Lindsay Lohan, the intended host of the World Music Awards, was met with boos whenever she went on stage last night. She was so upset that she tripped and fell down some stairs backstage. She stopped hosting about half way through after her accident, but that didn’t stop her from partying it up afterwards:

It was the night from hell for Lindsay Lohan at the World Music Awards.

She was visibly upset when the audience booed her every time she took to the stage, she fell down the stairs and was forced to abandon her role as main host of the ceremony.

The 20-year-old actress pulled out halfway through after tumbling down a flight of stairs backstage.

An onlooker at the awards in Earls Court revealed: “Lindsay was devastated, she came off stage and fell, and so she had to give up. It looked incredibly painful.”

Her role was from then on taken up by the individual awards presenters. Luckily, she was not seriously hurt – she was well enough to go partying afterwards, the only sign of injury a blue sticking plaster on a finger.

It seems like the Brits are fond of booing and that it’s more common there, judging from what I’ve seen of their sessions of Parliament, but I would like to see footage of Lohan getting booed. Did anyone see the Awards and can they verify the booing? The highlight video that was posted on The Daily Mail website did not include clips of Lindsay hosting, and nothing has hit YouTube yet.

Of course she went out partying afterwards. That always seems to take priority over her work obligations, no matter how obscenely paid she is.

A paparazzo hit Lohan’s vehicle from behind after a high-speed chase yesterday. This is the third car accident for Lindsay involving photographers. She was broadsided by a photographer’s minivan a year and a half ago, and she hit another car while trying to outrun photographers a year ago. Neither incident seems to have been Lohan’s fault.

Sources tell us a photographer chasing the 20-year-old actress rear-ended her black Mercedes near the corner of Olympic and La Cienega in L.A. around 2 a.m. yesterday.

“She was apparently able to drive a short distance from the crash,” says a source. “But she later pulled over and called a friend to pick her up.”

Lohan’s rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, confirmed the accident, but had no information on the “Bobby” star’s condition or whether she had filed a police report.

Earlier in the evening, Lohan was videotaped outside the hot spot Hyde, sitting in her car while talking to a “mystery man,” according to TMZ.com. “La Lohan appeared a little upset and teary-eyed under a hooded shirt” before “speeding off, alone,” the gossip site said.

People fear that Lohan is going to end up like Princess Diana, but there’s little chance of that since Diana was so beloved.

Lohan told Oprah yesterday that she hates her party girl image, and that she doesn’t think it’s a crime to go dancing with her friends. She was also defended by “Bobbie” director Emilio Estevez, who praised her professionalism on set, and said that she’ll never come close to partying as much as his brother.

Here’s a quick interview with Lindsay Lohan in 1997 about her first credited movie, “The Parent Trap.” She is surprisingly well spoken and media savvy.

Lindsay’s sister Ali turns 13 this December, and has a Christmas album coming out. It is thought that she is being groomed for a signing and acting career like her famous trainwreck sister.

Although Lindsay recently talked crap about wanting to take a year off, that seems to be doubtful considering how many projects she has lined up.

Now that Nicole and Paris have made up, Lindsay seems to be hanging out with them again. She was photographed out with Nicole Richie recently, and also hung out with Paris in Las Vegas this weekend, spending the night at her hotel suite.

Lindsay Lohan is said to have asked Starvos Niarchos ahead of time to make out with her in public in a bid to make Harry Morton jealous after he dumped her last week. She supposedly told Starvos that it would also get under Paris’ thin skin:

Lohan needs to get her own life and interests beyond shopping and partying if she wants to keep a man. Men hate the clingy types, and they want a woman who is secure in herself and doesn’t smother them. Lohan is said to have stalked her ex, Wilmer Valderrama, after their breakup in late 2004. It wouldn’t be surprising if she gets all Glen Close on Harry.

x17 claims to have video footage of Lohan and Harry mid-breakup, and from the looks of the guy comforting Lohan, they might be right.

Now she’s pulling high school antics to try to get Harry’s attention again. She even wore a “Team Harry” hat out. That’s so dumb it might be clever.

Lindsay Lohan made the moves on at least two of Paris’ tainted exes. In mid-may she was said to be sleeping with Paris Latsis, who got back with Paris Hilton afterwards and then wisely broke up with her again. Then a month later Paris and Lindsay had a screaming match at a club, with Paris yelling at Lindsay for sleeping with Stavros Niarchos, saying “I can’t believe you and Stavros! You are ridiculous!”

