with all the stress of my TV show. I’m glad it’s over.”

“Now the show is over I am sure I will lose some weight, just naturally as well as exercising in the gym twice a week.”

“I hate fat tummies so I hope it goes by summer.”

Last year Lily shed 19lbs, saying the weight came off when she was told the “scary” news that she had the heart condition.

She said at the time: “I used to love nothing more than sitting in front of the telly with two packets of Ginger Nuts and two bags of milk bottle sweets - and I’d devour the lot.

“But this heart thing has made me cut back on all that kind of crap.

“I now find that, because I am looking after myself, I don’t feel like eating the bad stuff so much.”

Lily let her good habits slip after a miserable start to this year - she split from her Chemical Brothers boyfriend Ed Simons in January, not long after she suffered a miscarriage.

Despite opening to mixed reviews and disappointing ratings figures, Lily’s chat show has been signed on for a second series.

I haven’t seen her TV show, since we don’t get it here in the U.S., but from what I understand, it’s pretty lowbrow in content. But Lily is talented and popular, so it makes sense that the show would be renewed based on her star power alone. Still, I can’t help but think that the best way for Lily to come to terms with the drama she’s faced over the past six months is to head back to the recording studio and start putting all these events into music. That might be more therapeutic for her than sessions with a shrink or emotional eating. Plus, she’d have something to show for it other than baggy clothes. Believe me- I speak from experience on this one!

Is Lily Allen being treated for depression? While she hasn’t been hospitalized, the British tabloids are full of the news that Lily is seeing a psychologist, which I hardly think is a shock. The girl had a miscarriage, split with her boyfriend and her TV show isn’t getting a warm reception. It’s good and healthy to see a psychologist when you’re feeling upset. She has reportedly been having treatment in a private residential clinic.

According to today’s (March 5) edition (of The Sun), the singer is receiving treatment following her recent miscarriage and split from boyfriend Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers.

Despite being admitted to the clinic, Allen is apparently allowed out to film her BBC TV show, ‘Lily Allen And Friends’, and to see friends.

The newspaper quotes an anonymous friend of Allen’s as saying: “She is responding really well to treatment and is pleased that she is being allowed out to film her TV show and to keep in touch with her friends supporting her.”

While The Sun newspaper isn’t always the most reliable source, Lily has also pulled out of the Isle of Wight festival, the official reason for this is because she is behind in the production of her album. The promoter of the festival, Paul Giddings, told BBC radio that this wasn’t an acceptable excuse, but he won’t be suing Lily. He also won’t be replacing her, but will be making the festival more environmentally friendly. He seemed really stroppy about Lily pulling out, and I had the impression that the festival was really soon. It’s not until June, she’s given plenty of notice to withdraw her place in the line up, and I think his attitude is fairly unsympathetic given that he admits to reading the tabloids. Particularly this statement, where he alludes to Amy Winehouse, saying “Unfortunately this country has developed some great new girl singer songwriters, but they seem to be having a few problems don’t they?” Not all of the female musicians in Britain have emotional issues, okay?

Lily recently told Glamour magazine that she was finding it hard to stay clean as her friends all like to party.

She added to Britain’s Glamour magazine: “I’ve been sad and quite lonely recently because if you’re young, living in London and working in this industry, unless you drink and take a lot of drugs, there’s not much to do.

“I’ve been sitting on my own watching TV. It’s boring to go out if everyone else if taking cocaine and shouting at me.”

At first I thought that this was stupid, just get some new friends that aren’t enablers, but it seems that the British party scene and cocaine go hand-in-hand, enough so that the United Nations have released a report on the issue.

The price of cocaine has fallen to a record low as a United Nations report says that celebrity users have made the drug socially acceptable.

Police say privately that cocaine is becoming as acceptable in middle-class Britain as cannabis was a generation ago and that they are losing their battle against the drug.

The UN drug control agency’s annual report, published today, puts the blame at the door of celebrity culture and accuses the police of turning a blind eye to the rich and famous who misuse the drug.

I must be such an innocent – I had absolutely no idea that cocaine was so easy to come by. The UN describes it as the “cocaine culture” so perhaps it is more the circles you move in.