Now Paris is said to have openly flirted with Lindsay’s long-term (by her standards) lover, Harry Morton. Star Magazine suggests that they left a club “within moments” of each other afterwards, but if they met somewhere at a hotel you know it would have been reported. It sounds like Paris is just trying for payback.

Although flirting with someone else’s boyfriend seems like junior high school antics, Paris did hack into Lindsay’s cellphone just a short while ago, showing that she’s capable of high school level revenge. Paris actually never graduated from high school, and had to settle for a GED.

Lindsay Lohan seems to have recovered from the humiliation of flashing her crotch to the world and the heartbreak of having her poorly-guarded luxury goods swiped, because she’s out again half-dressed and shopping for more. She was spotted out in London wearing a shirt as a belted dress and trying to get away with a sheer top with no bra. The girl shouldn’t complain about the paparrazi in those mispelled e-mails she sends to bloggers, because she’s clearly courting attention in these outfits. (This is different than saying a crime victim is “asking for it.” These are photographs, not an after school special.)

Lohan’s orange Birkin bag has been returned to her with none of its pricey disorganized contents missing. It was reported missing at London’s Heathrow airport on Thursday. There are conflicting reports about how Lohan got her bag back. One account claims a good samaritan simply saw it laying on a trolley, forgotten by Lindsay’s people, and turned it in to police. Another says that a paparrazo had pictures of the thief and received a personal thanks from Lindsay for helping retreive her stuff. I think the latter is a fake press release, and the good samaritan story is more likely.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad Micheal is annoyed by his fellow inmates hanging up pictures of his 20 year-old daughter. He makes it seem like he’s tough shit when he describes it, like he personally confronted a bunch of Lindsay-loving criminals and got them to take his daughter’s picture down:

Whatever. No wonder Lindsay is so screwed up. Oh wait – there’s her mom, Dina “The White Oprah who takes any excuse to speak on her daughter’s behalf” Lohan too.

Not content to just screw with one daughter’s career and life, Dina has arranged for ittle Ali Lohan, 12, to put out an album:

At least it’s a holiday album. That seems a chaste enough for a 12 year-old. The poor girl.

Here is Lindsay with Harry in Venice at the “Bobby” premiere and photocall. As PopSugar points out, she’s wearing a big ‘ol engagement ring. It looks like Harry is adding some much-needed stability to her life. It’s a shame her family couldn’t do that for her.

Lindsay Lohan was in Hawaii with her boyfriend, Pink Taco head Harry Morton, and the paps got plenty of photos and videos of them during their vacation. It looks like they were putting on a little show for the cameras as Harry grabs Lindsay’s boob suggestively and tilts her back while they kiss.

Rumor has it that Harry bought Lindsay an engagement ring at Cartier and was planning on popping the question. It may have happened as X17 has pictures of Lindsay wearing a big ‘ol ring on her left ring finger as she leaves Hawaii. It’s non-traditional if it’s an engagement ring, but Lindsay isn’t really a conventional girl.

X17 also has video of Harry and Lindsay at the airport. Poor Lindsay holds up her own camera and pitifully snaps random shots of all the surrounding paparrazi as a piss-poor defense. When the annoying cameraman following them asks Harry if they’re going to elope or get married, he says “maybe.”

Lindsay’s mom told Star magazine that she’s not engaged, but it could be true and she might not know about it:

It could be a promise ring or something. Lindsay seems to be smitten if she skipped the VMAs for this guy. Then again, she wasn’t missing much.

Lindsay Lohan should either keep her mouth shut or try to make sure that people stop making up fake quotes and attributing them to her, because she supposedly slammed Ashlee Simpson for getting plastic surgery. She said that the tabloids didn’t pay enough attention to Ashlee’s new nose, but that’s bullshit because it was all over the place and Ashlee was even forced to admit that she had rhinoplasty.

Lohan also repeated that lie that her boobs are real, saying she’s never done anything. Yeah, she didn’t do it, a plastic surgeon did. She’s pretty good at arguing the finer points of the truth. Maybe she should go to law school. Oh wait – she’d have to go to college first. (Yeah, I’m blasting the celebrities for lack of education today. It kind of amazes me how popular Lohan and Paris are when they didn’t even try to go to college.)
